The article considers the extrusion process as a method of preparation of compound feeds for aquaculture objects. The positive qualities of extruded compound feeds in aquaculture are given. The dynamics of the production volume of compound feeds for fish in 2018-2021 is given. Review and analysis of scientific research of domestic scientists, showed that extruded feeds in comparison with pelleted feeds have a lower feed coefficient at the same formulation, the feed coefficient of extruded feeds is more than 2 times lower.
