Streszczenie:
One of the two notable elements of modernist politics that emerged in the West was fundamentalism, and the other was identity politics. Postmodern politics encompasses the inadequacies of modernist politics and alternative political ideas. The three elements of unleashing politics, the politics of remnants, and the politics of difference give rise to a fundamental understanding of postmodern politics. It is also necessary to divide it according to the Tamil context into differential feminist politics, Dalit feminist politics, Dalit politics, rainbow coalition or fusion politics, marginal politics, and Periyarist politics. Based on this, the postmodern politics found in the poems of modern Tamil poets such as Salma, Sukirtharani, Sivakami, Thirumagan, M.T. Muthukumarasamy, and T. Kaverinadan have been explained through this article.

Streszczenie:
Over the last sixty years, overtly intertextual poems with titles such as “Poem Beginning with a Line by John Ashbery” and “Poem Ending with a Line by George W. Bush” have been appearing at an increasing rate in magazines and collections. These poems wed themselves to other texts and authors in distinct ways, inviting readers to engage with poems which are, themselves, in conversation with lines from elsewhere. These poems, which I refer to as “apprompted” poems, explicitly challenge readers to investigate the intertextual conversation, and in doing so, they adopt inherent risks. My thesis will chart the various effects these poems can have for readers and the consequences they may hold for the texts from which they borrow. Literary critics such as Harold Bloom and J. H. Miller have described the act of borrowing as competitive and parasitic—“agon” is Bloom’s term for what he sees as the oedipal anxiety of poets and poets’ texts to their antecedents, but an investigation of this emerging genre in terms of linguistic pragmatics shows that apprompted poems are performing a wider range of acts in relation to their predecessors. Unlike Bloom’s theory, which interprets the impulse of poetic creation through psychoanalysis, I employ linguistic terms from Brown and Levinson’s linguistic Politeness theory to analyze apprompted poems as conversational speech events. Politeness theory provides a useful analysis of these poems by documenting the weight of threats to the positive and negative “faces” of the participants in each poetic conversation. I have documented these “face-threatening-acts” and used them to divide apprompted poems into five major speech events: satire, revision, promotion, pastiche, and ecclesiastic. Ultimately, this paper serves at the intersection of literary criticism and linguistics, as I suggest a theoretical approach to the interpretation and criticism of apprompted poems by way of linguistic pragmatics.

Streszczenie:
Why might it be that a dedicated system of accentuation is used for ‘the Three’—the ‘poetic’ books of Job, Proverbs, and Psalms—but not for the many other ‘poetic texts’ found scattered throughout the ‘Twenty-One’ (the rest of the books of the Hebrew Bible)? The earliest commentators associate the two types of Tiberian accentuation with differences in verse-length. More modern commentators attribute it to the essence of poetry. Following these two ideas, two different methods of presenting poetry can be observed in the Twenty-One. One is appropriate to poetic texts with short verses (of fewer than eight words per verse) and the other is appropriate to poetic texts with long verses (of more than ten words per verse). Within this double system, the practical challenges of presenting short-verse poetic texts under the accentuation system of the Twenty-One can be observed in the one text that attempts this feat (2 Sam. 22). This observation suggests a rationale for a different system of accentuation that is more appropriate to extended texts of exclusively short-verse poetry, as found in the books of Psalms, Proverbs, and Job, but not in the books of Chronicles, Lamentations and Song of Songs.

Streszczenie:
This article aims to show how Dante Alighieri was ‘used’ in Renaissance Polish literature. Dante was known by Polish intellectuals first of all as a political theorist. Only in the second half of the 14th century did Polish writers start to refer to him as a great poet (Długosz). However, Dante was rather known than read and ‘used’ as a topic character to demonstrate the excellence of vernacular poetry. Andrzej Trzecieski the Younger, in fact, wrote in a couple of epigrams to his friend Mikołaj Rej, that Rej is to Polish literature, what Dante (and Petrarch) was to Italian literature; in addition to this, Trzecieski underlines, through intertextual allusions, that Dante (and Rej) had the same dignity of ancient Greek and Latin poets. This attitude that vernacular literature is on par with Greek and ancient literature is found also in the elegy III 8 by Jan Kochanowski, where Ronsard is presented as a “classic” poet. The final part of this work compares the situation in 15th and 16th-century Italian and Polish literature in terms of the relationship between ancient and vernacular poetry.

Streszczenie:
Arabic literature, especially poetry, was not static literature, isolated from the issues of the society in which the poet grew up, and he grew up in it, drawing inspiration from it for its themes, purposes, images, and language, and pouring it into a poetic form that is a literary image of the poet’s thoughts, views, and feelings, The subject he dealt with was rather literature that lives the concerns of society, and he still does so. The poet's concern with the concerns of his society has produced a new color in modern Arabic poetry, which is social poetry. Since the price hike and the rise in prices have become a heavy social concern that Arab societies, and others, suffer from at the present time, this matter prompted me to research this topic, to clarify the position of modern Arab poetry on the issue of high prices, and the way it depicts them, and I found sufficient and relevant poems A value in which its organizers dealt with this issue that recurs at all times and places, and becomes a terrifying nightmare that worries and frightens society, threatens the collapse of governments, corrupts consciences, and enters human moral, social, economic, and political relations under the shade. In this lies the importance of the research, and the motive for it. The researcher will approach the investigative method by examining the poems that were mentioned for this purpose. He will provide from them what he deems appropriate, and follow that with the analytical method, analyzing the meanings, thought, and attitudes contained in these poems. To get as clearly as possible the position of modern Arabic poetry on the high prices and the high prices, trying to answer some of the questions that revolve in the researcher’s mind towards: Is modern Arabic poetry a real interaction with this social problem? Did his reaction rise to the extent of the problem? Was it on the side of society or on the side of those who caused it?

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of the work of Iyo Soga, the author of “connected stanzas” (renga). The ways of presenting love lyrics in the poem Sogi dokugin nanihito hyakuin (One hundred stanzas of the poet Sogi, 1499) are highlighted. The issues of the influence of the previous classical literature on the poet’s work, the specifics of intra-literary continuity in the history of medieval Japanese verse are discussed. The implicit meanings of love stanzas are revealed. Precedent texts with which the stanzas of the poem establish associative links are found. Intertextuality acts as the meaning-forming beginning of renga poetry.

Streszczenie:
The first poetic cycle of 50 New Yuefu was written by Bo Juyi (白居易, 772–846) in 809 after the works of by his friend Li Shen (李紳, 772–846). Bo Juyi wrote it simultaneously with another great Tang poet Yuan Zhen (元稹, 779–831), and the new literary style has been known for centuries as Yuan-Bo (元白). Both of the poets shared the same attitude towards the role of letters in the society and aspired to implement their credo at the official posts they held. The origin of New Yuefu philosophy dates back at least to 806, when he together with Yuan Zhen created the illustrious political composition known as Celin (策林), where the bulk of their sociopolitical concepts were pronounced and stated. Most of these notions, inspired by Fugu movement, seem quite predictable and naive: the belief in an omni harmonizing role of ancient ritual, claim of necessity to promote worthy and knowledgeable, appeal to stop war and cut taxes. With all that this was a declaration of primary of benevolence over quasi orderliness, and this idea fully revealed later in New Yuefu poetry. Surely enough, New Yuefu have not been limited to the 50 poems, inspired by Li Shen. The new poetic experience gave birth to a whole literary trend, covering the most burning, up-to-date issues of contemporaneousness as well as the nearest past, picturing typical characters of different strata, pointing out social diseases and perils. The absolute trust in uppermost ritual role of a text has been embodied in such texts as, for example, Song of Eternal Grief (《長恨歌》), where the infamous story of Emperor Xuan-zong (玄宗, 685–762) and his favorite concubine Yang Gui-fei (楊貴妃, 719–756) found a new interpretation, that later would have become mainstream. Thus, the main conclusions are: 1) New Yuefu had a philosophic basement, carried out long before the first poem of the new style appeared; 2) its main goal was to revive the actual social role of poetry; 3) it had a great impact on the later Chinese poetry and social thought.

Sound images in the translated poems have the same semantic and ‘poetic’ characteristics as in the original works by Pasternak.

Poetry has been since pre-Islamic times, and continues to this day to be of great importance to scholars, researchers, specialists, and others. These were made available to poets in later literary ages, and the mu’allaqat came at the forefront of these monuments. The introduction to these pendants is such that over time they became the pride of the Taghlib tribe, which distinguished it from others that its poet was a master of his tribe, and that his tribe was the greatest of the Arab tribes, and that the reason for its organization was unique, which is the killing of the poet by an unjust king who tried to insult the king in his council because of him An incident that revolves between reality and imagination, and I have not found, within my knowledge, who has dealt with the grammatical meanings of this study; Because of the importance of this commentator, the importance of its poet, and the importance of the grammar lesson in understanding the literary text, I chose from this commentary verses that I consider to be the core and center of the suspension, and I studied them based on the grammar lesson; To memorize the precise meanings that the poet imparted in his structures, and the grammatical sentences with which he weaves these verses, and the importance of research lies in the motive for it, its goal, and its subject.

Streszczenie:
The main means which organizes the verse in popular Faroese poetry is end rhyme. In four-line stanzas the rhyme connects the second and the fourth lines, in two-line ones both present lines. The Faroese rhyme is not strict. It is enough only to repeat the stressed vowel, the consonant following after might vary. The part of the word which follows the stressed vowel may undergo significant changes. The masculine ending sometimes rhymes with the feminine one. Even the stressed vowel might vary to some extent. The Faroese rhyme is often trivial. The ballads on the Faroese Isles were oral. So, some special formula technique was applied for their transition. The means of the formula technique are formulas and repetitions. The formulas are metrically conditioned reproducible word groups having the length of one line, meanwhile the repetitions are metrically non-conditioned sequences of different length. The formulas and repetitions, as well as they perform the same function of the building material for the oral poetic text, also possess the same structure. They both are composed from permanent end variable parts. In repetitions their entwinement takes different forms. They may follow one another, usually first comes the permanent part then the variable one. The permanent part sometimes occupies the second half of one stanza and then the first half of the following stanza. The permanent end variable parts might cross one another. In this case the permanent part occupies unpair lines and the variable part occupies pair ones. The distribution of these parts of both formulas and repetitions is tied to the rhyming places of the verse. The rhyming word is usually located in the variable part but sometimes it is found in the permanent part. This one more time proves that there is no impenetrable boundary between formulas and repetitions. Refs 8.

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the reasons for the success of the Modern and Contemporary American Poetry Course held by Professor Al Filreis from the University of Pennsylvania, held on Coursera platform. Among the success factors, based on participants' feedback, we find the interaction with the instructor and teaching assistants, as well as with other students, which is found to a larger extent than in other MOOCs. Reasons for the use of the strategies will also be explored. We know from Hofstede's cultural dimensions that the USA score low on the power distance index, meaning that the relationships with authority are friendly and on equal terms. The interaction teacher - student is done in the same way in the offline as in the online media, with the same type of communication, low-context since the US relies on explicit communication. Otherwise, we notice how creativity of the students is encouraged, as they are given the freedom to express their opinions on the poems studied, another feature of low power distance cultures in the field of education. The benefit of such a course is that it encourages students to see poetry as accessible and as a means to express themselves freely and become more aware of how they feel when they react to understanding poetry. Students of all ages can share their experiences in the interpretation of the poems. The way the course is taught is in tune with the way contemporary poetry claims to be anti-elitist and thus accessible to everyone.

Streszczenie:
The article deals with the problem of the meaningfulness (essence) of the worldview journalism in the context of the argumentative resources of the work of influentive authors, for which the missionary role of the word is decisive. The search for meaning has been debated for centuries by orators, philosophers, psychologists, writers, sociologists, historians, journalists, and so on. In addition to other factors, a combination of the principles of worldview journalism and conceptual humanitarianism gives effective results. The author explores the acute problem of the effectiveness of a journalistic text through the prism of knowing the truth, meaning, since this is precisely where the source of wisdom is found; we are talking about spirituality, culture, historical memory. As influental authors proved with their arguments, the collection of facts is not enough, it is important to find the meaning of the existence of the individual, communities, and humanity. A number of examples show how the speakers of worldview journalism use all texts, not only from the archives: we are talking about poetry, art, in general, about literature, which revealed the most truth. Figuratively speaking, it is not only about the world of borders, it is important to consider horizons. Turning information into a commodity, focusing on “seasonal” interest based on the materialism of facts, or the inadequacy of many concepts and categories, the faking of media, relativity, obscurity of texts, anti-culture, in other words, the revolution of nihilism inevitably relativizes the very essence of journalism. If creative life is a manifestation of the freedom of the spirit, based on authentic truth, then we should strive to achieve the “extension of vision”, to master combinatorial (combinative) thinking. The ability to think in this way differs from ordinary logic in which the main universal thing remains in the center of attention, and the personality is not lost in individual details. Consequently, we can build a genealogy of ordered things and concepts, feel their inner relationship. Key words: meaning, worldview, journalism, argument, influence, moral principles, creativity.
