A molecular genetic analysis of horologically related populations of Pinus sylvestris L. was carried out. In the east and northeast of the East European Plain using intermicrosatellite analysis of DNA polymor-phism. Data on the genetic diversity of populations were obtained and the state of their gene pools was assessed.
