AbstractLocalised Multivariate Uniform Conditioning (LMUC) is a technique designed for spatially locating Selective Mining Unit (SMU) grades derived using Multivariate Uniform Conditioning (MUC) for the assessment of recoverable resources. LMUC has the advantage of producing SMU estimates conforming to the MUC panel-specific grade-tonnage curves while preserving the spatial grade distribution at the selective mining level. The stress corrosion cracking properties of UNS S32101 were investigated under constant strain conditions. Both evaporative and immersion test methods were used. Abstract Many steels and alloys have been used in the construction of wet limestone flue gas desulfurization (FGD) air pollution control systems ranging from duplex and austenitic stainless steels to highly alloyed grades of nickel-base corrosion-resistant alloys. The quest for cost control in power production has driven designers to the lower end of this range of materials. Some FGD absorber vessels recently constructed of duplex stainless steel have experienced severe corrosion after less than one year of operation.
