In this study, we examined the impact which bank credits and some capital market variables had on the performance of the Nigerian manufacturing sector. Secondary time series data from 1986 to 2017 was used which was analysed using an ARDL bounds testing to cointegration. The results showed that while MCR negatively and significantly impacted on manufacturing output, TVTR and ASI positively and significantly increased the growth of the manufacturing output. BCRM, on the other hand, impact on manufacturing output was positive but insignificant. We made some recommendations.

The objective of the paper is to investigate the effect of fiscal policy on manufacturing sector output in Nigeria between 1986 and 2021. The type of data utilized was secondary and was extracted from the Central Bank of Nigeria’s 2021 statistical records. The Fully modified ordinary Least Square method of analysis was adapted in carrying out the analysis. Unit root tests were carried out on each of the variables used in the study to avoid spurious regression results, and the results confirmed variables are all stationary at first difference. Indonesia is currently experiencing deindustrialization, characterized by a manufacturing industrial sector growth rate lower than the overall economic growth rate. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage the development of the industrial sector to achieve sustainable development. The scenario for industrial development policy is determined based on an evaluation of the country's economic position in relation to current business cycle conditions. The evaluation is carried out through output gap analysis, which refers to the gap between actual and potential output. The research aim is to analyz

The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between trade policy and the output of the manufacturing sector. Three hypotheses were formulated. The study adopted ordinary least squares econometric approach on the time series data from 1986 to 2020 to generate the estimates of the models to test the hypotheses at 5% level of significance. Besides, there is significant disparity between male and female labour force participation rates in the country. To this end, this study investigated the impact of industrial sector performance on labour force participation in Nigeria. The total industrial sector output was disaggregated into the outputs of the various components of the Nigerian industrial sector namely; manufacturing, mining and quarrying, utility and construction sectors. The contribution of the oil manufacturing sector output in Nigeria has raised concerns about whether or not the country has benefited from trade liberalization, especially when considering the country's major oil manufacturing sector. Therefore, this paper used the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) technique to investigate the short-run and long-run impacts of trade liberalization on the output of Nigeria's oil manufacturing sector.
