This study examined the relationship between mathematics anxiety, mathematics self-efficacy and perceived mathematics success among 131 freshmen Zambian engineering and natural and applied science students. A quantitative ex post facto survey design was used to achieve the research objectives. Negative but statistically significant relationships between mathematics anxiety and self-efficacy as well as perceived mathematics achievement were established.
