Patients' self-narratives articulate the social and psychological experiences of disease. Listening to these narratives enhances understanding of their pain and distress, aiding in rediscovering life's meaning post-illness. Using grounded theory analysis, this study developed an "element-identity-strategy" model from Zhihu cancer narratives, highlighting elements like narrative closure, feedback, and local culture. Patients use dimensions of body, self, and relationships in their narratives to create identities such as physical sufferers and self-worth victims. Cancer survivors draw from personal and cultural experiences to reestablish value through role reconstruction. Lacking emotional and social support, they turn to familial ties and integrate new social supports through online and offline interactions, gaining strength to rewrite their life's narrative.

During the first lockdown for virus Covid-19, March and April 2020, the author reflected on the strength of Omolù, the archetype of illness-healing/death and rebirth, that was permeating the entire world; if and how it was perceived and if, despite the evidence, illness and death were still events to hide or if people felt It as rituals of passage or as an opportunity for spiritual and psychological transformation. To explore this, the author conducted a qualitative research using a questionnaire for depth interviews. The survey aimed to understand the differences of perception of the archetype between those who were following the BTE method and practices, those who were following other spiritual paths and those that did not started any spiritual or psychological pathways. All answers have been collected, observed and reported using also verbatim to underline the strength of the results. The film Rebirth, starring Eric Chang and Ruan Jingtian, tells the story of two people with very different personalities who meet for the same purpose of revenge and desire to seek redemption in that revenge. This paper will analyze the film 'Rebirth', examining the impact and costs of revenge on the individual involved and those potentially affected, as well as delving into the concept of redemption between individuals and the intricacies of human nature as depicted in the film. This paper will study the psychological impact of revenge on the characters and the moral dilemma from a psychological perspective; then analyze it from a socio-cultural perspective, exploring the diversity of the expression of the theme of revenge in different cultures; and finally analyze the visual language of the film, analyzing the portrayal of each character as well as the transformation of each scene at the moment of revenge through the study of the film's plot. This paper will combine the above factors to analyze the ending and cost ofrevenge, conclude that the cost of revenge is multi-dimensional, mixed with the complexity of human nature, and reflect on the social phenomenon with the content of the film so as to provoke more thoughts.

Conversion has traditionally been understood as a psychological or sociological process of individual or group change. However, as a rhetorical process, conversion may best be understood as a communication behavior for individuals desiring public image revitalization. The rhetorical requirements for such a transformation are generic in nature. Legitimation of this public profession is controlled by the rhetorical climate in which the rhetorical strategy is employed. The case of Charles Colson's celebrated 1976 autobiography, Born Again, along with his subsequent celebrityhood among those in the religious right, underscores how this image revitalization strategy can be employed.

This research was conducted to explore the outcomes following the implementation of the self-help strategies recommended in "Psychological Transformation Journey and Finding Yourself Guide: 52 Weeks of Rebirth from a Positive Psychotherapy Perspective." Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study employed a single-group pre-test-post-test design for quantitative analysis and a phenomenological approach for qualitative insights. Data collection tools included a Demographic Information Form, a Qualitative Evaluation Form, and the Positive-Negative Affect Scale. The participant pool consisted of 179 psychological counselors and their 179 clients, who varied in educational background and profession. Quantitative results indicated notable enhancements in both positive and negative affect dimensions across areas such as achievement, body image, relationships, and fantasy-spirituality. Qualitatively, the study documented changes in participants' attitudes toward seeking psychological help, increased self-awareness, experimentation with new behaviors, enhanced social support, and self-acceptance. These findings suggest that guided self-reflection and support are critical in overcoming personal challenges and fostering growth and self-awareness, as reflected by participants' expressed gratitude and heightened motivation to tackle personal difficulties.

Globally, countless individuals end their lives through suicide, and South Korea, which prides itself on being among the ranks of advanced nations, is not exempt from this pressing social issue. This study seeks to explore whether sandplay therapy, grounded in an analytical psychological understanding, can offer therapeutic support to clients experiencing severe depression and suicidal ideation. Depression, studied extensively since the time of Hippocrates, remains a profound psychological symptom closely linked to suicide. However, current research and clinical approaches in this field are largely limited by their focus on external symptoms and socio-economic perspectives. In contrast, analytical psychologists advocate for an inward gaze, emphasizing the exploration of the inner world. Scholars like James Hillman and David Rosen, from this tradition, provide profound psychological insights into suicide and depression. They expand our understanding of these phenomena by addressing the deep layers of the human psyche that conventional suicide research often neglects, framing them as opportunities for the rebirth of the ego. This study examines case analyses of sandplay therapy, a modality rich in symbols and archetypes, to investigate its therapeutic potential for clients grappling with depression and suicidal ideation. Within the safety of the sandbox, clients can explore transformative possibilities, moving away from the extreme path of literal suicide toward a symbolic death and rebirth of the ego. For clients who feel trapped in depression and suicidal ideation, unable to transcend the collapse of their sense of omnipotence, the sandbox offers a sacred, boundless space where they can encounter archetypes and be guided toward transformation and healing.

While the nature of their experience is unknown, hospice workers may unconsciously strive for encounters with death as a way of healing themselves and preparing for death. The purpose of this case study was to explore the psychological experience of hospice workers, whose repeated encounters with death may affect their own psyche. The study integrated psycho-biographical and hermeneutic methods. Personal growth was conceptually defined as a process of turning inward and integration of personal experiences into a larger reality. The elements supporting personal growth were present in 53 to 88% of the 17 hospice workers of the sample. The emerging themes were interconnectedness, suffering and sacrifice, and birth and rebirth. Caring to the dying becomes practice for one's own death and a form of renewal in the life of the hospice workers.

Romanian psychology has undergone extensive transformations over the past 70 years, in relation to social and political changes that took place in Romanian society during this period. After building an internationally recognized status by the year 1938, the establishment of the totalitarian regime in 1948 had a negative influence on psychology, essentially on ideological grounds. Of course, during this period of over 40 years, there were several stages in terms of the intensity of interference. After the Revolution that led to the process of democratisation in 1989 we can witness the rebirth of psychology in Romania and its gradual reconnecting to mainstream psychology. In this paper, we trace how these broad changes are reflected in the Romanian psychology books published in the last 70 years, relating them to the evolution of Romanian society.

It draws conclusion that through this psychological journey in Narnia, the protagonists has undergone spiritual rebirth and their psyche has been raised to new heights.

碩士
國立嘉義大學
輔導與諮商學系研究所
106
This article was a story of my own life. When I was just 28 years old with shallow life experience, I received an unexpected and forceful present that I really did not appreciate from the God, which depressed me for as long as 19 years with reluctance and unwillingness in my soul of childhood. At last, this wound burst open, through which I engaged in constant exploration and learning of life, and let myself start from my “heart”. And I accept my current status and keep on pursuing a better future through review and introspection of my past. So in this article, I am conducting an holistic-content analysis and interpretation in a narrative way, from which I will be aware of, refresh and rebuild myself. The study aims to let widows find the way of recovery and habituation based on personal narration of sad experience. It also explores how these widows could embrace the “pity” in past sadness and how to motivate internal power of recovery and habituation. Research results are as follows: Learn to face the dilemma and make compromise with setbacks; make right decisions, hold correct ideas and make self-acceptance unconditionally. Things must be learned from sadness, happiness, success and failure. Other than “missed” or “lost”, the current happiness to be held is worth the highest cherishment. Always believe that meaningful “life” depends on endless study and “self-inspiration”. For all the sad tears, accept the defects, shame, fear, disappointment for being abandoned and compromise; remain calm throughout the changeful life; keep on living a real life and regain the true ego. “Mind” is the king of rules; fuel the “mind” and bring power back to yourself. “Love yourself and others”, “forgive yourself and others”: forget the pities and minimize the harm. Through long-term “study”, face the setbacks unflinchingly and bring enlightenment to life. “Appreciate our parents and life”: most valuable thing to be explored is to “meet the real ego”; understand the life profoundly, not in a time-based manner. “Face pities with courage, learn how to get rebirth” throughout the life: live a meaningful life.

Deconstruction in Dostoevsky’s Novels: Ideas, Plans, Preparatory Materials, Main Text This article examines the role of deconstruction in Dostoevsky’s novels as a technique for bringing the ideological and psychological components of images into collision. These images are imbued with complex paradoxical meaning, revealing anthropological and philosophical issues in the writer’s work. Crime and Punishment advances the theme of a need for crime in order to achieve the moral rebirth of the hero. Moving forward on this path, the novel dismantles both inner and outer limits in the space of the hero. In The Idiot, Dostoevsky links passionate and antagonistic motifs to the Christian idea, thereby deconstructing boththe entire ethical concept of Myškin and the narrative associated with it. In The Adolescent the main character is subjected to destructive motivational interventions.

This chapter looks at the regime's increasingly desperate, if futile, investment in ‘miracle weapons’, partisan warfare, and cataclysmic ‘twilight’ imagery during the final years of the war, providing a fitting corollary to the disintegration of the Third Reich. During the final months of the war, when defeat appeared inevitable, many Nazis and millions of ordinary Germans wanted to believe that death was not permanent, that fantasy was reality, and that a ‘magical priest’ might rescue them from annihilation. In this way, the regime's fanciful invocation of miracle weapons, of partisan werewolves and vampires, and of ritual self-immolation, functioned as a form of therapy for Germans suffering through material and psychological distress. However, if twilight imagery helped Germans reconcile themselves to everyday violence, criminality, and loss, it also augured the disintegration of the Third Reich and Germany's post-war rebirth.

In StefJhen Hero, the narrative refers to her by her full name and not just by her initials. Earwicker, Humphrey Chimpden The main figure of Finnegans Wake. Earwicker is most often identified as the sleeping hero whose dreaming mind is the central consciousness of the Wake and the psychological space in which the action of the work takes place. His presence, identity, occupation and history (as well as those of his wife, ANNA LIVIA PLURABELLE, and their three children-twin sons SHEM and SHAUN, and daughter ISSY) are subject to multiple changes and mutations that occur within the dream-like dynamics of the work. Throughout the Wake, Earwicker and his wife appear as polar opposites, forces that are distinct yet dependent on each other for their identities and very existence-Earwicker as the principle of space and time, Anna Livia as the source of rebirth and life. Shem and Shaun emerge ofttimes as conflicting aspects of F.arwicker’s own troubled self, and the split embodiment of his fear of aging. His relationship with his daughter, who reminds him of a younger Anna Livia, has incestuous overtones, for she appears to arouse his sexual desire.

Streszczenie:
Eros is one of the main themes of world literature. The theory of love, dialectically expounded by Plato in The Banquet, had a great influence on all European cultures, especially on morality, fiction, and fine arts. The experience of world literature confirms Plato’s theory, including the poetry of Virgil, his works «Bucolic», «Georgica» and «Aeneid». The purpose of the paper is to identify the characteristic features of the mythology of Eros in the works of Virgil, to clarify the nature of the eternal relevance of Plato’s philosophical discovery of earthly love and heavenly love, his vitality in literary works. Methodology. The choice of methods is determined by the peculiarities of the scientific problems of the topic, the solution of which is based on the selection, systematization, comparison, and textual analysis of the relevant material. The main method of research is comparative-historical with genetic and contact approaches, which are in the direct or indirect dialogue of Virgil with other authors. The psychological method was used to know the inner world of the artist, and his author’s interpretation of the mythology of Eros. Results of the survey. Objectively substantiated results are obtained, structural, thematic, and ideological characteristics of Eros mythology are systematized in their interrelation as a complex phenomenon during a certain period in Virgil’s poetry, and established ideas about the mythopoetic paradigm in ancient literature are developed. Plato’s teachings on Eros, its two stages – lower (Earthly love) and higher (Heavenly love) actualize the works of Virgil: «Bucolics», «Georgics», «Aeneid». Рractical implications and value. The practical significance of the work and its value are determined by the possibility of using it in the course of lectures at higher educational institutions. The same results can be taken into account when writing monographs, textbooks, and manuals, in the development of lectures, courses, and special courses on the history of foreign literature. In the Bucolics, Virgil raises the issue of the harmony of man and nature associated with the beauty of Eros. Virgil’s «Bucolics» testify to the complex inner world of man, to the dissonances of his soul, tired of the big city. Rural themes, full of beauty and love of life with all the colors of the Italian land, with the poet’s favorite evening – the constant motifs of the idyllic world of Virgil, which encourages love. In the Georgics, Virgil considers four themes: love, renunciation, death, and rebirth, developing Plato’s theory of the lower and higher levels of Eros – earthly and heavenly love. Virgil denies earthly love. He focuses on libido sexual – sexual desire as the lower stage of Eros. Virgil condemns not only carnal love but also all passion. The vanity of horses rushing to the finish line is no different from human vanity. An example of renunciation of love and all passion is the bee kingdom in Book IV «Georgik». Dido’s tragic love for Aeneas began with libido. Virgil equates the queen’s love affair with illness, a terrible element, a catastrophe. The spirit of great tragedy hovers throughout the fourth book of the Aeneid. Sympathizing with Dido, Virgil condemns her love for Aeneas as a destructive, destructive force, a mad shawl of love passion. However, the poet does not deny purified, that is, ideal love in the Platonic sense. It begins with love for the native land, for beauty, and reigns in all his works. It is love for nature, which permeates the artistic world of the poet, for native lares and penates, love for parents and paternal and maternal love, a mutual friendship between kindred spirits, and finally – love for all things: trees, celestial bodies, space life. Universal love dominates all the works of Virgil.

Streszczenie:
Psychosomatic is an interdisciplinary scientific direction in which the psychological, social and cultural factors of the occurrence of bodily diseases are studied. The term psychosomatic is not a qualitatively new concept, but represents the rebirth of the ethical principles of medicine, approaching the disease not as a specific individual phenomenon, but as a disease of a certain person, a disease of the soul, body and everything that surrounds it, i.e. his social environment. Starting with the impact of the family, the relationships between the parents, the permissions and prohibitions unconsciously assimilated by the individual from early childhood. The family, like the body and psyche, is a system. In recent years, a lot of literature has been written on this topic, many psychosomatic therapy centers, psychosomatic blogs, videos, documentaries, etc. have opened. which contributes to people’s awareness and responsibility for their psychophysical health.
