The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of content of a copovidone binder (0%, 5% and 10% w/w) and its addition method on compression and compaction properties of six MCCformulations following dry granulation. Briquetting was used to form dry granules for furthercharacterization. The mean yield pressure and fracture strength of granules were assessed at 300MPa on the basis of “in-die” Heckel and Adams model respectively.
