This study focuses on the employment status and prospects of e-commerce majors in assisting rural revitalization from the perspective of ideological and political education empowerment. Through the analysis of 232 valid questionnaires, it was found that although 89. 7% of students agree with the role of ecommerce in promoting rural revitalization, only 36. 2% of students actually participate in rural e-commerce projects, revealing a significant "knowledge action gap". Research has shown that there is a mismatch between e-commerce education and the demand for rural revitalization, with only 41.
