While a singular neuter transitive subject is marked by /-anza/suffix, commons DPs end with an /-š/mark. We describe and analyze the previously undocumented verbal agreement system of Kutchi (Indo-Aryan). We argue that Kutchi instantiates a novel type of split ergativity.
