Pełny tekst źródłaThe vulnerability of guided transport systems facing natural hazards is a burning issue for the urban risks management. Experience feedbacks on guided transport systems show they are particularly vulnerable to natural risks, especially flood risks. Besides, the resilience concept is used as a systemic approach for making an accurate analysis of the effect of these natural risks on rail guided transport systems. The purpose of this thesis is to provide an analysis of guided transport systems’ resilience in the face of flood risks through a study of the failure mechanisms to which the components of these systems are subjected. Indeed, the urban critical infrastructures such as guided transport systems are complex systems in which the components are strongly interdependent. This interdependency may imply many failures caused by cascade effect within the system. Moreover, the qualitative methodology is linked to a probabilistic framework. Indeed, from the probability of a natural hazard occurring with a given intensity through components failures due to cascade effect, the objective is to assess the probability of degraded modes of operation. This probabilistic framework allows to shift from a qualitative approach based on dependability methods to a quantitative approach based on Bayesian networks

Pełny tekst źródłaThe objective of this thesis is the design and development of a cooperative operating system, traditional public transport modes and existing resources, in order to offer a resilient transport network that can cope with large or small scale disruptions. The vehicles will be used as a service to serve existing traditional public transport and as a regulatory element in the event of disruption. This system must be able to help operators to efficiently manage the networks in the event of disruptions or breaks (line operation problem, major events, zone closure, etc.). The system will make it possible to cope with fluctuations in capacity and guarantee operation with minimal loss of performance and costs. In order to guarantee the level of service and the resilience of the network, particular attention will be paid to: the design of the replacement vehicle network as service services to existing traditional transport networks. the synchronization of the schedules of the replacement vehicle services and public transport. • the development of vehicle re-routing and re-allocation strategies in different disruption scenarios to reduce the loss of system functionality leading to monetary loss and loss of passenger loyalty. the assessment of network efficiency from a resilience perspective. This work complements, on the one hand, the work carried out in the COSYS/GRETTIA and COSYS/LICIT laboratories on the development of resilience monitoring and regulation platforms and, on the other hand, research and development at the VEDECOM institute on the impact of replacement vehicle services on disruption management, particularly through system resilience and reliability
