IntroductionTubuloreticular inclusions (TRI) were first reported in patients with herpesvirus encephalitis or systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). TRI are abnormal subcellular structures which consist of fine irregularly branched, anastomosing tubules within cisternae of endoplasmic reticulum.
