Der Tumor Nekrose Faktor-α (TNF-α) ist ein pleiotrop wirksames Zytokin, das eine zentrale Rolle bei entzündlichen Prozessen spielt. Ziel der vorgelegten Promotionsarbeit war zu untersuchen, ob und wie TNF-α zu Entzündungsgeschehen, ausgelöst durch exogene und endogene Faktoren, beiträgt.
