In this paper, we focus on the self-supervised learning of visual correspondence using unlabeled videos in the wild. Our method simultaneously considers intra- and inter-video representation associations for reliable correspondence estimation. The intra-video learning transforms the image contents across frames within a single video via the frame pair-wise affinity. To obtain the discriminative representation for instance-level separation, we go beyond the intra-video analysis and construct the inter-video affinity to facilitate the contrastive transformation across different videos. By forcing the transformation consistency between intra- and inter-video levels, the fine-grained correspondence associations are well preserved and the instance-level feature discrimination is effectively reinforced. Our simple framework outperforms the recent self-supervised correspondence methods on a range of visual tasks including video object tracking (VOT), video object segmentation (VOS), pose keypoint tracking, etc. It is worth mentioning that our method also surpasses the fully-supervised affinity representation (e.g., ResNet) and performs competitively against the recent fully-supervised algorithms designed for the specific tasks (e.g., VOT and VOS).

Video compression has become especially important nowadays with the increase of data transmitted over transmission channels, the reducing the size of the videos must be done without affecting the quality of the video. This process is done by cutting the video thread into frames of specific lengths and converting them into a three-dimensional matrix. The proposed compression scheme uses the traditional red-green-blue color space representation and applies a three-dimensional discrete Fourier transform (3D-DFT) or three-dimensional discrete wavelet transform (3D-DWT) to the signal matrix after converted the video stream to three-dimensional matrices. The resulting coefficients from the transformation are encoded using the EZW encoder algorithm. Three main criteria by which the performance of the proposed video compression system will be tested; Compression ratio (CR), peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and processing time (PT). Experiments showed high compression efficiency for videos using the proposed technique with the required bit rate, the best bit rate for traditional video compression. 3D discrete wavelet conversion has a high frame rate with natural spatial resolution and scalability through visual and spatial resolution Beside the quality and other advantages when compared to current conventional systems in complexity, low power, high throughput, low latency and minimum the storage requirements. All proposed systems implement using MATLAB R2020b.

Related research on community videos commonly limited in the social domain. This may happen because making video community is not classified as work of art, but rather as a tool to convey messages on community organizing method. Video4Change (v4c) project here consist different organizations in four countries; Indonesia, India, America and Israel. The review of videos conducted in textual and visual ethnography. This method used to specify all the things captured in the sense, the visual, the voice (audio) and the symbol on each video. Video as a medium in the postmodernism era considered as an illusion and simulation, now has more authority. Video build new structures and functions that transformed from mere aesthetic imagery into practical media with particular meanings. The video made by common people has been taking control of society to understanding the images by interpret it. This research attempts to trace and shift the study of community video from the perspective of art, vice versa from what have done before. However, the video as a tool has particular rules and approach to effectively deliver ‘text’ or message in visual language. This study expected to be a reference in a cultural context that comes from the artistic perspective. The analysis will shift the meaning of aesthetic perspective that could be transforming into practical solution-based. Beyond that, this study is able to see how the perspective transforms as the co modification of art in society changes.

Exploring the content of a video is typically inefficient due to the linear streamed nature of its media and the lack of interactivity. While different approaches have been proposed for enhancing the exploration experience of video content, the general view of video content has remained basically the same, that is, a continuous stream of images. It is our contention that such a conservative view on video limits its potential value as a content source. This paper presents An Alternative Representation of Video via feature Extraction (RAAVE), a novel approach to transform videos from a linear stream of content into an adaptive interactive multimedia document and thereby enhance the exploration potential of video content by providing a more engaging user experience. We explore the idea of viewing video as a diverse multimedia content source, opening new opportunities and applications to explore and consume video content. A modular framework and algorithm for the representation engine and template collection is described. The representation engine based approach is evaluated through development of a prototype system grounded on the design of the proposed approach, allowing users to perform multiple content exploration tasks within a video. The evaluation demonstrated RAAVE’s ability to provide users with a more engaging, efficient and effective experience than a typical multimedia player while performing video exploration tasks.

This work focuses on a method to hide images in videos in a manner that the secret image can be losslessly recovered from the target image with minimal distortion. This lossless recovery can be done by using Reversible Data Hiding (RDH). To ensure the privacy of the video owner, the target media is encrypted before applying RDH. Reversible Image Transformation (RIT) is a framework used to ensure that. Audio Steganography techniques are used for further encryption. This can be used in cloud technology so that the cloud may add information into the target video without compromising its integrity. RDH also has other possible applications in the field of military, defence and medicine.

Predicting the relevance between two given videos with respect to their visual content is a key component for content-based video recommendation and retrieval. The application is in video recommendation, video annotation, Category or near-duplicate video retrieval, video copy detection and so on. In order to estimate video relevance previous works utilize textual content of videos and lead to poor performance. The proposed method is feature re-learning for video relevance prediction. This work focus on the visual contents to predict the relevance between two videos. A given feature is projected into a new space by an affine transformation. Different from previous works this use a standard triplet ranking loss that optimize the projection process by a novel negative-enhanced triplet ranking loss. In order to generate more training data, propose a data augmentation strategy which works directly on video features. The multi-level augmentation strategy works for video features, which benefits the feature relearning. The proposed augmentation strategy can be flexibly used for frame-level or video-level features. The loss function that consider the absolute similarity of positive pairs and supervise the feature re-learning process and a new formula for video relevance computation.

The development of video steganography has put forward a higher demand for video steganalysis. This paper presents a novel steganalysis against discrete cosine/sine transform (DCT/DST)-based steganography for high efficiency video coding (HEVC) videos. The new steganalysis employs special frames extraction (SFE) and accordion unfolding (AU) transformation to target the latest DCT/DST domain HEVC video steganography algorithms by merging temporal and spatial correlation. In this article, the distortion process of DCT/DST-based HEVC steganography is firstly analyzed. Then, based on the analysis, two kinds of distortion, the intra-frame distortion and the inter-frame distortion, are mainly caused by DCT/DST-based steganography. Finally, to effectively detect these distortions, an innovative method of HEVC steganalysis is proposed, which gives a combination feature of SFE and a temporal to spatial transformation, AU. The experiment results show that the proposed steganalysis performs better than other methods.

The objective of this work is to propose a novel idea of transforming temporal redundancies present in videos. Initially, the frames are divided into sub-blocks. Then, the temporally redundant blocks are grouped together thus generating new frames with spatially redundant temporal data. The transformed frames are given to compression in the wavelet domain. This new approach greatly reduces the computational time. The reason is that the existing video codecs use block matching methods for motion estimation which is a time consuming process. The proposed method avoids the use of block matching method. The existing H.264/AVC takes approximately one hour to compress a video file where as the proposed method takes only one minute for the same task. The experimental results substantially proved that the proposed method performs better than the existing H.264/AVC standard in terms of time, compression ratio and PSNR.

Within the nearshore area, three wave transformation domains can be distinguished based on the wave properties: shoaling, surf, and swash zones. The identification of these distinct areas is relevant for understanding nearshore wave propagation properties and physical processes, as these zones can be related, for instance, to different types of sediment transport. This work presents a technique to automatically retrieve the nearshore wave transformation domains from images taken by coastal video monitoring stations. The technique exploits the pixel intensity variation of image acquisitions, and relates the pixel properties to the distinct wave characteristics. This allows the automated description of spatial and temporal extent of shoaling, surf, and swash zones. The methodology was proven to be robust, and capable of spotting the three distinct zones within the nearshore, both cross-shore and along-shore dimensions. The method can support a wide range of coastal studies, such as nearshore hydrodynamics and sediment transport. It can also allow a faster and improved application of existing video-based techniques for wave breaking height and depth-inversion, among others.

Aiming at the wide color gamut feature of the Laser TV, Color gamut transform using matrix transformations is proposed.And the conversion results are optimized by using median filtering.the theory of the median filtering and matrix transformation is introduced in this paper. Gamut conversion model of laser video signal is built based on FPGA.The function and realization of each model in the circuit is analyzed and the simulation test is conducted finally. The results verify that gamut conversion algorithm can convert the fluorescent domain video signal to the laser-domain video signal. The color video signal can reappear in the Laser TV clearly.

As a kind of network video in the new media environment, videos with commercial advertisements are developed on the Bilibili video platform, which mostly refers to a series of actions taken by Uploader for livelihood (This kind of advertisement is specially named as "Qiafan" video). It is the transformation of video creators from pure interest in making video to actual profitable work. This paper focuses on the presentation of video content with commercial advertisements in Bilibili, from the creator's perspective, through typical case studies and content analysis, it is found that this type of video has the characteristics of originality, stratification (Circle nature) and perceptual similarity. According to the video construction and expression strategy, it can be divided into six content presentation methods. Different ways will directly affect the user ' s sensory and communication effect of video advertising.

Purpose This paper aims to explore the potential for instructional video to build capacity in culturally responsive teaching, and outline an approach developed at NYU’s Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and the Transformation of Schools (Metro Center) for using inquiry-based, teacher-led teams to study, develop and film culturally responsive teaching in action. The paper explores the use of instructional video in an asset-focused model of professional development that develops culturally responsive teaching through digital videos that can be shared among colleagues, posted online and presented at professional conferences. Design/methodology/approach The primary aims of the paper are conceptual and include drawing on a review of the literature on instructional video to map onto one model of professional development the learning goals and reflective activities that are most likely to develop the potential of instructional video to change beliefs and develop critical consciousness, and providing anecdotal evidence to explore the potential for using instructional video in an asset-focused, transformative and responsive model of professional development in culturally responsive teaching. Findings Instructional video can be effective for professional development in culturally responsive teaching because people often need to see transformations in teaching and learning before they can believe such transformations are possible. Instructional videos of effective culturally responsive teaching, in this manner, highlight best practices and provide a way for schools to post an “early win” in their work in addressing achievement gaps. Practical implications Instructional video can assist educators in confronting and challenging prevailing deficit-based beliefs about ostensibly “low-achieving” students that limit possibilities for culturally responsive teaching; opening up opportunities for transformative learning and inviting the shift to a culturally responsive mindset; and examining and discussing models of excellent teaching. This model of professional development is asset-focused and transformative because it moves teacher voices from margin to center and empowers teachers as models and stewards of transformative learning. Originality/value Although numerous studies have documented the potential of instructional video in asset-focused and transformative models of professional development, only two studies explore the potential of instructional video specifically in the development of culturally responsive teaching (Lopez, 2013; Rosaen, 2015). This paper contributes to this nascent literature through documenting an approach to instructional video that was developed for and with teachers at a K-8 public school in Brooklyn.

In this article, we propose an integrity preservation analysis scheme of video contents working on the blockchain systems. The proposed scheme stores the core points of video contents analysis in the blockchain system permanently so that any user can easily verify the results of the proposed analysis procedure and their reliability. The scheme first examines the codec software characteristics of digital camera devices and video editing tools in advance, and stores them in the blockchain systems. Next, the scheme extracts the codec software characteristic from the target video file and compares it with the prepared characteristics in the blockchain system. With a matched characteristic, the scheme finds out the source camera device or the source video editing tool that generates the target video file. We also propose an integrity preservation trace scheme to record the transformation history of video contents into the blockchain systems. This scheme compares the original video and its transformed video frame by frame, and stores the comparison result with a hash value of the transformed video in the blockchain system. Then, the integrity analysis and transformation history of the target file can be easily searched in the blockchain system, where the hash value of the video file is used as the index of searching operation. We implement the proposed scheme into a practical tool upon a commercial blockchain system, Klaytn. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme carries out the integrity analysis of video contents with 100% accuracy, and provides the transformation history of non-original video contents with 100% accuracy when a proper parameter is given. It is also shown that the proposed scheme completes the integrity analysis within at most one second, and the search operation for transformation history within at most four seconds.

The results of the study of video poetry as a genre are presented. The object of analysis is Ukrainian video poetry, created within the projects CYCLOP (Ukraine), "Overcoming Silence" (Ella Yevtushenko, Daryna Gladun, Lesyk Panasyuk, and others), #DigitalShevchenko, "Power of Speech", "Subjective" (Sofia Bezverkha and Marichka Yarmola), "rosdilovi" (Olga Mykhailyuk and Serhiy Zhadan), "By the way" (Natalia Parshchyk, etc.), ZEBRA festival (Germany). Ukrainian video poetry has been developing since the 2000s and was first presented as part of the CYCLOP festival, which became both a venue for a video poetry competition and a platform for theoretical discussions. The significance of poetic intonation and the interaction of reader and author in video poetry is described. Genre features of video poetry are established, and also types of genre transformation are allocated. It has been proved that video poetry is a syncretic multimedia genre, which combines verbal and nonverbal components. The verbal component is the voice of the reader or poet, as well as the melody that complements them. The non-verbal component is based on the development of a visual metaphor or game plot, it also expresses the perception of images, metaphors, etc. poem. The movement of frames in video poetry is based either on the metric-rhythmic identity of the poem (and the melody that accompanies the reading of poetry) and the video sequence, or the dissonance between the verbal and nonverbal components. Genre features of video poetry can be described as a combination of kinetic images, sound, visual metaphors, the voice of the reader, melody, and others. Genre transformations of video poetry are defined through the creation through animation, feature film script, improvisational transformation, and interaction between different arts or the use of digital technology. It is determined that an important aspect of video poetry is the interaction of the author and the recipient. Watching video poetry, on the one hand, actualizes the associations (verbal and nonverbal) in the memory of the recipient, on the other – enhances the aesthetic experience of perception of the work. It gives a powerful aesthetic and emotional effect.

There are plenty of domains as far as research in social media is concerned; Social Network, Video social media, image social media, research/ professional social media and so on. In the present work, we have focused on YouTube which is one of the pioneering amongst video social media. We have modeled the popularity dynamics of YouTube videos based on the information spread amongst the netizens and the number of subscribers for a particular video. An alternative approach to reach to our proposal has also been provided. In practice, the pace of the spread of information might vary because of various reasons such as quality of information, word of mouth, social causes etc. This transformation has been inculcated in the aforesaid modeling and results obtained on the view-count data sets of YouTube videos are very promising.

Subject of study: technologies implemented in modern video coding algorithms to ensure the appropriate level of reliability in the conditions of their compact presentation. The goal is to develop a technology for transforming the alphabet of a video information based on a quantitative criterion while ensuring the required quality in networks. Objectives: to formulate requirements to video images in dynamic video surveillance systems; to analyze the existing factors leading to an imbalance between the compression and quality characteristics of existing video coding algorithms; to develop a technology for transforming the alphabet of a video information based on a quantitative criterion (attribute) for the best presentation of the encoded data; to develop a mathematical model for the formation of a quantitativeindicator for the transformation of the video images; to analyze the effectiveness of using the developed mathematical model for the formation of a quantitative indicator to provide the required trustworthiness of data for the video information resource; to assess the effectiveness of the developed technology for transforming the original message in terms of a quantitative indicator to ensure the best presentation of the encoded data; to investigate the dynamics of the probabilistic and statistical characteristics of the original message as a result of transformation according to the quantitative criterion of the significance of the elements. The research methods: compression coding methods implemented on the basis of the JPEG algorithms. The research results: a new approach has been proposed based on the transformation of the encoded alphabet of data by use of a quantitative criterion. A mathematical model has been developed for the formation of a quantitative attributethat determines the significance of the elements of the original message. Conclusions. A technology has been developed for transforming the alphabet of the original message, which allows creating conditions for a more profitable presentation of the encoded data due to a significant increase in the dynamic range of probabilistic and statistical characteristics for the transformed message while ensuring the required level of video image quality.

The coverless steganography based on video has become a research hot spot recently. However, the existing schemes usually hide secret information based on the single-frame feature of video and do not take advantage of other rich features. In this work, we propose a novel coverless steganography, which makes full use of the audio and frame image features of the video. First, three features are extracted to obtain hash bit sequences, which include DWT (discrete wavelet transform) coefficients and short-term energy of audio and the SIFT (scale-invariant feature transformation) feature of frame images. Then, we build a retrieval database according to the relationship between the generated bit sequences and three features of the corresponding videos. The sender divides the secret information into segments and sends the corresponding retrieval information and carrier videos to the receiver. The receiver can use the retrieval information to recover the secret information from the carrier videos correspondingly. The experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve larger capacity, less time cost, higher hiding success rate, and stronger robustness compared with the existing coverless steganography schemes based on the video.

Based on the theory of Three-dimensional Transformation of Eco-translatology proposed by Professor Hu Gengshen, this paper analyzes the subtitle translation of the short video The "Story of Spring" in Xiong’an, aiming to explore how to apply the approach of translation adaptation in different cultural backgrounds from the three dimensions of language, culture, and communication to improve the quality of video subtitle translation. Through the case study of short video subtitle translation from the perspective of Eco-translatology, this paper tries to provide some constructive suggestions for researchers and translators in related areas.

This study explored the impact Artificial Intelligence (AI) has on the evaluation of creative elements in artistic videos. The aim was to verify to what extent the use of an AI algorithm (Style Transfer) contributes to changes in the perceived creativity of the videos. Creativity was evaluated in six quantitative items (Likert-type scale) and one qualitative question (qualitative description of the creativity expressed in the video by two words or expressions). Six videos were shown to both control (N = 49) and experimental group (N = 52) aiming at determining possible differences in creativity assessment criteria. Furthermore, both groups contained experts (Experimental, N = 27; Control, N = 25) and non-experts (Experimental, N = 25; Control, N = 24). The first round of videos composed of six videos that were the same for both the experimental and control condition (used to check for bias). No significant differences were found. In a second round, six videos were shown with AI transformation (experimental condition) and without that transformation (control group). Results showed that in two cases the perceived creativity increased in experimental condition, in one case a decrease occurred. In most evaluations no differences were observed. Qualitative evaluations reinforce the absence of a general pattern of improvements in AI transformations. Altogether, the results emphasize the importance of human mediation in the application of AI in creative production: a hybrid approach, or rather, Hybrid Intelligence.

Background Increased digitalization of hospitals is a goal for national and regional health strategies. Since 2019, it has been an explicit goal to increase the use of virtual consultation with hospital patients. Two years after the start of the pandemic, virtual consultation for hospital patients has increased. At Odense University Hospital (OUH), we have seen a 30% and 337% increase in the annual number of telephone and video consultations with patients, respectively. However, the annual number of video consultations is still below 1% of the total number of outpatient visits. Objective This presentation describes challenges that may explain the slow implementation of telemedicine at OUH and how these challenges are handled in practice. Methods The description is based on 12 meetings with hospital managers and staff at OUH. Analysis of the content of the meetings has been condensed into the major themes specified in the results. Results Three main challenges have been found: (1) uncertainty regarding the quality of telemedicine interventions, (2) uncertainty regarding the technical and communicative skills needed to do video consultation, and (3) misunderstandings regarding the economic consequences of telemedicine. To address the uncertainty among our staff toward the clinical quality of telemedicine, a database including randomized trials of telemedicine interventions described in the PubMed database from 2010-2022 was produced. The database shows that more than 96% of interventions results in similar or improved clinical outcomes for selected patient groups. To ensure the skills needed by the hospital staff to do video consultation, we have offered courses in the technical and communicative aspects of video consultation to interested departments. Finally, some members of our staff believe that reducing the number of physical visits may reduce the hospital budget, which is contrary to the actual financial agreements with capitation payment. To address this misunderstanding, information about the true economic consequences of implementing telemedicine has been provided. Conclusions Successful implementation of telemedicine requires more than solid evidence; it also requires initiatives focusing on the challenges among the hospital staff. The short video industry has overgrown due to the digital transformation of media communication. The dissemination of short videos has led to the "two-way communication" of rural regional culture in the state and abroad. Many scholars have conducted in-depth studies on short video dissemination and discourse expression. On the basis of these studies, this paper takes Xi Jinping's important statement on the development of media integration and the construction of regional culture as the core point. This paper mainly adopts the literature analysis method. The study shows that rural short videos, as the leading force in the era of We-Media, connect local culture and local specialties through the Internet and contribute to the revitalization of the countryside in the fields of culture and economy. At the same time, media reality interacts with social reality through short rural videos, which perpetuates the rural memory of the public. The research suggests that short video creators should improve their own quality and optimize short video content. Creators should also pay attention to the use of expressions in line with the norms of public discourse in short videos, so as to achieve a positive interaction between media reality and social reality.

Privacy is a big concern in current video surveillance systems. Due to privacy issues, many strategic places remain unmonitored leading to security threats. The main problem with existing privacy protection methods is that they assume availability of accurate region of interest (RoI) detectors that can detect and hide the privacy sensitive regions such as faces. However, the current detectors are not fully reliable, leading to breaches in privacy protection. In this paper, we propose a privacy protection method that adopts adaptive data transformation involving the use of selective obfuscation and global operations to provide robust privacy even with unreliable detectors. Further, there are many implicit privacy leakage channels that have not been considered by researchers for privacy protection. We block both implicit and explicit channels of privacy leakage. Experimental results show that the proposed method incurs 38% less distortion of the information needed for surveillance in comparison to earlier methods of global transformation; while still providing near-zero privacy loss.

The subject of research in the article are the processes of video image processing using an orthogonal transformation for data transmission in information and telecommunication networks. The aim is to build a method of compression of video images while maintaining the efficiency of its delivery at a given informative probability. That will allow to provide a gain in the time of delivery of compressed video images, a necessary level of availability and authenticity at transfer of video data with preservation of strictly statistical regulations and the controlled loss of quality. Task: to study the known algorithms for selective processing of static video at the stage of approximation and statistical coding of the data based on JPEG-platform. The methods used are algorithm based on JPEG-platform, methods of approximation by orthogonal transformation of information blocks, arithmetic coding. It is a solution of scientific task-developed methods for reducing the computational complexity of transformations (compression and decompression) of static video images in the equipment for processing visual information signals, which will increase the efficiency of information delivery.The following results were obtained. The method of video image compression with preservation of the efficiency of its delivery at the set informative probability is developed. That will allow to fulfill the set requirements at the preservation of structural-statistical economy, providing a gain in time to bring compressed images based on the developed method, relative to known methods, on average up to 2 times. This gain is because with a slight difference in the compression ratio of highly saturated images compared to the JPEG-2000 method, for the developed method, the processing time will be less by at least 34%.Moreover, with the increase in the volume of transmitted images and the data transmission speed in the communication channel - the gain in the time of delivery for the developed method will increase. Here, the loss of quality of the compressed/restored image does not exceed 2% by RMS, or not worse than 45 dB by PSNR. What is unnoticeable to the human eye.Conclusions. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is as follows: for the first time the method of classification (separate) coding (compression) of high-frequency and low-frequency components of Walsh transformants of video images is offered and investigated, which allows to consider their different dynamic range and statistical redundancy reduced using arithmetic coding. This method will allow to ensure the necessary level of availability and authenticity when transmitting video data, while maintaining strict statistical statistics.Note that the proposed method fulfills the set tasks to increase the efficiency of information delivery. Simultaneously, the method for reducing the time complexity of the conversion of highly saturated video images using their representation by the transformants of the discrete Walsh transformation was further developed. It is substantiated that the perspective direction of improvement of methods of image compression is the application of orthogonal transformations on the basis of integer piecewise-constant functions, and methods of integer arithmetic coding of values of transformant transformations.It is substantiated that the joint use of Walsh transformation and arithmetic coding, which reduces the time of compression and recovery of images; reduces additional statistical redundancy. To further increase the degree of compression, a classification coding of low-frequency and high-frequency components of Walsh transformants is developed. It is shown that an additional reduction in statistical redundancy in the arrays of low-frequency components of Walsh transformants is achieved due to their difference in representation. Recommendations for the parameters of the compression method for which the lowest value of the total time of information delivery is provided are substantiated.

Abstract Data security is vital for multimedia communication. A number of cryptographic algorithms have been developed for the secure transmission of text and image data. Very few contributions have been made in the area of video encryption because of the large input data size and time constraints. However, due to the massive increase in digital media transfer within networks, the security of video data has become one of the most important features of network reliability. Block encryption techniques and 1D-chaotic maps have been previously used for the process of video encryption. Although the results obtained by using 1D-chaotic maps were quite satisfactory, the approach had many limitations as these maps have less dynamic behavior. To overcome these drawbacks, this article proposes an Intertwining Logistic Map (ILM)-Cosine transformation-based video encryption technique. The first step involved segmenting the input video into multiple frames based on the frames per second (FPS) value and the length of the video. Next, each frame was selected, and the correlation among the pixels was reduced by a process called permutation/scrambling. In addition, each frame was rotated by 90° in the anticlockwise direction to induce more randomness into the encryption process. Furthermore, by using an approach called the random order substitution technique, changes were made in each of the images, row-wise and column-wise. Finally, all the encrypted frames were jumbled according to a frame selection key and were joined to generate an encrypted video, which was the output delivered to the user. The efficiency of this method was tested based on the state of various parameters like Entropy, Unified Average Change in Intensity (UACI), and correlation coefficient (CC). The presented approach also decrypts the encrypted video, and the decryption quality was checked using parameters such as mean square error (MSE) and peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR).

This article is the result of a research related to Asynchronous digital-based learning in speaking skill through instagram. This study aims to determine the transformation of Asynchronous digital-based learning and to analyze the students' speaking skill using the assessment rubric that has been designed. The data were collected through oral practice in the form of videos related to the theme Freizeitbeschäftigung / Hobby. Each student was asked to upload a 2-3 minute video and comment on two videos of other students. The results of this study indicated that the assessment rubric covered the fulfillment of tasks and pronunciation. All the given assignment points were fulfilled quite well, although there were six students who still made grammatical errors. The pronunciation ability of seven students was very good, while the other seven students were still influenced by Indonesian accent. Students' comments regarding other students’ videos were varied and positive. Students gave supportive comments to motivate each other in doing their work and they did not have any difficulties in using instagram. Despite advanced machine learning methods, the implementation of emotion recognition systems based on real-world video content remains challenging. Videos may contain data such as images, audio, and text. However, the application of multimodal models using two or more types of data to real-world video media (CCTV, illegally filmed content, etc.) lacking sound or subtitles is difficult. Although facial expressions in image sequences can be utilized in emotion recognition, the diverse identities of individuals in real-world content limits computational models of relationships between facial expressions. This study proposed a transformation model which employed a video vision transformer to focus on facial expression sequences in videos. It effectively understood and extracted facial expression information from the identities of individuals, instead of fusing multimodal models. The design entailed capture of higher-quality facial expression information through mixed-token embedding facial expression sequences augmented via various methods into a single data representation, and comprised two modules: spatial and temporal encoders. Further, temporal position embedding, focusing on relationships between video frames, was proposed and subsequently applied to the temporal encoder module. The performance of the proposed algorithm was compared with that of conventional methods on two emotion recognition datasets of video content, with results demonstrating its superiority.

The problem of compression of high-resolution streaming video for transmission over low-speed satellite communication channels of small spacecraft is considered. It has been determined that the specificity of using small spacecraft in low orbits, on the one hand, imposes a number of restrictions on weight and size characteristics and energy consumption, on the other hand, it opens up new opportunities for obtaining high-resolution visual information. Approaches to real-time video data compression are considered, which make it possible to implement a subminiature encoder in the “system-onchip” basis. A coding method based on the complex principles of AV1 coding and multidimensional spatial transformation is proposed. The practical attainability of the developed method and algorithms is shown. The ways of developing the method and creating a video data compression system are proposed.

The increasing flow of photo and video information transmitted through the channels of infocommunication systems and complexes stimulates the search for effective compression algorithms that can significantly reduce the volume of transmitted traffic, while maintaining its quality. In the general case, the compression algorithms are based on the operations of converting the correlated brightness values of the pixels of the image matrix into their uncorrelated parameters, followed by encoding the obtained conversion coefficients. Since the main known decorrelating transformations are quasi-optimal, the task of finding transformations that take into account changes in the statistical characteristics of compressed video data is still relevant. These circumstances determined the direction of the study, related to the analysis of the decorrelating properties of the generated wavelet coefficients obtained as a result of multi-scale image transformation. The main result of the study was to establish the fact that the wavelet coefficients of the multi-scale transformation have the structure of nested matrices defined as submatrices. Therefore, it is advisable to carry out the correlation analysis of the wavelet transformation coefficients separately for the elements of each submatrix at each level of decomposition (decomposition). The main theoretical result is the proof that the core of each subsequent level of the multi-scale transformation is a matrix consisting of the wavelet coefficients of the previous level of decomposition. It is this fact that makes it possible to draw a conclusion about the dependence of the corresponding elements of neighboring levels. In addition, it has been found that there is a linear relationship between the wavelet coefficients within the local area of ​​the image with a size of 8×8 pixels. In this case, the maximum correlation of submatrix elements is directly determined by the form of their representation, and is observed between neighboring elements located, respectively, in a row, column or diagonally, which is confirmed by the nature of the scattering. The obtained results were confirmed by the analysis of samples from more than two hundred typical images. At the same time, it is substantiated that between the low-frequency wavelet coefficients of the multi-scale transformation of the upper level of the expansion, approximately the same dependences are preserved uniformly in all directions. The practical significance of the study is determined by the fact that all the results obtained in the course of its implementation confirm the presence of characteristic dependencies between the wavelet transform coefficients at different levels of image decomposition. This fact indicates the possibility of achieving higher compression ratios of video data in the course of their encoding. The authors associate further research with the development of a mathematical model for adaptive arithmetic coding of video data and images, which takes into account the correlation properties of wavelet coefficients of a multi-scale transformation.

The methodology consists of the application of such general scientific methods as: synthesis, analysis, generalization, comparison, which allowed to explore the features of the genre of television interview in the context of social communications, as well as the transformation processes of the genre. The scientific novelty of the work is that the article clarifies the place and role of television interviews in the mass media, outlines the transformational processes of the studied genre, substantiates the "migration" of the TV interview genre to the online platform YouTube, also comprehends the new principle of using the TV genre. interviews - as part of author's programs using infotainment techniques. Conclusions. Recently, due to the rapid growth of the Internet, YouTube has become the largest user-friendly online video hosting service that allows users to share video content. You can also create your own video content with YouTube. YouTube allows you to interact with other users through the exchange of textual information through comments, to be in contact with a large number of people who are interested in similar issues. YouTube easily syncs with popular social networks, further disseminating information. Modern television is deprived of all this. Therefore, social networks such as YouTube, create new social dynamics and play a special role in disseminating information, as well as cause the transformation processes of certain genres.

Intelligent video surveillance environments enable the gathering of various types of information about the object being recorded, through the analysis of real-time video data collected from CCTV systems and the automated processing that utilize the information. However, the surveillance environments face the risks of privacy exposure, which necessitates secure countermeasures. Video meta-data, in particular, contain various types of personal information that is analyzed based on big data and are thus fraught with high levels of confidentiality breaches. Despite such risks, it is not appropriate to implement encryption for video meta-data considering the efficiency issue. This paper proposes a character order preserving (COP)-transformation technique that allows the secure protection of video meta-data. The proposed technique has the merits of preventing the recovery of original meta information through meta transformation and allowing direct queries on the data transformed, increasing significantly both security and efficiency in the video meta-data processing.

Insufficient and poor lightning conditions affect the quality of videos and images captured by the camcorders. The low quality images decrease the performances of computer vision systems in smart traffic, video surveillance, and other imaging systems applications. In this paper, combined gray level transformation technique is proposed to enhance the less quality of illuminated images. This technique is composed of log transformation, power law transformation and adaptive histogram equalization process to improve the low light illumination image estimated using HIS color model. Finally, the enhanced illumination image is blended with original reflectance image to get enhanced color image. This paper shows that the proposed algorithm on various weakly illuminated images is enhanced better and has taken reduced computation time than previous image processing techniques.

UAV Video is rapidly emerging as a widely used source of imagery for many applications in recent years. This paper presents our research on the mosaic of UAV video for the purpose of harbor surveillance. First, one new framework on estimating video frame transformation with Optical flow is presented in this paper. For this new framework, fewer number of Gaussian pyramid is created for implementing for the multiresolution approach and thus, more details for optical flow computation is well kept; Second, we make a discussion on using Fourier-Mellin Transformation in image frequency domain to estimate initial motion parameter of adjacent video frames and with those initial motion parameters, small displacements for optical flow computation can be achieved; The experimental results demonstrated that the mosaic image generated from aerial video shows satisfied visual quality and its surveillance application for fast response to time-critical event, e.g., flood, is descried.
