Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), formerly called Wegener's granulomatosis, is a rare systemic disease of unknown etiology that can affect all areas of the body, including the oral cavity. Wegener's granulomatosis is a rare multi-system disease characterized by the classic triad of necrotizing granulomas affecting the upper and lower respiratory tracts, disseminated vasculitis and glomerulonephritis.
