Introduction : Although it has received several criticisms, which is considered to be the most effective method used for global assessment of morbid obesity surgical treatment, still needs to be updated. Objective : Critical analysis of BAROS constitution and method. Method : BAROS as headings was searched in literature review using data from the main bariatric surgery journals until 2009. Results : Where found and assessed 121 papers containing criticisms on BAROS constitution and methodology. It has some failures and few researches show results on the use of this instrument, although it is still considered a standard method. Several authors that used it found imperfections in its methodology and suggested some changes addressed to improving its acceptance, showing the need of developing new methods to qualify the bariatric surgery results. Conclusion: BAROS constitution has failures and its methodology needs to be updated.

BACKGROUND: The obesity is an universal disease of epidemic proportions and in a growing prevalence. It is one of the main public health problems and it will be inexorably the largest problem of the developing world. The morbid obesity is associated to serious diseases, reducing the life perspective, increasing the morbility and mortality. Several strategies of losing weight were proposed; however, the bariatric surgeries are today the most effective treatment for this disease. The BAROS is the most simple, practical and efficient method to evaluate the results in the bariatric surgeries. AIM: To compare five surgical techniques for the treatment of morbid obesity using BAROS. METHOD: The sample is constituted of 102 patients submitted to Fobi-Capella (23 patients), Scopinaro (21 patients), duodenal switch (20 patients), vertical banded gastroplasty of Mason (15 patients) and the adjustable gastric band (23 patients), evaluated 12 months after the surgeries using BAROS. RESULTS: The analysis of the final result of BAROS for the classification demonstrated that good, very good and excellent results were obtained in 100% of the patients in the group of duodenal switch; 91,3% in Fobi-Capella; 85,7% in Scopinaro; 60% in Mason; and 56,5% in adjustable gastric band. The final result of BAROS for the total score demonstrated that the group of duodenal switch obtained 6,3 points; the Fobi-Capella 5,1 points; the Scopinaro 4,8 points; the Mason 3,0 points; and the adjustable gastric band 2,9 points (p<0,0001). CONCLUSION: The duodenal switch is the best technique for the surgical treatment of the morbid obesity, in the following 12 months post-surgical clinical procedures, according to BAROS.

Various environmental problems that have occurred lately are more or less caused by the problem of garbage and waste from various activities of living things, especially humans. Therefore, good waste management is one of the solutions to current environmental problems. One of the main problems faced by partners is plastic waste management. Based on a preliminary field study conducted by the team, it was found that until now there had been no waste management activities carried out by the residents of Baros Village, both plastic waste management related to waste banks and plastic waste sorting. In this regard, one of the innovative solutions for plastic waste management is to apply the circular economy principle by sorting plastic waste and then managing and developing it to create a circular economy, which is recycling plastic waste into a product of economic value, so that can help people's economic life. In this case, through a circular economy approach, karang taruna gets socialization of a circular economy as a foundation in managing plastic waste. The activity began with coordination with officials in Baros Village and the board of the Setia Youth Organization, pretest, counseling, and continued with a posttest. The implementation of outreach activities is carried out online and only involves the karang taruna administrators due to the COVID-19 pandemic condition. From the results of the activities carried out, members of the karang taruna understand the importance of managing plastic waste to make it a commodity with economic value. Abstrak Berbagai permasalahan lingkungan yang terjadi belakangan ini sedikit banyak disebabkan oleh masalah sampah dan limbah dari berbagai aktivitas makhluk hidup, khususnya manusia. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan sampah yang baik merupakan salah satu solusi dari permasalahan lingkungan saat ini. Salah satu kendala utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah pengelolaan sampah plastik. Berdasarkan studi lapangan pendahuluan yang dilakukan oleh tim, diketahui hingga saat ini belum ada kegiatan pengelolaan sampah yang dilakukan oleh warga Desa Baros, baik pengelolaan sampah plastik terkait bank sampah maupun pemilahan sampah plastik. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, salah satu solusi inovatif dalam pengelolaan sampah plastik adalah dengan menerapkan prinsip ekonomi sirkular dengan memilah sampah plastik kemudian mengelola dan mengembangkannya untuk menciptakan ekonomi sirkular, yaitu mendaur ulang sampah plastik menjadi produk yang bernilai ekonomis, sehingga dapat membantu kehidupan ekonomi masyarakat. Dalam hal ini melalui pendekatan ekonomi sirkuler, karang taruna mendapatkan sosialisasi ekonomi sirkuler sebagai landasan dalam pengelolaan sampah plastik. Kegiatan diawali dengan koordinasi dengan aparat di Desa Baros dan pengurus Karang Taruna Setia, pre test, penyuluhan, dan dilanjutkan dengan post test. Pelaksanaan kegiatan penyuluhan dilakukan secara online dan hanya melibatkan pengurus karang taruna karena kondisi pandemi COVID-19. Dari hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan, anggota karang taruna memahami pentingnya pengelolaan sampah plastik untuk dijadikan komoditas yang bernilai ekonomis. Hutan mangrove merupakan sumber daya alam daerah pantai payau yang sangat potensial dan memiliki fungsi perlindungan serta pelestarian alam, tetapi sangat rentan terhadap kerusakan apabila pengelolaan dan pelestariannya kurang memadai. Di Indonesia sendiri luas hutan mangrove terus mengalami penurunan, pada tahun 1986 dilaporkan luas hutan di indonesia 3,2 juta hektar dan pada tahun 2012 hanya tersisa 1,2 juta hektar. Adanya eko eduwisata mangrove di pantai Baros, Dusun Baros, Desa Tirtohargo, Kecamatan Kretek, Kabupaten Bantul, Yogyakarta Tirtohargo diharapkan menjadi salah satu usaha untuk melestarikan mangrove dan meningkatkan kepekaan masyarakat terhadap kondisi lingkungan sekitar. Metode pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis situasi masyarakat dusun Baros, kemudian mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang timbul di masyarakat yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan konservasi mangrove dan melakukan pendekatan sosial. Pendekatan sosial pada kegiatan ini tidak hanya dilakukan oleh tim pengusung program saja tetapi dilakukan kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak seperti BAPPEDA Kabupaten Bantul, Badan Lingkungan Hidup, Dinas Pariwisata dan Pemuda Pemudi Dusun Baros (KP2B). Dengan adanya kolaborasi dari berbagai pihak diharapkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kelestarian hutan mangrove semakin meningkat.

Pantai Baros terletak di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Bantul merupakan salah satu dari kabupaten di Propinsi DIY yang memiliki ekosistem mangrove. Tanaman mangrove diharapkan dapat mengurangi ancaman intrusi air laut, ancaman gelombang tsunami dan dampak gangguan angin laut yang mengancam pertanian masyarakat. Penanaman mangrove di Pantai Baros ini di masa yang akan datang prospeknya sangatlah besar bagi kemakmuran warga masyarakat sekitar asalkan mulai dari sekarang dimanfaatkan dengan benar. Terdapat peluang besar pengembangan kemakmuran masyarakat sekitar yaitu pengembangan wisata alam pantai yang sekaligus dapat berfungsi sebagai pusat pendidikan lingkungan pesisir di Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan KKN PPM ini partisipatif masyarakat dan pihak terkait. Dalam hal ini, secara teknis semua kebijakan dan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan selama KKN PPM ini selalu berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah daerah setempat, dalam hal ini Bappeda Bantul sampai dengan pemerintah desa dan melibatkan SKPD terkait. Hasil dari kegiatan KKN PPM ini adalah penyelenggaraan pelatihan SDM, pengadaan kolam terpal di 2 dusun dan keramba jaring apung di muara sungai, pengadaan bibit ikat dan pakan di 3 dusun, penanaman mangrove 1000 batang di kawasan konservasi, pengadaan solar panel atau pembangkit lisrik tenaga surya yang dipasang di pondok jaga di kawasan mangrove Pantai Baros, pembangunan green house di kawasan kandang terpadu kelompok ternak Andhini Lestari di Dusun Baros, pengadaan bibit tanaman buah dan toga di 3 dusun, pembangunan dermaga mini Pantai Baros dan jembatan bambu di kawasan konservasi, pendesainan data yang akan ditampilkan dalam website KP2B sebagai media promosi eko eduwisata mangrove, merancang dan membuat media promosi berupa brosur, pembersihan sampah di kawasan konservasi, dan pengadaan buku bacaan anak yang bertema lingkungan.

Effort teacer education pancasila and civic in estabilishment of morality student of class VIII MTs Shidiq Al Farizy Baros thisi research descriptive,qualitative, namely data, obtained likr result observe, interview, observe, dokumentation. This reserch indicates that factors that because student of MTS Shiddiq Al Farizy Baros pembiasaan, keteladanan, discus, speech, simulation ass well ass reward and punishment. Resulf from this research indicated with change in attitude and behaviour of students toward better with reflect habit obey regulation teacher when learning in the class.

Seiring pertumbuhan lalu lintas yang terus meningkat, perlu diselidiki mengenai kebutuhanpeningkatan pelayanan Simpang Susun Baros dalam rangka meningkatkan pelayanan transportasidi wilayah Cimahi. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan penentuan tingkat pelayanan ramp berdasarkanderajat kejenuhan dan memperkirakan waktu peningkatan pelayanan berdasarkan pertumbuhanlalu lintas. Penelitian dilakukan hanya pada ramp ‘6001’ dan ramp ‘6003’ yang merupakan akseskeluar Jalan Tol Pasteur. Ramp ‘6001’ memiliki tingkat pelayanan “D” pada tahun 2014 denganderajat kejenuhan sebesar 0,81. Volume lalu lintas ramp ‘6001’ diperkirakan mencapai kapasitasjalan pada tahun 2027. Ramp ‘6003’ memiliki tingkat pelayanan “B” pada tahun 2014 denganderajat kejenuhan sebesar 0,46. Volume lalu lintas ramp ‘6003’ diperkirakan mencapai kapasitasjalan pada tahun 2063

Pasar Baros merupakan pasar tradisional di Kabupaten Serang yang terletak di Kecamatan Baros, memiliki luas ±4350 m². Area parkir Pasar Baros belum tersusun dengan rapih dan tidak memenuhi kebutuhan, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan parkir penulis mencoba untuk menganalisa berapa kebutuhan ruang parkir dan bagaimana desain ruang parkir yang efektif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan survei pencatatan kendaraan sepeda motor dan mobil yang masuk dan keluar beserta lamanya parkir. Dari hasil analisa diperoleh nilai Akumulasi sepeda motor tertinggi terjadi pada hari Senin (95 kend/15 menit), sedangkan mobil (29 kend/15 menit) pada hari Senin. Volume parkir sepeda motor maksimum terjadi dihari Senin (624 kendaraan), sedangkan mobil juga terjadi dihari Senin (87 kendaraan). Durasi rata-rata parkir terlama (2 jam 47 menit) terjadi pada kendaraan mobil.Dari nilai Indeks parkir sepeda motor yang terjadi berkisar antara 63,69%-123,44%. Indeks parkir mobil 133,83%-200,83% yang melebihi angka 100% menunjukkan area ruang parkir sudah tidak mampu menampung kendaraan yang parkir. Dari hasil analisis data dengan mengacu pada Pedoman Teknis Penyelenggaraan Fasilitas Parkir dan keadaan faktual di lapangan disimpulkan bahwa rekomendasi untuk penambahan ruang parkir sepeda motor dengan luasan area parkir 257,4 m², perencanaan ruang parkir mobil dengan luas 1102,5 m² dan pemindahan tempat penampungan sampah ke area belakang pasar.

Syftet med detta arbete har varit att identifiera framförallt tillgångar i barnskännedom, förståelse och inlevelseförmåga i andra barns livsvillkor menundersökningen har även visat på vissa brister. En viktig frågeställning har varithuruvida barns egna kulturella erfarenheter och identitet påverkar deras syn på andrabarn. Därför har undersökningen utförts i två olika kulturella miljöer enmångkulturell och en med brist på mångkultur. I de båda miljöerna har jag genomförtsemistrukturerade intervjuer utifrån bilder av barn och resultatet har visat på en dellikheter och skillnader mellan de båda grupperna.

Abstract Morbid obesity is the most rapidly increasing health threat of developed countries, and the costs caused by it are already higher than those of smoking. In an increasing number of developing countries both starvation and morbid obesity are increasing simultaneously. Obesity in children and adolescents is also increasing rapidly. Conservative treatment almost invariably fails when treating morbid obesity. Results of pharmacotherapy have been disappointing after great expectations. Laparoscopic gastric banding has been used in the treatment of morbid obesity since 1993. The method was first used mostly in Europe. In the USA either an open or laparoscopic gastric bypass have been the most common methods of surgery. The aim of this study was to investigate the operation results of 280 patients operated in Vaasa Central Hospital during the 11 years after March 1996. Of these patients, 123 have been followed at least 5 years. The results have been analyzed with BAROS that measures the quality of life. Quality of life was measured prospectively 1 year after surgery with the 15D questionnaire that is validated in the Finnish population. The effect of gastric banding in esophageal motility and reflux was studied prospectively in 31 patients. Late results were analyzed in 123 patients 11 years after the first operation. Mean excess weight loss (EWL) was 56% in patients who had their band in place 7 years after surgery, and 46% in all patients. There was no mortality related to the operation, and there was only one serious complication. Disease-specific quality of life improved in 78.8% of the patients in 28 months of follow-up. Health-related quality of life was significantly improved 12 months after surgery, but improvement was not connected to the amount of weight loss. The band inhibited reflux 19 months after surgery. Complications, failures, and reoperations increase with longer follow-up. Weight loss is moderate 9 years after a gastric banding operation, and in carefully selected patients this operation is still a good option in the treatment of morbid obesity.

Detta genom att studera och undersöka ett antal utvalda grovmotoriska rörelser, var på förskolegården barnen väljer att utföra dessa grovmotoriska rörelser samt hur de utför dem. Studien vilar på en epigenetisk teorigrund som resonerar kring huruvida barns motorikutveckling är avhängig gener och arv, följer förutbestämda stadier utifrån ålder och mognad eller om miljön har någon betydelse för och inverkan på barns motoriska utveckling. Jag har genomfört en studie vars insamlade empiri och data är såväl kvalitativ som kvantitativ. Empirin har samlats in med hjälp av observationsscheman. Parallellt med utförda observationer har kompletterande fältanteckningar förts löpande. Dessa metodval har således resulterat i både kvalitativa och kvantitativa data. Under observationerna har totalt fjorton barn i åldrarna 1-5 år varit närvarande.   Studiens resultat visar att barnen ute på förskolegården i stor utsträckning väljer att utföra de observerade grovmotoriska rörelserna i naturlika miljöer. Barnen väljer att hoppa från klippväggar och klättra i klätterträd istället för att till exempel klättra på tillverkade klätterställningar som också finns tillgängliga på förskolegården. I studien framkommer även hur barnen utför de, för observation utvalda, grovmotoriska rörelserna. Utifrån det, för studien valda, teoretiska perspektivet förs diskussion om huruvida barnens olika rörelsemönster beror på ålder eller vad som annars orsakar dessa iakttagna skillnader och likheter i barnens motoriska utveckling.

Resumo:
The aim of the study was to highlight children's sleep, mainly how long children sleep at preschool but also how long their total daily rest period is. Furthermore, we examine the collaboration between guardians and educators regarding children's sleep. What we wondered was whether sleep could create a conflict between guardians and educators. The questionx that we posed were: What does children's daytime napping looks like at preschool? How do the educators treat the parents regarding the length of time that the children are allowed to sleep during the naptime? What does the knowledge of children's sleep looks like? The method we have used to collect information is a survey; one for educators who are active with the preschool's youngest children and the other for guardians with children between one to three years old. During our study we have used phenomenographic theory and analytical methods; we have also had a social constructivist approach. The answers we received during our survey shows that there is a lack of knowledge about children's sleeping needs among many of the educators and guardians. Knowledge varies and many people believe that they know what is best for the individual child, which we will explore in our analysis and results section.
