SDN is approaching its own structure of acceptance. Therefore, the increasing deployment of SDNs is being discussed as a possible approach, appearing in the development of the hybrid SDN networks. An foremost work in the hybrid SDN networks is bandwidth allocation, taking into account the integration of both SDN-enabled and conventional switches. The network loop in layer 2 switches is skipped in Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) by ceaselessly watching the network to trace all links and block the unwanted ones. Bridge loops will occur anytime there’s a redundant Layer2 way between ends. By default, switches forward broadcast/multicast out all ports, other than the port from that the broadcast/multicast was delivered. Once a switch loop is brought in the network, broadcast messages are going to be broadcasted more often leading to broadcast storms. The Spanning-tree algorithm enforces a distributed divergent of the Bellman-Ford iterative algorithm that always looks for the optimal solution and selects an optimal influential switch anytime. In this paper we use controller’s global network view for resolving loop problem in layer 2 network. SDN controller acts on broadcast packets received from switch-ports and host-ports differently that is if the broadcast packets received from host ports, the SDN controller broadcasts these packets to all ports and if broadcast packets is received from switch ports, only some switches broadcasts these packets on all ports instead of all switches.

Radio development in Jambi City is very tight so it takes the ability to keep listeners listening to broadcasts. Radio broadcasters are the spearhead in a program that must be able to entertain and exist but still prioritize the applicable broadcasting rules. This study tries to describe the application of radio broadcasting rules at D'Radio Jambi station. The study used qualitative methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on data analysis, the application of broadcasting rules by broadcaster D'Radio Jambi on the D'Viral entertainment broadcast program has been implemented well. The main broadcaster plays an important role in the success of the D'Viral program by the way it broadcasts. Entertaining and applying some broadcast rules such as Talk to one person, quality of speech, and mastery of vocabulary. Obstacles that are still faced are conveying messages, vocal technique constraints, broadcasters' ability constraints, and obstacles to knowing listeners. In general, some of the solutions that broadcasters do to overcome these obstacles are conducting broadcasting training, preparing broadcasts before broadcasting, and taking foreign language courses.

Focusing on the dual-channel supply chain with live broadcasts selling, this paper investigates the service overflow of live broadcasts with Stackelberg game perspective and the impact of retailers’ different market potentials on the pricing decisions of dual-channel members. Meanwhile, it also evaluates the pricing strategy of online retailers after introducing KOL (Key Opinion Leader) live broadcasts. The results show that when one of the dual-channel retailers adopts live broadcast sales, the live broadcast service overflow will have an adverse impact on it, but the degree of the impact depends on the market potential of supply chain members, and different power structures can be used to offset the adverse impact of live broadcast service overflow. Then, the live broadcast sales service overflow will have a certain beneficial impact on online retailers under certain circumstances. Furthermore, with the increase of live broadcast sales service overflow, the retail prices of both companies will decline, while the live broadcast sales service overflow is more beneficial for consumers.

As a natural extension of domination, we consider dominating 2-broadcasts along with the associated parameter, the dominating 2-broadcast number. We prove that computing the dominating 2-broadcast number is a NP-complete problem, but can be achieved in linear time for trees. We also give an upper bound for this parameter, that is tight for graphs as large as desired.

Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) is a radio whose broadcasts are intended for the benefit of the nation and state. In carrying out work management, the Public Broadcasting Institution (LPP) RRI Purwokerto can still be said to be not optimal enough, where the preparation and management of reports is still done manually. This causes employees in the planning and broadcaster divisions to experience difficulties when compiling a list of broadcast events. Therefore, the right solution is needed to overcome these problems, namely by designing the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of the broadcast program list application. The method used in the preparation of this research is design thinking and the use of the Figma application for UI design. The results of this study aim to provide a UI/UX design for the broadcast event list application so that it can help the preparation and management process to be faster, more efficient, and user friendly.

By using Software Defined Network (SDN) technology, senor nodes can get updated program code which can provide new features, so it has received extensive attention. How to effectively spread code to each node fast is a challenge issue in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). In this paper, an Adding Active Slot joint Larger Broadcast Radius (AAS-LBR) scheme is proposed for fast code dissemination. The AAS-LBR scheme combines the energy of data collection and code dissemination, making full use of the remaining energy in the far-sink area to increase the active slot and the broadcast radius to speed up the code dissemination. The main contributions of the proposed AAS-LBR scheme are the following: (1) Make full use of the remaining energy of the far sink area to expand the broadcast radius, so that the node broadcasts a longer distance. The wide range of broadcasts makes the number of nodes receiving code more, which speeds up the spread of code dissemination. (2) AAS-LBR uses two improved methods to further reduce the number of broadcasts and speed up the code dissemination: (a) When constructing the broadcast backbone whose nodes dominate all nodes in network and are responsible for broadcasting code, the active slot is added to the next hop node in a pipeline style on the diffusion path, which enables the code dissemination process to continue without pause. Thus, the code can quickly spread to the entire broadcast backbone. (b) For the nodes in the non-broadcast backbone whose nodes are dominated by the broadcast backbone and only for receiving code, an active slot is added coincident with its broadcast backbone’ active slot, which can reduce the time required for code dissemination and reduce the number of broadcasts. A lot of performance analysis and simulation results show that compared to previous schemed, the AAS-LBR scheme can balance energy consumption, the transmission delay can be reduced 43.09–78.69%, the number of broadcasts can be reduced 44.51–86.18% and the energy efficiency is improved by about 24.5%.

Information is now a basic need for every people, including the people in border areas. Therefore, it is an obligation for the government to provide information media that can be reached by all levels of society, one of which is FM radio broadcast media. This research aims to identify and assess the quality of FM radio broadcasts in the border area of Sambas Regency using several antenna models which in the area is a vulnerable area of signal leakage by neighbouring countries and far from Indonesian broadcast transmitters. The assessment of FM radio broadcast quality is carried out with the determination of SINPO (Signal, Interference, Noise, Propagation, Overall) values and field strength meter measurements. The data obtained were analysed using the Miles and Hubberman interactive data processing technique. From the research conducted, it was found that 10 Malaysian FM radio broadcast channels and 2 broadcast channels from Indonesia where the dominant broadcast was received better by the yagi antenna. There were also broadcasts whose frequencies fell out of compliance with the regulations.

Big brown bats transmit wideband FM biosonar sounds that sweep from 55 to 25 kHz (first harmonic, FM1) and from 110 to 50 kHz (second harmonic, FM2). FM1 is required to perceive echo delay for target ranging; FM2 contributes only if corresponding FM1 frequencies are present. We show that echoes need only the lowest FM1 broadcast frequencies of 25 to 30 kHz for delay perception. If these frequencies are removed, no delay is perceived. Bats begin echo processing at the lowest frequencies and accumulate perceptual acuity over successively higher frequencies, but they cannot proceed without the low-frequency starting point in their broadcasts. This reveals a solution to pulse-echo ambiguity, a serious problem for radar or sonar. In dense, extended biosonar scenes, bats have to emit sounds rapidly to avoid collisions with near objects. But if a new broadcast is emitted when echoes of the previous broadcast still are arriving, echoes from both broadcasts intermingle, creating ambiguity about which echo corresponds to which broadcast. Frequency hopping by several kilohertz from one broadcast to the next can segregate overlapping narrowband echo streams, but wideband FM echoes ordinarily do not segregate because their spectra still overlap. By starting echo processing at the lowest frequencies in frequency-hopped broadcasts, echoes of the higher hopped broadcast are prevented from being accepted by lower hopped broadcasts, and ambiguity is avoided. The bat-inspired spectrogram correlation and transformation (SCAT) model also begins at the lowest frequencies; echoes that lack them are eliminated from processing of delay and no longer cause ambiguity.

This paper introduces Neighbor Aware Adaptive Power flooding, an optimized flooding mechanism used in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETS) that employs several mechanisms (neighbor coverage, power control, neighbor awareness and local optimization) to limit the broadcast storm problem, reduce duplicate packet reception and lower power consumption in both transmission and reception. Upon receiving an optimized broadcast, a relay determines a new set of possible relays (to continue the flood) based upon local neighbor information and the previous optimized broadcast. Additionally, neighboring relays only consider the shared neighbors they are closest to. A relay may perform local optimization (to reduce power consumption and isolate broadcasts) by substituting one high power broadcast with two or more low power broadcasts, thereby introducing additional hops, We show that compared to blind flooding and multipoint relaying, NAAP in a static environment greatly reduces the problems associated with the broadcast storm problem, duplicate packet reception and power consumption.

In spaces where people from various countries come and go, voice guidance is often broadcast sequentially in multiple languages. However, this method is disadvantageous to users of the language broadcast later, and this problem can be particularly severe in evacuation broadcasts. In addition, the broadcast time may be too long, which may increase the annoyance/noisiness and spoil the soundscape. We propose the use of simultaneous multilingual broadcasts as a challenging method of achieving language barrier-free and saving the time required for information transmission. In the present study, we examined how many languages can be broadcast simultaneously to clarify the feasibility of the method. The intelligibility of simultaneous broadcasts of up to four languages (Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean) was examined through listening experiments. Participants were instructed to write down Japanese speech only. The experimental parameters were the arrival direction of the target/distracting speech and the background noise level. The results of the experiments suggested that broadcasting two languages simultaneously is sufficiently practical, and even three languages can be practical under certain conditions.

Every face-to-face Deliberative Poll (DP) to date has been the subject of a television broadcast. We consider these broadcasts a helpful adjunct to the design – a way of motivating both the random sample and the policy experts and policy makers to attend, of educating the broader public about the issues, and, perhaps, of nudging public opinion in the direction of the results. In ‘Rickety Bridges’, John Parkinson examines just one of these broadcasts, Channel 4's on the DP on the future of Britain's National Health Service (NHS) in 1998. Applying his coding of the contents to other DP broadcasts might or might not yield similar results, but we are happy to assume, for argument's sake, that it would. If DP broadcasts are generally doing what he describes the NHS DP broadcast as doing, they are doing pretty well, at least as far as the distribution of coverage is concerned. It is Parkinson's notion of what they should be doing that is mistaken. As a result, his critique is fundamentally misguided.THE AIMS OF DP BROADCASTSParkinson's critique rests on an inappropriate standard. His central claim is that Channel 4's broadcast of the NHS DP did not replicate the participants' experience. Of course it did not. No broadcast could ever give viewers the same experience they would have if they were actually part of the DP's on-site, weekend-long deliberations. The broadcast in that case would have to be weekend-long, and there would actually have to be multiple broadcasts – as many as there are participants – since every participant's experience is different.

The theory of media convergence is used by researchers to help understand the presence of new media on social interaction and integration with old media. The results of this study suggest that TVRI South Sulawesi utilizes the live streaming feature on three platforms, namely Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook. The transformation that has been carried out is proven by the expansion of broadcast coverage that can improve the quality of TVRI South Sulawesi's broadcast programs, namely creating new broadcast programs following the audience's interest, updating old programs, and improving the quality of TVRI South Sulawesi news. This research can contribute to further research on how media transformation can affect the development of the television industry in Indonesia by enriching broadcast content and expanding audience reach.

Broadcast encryption scheme enables a sender distribute the confidential content to a certain set of intended recipients. It has been applied in cloud computing, TV broadcasts, and many other scenarios. Inner product broadcast encryption takes merits of both broadcast encryption and inner product encryption. However, it is crucial to reduce the computation cost and to take the recipient’s privacy into consideration in the inner product broadcast encryption scheme. In order to address these problems, we focus on constructing a secure and practical inner product broadcast encryption scheme in this paper. First, we build an anonymous certificate-based inner product broadcast encryption scheme. Especially, we give the concrete construction and security analysis. Second, compared with the existing inner product broadcast encryption schemes, the proposed scheme has an advantage of anonymity. Security proofs show that the proposed scheme achieves confidentiality and anonymity against adaptive chosen-ciphertext attacks. Finally, we implement the proposed anonymous inner product broadcast encryption scheme and evaluate its performance. Test results show that the proposed scheme supports faster decryption operations and has higher efficiency.

Risk management for an institution is a necessity. It is because risk has become an integral part of the institution. For this reason, every institution, whether political, business, or social, must be appropriately managed. In that context, the study aims to find out about the form of risk management carried out by one of the independent state institutions that are trusted to broadcast, namely the Central Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI). The main theories used are Broadcasting and Risk Management. This study uses qualitative methods and is supported by field data through data collection through in-depth interviews and involved observations. The study results show that the Central KPI must manage many risks in managing media broadcasts. Among these risks are unethical advertisements and broadcast protests due to the low socialization of the Broadcasting Code of Conduct and Broadcast Program Standards and complaints from the television reading community. Therefore, the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission seeks to manage this risk through the School of Broadcasting Behavior Guidelines and Broadcast Program Standards (P3SPS) program and research on the quality of broadcast programs. With this program, stakeholders, journalists, and television broadcast media, as well as experts, are involved in schools and research. The socialization results made quality television broadcasts more enthusiastic, and finally, the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission issued the KPI award, which was given to the most ethical broadcasting institution.

Various methods of spatial redundancy can be used in local networks based on the SpaceFibre standard for fault mitigation of network hardware and physical communication channels. Usually, a network developer chooses the method of spatial redundancy according to the number of failures that have to be mitigated, the time required for restoring the normal operation of the network, required overheads and hardware costs. The use of different spatial redundancy mechanisms can cause changes in the structure of the links between network nodes, in case of failure and subsequent mitigation. In turn, this may cause changes in the broadcast transmission paths and the temporal characteristics of their delivery from the source to the receivers. This article focuses on the change in the propagation time of broadcasts in SpaceFibre networks with spatial redundancy. Broadcast propagation rules significantly differ from data-packet propagation rules. Broadcast distribution time is very important for many applications, because broadcasts are generally used to send urgent messages, in particular for time synchronization. Various formal methods have been used to evaluate the propagation characteristics of the broadcast. A method for estimating broadcast propagation time along the shortest routes is proposed. In addition, we provide a formal method to estimate the number of failures, which occurred in the network during the broadcast propagation. This method is based on timed Petri nets; one of its features is the ability to calculate broadcast transmission delays. In addition, as an alternative solution, we propose a method for estimating delays based on time automata theory.

The 1960s witnessed the emergence of television as a global medium. One way of demonstrating the powers and possibilities of television was the production and airing of transnational broadcast events. In order to produce these, national broadcast organizations had to engage in joint production of such events. The article examines two such events: Gagarin’s return to Moscow after orbiting the earth in April 1961 and the more well-known ‘Our World’ broadcast 6 years later. At the time of their production, these broadcasts were seen as crucial moments in television history, as prototypes of what could be expected of television in the future. They also relied on extensive cooperation between broadcast organizations in socialist and Western countries, organizations that to a large extent shared the same production values but also had to negotiate competing visions of the geography of modern communications networks. The broadcasts discussed in this article thus provide the opportunity to reflect upon the shaping of television history and global media memories. Based on case studies of the planning and production of the broadcasts, the article argues that global power relations have shaped the remembered history of television and therefore must be part of our understanding of it.

Considering the limited resources and the dynamic spectrum distribution in the cognitive radio sensor networks (CRSN), a half-duplex Multichannel broadcast protocol for CRSN is presented based on the home channel. This protocol maintains the networks topology only through the home channel, so there is no need for the public channel to transmit the control information and no need for the synchronization. After network initialization, node broadcasts data via home channel in half-duplex transmission way. The simulation results show that, compared with complete broadcast, the proposed protocol effectively reduces broadcast delay and overhead.

The role of media literacy is significantly needed to ward off the harmful effects of the media, especially television. Ideally, media literacy skills should be possessed by all people to avoid numerous harmful effects of television. The Indonesian broadcasting commission (KPI) as the broadcast regulator in Indonesia has the task of monitoring broadcast content and also educating the public to be media literate. In conducting its duties, it involves the community to monitor broadcasts by forming volunteers, known as broadcast monitors. This study uses a quantitative approach to examine accessibility, analysis, evaluation, and broadcast monitoring communication in supporting broadcast regulator performance. The research object is broadcast monitors supervised by the Regional Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID) of West Java Province in 2018. The monitors consist of five batches from five regions in West Java, namely Sumedang, Subang, Karawang, Bogor, and Bandung. Based on the research results, it shows that the media literacy capability of broadcast monitors is high, both in terms of the ability to access the media, analyze television programs and evaluate them, and even communicate the results of their monitoring to KPID West Java. The high level of media literacy has decent implications for the high participation of broadcast monitors to make complaints and the frequent findings of violations related to broadcast contents. Abstract The search for extraterrestrial intelligence includes efforts to constrain populations of artificial broadcasts in other galaxies. Previous efforts use individualist methods, searching for single broadcasts with high signal-to-noise ratio. These would be detected as observables with extreme values. This approach is limited to very bright broadcasts and also is subject to confusion, where a large number of broadcasts blend together to form a noise continuum. The mean value of the total emission provides an additional collective bound: the luminosity of the transmitters is no higher than the galaxy’s observed luminosity. Using the framework developed in Paper I, I evaluate how confusion affects individualist searches. I then compare individualist and collective approaches for radio broadcasts from the Milky Way, M31, and three Virgo Cluster elliptical galaxies. For current observations, confusion blurs narrowband radio broadcasts together in the Virgo ellipticals when there is one broadcast per gigahertz per 1000 stars. The collective bound implies fewer than ∼ 10 6 ( ℓ ¯ / 10 13 W ) − 1 L-band broadcasts per star per gigahertz in the Milky Way wideband and is about 10 and 400 times stronger in M31 and M59, respectively. Applying the collective bound to the far-infrared–radio correlation yields constraints on radio broadcast populations in star-forming galaxies throughout the Universe. The collective bound allows us to rule out large regions of broadcast population parameter space even for distant galaxies. It also imposes constraints on gamma-ray, neutrino, and gravitational-wave broadcasts in the nearest galaxies.

AbstractIn this paper we introduce an impulsive control model of a rumour process. The spreaders are classified as subscriber spreaders, who receive an initial broadcast of a rumour and start spreading it, and nonsubscriber spreaders who change from being an ignorant to being a spreader after encountering a spreader. There are two consecutive broadcasts. The first starts the rumour process. The objective is to time the second broadcast so that the final proportion of ignorants is minimised. The second broadcast reactivates as spreaders either the subscriber stiflers (Scenario 1) or all individuals who have been spreaders (Scenario 2). It is shown that with either scenario the optimal time for the second broadcast is always when the proportion of spreaders drops to zero.

Broadcasting through television media is an effective and efficient way to convey information, education and inspiration to the public or society. The information that is presented must have been packaged in such a way that it is interesting to display. However, in practice, there are frequent violations of television broadcasting, especially violating broadcasting code of conduct and broadcast program standards. For this reason, this study aims to determine the regulation of television broadcasts in Indonesia, and to determine the sanctions for violations of television broadcasting. The research method used is normative research with several problem approaches, namely the conceptual approach and the statutory approach. Sources of legal materials used are primary and secondary legal materials. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that the regulation of television broadcasts carried out by the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission is expected to be able to regulate broadcasts so that they do not deviate from broadcast corridors that are in accordance with sound broadcast standards or categories and are able to provide inspiring information and education to the public watching the broadcast. The imposition of sanctions for stations that violate must also be firmer and have a deterrent effect so that the same incident does not occur again. For this reason, it is better if the government, television stations, and the community must work together to create healthy broadcasts not only based on ratings and material benefits, but must be based on the concept of healthy and inspiring education among the public.

In the Internet of Things (IoT) systems, it is often required to deliver a secure message to a group of devices. The public key broadcast encryption is an efficient primitive to handle IoT broadcasts, by allowing a user (or a device) to broadcast encrypted messages to a group of legitimate devices. This paper proposes an IoT-friendly subset representation called Combinatorial Subset Difference (CSD), which generalizes the existing subset difference (SD) method by allowing wildcards (*) in any position of the bitstring. Based on the CSD representation, we first propose an algorithm to construct the CSD subset, and a CSD-based public key broadcast encryption scheme. By providing the most general subset representation, the proposed CSD-based construction achieves a minimal header size among the existing broadcast encryption. The experimental result shows that our CSD saves the header size by 17% on average and more than 1000 times when assuming a specific IoT example of IP address with 20 wildcards and 2 20 total users, compared to the SD-based broadcast encryption. We prove the semantic security of CSD-based broadcast encryption under the standard l-BDHE assumption, and extend the construction to a chosen-ciphertext-attack (CCA)-secure version.

Recently, there has been a notable rise in binge drinking and in the popularity of eating broadcasts via TV and online platforms, especially in Korea. This study analyzed the moderating effect of the eating broadcast viewing experience on the relationship between binge drinking and obesity-related eating behaviors. Cross-sectional self-reported online survey data were collected from 1125 Korean adults. Moderation models for restrained, emotional, and external eating behaviors were tested using moderation analyses with Hayes’s PROCESS version 3.5 compatible with SPSS. As a result, the eating broadcast viewing experience moderated the relationship between binge drinking frequency and external eating (Fchange = 2.686, p = 0.045). More frequent binge drinking was associated with a higher level of external eating in participants who only watched online eating broadcasts, especially among women. Participants in their twenties showed the same above association; additionally, those who only watched TV eating broadcasts showed an inverse association, indicating that more frequent binge drinking was associated with a lower level of external eating. Consequently, an eating broadcast viewing experience was one of the environmental factors associated with binge drinking that influences obesity-related eating behaviors.

Broadcast communication in the digital era, especially television media, has experienced very strict selection in the last few decades. Media corporations compete fiercely to captivate viewers with news coverage that provides insight and conveys information to the public. The West Nusa Tenggara TVRI News Program still exists to this day, although so far it has received little attention from the public. This research aims to identify the form, process and impact of broadcast communication on the news program "West Nusa Tenggara Today" broadcast by TVRI West Nusa Tenggara. Using a qualitative approach and data collection techniques using non-participant observation and using agenda setting theory to dissect each problem formulation. The research results show that the form of broadcast communication on the news program "West Nusa Tenggara Today" is carried out by verbal communication using language symbols. The communication process occurs when humans interact. The mass communication process is the delivery of messages from communicators to communicants using media as a tool to support the widespread dissemination of information. The impact of the news broadcast is to provide change, namely the knowledge gained. Viewers can obtain the latest information through well-communicated news broadcasts. The negative impact is that the broadcast that is broadcast can cause differences in perception regarding the meaning of the message, which will cause divisions.

Through qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach, this study explains the position of local television stations in responding to the development of regulations and the technology they experience. This study resulted that as a broadcast media, local TV stations have very heavy barriers, such as the obscurity of broadcasting regulations, the development of broadcast technology, competition with other mediums that are developing, and internal conditions of the company. To be able to survive, a television station needs to adapt to the development of the times, the television concept was then developed in a collaborative form that is not always based on the audio visual broadcast context. The ethics of da’wah broadcasting in today's technological era requires all media sets to transform in digitization of the system. However, in practice, this is used as a strategy to generate selling value so that there are pros and cons related to this, some think that Islamic spread is about the obligation to be conveyed to da’wah partners instead of being marketed through a broadcast capitalization system. There are also those who think that the broadcast system needs to make a profit to develop the broadcast media. Seeing this phenomenon, MAJT TV Semarang has affirmed the ethics of da’wah broadcasts so that television media continues to exist in accordance with the times. This journal addresses the topic of radio and television broadcasts which are mostly filled with dangdut songs and other events which are sometimes not in accordance with religious norms and regulations in the broadcasting sector. This is indicated by the presence of a number of songs that were hit by reprimand, both by the MUI, the KPID and from the sworddut itself. The problem here is what songs have been broadcast by radio / television and then reprimanded by the authorities, and what songs should be the contents of radio or television broadcasts that are positively charged and educative. This journal is indeed a number of songs that have been banned from being broadcast by radio or television, both because of the lyrics / poetry and the erotic movements of the singers which are categorized as containing pornography and porno-action. Songs should be created and broadcast in line with religious values, customs and regulations, without losing their artistic value, including regional songs. Such songs will be eternal, even though the creator or singer is gone

The host broadcaster is a peculiar, temporary but complex media institution which takes its most developed form in the case of the Olympic Games. The Sydney Olympic Broadcasting Organisation (SOBO) was the host broadcaster for the Sydney Olympics, providing vision for world television networks. Its political economy is examined from the point of view of the changing dynamics of television technologies and the Olympic Movement's assignment of intellectual property, including broadcast rights. The concept of a host broadcaster is shown to be a product of a particular moment in television history and in this respect it is compared to other hosting functions that the media provide for such an event.

Talking about da'wah and radio, we must distinguish between "radio da'wah" and "radio da'wah". Da'wah radio is a radio station whose vision, mission, and all broadcast material is about da'wah (sib of Islam). Meanwhile radio da'wah is da'wah activity on radio media. Da'wah radio is programmed to broadcast Islam. All of his programs are related to da'wah or Islamic nuances. For example, such as religious songs (nasyid and religious pop), there are no other than religious or Islamic nuances. All events including songs contain and are oriented towards Islamic da'wah. There is also da'wah radio which is "anti-music" following the argument that it is forbidden, absolutely all types of music. There were no songs played and no music broadcasts (tune) on the radio, all were "Complete" broadcasts of da'wah and word broadcasts (talk), in the form of lectures, dialogues, and the like. Keywords: Radio, Da'wah, Islam
