Resumo:
We review recent nonlinear partial differential equation techniques developed to address questions concerning solitons for the quartic generalized Korteweg—de Vries equation (gKdV) and other generalizations of the KdV equation. We draw a comparison between results obtained in this way and some elements of the classical integrability theory for the original KdV equation, which serve as a reference for soliton and multi-soliton problems. First, known results on stability and asymptotic stability of solitons for gKdV equations are reviewed from several different sources. Second, we consider the problem of the interaction of two solitons for the quartic gKdV equation. We focus on recent results and techniques from a previous paper by the present authors concerning the interaction of two almost-equal solitons.

Resumo:
With the aid of an extended projective method and a variable separation approach, new families of variable separation solutions (including solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions and rational function solutions) with arbitrary functions for (2+1)-dimensional general Korteweg–de Vries (GKdV) system are derived. Analytical investigation of the (2+1)-dimensional GKdV system shows the existence of abundant stable localized coherent excitations such as dromions, lumps, peakons, compactons and ring soliton solutions as well as rich fractal and chaotic localized patterns in terms of the derived solitary solutions or the variable separation solutions when we consider appropriate boundary conditions and/or initial qualifications.

The present work is related to solving the fractional generalized Korteweg-de Vries (gKdV) equation in fractional time derivative form of order α . Some exact solutions of the fractional-order gKdV equation are attained by employing the new powerful expansion approach by using the beta-fractional derivative which is used to get many solitary wave solutions by changing various parameters. The obtained solutions include three classes of soliton wave solutions in terms of hyperbolic function, trigonometric function, and rational function solutions. The obtained solutions and the exact solutions are shown graphically, highlighting the effects of nonlinearity. Some of the nonlinear equations arise in fluid dynamics and nonlinear phenomena.

Cette thèse est consacrée à l’étude des propriétés dynamiques des solutions de type soliton d'équations aux dérivées partielles (EDP) dispersives non linéaires. `A travers des exemples-type de telles équations, l'équation de Schrödinger non-linéaire (NLS), l'équation de Korteweg-de Vries généralisée (gKdV) et le système de Schrödinger, on traite du comportement des solutions convergeant en temps grand vers des sommes de solitons (multi-solitons). Dans un premier temps, nous montrons que dans une configuration symétrique, avec des interactions fortes, le comportement de séparation des solitons logarithmique en temps est universel à la fois dans le cas sous-critique et sur-critique pour (NLS). Ensuite, en adaptant les techniques précédentes à l'équation (gKdV), nous prouvons un résultat similaire de l'existence de multi-solitons avec distance relative logarithmique; pour (gKdV), les solitons sont répulsifs dans le cas sous-critique et attractifs dans le cas sur-critique. Finalement, nous identifions un nouveau régime de distance logarithmique où les solitons sont non-symétriques pour le système de Schrödinger non-intégrable; une telle solution n'existe pas dans le cas intégrable pour le système et pour (NLS)
This thesis deals with long time dynamics of soliton solutions for nonlinear dispersive partial differential equation (PDE). Through typical examples of such equations, the nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS), the generalized Korteweg-de Vries equation (gKdV) and the coupled system of Schrödinger, we study the behavior of solutions, when time goes to infinity, towards sums of solitons (multi-solitons). First, we show that in the symmetric setting, with strong interactions, the behavior of logarithmic separation in time between solitons is universal in both subcritical and supercritical case. Next, adapting previous techniques to (gKdV) equation, we prove a similar result of existence of multi-solitons with logarithmic relative distance; for (gKdV), the solitons are repulsive in the subcritical case and attractive in the supercritical case. Finally, we identify a new logarithmic regime where the solitons are non-symmetric for the non-integrable coupled system of Schrödinger; such solution does not exist in the integrable case for the system and for (NLS)

Dans cette thèse, nous étudions la dynamique à temps long des solutions des équations de KdV généralisées (gKdV) critiques et surcritiques pour la masse.La première partie de cette thèse est consacrée à la construction d’une dynamique explosive auto-similaire stable pour des équations de gKdV légèrement L2 surcritique dans l’espace d’énergie H1. La preuve repose sur le profil auto-similaire construit par H. Koch. Nous donner une escription précise de la formation des singularité près du temps d’explosion.La deuxième partie est consacrée à la construction de solutions explosive aux équations de gKdV légèrement L2 surcritiques avec plusieurs points d’explosion. L’idée clé est d’envisager des solutions qui se comportent comme une somme de bulles découplée, chaque bulle se comportent comme un solution auto-similaire explosent en un seul point. Nous utilisons les argument topologique classique pour s’assurer que chaque bulle explose en même temps. Ici, nous avons besoin de données initiales plus grande régularité pour contrôler la solution entre les différents points d’explosion.Enfin, dans la troisième partie, nous considérons les équations de gKdV L2 critiques avec une perturbation saturée. Dans ce cas, toute solution avec des données initiales dans H1 est toujours globale en le temps et bornée dans H1. Nous donner une classification explicite de la dynamique près du solitons. Sous certaines hypothèses de décroissance, il n’y a que trois possibilités : (i) la solution converge asymptotiquement vers une onde solitaire ; (ii) la solution reste dans un petit voisinage de la famille modulée de l’état fondamental, en s’étalant par de temps infiniment grande (Blow down) ; (iii) la solution quitte tout petit voisinage de la famille modulée de solitons
In this thesis, we deal with the long time dynamics for solutions of the L2 critical and supercritical generalized KdV equations.The first part of this work is devoted to construct a stable self-similar blow up dynamics for slightly L2 supercritical gKdV equations in the energy space H1. The proof relies on the self-similar profile constructed by H. Koch. We will also give a specific description of the formation of singularity near the blow up time.The second part is devoted to construct blow up solutions to the slightly L2 supercritical gKdV equations with multiple blow up points. The key idea is to consider solutions which behaves like a decoupled sum of bubbles. And each bubble behaves like a self-similar blow up solutions with a single blow up point. Then we can use a classic topological argument to ensure that each bubble blows up at the same time. Here, we require a higher regularity of the initial data to control the solution between the different blow up points.Finally, in the third part, we consider the L2 critical gKdV equations with a saturated perturbation. In this case, any solution with initial data in H1 is always global in time and bounded in H1. We will give a explicit classification of the flow near the ground states. Under some suitable decay assumptions, there are only three possibilities: (i) the solution converges asymptotically to a solitary wave; (ii) the solution is always in some small neighborhood of the modulated family of the ground state, but blows down at infinite time; (iii) the solution leaves any small neighborhood of the modulated family of the ground state

Darbo tikslas. Išsiaiškinti gimdos kaklelio vėžio rizikos veiksnių paplitimą tarp 30 - 60 m. amžiaus moterų ir nustatyti jų sąsajas su gimdos kaklelio vėžiu, bei pateikti rekomendacijas gimdos kaklelio vėžio profilaktikai. Metodika. Gimdos kaklelio vėžio rizikos veiksniams išaiškinti atliktas atvejo – kontrolės anketinis tyrimas. Tyrime dalyvavo 317 moterų: 105 sergančios gimdos kaklelio vėžiu, gydytos KMUK ginekologijos skyriuje ir 212 nesergančių gimdos kaklelio vėžiu moterų KMUK akių skyriuje (santykis 1:2). Duomenys apie rizikos veiksnius (hormoninių kontraceptinių priemonių vartojimas, rūkymas, lytinio elgesio ypatybės ir kt.) buvo renkami panaudojus klausimyną. Rezultatai. Moterims nuo 40 iki 50 metų nustatyta 3,83 karto didesnė gimdos kaklelio vėžio rizika palyginti su moterimis, kurių amžius iki 40 metų (ŠS = 3,83; PI 95% [0,122-0,558]; p = 0,002). Moterys nuo 51 iki 60 metų turi 2,43 karto didesnę gimdos kaklelio vėžio riziką palyginti su moterimis, kurių amžius iki 40 metų (ŠS = 2,43; PI 95% [1,26-4,67]; p = 0,007). Moterys, kurios gimdė 3 ir daugiau kartų pasižymi 1,84 karto didesne rizika susirgti gimdos kaklelio vėžiu palyginti su 1 kartą gimdžiusiomis moterimis (ŠS = 1,84; PI 95% [0,82-4,10]; p = 0,135). Moterims su spec. viduriniu, nebaigtu viduriniu bei pradiniu išsilavinimu 2 kartus padidėjusi gimdos kaklelio vėžio rizika palyginti su moterimis turinčiomis aukštąjį išsilavinimą (ŠS = 2,00; PI 95% [0,91-4,40]; p = 0,083). The aim of this work. To investigate the cervical cancer risk factor prevalence between 30 and 60 years women and to determine their correlation with cervical cancer, and to recommend measures for cervical cancer prevention. Methodology. A case - control study was conducted in order to investigate risk factors for cervical cancer. Study included 317 women: 105 in case of cervical cancer from Kaunas Medical University Clinics - Gynecology section and control group of 212 patients of Kaunas Medical University Clinics - Ophthalmology section (ratio 1:2). Data on risk factors (hormonal contraceptive use, smoking, sexual behavior and other characteristics) were collected using a questionnaire. Results. Women from 40 to 50 years had 3,83 times greater risk for cervical cancer when compared to women aged up to 40 years, (OR = 3,83; CI 95% [0,122-0,558]; p = 0,002). Women from 51 to 60 years have 2,43 times greater risk for cervical cancer compared to women aged under 40 years (OR = 2,43; CI 95% [1,26-4,67]; p = 0,007). Multiparous women who had 3 or more deliveries have 1,84 times greater risk for cervical cancer compared with uniparous women (OR = 1,84; CI 95% [0,82-4,10]; p = 0,135). Denna uppsats har kommit till för att undersöka vad som diskuterades inom Göteborgs kvinnliga diskussionsklubb och Halmstads kooperativa kvinnogille under perioden 1911-1921. Folkbildningsforskningen har tenderat att utgå från ett klassperspektiv, syftet är därför att göra en undersökning där tonvikten delas av ett genusperspektiv, som stora delar av tidigare forskning negligerat. Men också ett klassperspektiv i jämförelsen mellan de två diskussionsklubbarna. Min studie utgår i huvudsak från två antologier från Mimer som mer eller mindre har ensamrätt på folkbildningsforskningen i Sverige. Huvudslutsatsen som jag med denna studie kan göra är att genusstrukturer i samhället kan likställas med klasskillnader i fråga om vilken betydelse de har för innehållet i diskussionsklubbarna.

Zusammenfassung Der Beitrag befasst sich mit der Frage, inwieweit vertragswettbewerbliche Steuerung zur Verbesserung der Pflegeversorgung beitragen kann. Hierzu wird die Konzeption der Solidarischen Wettbewerbsordnung der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung (GKV) betrachtet und ein Blick auf die Erfahrungen gerichtet, die dort seit der Einführung von freier Kassenwahl und Risikostrukturausgleich mit vertragswettbewerblicher Versorgungssteuerung gemacht wurden, bzw. auf die Gründe, warum es in dieser Hinsicht kaum positive Erfahrungen gibt. Vor diesem Hintergrund fällt die Beurteilung der Zweckmäßigkeit vertragswettbewerblicher Steuerung in der Pflegeversicherung negativ aus. Insbesondere ist im Pflegekontext eine wesentliche Funktionsbedingung der GKV-Wettbewerbskonzeption nicht hinreichend erfüllt: die Fähigkeit der (überwiegend alten, multimorbiden und oftmals zudem kognitiv beeinträchtigten) pflegebedürftigen Versicherten zur individuellen Kassen- bzw. Tarifwahl. Außerdem gibt es bislang kein Konzept zur Ausgestaltung eines pflegekompatiblen Risikostrukturausgleichs. Dieser Befund unterstreicht gleichzeitig die Skepsis gegenüber der Forderung nach einer Integration von Pflege- und Krankenversicherung.

Zusammenfassung Während ein ambulant Pflegebedürftiger heute Behandlungspflege als Sachleistung der Krankenversicherung erhält, zahlen vollstationär Versorgte, für welche die Pflegeversicherung Finanzierungsträger ist, die gleichen Leistungen anteilig selbst. Diese seit nunmehr 25 Jahren fortwährende Ungleichbehandlung bedarf einer Lösung. Hinzu kommt ein Auseinanderdriften der Rahmenbedingungen auch innerhalb der durch die Pflegeversicherung finanzierten ambulanten und vollstationären Pflege, welches eine generelle Neuordnung des Leistungsgeschehens unabhängig vom Ort der Leistungserbringung erforderlich macht. Oberstes Ziel aller Reformanstrengungen muss es sein, die medizinische Behandlungspflege sektorübergreifend einheitlich bei der GKV oder der SPV anzusiedeln. Eine automatische Gleichsetzung der medizinischen Behandlungspflege als GKV-Leistung ist aber zu hinterfragen, da diese auch in der SPV als „Vollleistung“ implementiert werden kann. Wünschenswert wäre, dass Fragen nach den Steuerungsmöglichkeiten und der besseren Wirtschaftlichkeit der Leistungserbringung in der Reformdiskussion einen höheren Stellenwert erhalten, als dies heute der Fall ist. Mit Blick auf das Finanzvolumen, welches bei einer Aufhebung der gesplitteten Finanzierungsverantwortung jeweils verlagert würde, ist ferner eine verbesserte Empirie angeraten.

ZusammenfassungIn den vergangenen Jahren hat sich ein breites Spektrum an „neuen“ – vor allem ambulanten – Wohn- und Versorgungsmöglichkeiten für Pflegebedürftige entwickelt. Dieser Ausbau wurde durch Pflege- und Heimgesetzgebung sowie entsprechende Förderangebote gezielt gefördert. Kontrovers wird mittlerweile in der Fachwelt diskutiert, ob diese sogenannten „neuen Wohn- und Versorgungsformen“ nur einen Mehraufwand gegenüber anderen Wohn- und Versorgungskonzepten bedeuten, etwa weil sie mehr Kosten und einen höheren Organisationsaufwand in der Umsetzung bedingen, oder ob sie tatsächlich einen Mehrwert generieren, indem sie den Bewohnerinnen und Bewohnern entsprechend mehr Lebensqualität bieten.Im Rahmen des vom GKV-Spitzenverband 2012 initiierten Modellprogramms zur Weiterentwicklung neuer Wohnformen nach § 45f SGB XI wurden erstmals umfassend die vielfältigen Erfahrungen, die bei der Umsetzung und Verbreitung solcher neuen Wohn- und Versorgungsmöglichkeiten für Pflegebedürftige gewonnen wurden, wissenschaftlich untersucht. Von Januar 2015 bis März 2018 wurden im Rahmen des Modellprogramms 53 ausgewählte Projekte unterschiedlicher Wohnformen vom GKV-Spitzenverband gefördert bzw. in die Evaluation einbezogen. Die Evaluation wurde vom Kuratorium Deutsche Altershilfe und der Prognos AG durchgeführt. Ausgewählte Ergebnisse hierzu werden in diesem Artikel vorgestellt.

Ballistic fabrics are made from high performance polymeric fibers such as Kevlar®, Twaron® and Spectra®. These fibers often behave viscoelastically in high strain rate deformations. The Kelvin-Voigt and Maxwell rheological models have been used to characterize such viscoelastic responses at different strain rates. However, these two-parameter models have been found to be inadequate and inaccurate in some applications. As a result, three-parameter rheological models have been utilized to develop constitutive relations for viscoelastic polymeric fabrics. In this study, a generalized Maxwell (GM) model and a generalized Kelvin-Voigt (GKV) model are proposed to describe the viscoelastic behavior of a ballistic fabric, Twaron® CT716, at the strain rates of 1 s−1 and 495 s−1. The GM model consists of a Maxwell element (including a viscous dashpot and a spring in series) and a second spring in parallel to the Maxwell element, while the GKV model is an assembly of a Kelvin-Voigt (KV) element (containing a viscous dashpot and a spring in parallel) and a second spring in series with the KV element. The predictions by the GM and GKV models are compared with existing experimental data, which shows that the two sets of results are in fairly good agreement. In particular, the comparison reveals that the GKV model gives more accurate results at the low strain rate, whereas the GM model performs better at the high strain rate while still providing accurate predictions for the low strain rate responses.
