Texto completo da fonteFor a long time, primary education has overlooked the students' languages and cultures of origin. An exploration of the conclusions of research in the field of language didactics, and more specifically pluralistic approaches establishes that the didactisation of language interaction/language contact helps in building a metalinguistic reflection that can facilitate fresh learning in a foreign language or in the language in which the child is being educated. At last, a study of the evolution ofFrench school curricula can show us the way for opening schools to multilingualism, in conformity with European Union directives. Intercomprehension between related languages is shown to be a modality of learning that facilitates the comprehension and the way different languages work, especially if the learning process organizes the integration of these languages. We will describe the methodology and the stakes of integrated intercomprehension in romance languages. An experiment has been conducted with two classes of CM1-CM2/last grades of Middle School during science classes, using integrated intercomprehension with the help of the schoolbook Euromania, as well as, in one of the classes, the intercultural-approach based Comparons nos langues. The goal was to observe to which direction this experiment contributed to the evolution of the students' linguistic representations, to the development of linguistic competence and to the invention of strategies of understanding. We will present the benefits of integrated intercomprehension and intercultural approaches to language learning and to learning in other subjects, to multilingualism, and to the well-being of learners, conducive to more successfullearning

Texto completo da fonteThis paper deals with intercultural dialogue between Western culture (Lithuanian) and Eastern culture. We suggest to think of myth as a connection between those two cultures in Donaldas Kajokas’s Novel "Ežeras ir kiti jį lydintys asmenys". The main object of this novel is a lake. It symbolizes the primordial chaos. In the middle of the lake there is an island of divine beauty and enormous energy. In this novel the center of the space is an island. The edges of the lake embody the sections of the mythical world. On one side there is a swamp – the ulterior world. On the other side there is a manor house – the man‘s living place. Manor residents do not change their appearance neither their character. The main character Gabrielius Ašautas changes depends on the time he spends in the manor house. The manor house hostess Augusta is the warden of the world order. She was killed by her kitchener Juta because the last-mentioned wants to stop the creation of the cosmos and to recreate the chaos. There are a lot of unreal creatures in the swamp, so-called anatta. In Buddhism, the term anatta refers to the notion of soulless. Eventually the main character turns into anatta. The main themes in this novel are: an eternity, struggle between chaos and cosmos, and the primordiality of the world.

Texto completo da fonteThe aim of this study is to clarify all aspects linked to this construction technique, consenting simple reading and so a better understanding of it and attempting to outline the development of a technical and historical context in which it can be placed. This research project is in three areas: geographical range: opus incertum is more frequently attested in central Italy; it is particularly interesting to follow the modalities of diffusion of this new construction technique in order to try to determine it in this context; monument typology: the opus incertum characterizes either large public complexes of the republican era or maritime villas. The architectural typology is closely linked to an implicit message conveyed by the monument and makes it possible to understand what the main engine of its diffusion was: the central power or private initiatives of elites; chronology: despite the chronological assumptions advanced, it is found that the opus incertum does not easily enter into a classification of this type. The opus incertum marks a point of rupture, a veritable technical revolution within which one can perceive the transformation of an entire society. It is evident that this construction technique must be analyzed and studied in its complexity and versatility. This research aims at starting from the concrete study of a construction technique arriving at the issue of the relations between theoretical knowledge and empirical practices, the diffusion of knowledge and structures in the field of architecture. It focuses more precisely on the architecture that is tied to it as a formal language that takes its full meaning in a given social and political context

Texto completo da fonteThe purpose with this study is to investigate the experiences some adult Romans have of co-operation between Romani parents and school. The study is based on interviews and has been inspired of critical ethnography and hermeneutic theories. What views have the Romani adults and parents on parental co-operation with school? Which strategy do they see as a practical way for improved parental co-operating with school? The study show that the Romani parents who participated in this study do want a very close co-operation and have used strategies of open communication and giving suggestion on how to co-operate with the schools. One of the informants has had the opportunity to give an in-dept interview and this gives an example of a more diversified picture of the Romani parental patterns in relation to school. The adult Ro-mani group that has been interviewed thinks that a close co-operation with school is very im-portant. One suggestion of improvement from the interviewers is teacher-assistans to improve the schools parental co-operation. There where also suggestions that educational efforts of the school is needed for all students and to include knowledge about who the Romani people are and about their history, culture and language. Some of the parents even showed examples of giving suggestions to teachers to increase the contact by writing in a dairy for each student. The parents in this study also reports of institutionalized antigypsyism and discrimination. In that view the in-dept interview gives an explanation to why the co-operation is believed to be so crucial. There is a fear that the public authorities in somewhat way would hurt the Romani children.
