Texto completo da fonteHur angriper man så komplexa frågor som ställs inom arkitekturen? Frågor som aldrig kan tas ur sin större kontext och som påverkar så många människor. Hur planerar man för en oviss framtid? Slakthuset är en plats med en väldigt unik karaktär som inte finns någon annanstans i Stockholm. Mycket av det beror på att platsen innanför sina gränser och de bestämmelser om vad för funktioner som får finnas där har det fått växa väldigt fritt. Byggnader från många olika decenier står sida vid sida och många har ombyggnationer och påbyggnationer som visar spår av de olika behov som har funnits i byggnaderna. Mycket av dagens arkitektur presenteras med säljiga slogans och diagram som presenterar en förenklad bild av de verkliga problemen och i samman stund den självklara lösningen på det givna problemet. På något sätt lever totalplaneringsidealet kvar. Alla tänkbara problem kan förutses och lösas av den upplysta arkitekten penna. Jag har försökt en annan infallsvinkel. En mer sprudlande process med att testa olika lösningar innan jag ens definierat vad frågan är. Medvetet subjektivt och naivt. När jag långsamt närmat mig en färdig byggnad har också målet med mitt sökande långsamt klarnat. En byggnad som erbjuder en stor mängd olika platser för olika personer och deras olika behöv för att studera. En byggnad med både en klar egen karaktär men med möjligheten att förändras när behoven ändras.

0.59 Ma and U-Pb age of 23.34±
0.19 Ma from alterations. Sr-Nd isotope data are suggestive of a metasomatized subcontinental lithospheric mantle (SCLM) source for the magma. Alteration-mineralization pattern is defined by a series of overlapping halos characterized by sodic-calcic (plagioclase-pyroxene±
scapolite), calcic (garnet-pyroxene±
epidote), potassic (biotite+magnetite+chalcopyrite), hematite-limonite, and late stage (chalcedony-calcite+native Cu) alterations. Stable (&delta
18O, &delta
34S) and radiogenic (87Sr/86Sr,143Nd/144Nd) isotope compositions suggest a magmatic source for the fluids responsible for alteration-mineralization. Given the spatial-temporal association of alteration- mineralization with magmatic rocks, the hydrothermal system that controls mineralization in Samli appears to be linked with emplacement and cooling of Samli pluton. Samli Fe-oxide (+Cu±
Au) deposit has features characteristic for both skarn- and Iron-Oxide-Copper-Gold (IOCG) type deposits. The spatial and temporal association with a porphyritic intrusion, widespread calc-silicate assemblage, metal content (abundant Fe-oxide with high copper content) are similar to calcic Fe-Cu skarns, whereas low-Ti (&le
0.05% TiO2) magnetite/hematite, low-S sulfides (chalcopyrite>
pyrite), high Cu (up to 6.78%) and moderate Au (up to 8.82 ppm) grades, local structural control in alteration-mineralization, and the derivation of the causative magma from a SCLM resembles the features pertinent to IOCG type mineralization. Therefore, Samli deposit is defined as a skarn type Fe-Cu mineralization with a potential for IOCG type deposit.

Texto completo da fonteIn 1991 Zambia made an end with its autoriterian rule and attempted a multiparty democracy. This thesis is about the consequential democratic transition and economic liberalisation up to the year 2008. The following questions determine the analysis: How was the relationship between actors, national and international in the relevant time frame? How did their interaction influence the decision making process and the outcome of it in terms of transition and liberalisation? Finally, these questions need to be answered: How did democratic transition interrelate with economic liberalisation? Did they mutually influence each other? I state, that politics in Zambia since independence in 1964 has always been negotiated by national and international actors. Zambian political parties, trade unions and the donor community, the World Bank and the International Monatery Fond in particular, were the main actors in this process of negotiation. Their interaction was strengthened following the first free elections in 1991. That is the reason for this work to focus on this period of time. Nevertheless, the analysis starts with the dissolution of the federation in 1963 if only in an outline.

Byggnaden förenar de två parallella användningsområdena - arbetsplats och offentligt rum och låter dessa två berika varandra. Genom att synliggöra parallella aktiviteter skapas en känsla av myller som befolkar platsen.Visuella kopplingar mellan våningsplanen i byggnaden flätar samman det offentliga och privata rummet. Förhoppningen är att byggnaden både ska fungera som en kvalitativ arbetsplats och en hub för sociala möten. Att byggnaden ska ge plats för kulturoch politik - ett forum för demokratisk dialog och en kontaktyta mellan kommunen och dess medborgare.

Texto completo da fonteThe purpose of this study is to get a better knowledge about the educator’s approach towards giving the children a chance to influence the gatherings, but also the challenges that it may bring. The target group is the members of one team of educators at a preschool. To gather information for the study a semi-structured interview was done, with each member of the team. This team works at preschool located in a medium-sized city in the middle of Sweden. The results that emerged relied heavily on the educator’s approach and treatments towards the children. By being flexible and curious as an educator, it’ll lead to opportunities for the children to get more influence. The result shows some challenges in the work with children’s influence. One of them is lack of time and another is to take count of every individual in a group of children.

Texto completo da fonteDuring spring 2005 I, Hanna Brogård, undertook my bachelor degree
project in furniture design. The supervisors were Glenn Henningsson at
Njudex in Vrigstad and Leó Jóhannson, teacher and examiner at Carl
Malmsten CTD in Stockholm.
The project was based on three elements:
• Design concept for upholstered furniture
• Cooperate together with a sofa producer for professional supervision
and to learn more about industrial production and upholstery
technique
• Learn more about furniture history of style
I contacted a sofa producer called Njudex, in the province of Småland, who
became my work partner during this project.
Eclecticism is the name of the furniture styles that became popular during
the mid-nineteenth century. It develops from a new, rich society class arisen
from industry and trade. The trend is based on the escape from reality to
dreams of foreign countries, past centuries and nature. During the end of
the nineteenth century the upholsterers get a greater importance when the
textile industry develops and refines. The stressed, contemporary man
should be protected against noise, hard shapes and bright light.
In cooperation with Njudex, my ambition was to develop an upholstered
piece of furniture for the living room. This product would complement their
selection and strengthen their trademark. I built the prototype at Njudex’s
factory to learn more about their production.
The collaboration resulted in a sofa concept of modules with adjustable
backs.
Under vårterminen 2005 genomförde jag, Hanna Brogård mitt
examensarbete i möbeldesign på kandidatnivå vid Carl Malmsten, Centrum
för Träteknik & Design, Linköpings universitet, Stockholm. Handledare
var Glenn Henningsson, Njudex, Vrigstad, och Leó Jóhannson,
programansvarig på möbeldesignprogrammet, som även var examinator.
Jag önskade att inom ramen för examensarbetet fördjupa mig i olika
moment som jag upplevde att jag inte hade fördjupat mig i tillräckligt
tidigare under utbildningen.

• samarbeta med ett stoppmöbelföretag för professionell handledning
och fördjupa mig i industriell produktion och stoppteknik
• fördjupa mig inom stilhistoria och framför allt eklekticism och
tapetserarnas guldålder
Jag tog kontakt med stoppmöbelföretaget Njudex, i småländska Vrigstad,
som kom att bli mina samarbetspartners under det här projektet.
Eklekticismen kallas ofta möbelstilarna som rådde under 1800-talets mitt.
Den utvecklades ur borgarklassen, en ny och rik samhällsklass sprungen ur
industrialisering och handel. Den rådande smaken baserades på borgerlig
romantik som yttrade sig i form av en fantasiflykt ifrån den aktuella
verkligheten till främmande länder, tider och natursvärmeri. Under slutet av
1800-talet får tapetserarna en större roll då borgarklassen börjar frossa i
textilier tack vare textilindustrins utveckling och skicklighet. Den jäktade
samtidsmänniskan skulle skyddas mot buller, hårda former och hårt ljus.
Min ambition var att tillsammans med Njudex utveckla en stoppmöbel för
vardagsrummet som kompletterar deras sortiment och som stärker deras
varumärke med inriktning på hemmiljö och avtagbar klädsel. För att få
större insikt i Njudex tillverkning valde jag att tillverka prototypen under två
veckors tid på plats i deras fabriker.
Samarbetet resulterade i en prototyp i form av en schäslong som är en del i
ett sektionsmöbelkoncept.

Parts of the city centre were replaced with office buildings and road systems and the subway as well as new suburbs were constructed. Rubble was transported to different sites in the outskirts of Stockholm and huge heights were sculptured as recreational areas. A past that is now falling into oblivion. This project aims to uncover the heights' connection to each other and at the same time enhance their function as recreational areas.

Through our experience and practice we have observed that circle time is part of the pre-school day. We have also heard that the circle time has a long tradition behind it and became curious about what the circle time really is.Our study illustrates the educators' perception of the circle time and its importance. We conducted interviews in the form of questionnaires with educators to bring their thoughts on the circletime. The questions were the same to all educators. The educators have had different thoughts about the circle time, but there were also similarities such as the use of the circle time to strengthen the group. To get a clearer view of what's happening in circle time, we conducted observations. We had predetermined different categories that we looked for during the observations.In some circle times, the educators work a lot with children's influence and the children participate and influence the content. In some collections, the influence of the children was limited. The educators focus on training the children before school start.We have used qualitative research methods, with quantitative elements. Based on our collected material, in the form of literature studies, participatory observations and interviews of educators.Today, the circle time is more based on the children's needs and interests. Today, the children are given the opportunity to influence and participate.What has been found to be consistent with previous research is that the content of the circle time is more or less the same today as it was in the 1940s. This may be because there is a lack of time and resources in preschool, which means that you can’t develop the collection further without continuing the tradition. But the results also show that today's circle time is used as a method of learning.

The aim was to find out how the pedagogues awereness on the communication’s meaning during various gathering situations. The empirical material used in this study has been collected through interviews of preschool-teachers from four preschools. I used interviews as the chosen method, due to the aim being, finding out the pedagogues approach on communication. The results of the survey, show that the pedagogues have great awareness when it comes to how they use communication when treating children. They are therefore very aware that communication has a very big role in children’s developement and learning. The pedagogues mention the significancy of the individual ways to communicate and it being up to the preschool-teachers to translate the children’s different ways to communicate. Gathering with the children in preschool is an activity, that shows that the pedagogues always think about how they communicate with the children.

Texto completo da fonteThe main objective of this work is the analysis and the modeling of parallel robots. The problem of path planning avoiding collisions and singularities is studied. The software SMAR, developed in LMS, was used to implement the different algorithms. This software, initially limited to serial robots, was modified in order to cope with parallel robots. First, an analysis of the parallel structures and their different links and joints, is described. Closed kinematic chains are modeled using different types of geometry constraints, which led us to propose a method to generate automatically the kinematic model and separate the passive, active and operational parameters. Second, a method of path planning avoiding both singularities and collisions is proposed. This method combines two modes: a depth search mode and a width search mode. A 3-RPR example is given to illustrate the obtained results. The second part of this thesis presents some experiments to validate the proposed models. The first experiment used a translational robot designed in LGM Monastir and built in LMS. The second experiment was done at the University of Cassino on a 4-cable-driven-robot. The last experiment using a dog robot, showed how this type of structures can be treated as a parallel one. This approach turned out to be an effective way to control such complex structures in a simple and effective way

Texto completo da fonteIn today's industrialized society projects are considered as the obvious model for development. The first step in projects where information plays an essential role is in calculations. This is where the projects future is decided. Here it is important to be clear about the information compiled and making sure that the storage of the information is easily accessed for the project members. Without a proper flow of information, the organization will have difficulty adapting to changes and problems that arise. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the calculation is made in theory and in practice to get an understanding of how the flow of information plays its role.The theoretical framework was based on the theories that were found in a search among KTHB databases and Google Scholar. The information flow has been divided into three parts, presentation, transport and storage of information. Also studied are a number of different calculation methods. To obtain a complementary picture of how this is applied in practice, a case study has been conducted at Skanska Sverige AB. This study includes three interview occasions and continuous contact with a purchasing manager at Skanska. The calculation methods that were examined were ABC - calculation, product calculation and production calculation. Later examined were which of these calculation methods is used at Skanska Sweden AB. Calculations are made from the company's information management system and Skanska use a custom developed system, Spik. It was further examined which type of information that has the greatest impact on the modeling of the calculations and which factors that are crucial. The theory studies are compared with the empirical studies through discussion about the flow of informations role in the development of calculations at Skanska. Later discussed are the recommendations on how the information flow could be improved in the development of calculations.

Her dialogues and the time in which she lived
This essay is about the dialogues in Jane Austen’s novels and what they say about the time she lived in. The interest for Austen comes from the “Austen movies” I’ve seen the latest year.
AIM AND FRAMING OF QUESTIONS My aim has been to compare the contents in the dialogues with the fact in the biographies. The questions are:
What do the dialogues say about the convention, the behaviour, manners and the form of address? What does it say about young men and women and about the marriage? Are the dialogues supported by the content in the biographies? Did Jane Austen really write realistic?
METHOD AND MATERIAL The method was to read the novels and then the biographies. I divided the empiric material in different categories and based it on the fact in the biographies. I have read Sense and sensibility, Pride and prejudice, Mansfield Park and Persuasion. The biographies I have used are for example Valerie Grosvenor Myer’s Obstinate Heart Jane Austen A Biography, Carol Shield’s Jane Austen.
RESULTS I found that the text and the dialogues and contents in Austen’s novels are realistic. She has not made up own rules for convention and behaviour but lets her characters act in a normal way.

Texto completo da fonteThe aim of the study is to investigate how the work on sustainable development, based on the social dimension during assembly, looks at the preschool. We chose interview as a method and used qualitative interviews, more specifically semistructured interviews. We interviewed active educators of different ages and with a lot of experience from working life. These preschool teachers come from two different preschools. Interview as a method was chosen because we were looking for teachers' opinions and feelings about the subject. Previous research shows that sustainable development is a major and central subject, which also affects the pre-school world. The study assumes that sustainable development consists of three dimensions: social, ecological and economic. The focus on this study is on the social dimension. The results we gained show that educators understand the meaning of social sustainability and how to work with the subject at the preschool, both in assembly and in the spontaneous meeting with the child, and they use different tools in the assembly to convey knowledge. However, they do not always put meaning into the word nor do they reflect on the work they put in on social sustainability as much as they do in other subjects that are communicated to preschool.

Texto completo da fontePurpose: To examine whether the qualifying postgraduate course, which authorizes public health nurses and midwives to prescribe oral contraceptives to teenage girls 16–19 years of age has increased the students’ knowledge of oral contraceptives, contributed to changing their attitude to adolescence and sexuality, and increased their motivation for offering teenage girls counselling in sexuality and sexual relationships.Method: The data set used for this study is a previously existing survey collected among public health nurses and midwives through questionnaires administered before and after they completed the course.Results: The response rate was 94 %. The students significantly increased their knowledge about effects and physical and psychological side effects of using oral contraceptives, but did not about the risk of serious diseases that accompanies oral contraceptive use. After the course, 58% and 50 % of the students found it necessary to inform teenage girls about the risk of blood clots in legs and lungs, respectively, when using oral contraceptives. The students’ attitudes towards youth and sexuality were quite liberal before the course and the course did not significantly change those attitudes. Moreover, students were significantly more positive about offering teenage girls counselling regarding sexual relationships and sexuality.Conclusion: The results demonstrate that the purpose of the course, i.e. upgrading students’ qualifications, is only partly successful. Although the students are significantly better qualified to inform teenage girls about oral contraceptives effects and their side effects, their knowledge about the risk of serious diseases did not increase significantly. The students show significantly more interest in offering counselling about sexual relationships and sexuality after completing the course.

Texto completo da fonteThe Middle Ages in contemporary time – Salve City; a reconstruction in the Between Land is an essay dealing with the reconstruction of medieval Kalmar. The Salve City is a melting pot of such diverse fields as archaeology, pedagogies, reconstruction, historical tourism, regional development policy et cetera. Together, these parts form a space for research and mediation, business and pleasure, a place where commercialism and historical tourism can function alongside with history enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. Both pros and cons of the use of a reconstructed part of medieval Kalmar are debated.
Medeltid i samtid – Salvestaden en rekonstruktion i mellanlandet, är en uppsats om återskapandet av det medeltida Kalmar. Salvestaden är en smältdegel av vitt skilda områden så som arkeologi, pedagogik, rekonstruktion, historieturism, regional utvecklingspolitik med mera. Alla dessa delar bildar tillsammans en plats för forskning och förmedling, nytta och nöje, en plats där kommersialism och historieturism samsas med eldsjälar och entreprenörer. Nyttan med en återuppbyggd del av det medeltida Kalmar är omdiskuterad på både gott och ont.

Texto completo da fonteVi vill ta reda på hur kvinnliga pedagoger i förskolan fördelar talutrymmet och hur kommunikation/samspel ser ut mellan pedagog, flickor och pojkar. De frågeställningar som ligger till grund för vår studie är:
· Skiljer det sig i flickors och pojkars tilldelade talutrymme/uppmärksamhet i samling på förskolan. Är det så att pojkar får större talutrymme/uppmärksamhet?
· Finns det en medvetenhet hos pedagogen i hennes förhållningssätt/kommunikation/samspel/interaktion?
· Finns det skillnader i pedagogens uttryckssätt till flickor och pojkar vid tillsägelser och bekräftelse?
· Använder pedagoger lika/olika ordval, röstläge, tonfall, kroppsspråk gentemot flickor och pojkar?
I vår fallstudie har vi observerat pedagoger och barn genom videoinspelning och intervjuat pedagogerna angående genus och jämställdhet. Intervjuerna dokumenterades genom ljudupptagning. Vår studie visar att i kommunikationssammanhang skiljer sig flickor och pojkar åt. Det har visat sig att pojkar både tar och får mer utrymme.

Texto completo da fonteI läroplanen för förskolan Lpfö-98 står det att barnen på förskolan skall ges möjligheter att vistas såväl inomhus som utomhus och att utomhusvistelsen skall ge barnen möjligheter till lek i planerad och naturmiljö. Syftet med studien är dels att upptäcka om och i så fall på vilket sätt samlingen, som en planerad aktivitetsform i förskolan, skiljer sig om den sker utomhus från om den genomförs inomhus och dels att undersöka vilket inflytande barn tilldelas på samlingar inomhus respektive utomhus.
Studien utgår från kvalitativ ansats och bygger på videoobservationer och återkopplande intervjuer (stimulated recall). I studien ingår två lärare verksamma i förskolan och barn i åldrarna 3-5 år.
Resultatet visar att det inte förekommer skillnad mellan samlingarna inomhus och utomhus när det gäller form, lärarens förhållningssätt och barnens inflytande. Skillnaden som resultatet visar handlar om lärarnas olika sätt att hålla i samlingen och inte om deras sätt att använda sig av möjligheter som utomhusmiljön erbjuder. Barns möjligheter till inflytande påverkas inte av att samlingen hålls vare sig inomhus eller utomhus. Vilket inflytande barnen ges och på vilket sätt de kan vara med och påverka innehållet i samlingen är beroende av lärarens förhållningssätt och synen på barns lärande.
In the curriculum for preschool "Lpfö-98" it states that the children attending preschool shall be given the opportunity to be both indoors as well as outdoors and that being outdoors shall give the children the opportunity to play in a planned and natural environment. The purpose of the study is to discover if, and how the circle time as a planned activity, differs if it is indoors or outdoors. The purpose is also to see how the form and contents of the circle times outdoors, encourage childrens' participation and influence.
Data collection methods are: video recording/observation using a digital video camera and feedback on videotaped observation – interviews with teachers in the form of talk about subjects based on the videotaped circle time context. In the study participated two teachers, who are working in preschool with 3-5 year old childrens'.
The result shows that the circle times indoors and outdoors have similarities when it comes to form, the teachers' attitude and the childrens' influence. It´s clear that the difference that the result shows, deals with teachers different ways to work with circle times and not their ways to use the many encourages that the outdoor environment offers. The childrens' chances to influence doesn't depend on if the circle time is indoors or outdoors. In which extent and in which way the children can influence the contents of the circle times is depending to teachers’ different attitudes and the sight on childrens' learning.
