Two taxa described by Turati in 1920 as subspecies of Melitaea phoebe ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775), are examined from high resolution photographs. M. phoebe phoebina Turati, 1920 is identified from morphological features as M. ornata Christoph, 1893, and M. phoebe rostagnoi Turati, 1920, is confirmed as M. phoebe. The quadrinomial M. phoebe rostagnoi sterlineata Turati, 1920 from the same locality as subsp. rostagnoi is also confirmed as M. phoebe.

Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang kajian kritis terhadap Hasan al-Turabi melalui kitabnya al-Tafsir al-Tauhidi, Hasan al-Turabi dalam menyajikan kesatuan petunjuk al-Qur’an melalui kesatuan gagasan yang diusung al-Qur’an melalui surat-surat Al-Qur’an. Pendekatan tauhidi yang didengungkan Hasan al-Turabi dapat menjawab tantangan tafsir dan pemikiran keislaman serta problem aktual di masyarakat kekinian. Namun di balik itu semua, proyek al-Tafsir al-Tauhidi yang diajukan oleh Hasan al-Turabi tersebut sejatinya belum mapan dan banyak sekali kekurangan, karena gagasan tentang kesatuan al-Qur’an melalui pendekatan surat al-Qur’an kurang mumpuni dalam menjaawab konteks kikiniaan, artinya tema yang diajukan oleh Hasan al-Turabi sejatinya sudah ada lebih dulu dan dikenal dengan istilah maudui, wihdah mauu’iyyah, asas. Oleh karenanya tulisan ini mengakaji dan mengkritisi kajian kitab Al-Tafsir Al-Tauhi ala Hasan al-Turabi.

Six central rivers of Bangladesh were selected for this investigation. The name of the rivers are Meghna, Shitalakshya, Dhaleshwari, Padma, Buriganga and Turag. The Electrical Conductivity (EC), pH, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), Salinity, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and Turbidity of the six river waters were evaluated. The EC values of the water of the Meghna, Shitalakshya, Dhaleshwari, Padma, Buriganga and Turag rivers were found to be 202.8, 225.8, 362, 264.4, 586 and 609 µS/cm respectively. The EC values were found higher for the Turag River water than that of the other five river waters. Similarly, the pH values of 6.8, 6.8, 6.6, 6.5, 6.4 and 6.5 were found for the river waters of the Meghna, Shitalakshya, Dhaleshwari, Padma, Buriganga and Turag respectively. The pH values were found lower for the Turag river water than that of the other five river waters. The TDS and salinity of the Turag river water were found 305 ppm and 1.2% respectively. On the other hand, the TDS and salinity of the Meghna river water was found 101.4 and 0.4% which is lower compared to the other five rivers. From this research, this is clear that the quality of the Meghna river water is much better than the river waters of the Shitalakshya, Dhaleshwari, Padma, Buriganga and Turag. The quality of the Turag river water was found inferior. The Turag is one of the most important rivers of Dhaka city, the capital of Bangladesh, and a large number of unban waste goes directly to the river Turag. As a result, the water of Turag river became deteriorated. This investigation proved that the Meghna river water quality is still much better and suitable for many applications.

The article is devoted to the interaction with the environment of the Mahanjar Neolithic population of Turgai. As part of the study, the authors offer a reconstruction of the paleoclimatic conditions in the territory of the Turgai trough in the Neolithic era. They used the data obtained from the spore-pollen analysis of four peat bogs located in the region: Sukhoye Zaymishche, Mokhovoye, Naurzum and Shaitomar; paleoclimatic reconstructions of Siberia and Central Asia; palynological data of the Turgai trough; research by a group of scientists led by S. A. Guskov concerning the finds of the Aral-Caspian microfauna in the sediments of lakes in the south of Western Siberia. A reconstruction of livelihood of the Mahanjar Neolithic population of Turgai (economy, production of stone products, pottery, etc.) is offered. The article covers the results of isotope analysis of ceramics from the Bestamak settlement, in which mare’s milk lipids were recorded. The main conclusion of the work is the statement of the high level of adaptation of the Mahanjar population to the environment and climatic conditions of the Holocene of Turgai.

Studio o salotto che fosse, la stanza come “luogo” nel quale si manifestavano, oltre agli affetti famigliari di Filippo e Anna, l’elaborazione e il dialogo politici della coppia più celebrata del socialismo italiano, Turati e Kuliscioff, merita l’attenzione di storici e critici letterari. Vi passò fior fiore di personaggi che fecero la storia della politica e della cultura di quei decenni, in particolare nell’ambito laico socialista, contribuendo alla formazione di un buon numero di futuri combattenti contro il fascismo. Ricco di citazioni di testimoni di quei decenni, il saggio fornisce al lettore il sapore dell’ambiente colto e progressista, nel quale prendevano forma opzioni culturali e politiche che avrebbero trovato, nel primo dopoguerra, modo di crescere e affermarsi. Sotto questo profilo, di grande efficacia l’incrociarsi, nel salotto di casa Turati in portici Galleria a Milano, di generazioni e correnti di socialismo di ogni tipo, nello spirito di libertà e aperto confronto che lo contraddistingueva. Il “salotto” di Anna Kuliscioff era in realtà più uno studio che un salotto. Il 1° gennaio 1899 la stessa Kuliscioff, libera dopo quattro mesi di detenzione, datava la sua prima lettera da Milano a Turati, ancora detenuto a Pallanza, “da casa del tuo-nostro studio” (Turati e Kuliscioff, 1977: vol. I, 239) ed anche Turati si riferiva a quella stanza soprattutto come al loro studio: “la luce della Camera – scriveva per esempio il 30 novembre 1903 – fa rimpiangere le belle lampade del nostro studio e del nostro tinello” (Turati e Kuliscioff, 1977: vol. II, t. I, 130). In diverse occasioni però definiva “salotto”, senza alcuna ironia, quello stesso ambiente: “Il Bollettino e le inchieste dell’Ufficio del Lavoro sono tutte in salotto, nella libreria che è accanto alla porta della tua camera da letto dal lato della finestra”, il 14 giugno 1910 (Turati e Kuliscioff, 1977: vol. III, t. I, 242–243).

The death of Sudanese Islamist ideologue Hassan Al-Turabi (1932–2016) warrants an examination of Al-Turabi’s and Islamism’s legacy in Sudan and in the broader Middle East and Africa regions. This article outlines the reasons for the rise of Islamism and extremism in these regions, and argues that this rise is rooted, among other factors, in local and global processes that exacerbated inequalities within and between countries in the two regions; and between these regions and other parts of the world. The article further examines the gendered politics of the National Islamic Front (nif)/National Congress Party (ncp) within a wider discussion of the rise of politicised Islam in the Middle East and North Africa. I highlight Islamist discourses and practices and the impact on women in Sudan.

Introduction. The article, based on the “Materials on the Kyrgyz (Kazakh) Land Use Collected and Developed by the Statistical Parties of the Turgai-Ural Resettlement Region”, examines the crafts of the nomads of the Lbischensky, Uralsky, Turgai, Irgiz, Temir uyezds in the early 20th century. Temir, Lbishchensky and Ural uyezds belonged to the Ural region, Turgai and Irgiz uyezds to the Turgai region. Methods and materials. Using the mathematical method, the method of comparative analysis and content analysis, the author shows how much income per person came from crafts in the studied uyezds and proves that crafts were only additional industries and could not compete with nomadic cattle breeding. The article examines the crafts that brought the greatest income. Farmhands, transportation, groundhog hunting, fishing, etc., were well-known crafts; the Muslim spiritual cult and its servants was an unusual craft. Analysis. Our article shows that the studied uyezds had their own craft specializations. For example, a significant number of nomads in Lbischensky uyezd were engaged in transportation, in Turgai uyezd in hunting groundhogs, in Irgiz uyezd in hunting and fishing. Results. At the end of the article, the author concludes that the majority of nomads were primarily engaged in crafts as farmhands due to their poverty.

The present study was undertaken to evaluate the chemical properties of Buriganga and Turag river water, Bangladesh. Water samples were collected from 15 locations of each river from January to February, 2016 to analyze chemical properties, which includes: pH, EC, TDS, DO, cations ( Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+), Anions (Cl-, HCO3-, SO42-, CO3-, PO43-) and heavy metal contents (Pb, Cd, Ni, Cr, As, Zn, Cu). The average value of pH was 8.47 and 8.41 in Buriganga and Turag water indicating moderate alkalinity. The average values of EC content of Buriganga and Turag river water were 327 and 272 ?S cm-1 indicating low to moderate salinity. The mean values of TDS and DO content were 1468.4 and 2.93 mg L-1 in Buriganga river water and 1202 and 3.91 mg L-1 in Turag river water, respectively. Average concentration of Pb, Cd, Ni, Cr, As, Zn, and Cu found in Buriganga and Turag river water were 0.068, 0.016, 0.081, 0.237, 0.006, 0.473, 0.19 mg L-1 and 0.012, 0.021, 0.015, 0.034, 0.002, 0.075, 0.014 mg L-1, respectively. From the study it is found that the value of Pb, Cd and Cr content in Buriganga and Cr content in Turag river water exceeded the standard limits of DoE and WHO. Turag, among all the rivers, is vital lifeblood for the metropolis of Dhaka. This study was carried out to investigate the vital causes of Turag River pollution and subsequent consequences for local inhabitants. The data for this exploratory study were gathered through qualitative analysis and a review of the relevant literature. Field visits were conducted, and relevant data were gathered through individual in-depth interviews (IDIs, N=70), focus group discussions (FGDs, N=02), and researcher observations combined with transect walk along the adjacent areas. The investigation discovered various causes of pollution in the Turag River, the two most significant of which are industrial effluents along with municipal and illegal residential sewage outfalls that release directly into the river. Likewise, abundant different types of garbage, fecal excrement, pesticides from nearby agricultural land, slaughterhouse wastes, spills from a variety of water vehicles, and other human activities such as housing projects and brickfield construction contribute to Turag water pollution. Manifest evidence has been found regarding the consequences of Turag River pollution having of dark color and perilous odor of the Turag River water; local people suffering from diseases such as allergy, skin infection, cold cough, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis, typhoid, respiratory problem, and various others; impact on aquatic lives, fisheries, and livestock; reduced agricultural production; shifts in occupational status; breeding ground for mosquitoes; and many more. This study provides a thoughtful perspective on the origin of Turag River pollution and its various repercussions on riverine communities. To reduce pollution from diverse sources, efforts should be made to decrease the concentration of contaminants.

Alexander Vasilievich Vasiliev (1861–1943) was a missionary, worked in the field of organizing foreign education during the period of the Russian Empire. A Turkologist who speaks the Chuvash, Tatar, Kazakh and Arabic languages. By nationality - Chuvash. A. Vasiliev studied at the Cheboksary Theological School in 1869-1876, then at the Kazan Theological Seminary in 1876-1882, later at the Kazan Theological Academy with a degree in anti-Muslim religion. After graduating from the Kazan Theological Academy in 1886, he taught Greek, missionary subjects, and music at the Orenburg Theological Seminary.After teaching, he works as an official. One of these positions was his work as an inspector of the Turgai region in 1889-1894. In this position, he deeply familiarized himself with the history of the spread of Russian education in the Turgai region. As a result, his historical work “Historical sketch of Russian education in the Turgai region” was published, published in 1896 in Orenburg. Under the influence of the class ideology that prevailed in the Soviet era, this study was “closed” and little known in the scientific community.This research by A. Vasiliev is a valuable historical work based on the works of N. Ilminsky, V. Grigoriev, official letters from the Orenburg administration, government documents, archival materials that were at the forefront of attracting Russian education in the Turgai region. The work contains detailed historical data on the opening of Russian-Kazakh schools in the Turgai region, teachers who worked there, students who received education. The book also contains the first information about the pedagogical activity of the teacher A. Baitursynov.

This research assesses the experiment of the Islamic movement in Sudan following the 1989 coup. The main question that needs to be answered with regard to Turabi and the Islamists in Sudan is the gap between theory and practice. Sudan is a complex country, with a diverse population encompassing different tribes, languages, religions and cultures, all impacting on the country’s history and future. Consequently, the Islamic movement was influenced by the nature of this society. The Islamisc movement in Sudan was established in the 1940s, linked to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, and to revivalists in the 19th and 20th centuries, such as al-Afghani, Mohammed ‘Abdu, Mawdudi, Hasan al-Turabi and Rashid al-Ghannouchi. The research assesses the theories of Turabi in Shura, democracy and issues of government. It critically evaluates the concepts of Tawhīd, the state in Islam, and human rights, minorities, women, etc., in the Islamic state. This research established that gaps existed between the theory and practice of Turabi and the Islamists in Sudan. Their military coup represents the first violation of democracy. They possessed a clear human rights’ vision, but in practice violated them from the early days of the coup. They developed mature theories on power sharing, justice and equality, but have monopolised power since 1989. Shura was implemented in the movement institutions, but remains to be enhanced in the State. In the first decade, Islamist succeeded in developing the economic sector, by exploring for oil, and establishing a free market, but with no mechanisms to mitigate its negative side-effects. In society, significant laws were developed, in favour of women, education, and media. One may argue that Islamists need to take further steps towards Shura and democracy on the practical level, and establish proper mechanisms.

Mantel's theorem says that among all triangle-free graphs of a given order the balanced complete bipartite graph is the unique graph of maximum size. In Chapter 2, we prove an analogue of this result for 3-graphs (3-uniform hy¬pergraphs) together with an associated stability result. Let K− 4 , F5 and F6 be 3-graphs with vertex sets {1, 2,3, 4}, {1, 2,3,4, 5} and {1, 2,3,4, 5, 6} re¬spectively and edge sets E(K−4 ) = {123, 124, 134}, E(F5) = {123, 124, 345}, E(F6) = {123, 124,345, 156} and F = {K4, F6}. For n =6 5 the unique F-free 3-graph of order n and maximum size is the balanced complete tri¬partite 3-graph S3(n). This extends an old result of Bollobas that S3(n) is the unique 3-graph of maximum size with no copy of K− 4 or F5. In 1941, Turán generalised Mantel's theorem to cliques of arbitrary size and then asked whether similar results could be obtained for cliques on hyper-graphs. This has become one of the central unsolved problems in the field of extremal combinatorics. In Chapter 3, we prove that the Turán density of K(3) 5 together with six other induced subgraphs is 3/4. This is analogous to a similar result obtained for K(3) 4 by Razborov. In Chapter 4, we consider various generalisations of the Turán density. For example, we prove that, if the density in C of ̄P3 is x and C is K3-free, then |E(C)| /(n ) ≤ 1/4+(1/4)J1 − (8/3)x. This is motivated by the observation 2 that the extremal graph for K3 is ̄P3-free, so that the upper bound is a natural extension of a stability result for K3. The question how many edges can be deleted from a blow-up of H before it is H-free subject to the constraint that the same proportion of edges are deleted from each connected pair of vertex sets has become known as the Turán density problem. In Chapter 5, using entropy compression supplemented with some analytic methods, we derive an upper bound of 1 − 1/('y(Δ(H) − /3)), where Δ(H) is the maximum degree of H, 3 ≤ 'y < 4 and /3 ≤ 1. The new bound asymptotically approaches the existing best upper bound despite being derived in a completely different way. The techniques used in these results, illustrating their breadth and connec¬tions between them, are set out in Chapter 1.

Abstract: Sleep in night shift work: comparison between “3x8” and “2x12” fast rotating shift schedules The study was aimed at assessing the impact of 3 types of fast rotating shift systems on stress, fatigue, sleep and hormonal secretion. Subjects: Among 294 hospital nurses, examined in a survey on work related stress, three groups of 10 nurses were randomly selected for a comparison of three shift work schedules: a) 10 working in the resuscitation unit on a “3x8” shift system in a 5-day cycle with a “quick return”: Afternoon (14-21); Morning (07-14) and Night (21-07); End of Night shift; 2 Rest days; b) 10 working in the surgical ward on a “3x8” shift system in a 6-day cycle with a “quick return”: Afternoon; Morning; Morning and Night; End of Night shift; 2 Rest days; c) 10 working in the delivery room on a “2x12” shift system in a 5-day cycle: Daywork (07-19); Nightwork (19-07); End of Night shift; 2 Rest days. Seventeen nurses were women and 13 men, aged between 23 and 46 years (mean 34.3) and with work seniority between 1.4 and 28 years (mean 11.4). All were in good health and not taking any medication. Methods: They have been submitted to a semi-structured interview including the Standard Shiftwork Index, the Job Demand-Control and the Effort Reward Imbalance questionnaires, the Epworth sleep scale. During the whole shift cycle, the nurses recorded their activity and rest periods by actigraphy and personal diaries, assessing sleepiness by the Karolinska Sleepiness Scale and quality of sleep by a 10-point visual scale. They also took saliva samples at 0700 and 2300 of each working and rest day for dosage of cortisol, cortisone and melatonin. Results: The nurses reported more sleep troubles in both “3x8” than in “2x12” shift schedule. According to actigraphy, in both “3x8” shift schedules the duration of night sleep between afternoon and morning shifts is reduced by 35% as compared to rest days, and sleep between morning and night shifts in the same day lasts less than 3 hours on average, showing a significantly higher fragmentation in both occasions. Also subjective sleepiness is significantly higher before night shift in both “3x8” shift schedules than in the “2x12” one. In the surgery ward, where they can nap/sleep up to 3 hours during the night shift, the nurses have a 40% shorter sleep in the morning after. In the “2x12” shift schedule the night sleep duration between Day and Night shift is the same as in the rest days. As far as hormonal secretion, cortisol and cortisone did not change significantly their normal circadian phase in all the three shift schedules, whereas melatonin showed a more irregular pattern.

Santuokos sudarymu sukuriami šeimos teisiniai santykiai: vyras ir moteris įgyja specifinį teisinį statusą – tampa sutuoktiniais, o kartu perima asmenines neturtines ir turtines teises ir pareigas. Sutuoktinius, įgyvendinant turto valdymo, naudojimosi ir disponavimo teises, sieja glaudūs tarpusavio priklausomybės, artimi santykiai, kurie iš esmės sudaro jų teisinių santykių turinį. Santuoką sudariusių asmenų turtinių santykių aiškumas tampa ypač aktualiu klausimu užtikrinant bei apsaugant tiek pačių sutuoktinių, tiek trečiųjų asmenų interesus, kadangi, nesudarius vedybų sutarties, bet koks susituokus įgytas turtas tampa bendrąja jungtine nuosavybe. Sutuoktinių nuosavybės teisės į individualią įmonę , kaip turtinį kompleksą, ją įkūrus po santuokos sudarymo, ir yra šio darbo objektas. Viena kylančių problemų susijusi su neapibrėžtumu, tarpusavyje lyginant Lietuvos Respublikos Civiliniame kodekse ir LR Individualių įmonių įstatyme įtvirtintas normas: remiantis CK formulavimu, santuokos metu įsteigta įmonė priskirtina bendrajai jungtinei nuosavybei, tuo tarpu IĮ įstatyme reglamentuojama, kad IĮ steigėju ir savininku gali būti tik vienas fizinis asmuo, šiuo atveju – vienas iš sutuoktinių. Šio darbo tikslas - išanalizuoti, ar IĮ gali turėti kelis savininkus.
Family relations are established by conjugnality of a man and a woman: they come into position of a husbant and a wife and obtains personal property and non-property rights and interests. Wedded persons are bond by close interdependence ties that make the essence of their legal relations. The clarity of property relations of wedded persons is very important to secure and protect not only their, but also the interests of third parties, i. e. creditors, because in the absence of wedding contract, property acquired during the marriage is automatically presumed to be owned jointly by both spouses. The ownership of a company organized as a sole proprietorship that is established by one of the spouses while being in marriage is the object of this work. The problem of interdetermination arises while seeking to determine the ownership rights of spouses to a SP: Lithuania‘s Civil Code sets the rule that company established during the marriage is presumed to be an object of community property, whereas the Statute of Sole Proprietorships‘ allows a company organized as SP to be owned by a single person, in this instance – one of the spouses. The issue of this work is to analyse if a company organized as SP may have a few owners.

Europos Sąjunga yra laikoma didžiausią ekonominį potencialą turinti struktūra. Tačiau ateityje yra numatomas ženklus ekonominio augimo sulėtėjimas ar net stagnacija, kuriai didžiausią įtaką turi socialinė atskirtis ir didėjanti gyventojų poliarizacija. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos socialinės gerovės ir ekonominio augimo sąryšio teorijos suponuoja, jog egzistuoja glaudus ryšys tarp gyventojų galimybių diferenciacijos ir tvaraus ekonominio augimo. Tyrimo metu atlikta mokslinės literatūros analizė parodė, jog šalys, kuriose vykdoma sėkminga socialinė prevencija, turi didesnį ekonominio augimo potencialą. Norint įvertinti, kurios ES šalys sėkmingiausiai tvarkosi su socialinėmis problemomis, buvo atliktas daugiakriteris vertinimas taikant SAW metodą. Atlikus pirmąją analizę buvo nustatyta, jog šalys, skiriančios didesnį dėmesį socialinių problemų prevencijai, pasižymi geresniais valstybės ir rinkos santykiais bei didesniu piliečių pasitikėjimu valstybės vykdoma politika ir siekiu prisidėti. Toks visuomeninės veiklos tandemas stabilizuoja ir gerina valstybių ekonominę ir socialinę padėtis. Gauti rezultatai leido įvertinti ryšio tarp socialinės gerovės ir ekonominio augimo egzistavimą. Atlikus koreliacinę analizę pastebima, jog augantys socialinės gerovės rodikliai gali turėti įtakos ekonominiam augimui ir tarp jų egzistuoja ryšys.

Šiuolaikiniame pasaulyje siekiama turėti stabilią finansinę padėtį ir užsitikrinti gerą finansinę ateitį sau ir savo šeimai. Būtina tinkamai valdyti savo finansus ir nuo tikėtino lėšų praradimo apsisaugoti sudarant gyvybės draudimo sutartį. Tačiau atsiranda problema – draudėjai turi nepakankamai informacijos apie sutarčių sudarymą ir tai neigiamai veikia šalies gyvybės draudimo rinkos plėtrą. Straipsnio tyrimo objektas yra Lietuvos gyvybės draudimo rinka. Straipsnio tikslas – išanalizuoti ir įvertinti situaciją Lietuvos gyvybės draudimo rinkoje. Sprendžiami su tuo susiję uždaviniai: išnagrinėti ir įvertinti gyvybės draudimo teorinius aspektus ir ypatumus, išanalizuoti situaciją Lietuvos gyvybės draudimo rinkoje. Straipsnyje taikyti šie tyrimo metodai: mokslinės literatūros analizė, teorinių ir praktinių teiginių sugretinimo metodas, statistinių duomenų analizė.

Straipsnyje analizuojama Skryto ežero ekologinė būklė pagal fizikines-chemines savybes, įvertinami ilgalaikiai poveikio paviršiniam vandens telkiniui monitoringo duomenys. Tiriami bendras azotas, bendras fosforas, skaidrumas. Analizuojamos ūkinės veiklos aplink Skryto ežerą, kurios gali turėti neigiamą įtaką ežero vandens kokybei. Įvertinama, ar didžiausią įtaką ežero vandens kokybei turi sutelktoji ar pasklidoji tarša. Bendrojo azoto koncentracija tiriama oksiduojant mėginį persulfatu, bendro fosforo koncentracija tiriama mineralizuojant mėginį persulfatu, skaidrumas tiriamas naudojant Secchi diską. Ežero vandens kokybės mėginiai buvo įmami iš 4 skirtingų ežero vietų nuo 2019 m. liepos iki gruodžio. Mėginių paėmimo vietos parinktos taip, jog būtų galima kuo tiksliau identifikuoti ūkinių veiklų sukeliamą taršą. Šiame straipsnyje yra pateikiamas išsamus Skryto ežero tyrimas, kuris įvertina antropogeninės veiklos sukeliamą taršą Skryto ežero vandens kokybei.

Abstract Characteristics of two brown oil fields in the South Turgai Basin Field pose challenges for field development. Oil rims bounded by a gas cap on one side and an aquifer on another side are present in both fields. These features coupled with poor rock properties make the development of these fields challenging. As a result, enhanced recovery techniques are necessary for the economic production of oil and gas. Accounting for high saturation pressure and weak aquifer reservoir pressure maintenance is considered critical for the oil rims, as these have been observed twofold reduction in reservoir pressure from the initial one. To account for such effects, previous producing wells were converted to gas and water injection wells. Gas flooding of the gas cap is performed using a crestal injection pattern and water injection into the gas-oil zone is used to create a water bank between the gas cap and oil rim. Moreover, waterflooding is launched by peripheral water injection with additional advantages attained from gravity segregation. Changes in oil and gas production have been observed as a result of pressure maintenance. First, the gas injection implemented in the wells located 1.5-3 km from the oil rim have prevented gas breakthrough in producers, despite the significant injection rates. High injection rates are a result of the governmental ban on flaring, since this prompts engineers to perform faster pressure recovery and target a higher volume of utilization. Second, crestal and edge water injection have different results in different parts of the fields. However, in some cases rim flooding have devastating effects as producers have been watered out. On one hand, the goal of decreasing the gas production was met, which happened earlier and was one of the biggest challenges facing the company. Consequently, gas-oil ratios decreased almost ten times than what they were previously. On the other hand, water-cut on many producers increased substantially, up to 90-95%, and in some areas top injectors even killed the down-dip producers. Thus, despite having solved one problem, another one emerged. Overall, crestal water injection (i.e., barrier waterflooding) is risky, and requires stricter regulation and management. Case studies from the South-Turgai Basin show that water injection in top structure of oil rims for enhanced oil recovery can lead to positive as well as negative results. Overall, the paper demonstrates the cause-and-effect relationship of the previously described impacts of such water injection and provides recommendations for proper waterflooding management in oil rims based on the success in other parts of the field.

Lietuvos teritorijos gravitacijos lauko tyrimai, kurių tikslas – padidinti geoido tikslumą, o kartu ir normalinių aukščių, nustatomų kosminės geodezijos metodais, tikslumą, atliekami nuo 2016 metų. Modeliuojant gravitacijos lauką teritorijoje svarbu turėti didelio tikslumo ir tankumo duomenis. Siekiant sumodeliuoti gravitacijos lauką Lietuvos teritorijoje, būtina įtraukti ir ežeringas teritorijas. Gauti duomenys taip pat galės būti naudojami atliekant geofizinius ir geodinaminius tyrimus bei vykdant tiksliąją navigaciją. Siekiant reikiamu tikslumu sudaryti matavimu tinklą, būtina gravimetrinius matavimus atlikti ir ant ežerų paviršiaus, šaltajam metų laikui ežerams užšalus, galima atlikti matavimus ant ledo. Daugybė veiksnių turi įtakos gravimetravimui ant ledo paviršiaus, tad būtina įvertinti duomenų apdorojimo ir matavimų metodikas. Taškų koordinatės ir aukščiai nustatomi kosminės geodezijos metodu (RTK GNSS metodas), naudojant nuolat veikiančių stočių LitPOS tinklą ir LIT15G kvazigeoido modelį. Koordinačių nustatymo vidutinė kvadratinė paklaida neviršija 0,20 m, normalinių aukščių – 0,15 m. Parengta sunkio anomalijų nustatymo ant ledo paviršiaus metodika. Straipsnyje pateikiami gravimetrijos tyrimai ant užšalusių Lietuvos ežerų paviršiaus. Aprašoma matavimų metodika bei rezultatų analizė.
