Abstract: The history of any art is the basic nail root. In ancient times humans were first seen as the basis of omens and then began to worship the planets as deities due to the effects of the rages of nature. They then began to observe the changes in nature caused by the planets and the consequences. As a result of such research, the planets Sun, Mars and Saturn were divided into evil planets and the planets Moon, Mercury, Guru and Venus were divided into virtuous planets. The sighting of the crescent moon is considered one of the scientific issues of importance in Islamic law, as many of the rulings of worship are linked to it. Fasting is not achieved without the sighting of the crescent moon of Ramadan, and it does not end without the sighting of the crescent moon of Shawwal. Similarly, the rituals of Hajj are linked to the sighting of the crescent moon of Dhul-Hijjah, and other acts of worship begin and end based on the sighting of the crescent moon. This thesis examines the portrayals of the female sea spirit or Sedna and the male moon spirit in sculpture and graphics by contemporary Inuit artists from three Arctic art "communities": Baker Lake, Cape Dorset and Povungnituk. Analysis of the mythological depictions has led me to conclude that artists have tended to employ two distinct styles of illustration to represent these deities. This study investigates the teachings of Saint Porphyrios the Kafsokalivite on how the appreciation of beauty in creation can lead believers closer to God. Despite his lack of formal theological training, Saint Porphyrios offered profound experiential insights into divine beauty manifest in nature, art, and music. He passionately argued that the beauty surrounding us is a reflection of divine grace, urging believers to perceive these manifestations as direct links to the Creator. Saint Porphyrios highlighted the spiritual dimensions of beauty, fostering gratitude and reverence for Gods gifts.
