The prevalence of allergic diseases is constantly growing around the world. According to WHO forecasts, most of the world's population will suffer from various allergies by 2050, at the same time any substance can be an allergen, and the XXI century will be the era of allergies. In the structure of allergic diseases in children the leading place is occupied by allergic skin lesions — allergic dermatoses, which are characterized by pronounced clinical polymorphism, acute or chronic stage with the development of concomitant pathological changes in many systems of the growing child's body. The article presents the results of predicting acute skin allergic diseases in children by referral to a hospital, which made it possible to obtain more visible data on the dynamics of the disease in the future. A retrospective analysis of 871 case histories was conducted for children with acute skin allergic diseases over a 10-year period who were hospitalized at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health. The obtained dynamic series were aligned in the Microsoft Excel 2013 program by adding a logarithmic trend line, as more appropriate for this nosology of patients.

BACKGROUND: Over the last decades, the hypothesis that an allergic response could lead to the development of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) was raised and clinical studies investigated the co-existence of both. These studies had shown that allergic diseases and neurobehavioral disorders were concurrent and could be associated with genetic factors, neuroimmunity and microbial dysbiosis. To date, this was the first study in the Philippines to evaluate the prevalence and association of allergic diseases, its severity and ADHD symptoms. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was t

Abstract Ganoderma lucidum or Reishi is a medicinal mushroom of significant importance that is being used for the prevention and treatment of various diseases, due to its numerous pharmacological and therapeutic properties. The Ganodermataceae family is diverse, but the focus is on the lucidum species because of its specific biologically active macromolecules such as polysaccharides, triterpenoids, steroids, phenolic compounds, lactones, and fatty acids that were isolated from the mycelia and fruiting bodies. Ganoderma lucidum species have many benefits over the immune system (promoting health

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic allergic dermatosis characterized by epidermal thickening and dermal inflammatory infiltrates with a dominant Th2 profile during the acute phase, whereas a Th1 profile is characteristic of the chronic stage. Among chemokines and chemokine receptors associated with inflammation, increased levels of CX3CL1 (fractalkine) and its unique receptor, CX3CR1, have been observed in human AD. We have thus investigated their role and mechanism of action in experimental models of AD and psoriasis. AD pathology and immune responses, but not psoriasis, were profoundly decr
