Renal function was studied in chronically-catheterized fetal lambs (133 +/- 1 days; term, 145-150 days). Additionally, renal function was studied in anaesthetized, ventilated, caesarean-delivered preterm lambs (109-139 days gestation) and term lambs (148 days gestation), and in 2-day-old spontaneously-delivered term lambs. The study included 40 newborns who underwent intrauterine intravascular blood transfusion due to hemolytic disease of the fetus RH-factor.Results. Анотація:
The incidence of patent ductus arteriosus in newborns in the Republic of Belarus is about 10% of all heart defects. With a complicated course of patent ductus arteriosus, pulmonary hypertension, heart failure, infective endocarditis, hemodynamic disturbances, pulmonary hemorrhage, renal failure are possible, which can lead to an unfavorable outcome. Postnatal adaptation in children with PDA is complicated by damage to other organs and systems.
