Анотація:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (1) pengaruh sistem penilaian kinerja pegawai dan pengembangan karir terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Kantor Pemerintahan Kecamatan Barru Kabupaten Barru secara sendiri-sendiri (parsial) dan secara bersama-sama (simultan) (2) variabel yang dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai Kantor Pemerintahan Kecamatan Barru Kabupaten Barru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Dilaksanakan pada Kantor Kecamatan Barru Kabupaten Barru. Waktu penelitian adalah bulan nopember sampai Desember 2019. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Kantor Kecamatan Barru Kabupaten Barru, sebanyak 56 orang. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh (sensus) yaitu semua populasi dalam penelitian ini dijadikan sampel. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 56 orang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda (multiple regression analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara sistem penilaian kinerja pegawai dan pengembangan karir terhadap kepuasan kerja secara parsial dan simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Pemerintahan Kecamatan Barru Kabupaten Barru (2) pengembangan karir merupakan variable yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Pemerintahan Kantor Kecamatan Barru Kabupaten Barru.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh komponen fisik (fhysical fitness) yang meliputi kecepatan, daya ledak tungkai dan kesimbangan terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh Pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Barru Kabupaten Barru. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan variabel bebas fhysical fitness yaitu kecepatan, daya ledak tungkai dan keseimbangan serta variabel terikat yaitu kemampuan lompat jauh. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa putra SMA Negeri 1 Barru Kabupaten Barru. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 orang siswa SMA Negeri 1 Barru Kabupaten Barru. Teknik penentuan sampel adalah dengan teknik random sampling dimana sampel dipilih secara acak. Kemudian data hasil penelitian diolah dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi melalui bantuan komputer dengan program SPSS. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil: (1). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan kecepatan Terhadap Kemampuan Lompat Jauh Pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Barru Kabupaten Barru dengan nilai r hitung (r0) = 0,687 (P < 0,05) dengan nilai kontribusi 47,2% (2). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan daya ledak tungkai terhadap Kemampuan Lompat Jauh Pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Barru Kabupaten Barru dengan nilai r hitung (r0) = 0,504 (P < 0,05) dengan nilai kontribusi 25,4% (3). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan keseimbangan Kemampuan Lompat Jauh Pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Barru Kabupaten Barru dengan nilai r hitung (r0) = 0,415 (P < 0,05) dengan nilai kontribusi 17,2% (4). Ada pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama-sama ditinjau dari kecepatan, daya ledak tungkai, keseimbangan terhadap Kemampuan Lompat Jauh Pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Barru Kabupaten Barru dengan nilai nilai r hitung (r0) = 0,725 (P < 0,05) dengan nilai kontribusi 52,6% Kata kunci: Fhysical Fitness, Lompat Jauh, siswa Abstract This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of the physical component (physical fitness) which includes speed, limb explosive power and balance on the long jump ability of SMA Negeri 1 Barru students in Barru district. This research is descriptive with physical fitness independent variables, namely speed, limb explosive power and balance and the dependent variable is the long jump ability. The study population was all students of SMA Negeri 1 Barru in Barru district. The research sample consisted of 40 students of SMA Negeri 1 Barru in Barru district. The sampling technique is random sampling technique in which the sample is randomly selected. Then the research data is processed using correlation techniques through computer assistance with the SPSS program. Based on the data analysis, the following results were obtained: (1). There is a significant effect of speed on the Long Jump Ability of SMA Negeri 1 Barru students in Barru district with a value of r count (r0) = 0.687 (P &lt;0.05) with a contribution value of 47.2% (2). There is a significant effect of limb explosive power on the Long Jump Ability of SMA Negeri 1 Barru in Barru district with a value of r count (r0) = 0.504 (P &lt;0.05) with a contribution value of 25.4% (3). There is a significant effect on the balance of Long Jump Ability on Barru State Senior High School students in Barru district with a value of r count (r0) = 0.415 (P &lt;0.05) with a contribution value of 17.2% (4). Some of the partner problems that are the focus of PKM activities are among others; The existence of limitations in reading and writing Latin letters in this case IRT is illiterate. The second problem is the lack of knowledge of Reading the text of the Qur'an. The existence of this problem, the solution offered in this PKM activity is: increasing the knowledge of literacy of Latin letters of Housewives in Barru Regency. increase knowledge about reading the text of the Quranic scriptures, increase the ability to think in IRT in Barru Regency, increase knowledge in science and technology and art at IRT in Barru Regency, increase knowledge of religion at IRT in Siawung Village, Barru Regency, Increase knowledge about the importance of innovation in IRT in Barru Regency. The solution that occurs can be eliminated through IRT training and assistance activities in Barru Regency through activities to increase knowledge of Latin letter literacy and Quranic literacy, the focus of this activity is focused on Siawung Village, Barru Regency, Barru District, Barru Regency. The method used is the participatory method. This method is implemented by involving all members of partner groups, village governments, and the relevant local governments and several community leaders. It is hoped that they will be able to read and write the Quran, so that the IRT in Barru Regency can understand the reading of the Quran. The results of this PKM show that the increase in knowledge of reading Latin letters and the Quran in IRT in Barru Regency through PKM activities has given understanding to IRT in Barru Regency. IRT has been able to recognize letters, recognize syllables, recognize words, and recognize sentences. IRT has been able to write identities, so pkm activities carried out in Barru Regency have succeeded in increasing knowledge of literacy of Latin letters and the Quran.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar efektivitas penerimaan pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah di Kabupaten Barru dan untuk mengetahui kontribusi pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah terhadap PAD di Kabupaten Barru. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu menganalisis data realisasi pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah terhadap pendapatan asli daerah di Kabupaten Barru tahun 2012-2016 dengan menggunakan rumus efektifitas dan kontribusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pajak daerah dari tahun 2012-2016 berfluktuasi namun dengan melihat efektivitas pajak daerah Kabupaten Barru yang lebih dari 100% atau rata-rata sebesar 102,91% hal ini menunjukan bahwa kinerja dalam pemungutan pajak daerah di Kabupaten Barru masih dalam kriteria sangat efektif dan efektivitas retribusi daerah dari tahun 2012-2016 juga berfluktuasi namun dengan melihat rata-rata efektivitas retribusi daerah di Kabupaten Barru yang kurang dari 100% atau rata-rata sebesar 64,74% hal ini menunjukan bahwa retribusi daerah di Kabupaten Barru dalam kriteria kurang efektif. Tingkat kontribusi penerimaan pajak daerah terhadap pendapatan asli daerah di Kabupaten Barru mengalami pertumbuhan yang berfluktuasi dari tahun 2012-2016 termasuk dalam kriteria kurang karena hanya mencapai 17,06% sedangkan tingkat kontribusi penerimaan retribusi daerah terhadap pendapatan asli daerah di Kabupaten Barru mengalami pertumbuhan yang berfluktuasi dari tahun 2012-2016 dikatakan dalam kriteria sedang karena telah mencapai 34,86%.

Kabupaten Barru sebagai 'Pusat Titik Tangkap' kornoditi di Sulawesi Selatan. Dengan adanya rencanaKEK Barru diharapkan dapat mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi di Sulawesi Selatan melaluipengembangan simpul-simpul strategis jaringan transportasi jalan, penyeberangan dan laut. Tujuanpenelitian ini menentukan sektor basis dan komoditas unggulan dari hinterland KEK Barru serta mengetahuikondisi jaringan prasarana transportasi dalam mendukung rencana KEK Barru di Sulawesi Sela tan. Penelitianini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Metode analisis adalah Location Quotient (LQ) dan analisisjaringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sektor basis berupa perikanan (komoditas hasil laut),peternakan (komoditas sapi dan unggas) dan pertanian (padi). Pengembangan jaringan prasaranatransportasi dalam mendukung rencana KEK Barru adalah jaringan transportasi jalan, transportasi lautdan udara. Pelabuhan Makassar sebagai pintu gerbang utama bagi Kawasan Timur Indonesia (KTI), untukmendukung menjadi Greater Port of Makassar, maka Pelabuhan Garongkong yang terletak di KEK Barru ijuga ikut dikembangkan guna mendukung fungsi pelabuhan sebagai pengembangan terminal curah nonpakan. Lokasi KEK Barru yang terletak dekat dengan Bandara Intemasional Sultan Hasanuddin juga sangatmendukung kelancaran akses distribusi komoditi yang tidak dapat dilayani rnelalui transportasi laut.

The purpose of the study: to find out and to describe (1) students' understanding of Pancasila,(2) students’ attitudes and behaviours about the implementation of Pancasila and (3) students coaching programs in understanding Pancasila values and their attitudes that are following Pancasila values? Research method: quantitative descriptive research. The research location was at Barru Regency Junior High School. This study used the cluster random sampling technique so that the research samples were SMPN 1 Barru, SMPN 2 Barru, SMPN 5 Barru, SMPN 10 Barru, SMPN 18 Barru, SMPN 24 Barru and SMPN 3 SATAP Barru. The total sample of the study was 564 students. Techniques of collecting data were questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of the study: (1) The level of students who correctly understood the ideology of Pancasila was 66.50%, (2) The level of students’ understanding of Pancasila values in daily life was 67.51%, (3) school activity programs in fostering students' understanding and attitudes towards Pancasila values including Civics education subjects as the mainstream, flag ceremonies, Intra-School Organizations (OSIS), Scouts, Heritage Flag Hoisting Troop (Paskibra), Youth Red Cross, School Health Unit and other extracurricular activities.

Motivasi memegang peranan yang sangat penting untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Motivasi kerja dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor antara lain kompensasi, pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat), serta pengembangan karir. Masih rendahnya motivasi kerja pegawai Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Kabupaten Barru menyebabkan tujuan organisasi belum optimal. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis: 1) pengaruh langsung kompensasi dan diklat terhadap pengembangan karir pegawai Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Barru, 2) pengaruh langsung kompensasi dan diklat terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Barru, 3) pengaruh tidak langsung kompensasi dan diklat terhadap motivasi kerja melalui pengembangan karir pegawai Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Barru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Lokasi penelitian pada Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Barru yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober sampai Nopember 2019. Sampel penelitian ditetapkan dengan teknik sampling jenuh yang mengambil seluruh populasi sebanyak 82 pegawai. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan metode analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) kompensasi dan diklat secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir pegawai Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Barru, 2) kompensasi dan diklat secara langsung berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Barru, 3) kompensasi dan diklat secara tidak langsung berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja melalui pengembangan karir pegawai Dinas PUPR Kabupaten Barru.

High exploitation of the blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) has significantly reduced its wild populations. The domestication process of this species has been started; however, its breeding program has not yet been successful. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the reproduction performance of intraspecific hybrids of blue swimming crab from Sorong (Papua) and Barru (South Sulawesi), Indonesia. P. pelagicus from Sorong has a bigger size, while the crab from Barru has a better reproduction performance, including fecundity and egg diameter. Hybridization was conducted between crabs from Sorong and Barru with different combinations of broodstock, namely: Barru female ><Barru male, (BF><BM); Barru female ><Sorong male (BF><SM); and Sorong female ><Barru male (SF><BM). The results showed no significant difference in the fecundity and egg diameter between the three hybridization trials. The number of successfully spawned broodstock from BF><BM, BF><SM, and SF><BM were 3, 3, and 2 broodstock, respectively. Meanwhile, the mean values of egg fecundity from BF><BM, BF><SM, and SF><BM were 117, 109, and 151 eggs/g BW, respectively. Furthermore, the mean values of broodstock fecundity per crab were 7,797 eggs, 10,103 eggs, and 10,605 eggs, while the mean values of egg diameter were 0.58 mm, 0.57 mm, and 0.62 mm, respectively. In conclusion, the intraspecific hybridization was successfully carried out between the Barru and Sorong crab populations showing no differences in the fecundity values and egg diameter between the three crosses. The successful spawning between female crabs from Sorong and male crabs from Barru was higher than that of female crabs from Barru and male crabs from Sorong.

Penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi, mengelompokkan dan memetakan sarana dan prasarana daya tarik wisata di Kabupaten Barru. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan survey, wawancara, dokumentasi dan kajian referensi. Data sekunder diperoleh dari Portal Geospasial Indonesia, Dinas Pariwisata dan Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Barru. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis spasial menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis. Penyajian data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Daya Tarik Wisata (DTW) Kabupaten Barru terdiri dari Alam, Budaya, Sejarah, Bahari dan Buatan. Zona 1 (Kecamatan Mallusetasi dan Soppeng Riaja) terdapat 10 DTW; Zona 2 (Kecamatan Balusu dan Kecamatan Barru) terdapat 12 DTW; Zona 3 (Kecamatan Tanete Rilau, Kecamatan Tanete Riaja dan Kecamatan Pujananting) terdapat 17 DTW. Inventarisasi Sarana dan Prasarara, Daya Tarik Wisata Kabupaten Barru berupa data atribut dan data spasial. Rekomendasi hasil temuan diintegrasikan dengan aplikasi android berupa Sistem Informasi serta website resmi Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Barru, sehingga dapat diakses oleh publik.

Nuestro proyecto pertenece a la industria de servicios, y consiste en una tienda especializada en la venta de jugos de frutas y vegetales. Los jugos naturales a base frutas y verduras, mejor conocidos como jugos verdes , está entrando en un período de rápida evolución, debido al cambio producido en los patrones de consumo en segmentos de la población panameña, cada vez más interesada en el consumo de alimentos naturales para mejorar sus hábitos alimenticios y salud. Además, este mismo segmento de personas optan por productos más prácticos, al no disponer de tiempo suficiente para su preparación. En Panamá existen algunas tiendas dedicadas a ofrecer jugos naturales de frutas y verduras, de la cual destaca GREEN BAR, la cual es percibida como la más especializada hasta el momento, adicional se encuentra ECO-FRUIT el cual adicional vende comida orgánica ligera, y FRESCHO, quien hace entregas a domicilio. La propuesta de valor radica en brindar una experiencia de consumo basada principalmente en servicio personalizado y la oferta de realizar las mezclas de frutas y vegetales al gusto del consumidor. El mercado objetivo son individuos comprendidos entre los 25 y 45 años, que tienen en común hábitos alimenticios y rutina de vida. Hemos identificado los siguientes segmentos: los pragmáticos y los racionales. Debido a que Barra Verde PTY es una marca totalmente nueva, el objetivo de este plan de mercadeo es: Generar conocimiento de marca y lograr que los consumidores asocien a Barra Verde PTY como la mejor experiencia de servicio en la categoría. Por lo tanto el posicionamiento a futuro, deseado es que Barra Verde PTY, se perciba como la mejor experiencia de compra en el mercado de Panamá en su categoría. Os Sistemas Aquíferos Bauru e Guarani, na área urbana do município de Bauru, apresentam-se em contato direto, diferentemente do que ocorre na maior parte da porção centro-oeste do estado de São Paulo, em que o Aquífero Serra Geral está entre eles. A partir da caracterização hidroquímica dos aquíferos, foi verificado que as águas do SAB são predominantemente ácidas e bicarbonatadas cálcicas, com provável dissolução de carbonatos e monossialitização de feldspatos, enquanto que as do SAG apresentam-se predominantemente básicas, bicarbonatadas sódicas, com provável precipitação de carbonatos e reações de troca catiônica. As concentrações de nitrato e cloreto apresentam-se maiores na porção central da área de estudo, e são características de influência antrópica. Em dois poços do SAG, as concentrações de cálcio, nitrato e cloreto são maiores e o valor de pH é menor que nas demais amostras deste aquífero; estes valores são similares aos obtidos para as águas do SAB; o que é sugestivo de conexão entre os dois aquíferos. Carbon dioxide (CO 2) is a known greenhouse gas. Due to the burning of fossil fuels by industrial and power plants the atmospheric concentration of CO 2 has been rising over the past 50 years. Carbon capture and sequestration provides a method to prevent CO 2 from being emitted into the atmosphere. Successful carbon sequestration will require the development of many pieces of technology including development of monitoring tools and techniques. An underground laser based monitoring system was built and tested at Montana State University (MSU) to measure sub-surface CO 2 concentrations at a sequestration site. The instrument uses differential absorption spectroscopy by temperature tuning a distributed feedback diode laser over several CO 2 absorption features located at 2.004 microns. The instrument utilizes photonic bandgap fibers for sub-surface spectroscopy CO 2 concentration measurements. The instrument was tested at a controlled release facility located on the MSU campus. The field and CO 2 release are managed by the Zero Emissions Research and Technology group at MSU. Three CO 2 injection tests were done over the coarse of two summers to simulate a fault or fracture line at a sequestration site. Results from all three tests are presented showing that the underground differential absorption instrument could be used to monitor sequestration sites.

Objetivo: Comparar as relações de custo-efetividade de duas terapias, Imunoglubulina Intravenosa (IgIV) e Plasmaferese (PE), no tratamento da Síndrome de Guillain-Barré sob a perspectiva do sistema público (SUS). O objetivo secundário foi avaliar a adesão às recomendações da Comissão de Medicamentos do HCPA Métodos: estudo transversal com análise econômica de pacientes tratados por Síndrome de Guillain-Barré no período de junho de 2003 a junho de 2008 no Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA). Foi realizada análise de custo-efetividade do emprego de IgIV e de PE nestes pacientes, pelo método de minimização de custos, considerando-se somente os custos diretos sanitários, fornecidos pelo sistema gerencial da instituição . Foram excluídos os pacientes que usaram outro tipo de tratamento associado ou isolado. Coletaram-se os dados através da revisão dos prontuários. A gravidade da doença na internação foi classificada como: doença leve, quando caminhar foi possível; doença moderada, quando caminhar foi impossível; doença grave, quando os pacientes necessitaram de ventilação assistida. A incapacidade na alta foi estabelecida pela escala de sete pontos de Hughes. A adesão às recomendações da Comissão de Medicamentos do HCPA, objetivo secundário, foi avaliada através da dose e o esquema de prescrição da IgIV. Resultados: Vinte e cinco participantes (2 a 70 anos) foram incluídos no estudo, cinco tratados com PE, empregando-se Albumina Humana como substituto do plasma, e 20 tratados com IgIV. O custo total do tratamento de um paciente com PE foi R$10.603,88 (± 2.978,12) e o de um que recebeu IgIV foi R$ 32.103,00 (± 21.454,24). O custo total da internação foi de R$45.027,14 (± 32.750,45) para os tratados com PE e de R$ 60.844,28 (±48.590,52) para os que receberam IgIV. Em relação ao desfecho clínico principal, melhora na escala de incapacidade de sete pontos, após o tratamento com uma das alternativas escolhida, a mediana dos pacientes que internaram com grau de gravidade 3 e que foram tratados com PE foi igual a dos que receberam IgIV. Em relação à permanência hospitalar, permanência em UTI e dias de Ventilação Mecânica, não houve diferença estatisticamente significativa entre os dois tratamentos. Conclusões: Quando comparados os custos médios das duas opções terapêuticas, uma delas aparece claramente com menor custo. Quando comparados os desfechos, após o emprego de cada opção terapêutica, estes não revelam diferença. Concluímos que, no HCPA, a opção pelo procedimento Plasmaferese é mais custo efetiva do que o emprego da IgIV.
Objectives: To compare the cost-effectiveness of two distinct therapies, Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIg) and Plasma Exchange (PE) in the treatment of Guillain-Barré Syndrome, concerning the public health care system. Compliance to the guidelines of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee of the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre was a secondary objective. Methods: A cross-sectional, economical analysis was conducted, including patients treated for GBS in the period from June, 2003 through June, 2008 in Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA). The cost-effectiveness of the use of IVIg and PE in such patients was studied through the cost minimization method, considering direct medical costs only (2008 currency), yield by the management of the institution. Patients receiving treatments other than PE or IVIg were excluded. Data were collected by chart reviews. Severity of disease on admittance was classified as follows: mild disease, when the patient was able to walk; moderate disease, when the patient was unable to walk, and severe disease, when assisted ventilation was required. Disability on discharge was established by the 7-point scale of Hughes. Compliance to the guidelines of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee was evaluated through the dose and prescription scheme of IVIg. Results: Twenty-five participants (2 to 70 years of age) were included in the study, 5 were submitted to treatment with PE, using human albumin as replacement for plasma, and 20 were treated with IVIg. The total treatment cost for PE in a single patient was US$6,058.85 (±1,701.78 SD), and the same expense for IVIg was US$18,344.57 (± 12,259.56 SD) (p = 0.035). Total inpatient cost was US$25,729.79 (± 18,714.54 SD) in the PE group, and US$34,768.16 (±27,766.01 SD) (p=0.530) in the IVIg group. The main clinical outcome was improvement in the 7-point disability grade scale. The median of that measure in patients admitted with a severity grade 3 treated either with PE and IVIg was the same. Secondary outcomes, such as in-hospital stay, ICU stay, and number of days on mechanical ventilation revealed no statistically significant difference between treatments. Conclusions: As the mean expenses of both therapeutic options are compared, one clearly stands-out as less onerous. Clinical outcomes, when compared, reveal no statistical difference after each treatment. We concluded that, in HCPA, plasma exchange is more cost-effective than intravenous immunoglobulin.

O uso incorreto de antimicrobianos nos hospitais tem impacto negativo sobre o prognóstico dos pacientes e está associado à emergência e disseminação de microorganismos multidroga-resistentes. Programas de supervisão do uso de antimicrobianos (PSA) têm sido instituídos com o objetivo de promover a qualidade da prescrição desses medicamentos no hospital. Nesse contexto, a identificação de padrões de incorreção na prescrição de antimicrobianos é uma ferramenta valiosa para os PSA, pois permite o direcionamento de ações educativas e restritivas. Com esse objetivo, foi realizado um estudo no Hospital Estadual Bauru, um hospital de ensino de 285 leitos ligado à Faculdade de Medicina de Botucatu, Universidade Estadual Paulista. O hospital possui um PSA ativo desde sua inauguração, em 2002. Foram selecionadas 25% das solicitações de antimicrobianos de uso parenteral do ano de 2005. Excluíram-se as solicitações para uso profilático. Todas as demais foram submetidas a análise, utilizando uma versão modificada de critérios clássicos propostos por Kunin & Jones. Análises uni e multivariadas foram realizadas para identificar preditores para incorreção em geral e para erros específicos. Prescrições consideradas “apropriadas” ou “provavelmente apropriadas” foram selecionadas como controles em todas as etapas do estudo. Em 963 solicitações incluídas no estudo, 34,6% apresentavam alguma incorreção. Os preditores gerais de erro foram: prescrição em fins de semana ou feriados (OR=1,67, IC95%=1,20-2,28, p=0,002), pacientes de Unidades de Terapia Intensiva(OR=1,57, IC95%=1,11-2,23, p=0,01), infecção peritoneal (OR=2,15, IC95%=1,27-3.65, p=0,004) ou de trato urinário (OR=1,89, IC95%=1,25-2,87, p=0,002), terapia com combinação de dois ou mais antimicrobanos (OR=1,72, IC95%=1,15-2,57, p=0,008) e prescrições incluindo penicilinas...
The inappropriate use of antimicrobials in hospitals has negative impact on patients’ outcomes and is associated with the emergence and spread of multidrug-resistant microorganisms. Antimicrobial stewardship programs (ASPs) have been instituted in order to improve the quality of prescriptions in hospitals. In this setting, the identification of patterns of inappropriate antimicrobial prescription is a valuable tool that allows ASPs to identify priorities for directing educative/restrictive polices. With this purpose, a study was conducted in Hospital Estadual Bauru (HEB), a teaching hospital with 285 beds affiliated to Faculdade de Medicina de Botucatu (Botucatu School of Medicine), Universidade Estadual Paulista (São Paulo State University). HEB maintains an active ASP since it was opened, in 2002. We selected 25% of requests of parenteral antimicrobials (RPAs) from year 2005 for analysis. Prescriptions for prophylactic purposes were excluded. All other RPAs were classified according to a modification of classic Kunin & Jones categories. Univariate and multivariable analysis was performed to identify predictors of general inappropriateness and of specific prescription errors. Prescriptions classified as “aproppriate’’ or “probably appropriate” were selected as controls in all stages of the study. Among 963 RPAs included in out study, 34.6% were inappropriate. General predictors of inappropriateness were: prescription on weekends/holidays (OR=1.67, 95%CI=1.20-2.28, p=0.002), patient from Intensive Care Unit (OR=1.57, 95%CI=1.11-2.23, p=0.01), peritoneal (OR=2.15, 95%CI=1.27-3.65, p=0.004) or urinary tract infection (OR=1.89, 95%CI=1.25-2.87, p=0.002), combination therapy with two or more antimicrobials (OR=1.72, 95%CI=1.15-2.57, p=0.008) and prescriptions including penicillins (OR=2.12, 95%CI=1.39-3.25, p=0.001) or first-generation cephalosporins...
