Bone marrow study is of fundamental importance in most haematological disorders including haematological malignancies, carried out to permit cytological assessment and for other specialized investigations. Introduction: Delayed diagnoses and treatments of breast cancer (BC) have been described as a consequence of the COVID19 crisis. Some cases may even progress to a situation of functional derangements or so-called visceral crises before the start of the treatment. A 46 yr old Caucasian woman has been diagnosed as having a congenital deficiency of platelet a-granules (gray platelet syndrome - GPS) associated with an extensive idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF).
