Here, a time compound process gives the underlying loss index before and after whose losses are revaluated by inhomogeneous exponential Levy process factor. For this paper, an exponential Levy process is used to evaluate the well-known European call option in order to price Property Claim Services catastrophe insurance based on catastrophe index.

Abstract The HP2 nozzle assembly of one of the process platform failed by plastic deformation of the vanes after an operating life of 20,000 hours. The vanes were made of alloy 31. The failed vanes were subjected to detailed failure analysis by conducting metallography, hardness testing, energy dispersive spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction and electron probe micro analysis. This paper estimates the impact of catastrophic natural disasters on economic growth using an event study methodology on a country panel dataset from 1970 to 2019. The severity of the events is determined by the associated mortality. We find that affected economies which, given the way natural disasters are ranked, comprise mainly developing countries, suffer an average loss between 2.1 and 3.7 percentage points (p.p.). Based on two hundred and nineteen interviews and qualitative methodologies conducted in July 2019 in the Somali region of Ethiopia, this study examines the drivers of displacement in pastoralist communities of the arid and semi-arid lowland areas of Ethiopia.
