MONARCHIA E MONASTERO NEL MEZZOGIORNO: L'ABBAZIA DI SANTA SOFIA, BENEVENTO E LA STAUFENL'articolo esamina i rapporti del monastero di Santa Sofia con i Re del regno di Sicilia dal 1189 fino a dopo la morte del Re Manfredi nel 1126. Sebbene Benevento fosse una città indipendente, regolata dal Papa e non dal Re, l'estensione dei possedimenti dell'Abbazia nel regno portò, inevitabilmente, ad avere con esso rapporti assai importanti. Santa Sofia ha guadagnato benefici per il suo sostegno ad Enrico VI durante la conquista del regno. Lo studio si concentra su quelle terre a lei cedute dall'imperatore come premio dell'appoggio ricevuto, e in particolare sulla baronia di Finicchio. Federico II negli anni 1220 sostenne e difese gli interessi dell'abbazia ma, necessariamente, i problemi finanziari e i contrasti tra il Papa e l'imperatore dopo il 1239 misero in seria difficoltà Santa Sofia e portarono alla alienazione di gran parte della sua proprietà. Finicchio, posseduto da uno dei principali avversari di Manfredi, fu preso e ceduto ad uno dei parenti del re. Nè questa, nè altre proprietà donate o cedute da Enrico VI furono recuperate dopo il 1266, ed infatti le terre di Santa Sofia non furono mai più ricostituite su quella base patrimoniale che era esistita agli inizi del XIII sec. In Appendice sono pubblicati 6 documenti inediti.

Анотація:

PbS nanocrystals was synthesized by a heterogeneous reaction of hydrogen sulfide gas and lead nitrate solution containing EDTA in ethanol. The influenceof initial molar concentration ratio of EDTA/Pb (NO3)2 (CEDTA/CPb (NO3)2), volume ratio of ethanol/water (Vethanol/VH2O), pH value and flux of H2S on the particle size of PbS were investigated. The structure, morphology, particle size, and particle size distribution ranges of PbS were characterized by XRD, FE-SEM, and laser particle size analyzer, respectively. Increasing CEDTA/CPb (NO3)2, Vethanol/VH2O, and pH value, as well as decreasing the flux of H2S decrease the particle size of PbS. PbS nanocrystals have an average particle size of 69 nm, a narrow size distribution, and a quasi-spherical shape when CEDTA/CPb (NO3)2 is 1, Vethanol/VH2O is 1, pH is 3.5, and the flux of H2S is 20 ml/min.

Анотація:

Zr-containing SiO2 and their parent catalysts were fabricated with different methods using EDTA chelation and template-assist. The activity of the catalysts was explored in crude palm oil (CPO) hydrocracking, conducted under a continuous system micro-cylindrical reactor. The conversion features and the selectivity towards biofuel products were also examined. The physicochemical of catalysts, such as structure phase, functional groups, surface morphologies, acidity features, and particle size, were investigated. The study showed that the template method promoted the crystalline porous catalysts, whereas the chelate method initiated the non-porous structure. The catalysts’ acidity features of SiO2 and SiO2/Zr were affected by the preparation, which revealed that the EDTA chelate-assisted method provided higher acidity features compared with the template method. The CPO hydrocracking study showed that the SiO2/Zr-CEDTA provided the highest catalytic activity towards the hydrocracking process, with 87.37% of conversion attained with 66.29%.wt of liquid product. This catalyst exhibited selectivity towards bio-jet (36.88%), bio-diesel (31.43%), and bio-gasoline (26.80%). The reusability study revealed that the SiO2/Zr-CEDTA had better stability towards CPO conversion compared with SiO2/Zr-CEDTA, with a low decrease in catalyst performance at three consecutive runs.

Анотація:

Gas turbine engines exhibit very high maintenance costs. Moreover, in the case of aero applications an in-flight engine incidence, shall, by all means, be avoided, a condition that drives total maintenance costs even higher. A measure in favor of balancing these costs is to monitor continuously the variation of engine performance data recorded during flight, establish methods to deduce useful information regarding the engine “health” status and, as a result, take appropriate actions to maintain a good engine operating condition. The current work presents such a method tailored on the “F100-PW-229” engine that is operated by the ellenic Air Force as the propulsion system of the “F-16 block 52M” aircraft [3]. CEDATS and MS Excel were the computational tools used for the current engine performance study. CEDATS is a software developed for the engine users. It provides basic data trend monitoring functions and engine fault warnings. It is well known that there is always space for improvement for such health monitoring tools since there are cases where engine operating faults are not captured. Within the frame of the current work, a data post – processing method on the engine performance data time series was applied using MS Excel, in order to raise early warnings of an uncaptured compressor operating fault.

Türkler, Ġslâmiyet‟le ilk tanıĢtıklarında kendilerini asrın ihtiyaçlarına cevap verecek bir eğitim sisteminin içerisinde bulmuĢlardı. Örgün eğitim bir taraftan devam ederken dinî alanda yetiĢkin eğitimi olarak da nitelendirilen yaygın eğitimin de devam ettiğini tarihi süreç içerisinde görmekteyiz. Asr-ı Saadet Dönemi ve sonrasında devam eden süreçte Birûnî, Farabî, Ali KuĢçu gibi âlimlerin ve filozoflar yaĢadıkları dönem için çağdaĢ eğitimin birer örneği olarak görülmektedir. Fakat zamanla siyasi kargaĢalar, Orta Asya‟daki otorite boĢluğu ve diğer sebepler bu eğitimi sekteye uğratmıĢtır. 16. asırda baĢlayan ve hızlı bir Ģekilde yayılan Rus iĢgali de Müslüman-Türk topluluklarının içe kapanmasına neden olmuĢtur.Çarlık dönemi Rusya‟sında Rusya Türkleri arasında modern eğitimin 19. yy.ın ortalarında baĢladığı bilinmektedir. Özellikle bulunduğu konum itibariyle Osmanlı Devleti ve Avrupa‟ya yakın olan ve buradaki geliĢmelerden haberdar olan Azerbaycan‟da modern eğitim sisteminin baĢladığını görmekteyiz. Seyyid Azim ġirvânî ve Mirza ġefî‟ gibi aydınlar usul-i cedit tarzında eğitimi mekteplerde uygulamıĢlar, ders kitapları yazmıĢlar ama bu eğitim sistemini sistematik olarak yaygın bir hâle getirememiĢlerdir. Batılı anlamda yeni bir eğitim anlayıĢını öngören usul-i cedit eğitim sistemini ilk defa sistematik bir biçimde ortaya koyan Kırımlı gazeteci, yazar, düĢünür, pedagog Ġsmail Gaspıralı‟dır. Gaspıralı sadece usul-i cedit eğitimin yaygınlaĢması için çaba sarf etmez. Aynı zamanda yetiĢkin eğitimi ya da halk eğitimi diye adlandırdığımız yaygın eğitimin de mimarıdır. Özellikle edebî eserlerinde bunu açıkça görmekteyiz. Burada yaygın eğitim olarak kastedilen eğitim, halkın uyanması ve modernleĢmesi için toplumun yeniden inĢa edilmesinde uygulanan metotlardır.

Objetivo. Motivar la reflexión de profesionales de ciencias sociales especialmente trabajadores sociales, con respecto a los retos del proceso de construcción de paz, con justicia social. Metodología. Para elaborarlo se consultó: 1) la investigación que en el tema se ha adelantado en el grupo de investigación Cedat. 2) Las experiencias de proyección social del centro Cedat. 3) Literatura sobre el tema de justicia social y paz. Resultado. En el texto se derivan responsabilidades y retos, presentes y futuros para trabajo social, con relación al proceso de transición hacia la construcción de paz con justicia social. Conclusión. El trabajo social debe: 1) Involucrar una concepción plural de justicia social (restaurativa, redistributiva y justicia como reconocimiento). 2) Considerar la ciudadanía y la participación social como: campos de encuentro inter y transdisciplinar; objetos de acción, disputa política e investigación. 3) Gestar compromiso colectivo con la transición.

The Ringing Cedars of Russia Movement: Reconstructions of Russian Cultural IdentityThe paper presents the results of ethnographic research conducted in Russia in 2008, in Altai Krai, and in 2010, in its European part. The researcher observed the popularity of the new social movement known as the Ringing Cedars of Russia. Its formation was inspired by The Ringing Cedars Series, where the author, Vladimir Megre, chronicles his meetings with Anastasia, a woman with mysterious powers, in Siberian taiga. She leads him into a world of cosmic consciousness. She is able to solve even most complex social, health and environmental problems.The author refers to the Old Russian spiritual tradition – the institution of starets, influenced by Greek monasticism. It is related to the deeply rooted tradition of Russian apocalyptic and messianic elements, the idea of Russia’s great mission as the Holy Rus’, and the idea of Moscow as the Third Rome.Anastasia is also presented as an alien. She arrived from another planet on a spacecraft in order to pass on to people the saving message. Anastasia’s teaching is mostly focused on ecology which is strictly connected with feminism.A recurring theme throughout all of the books is creating the “Kin’s Domain”, or “Space of Love”, that is, a patch of family-owned land which is developed into a self-sustained type of mini farm. The series inspired many readers worldwide to abandon their old lifestyles in pursuit of a purer existence. These developments are commonly undertaken as part of an eco-village and they celebrate freedom from the unnatural pressure and stress of modern life. The aim is also to revive Slavic traditions (holidays, customs and habits).

Objectives: The objective of this study is to assess the impact of CEDIT (French Committee for the Assessment and Dissemination of Technological Innovations) recommendations on the introduction of technological innovations within the AP-HP (Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris), the French hospital network to which this body is attached.Methods: In 2002, a study based on semidirective interviews of fourteen people affected by these recommendations and a case study relating to thirteen recommendations issued between 1995 and 1998 were conducted.Results: The CEDIT is very scientifically reputable among interviewees. There is generally widespread interest for the recommendations. They are used as decision-making tools by administrative staff and as negotiating instruments by doctors in their dealings with management. Based on the case study, ten of thirteen recommendations had an impact on the introduction of the technology in health establishments. One recommendation appears not to have had an impact. Furthermore, the impact of two technologies was impossible to assess.Conclusions: This study highlights the significant impact of recommendations arising from a structure that is attached to a hospital network and the good match between CEDIT's objectives and its assignments.

Анотація:

Face detection algorithm based on a cascade of ensembles of decision trees (CEDT) is presented. The new approach allows detecting faces other than the front position through the use of multiple classifiers. Each classifier is trained for a specific range of angles of the rotation head. The results showed a high rate of productivity for CEDT on images with standard size. The algorithm increases the area under the ROC-curve of 13% compared to a standard Viola-Jones face detection algorithm. Final realization of given algorithm consist of 5 different cascades for frontal/non-frontal faces. One more thing which we take from the simulation results is a low computational complexity of CEDT algorithm in comparison with standard Viola-Jones approach. This could prove important in the embedded system and mobile device industries because it can reduce the cost of hardware and make battery life longer.

Resumen: Este artículo revisa el uso de prácticas creativas promovidas por agentes culturales que compiten discursivamente con la racionalidad instrumental imperante en las sociedades modernas contemporáneas. Particularmente, los casos que aquí se exploran son acciones colaborativas llevadas a cabo por dos asociaciones de la ciudad mexicana de Guadalajara: el despacho de urbanismo CUADRA y Fundación CEDAT. Se analizan, por un lado, iniciativas de intervención artística a través del grafiti como forma de creación de identidad; y por el otro, la exposición y comunicación realizada a través del documental como herramientas de reactivación y socialización de espacios públicos.Palabras clave: agencia cultural, consumo cultural, capital social, espacio público.Abstract: This article offers a critical route for studying creative practices challenging instrumental reason in contemporary modern societies. Particularly, this article explores a couple of cultural agency strategies undertaken by civic associations in Guadalajara, Mexico: the urban studies agency CUADRA and CEDAT Foundation. On the one hand, a discussion is held with regard to the revitalization of collective identities through the production of collaborative graffiti paintings. On the other hand, it presents an analysis about the strategic use of video documentaries for communicating participatory civic actions and its function to restore public spaces. Abstract. A database (Italian acronym CEDIT) of earthquake-induced ground failures in Italy is presented, and the related content is analysed. The catalogue collects data regarding landslides, liquefaction, ground cracks, surface faulting and ground changes triggered by earthquakes of Mercalli epicentral intensity 8 or greater that occurred in the last millennium in Italy. As of January 2013, the CEDIT database has been available online for public use (http://www.ceri.uniroma1.it/cn/gis.jsp ) and is presently hosted by the website of the Research Centre for Geological Risks (CERI) of the Sapienza University of Rome. Summary statistics of the database content indicate that 14% of the Italian municipalities have experienced at least one earthquake-induced ground failure and that landslides are the most common ground effects (approximately 45%), followed by ground cracks (32%) and liquefaction (18%). The relationships between ground effects and earthquake parameters such as seismic source energy (earthquake magnitude and epicentral intensity), local conditions (site intensity) and source-to-site distances are also analysed. The analysis indicates that liquefaction, surface faulting and ground changes are much more dependent on the earthquake source energy (i.e. magnitude) than landslides and ground cracks. In contrast, the latter effects are triggered at lower site intensities and greater epicentral distances than the other environmental effects.

Basado en la combinación de herramientas teóricas desde la perspectiva del Diseño de Tareas y Criterios de Adecuación Didáctica, el CEDT da como resultado una poderosa e interesante herramienta para guiar el trabajo con tareas matemáticas y ha sido un espacio privilegiado para estudios y discusiones en torno al conocimiento didáctico y matemático; adquisición de experiencias; conocimientos y reflexiones para los cambios en la práctica pedagógica. Abstract. A database (Italian acronym CEDIT) of earthquake-induced ground failures in Italy is presented, and the related content is analysed. The catalogue collects data regarding landslides, liquefaction, ground cracks, surface faulting and ground-level changes triggered by earthquakes of Mercalli intensity 8 or greater that occurred in the last millennium in Italy. As of January 2013, the CEDIT database has been available online for public use (URL: http://www.ceri.uniroma1.it/cn/index.do?id=230&page=55) and is presently hosted by the website of the Research Centre for Geological Risks (CERI) of the "Sapienza" University of Rome. Summary statistics of the database content indicate that 14% of the Italian municipalities have experienced at least one earthquake-induced ground failure and that landslides are the most common ground effects (approximately 45%), followed by ground cracks (32%) and liquefaction (18%). The relationships between ground effects and earthquake parameters such as seismic source energy (earthquake magnitude and epicentral intensity), local conditions (site intensity) and source-to-site distances are also analysed. The analysis indicates that liquefaction, surface faulting and ground-level changes are much more dependent on the earthquake source energy (i.e. magnitude) than landslides and ground cracks. In contrast, the latter effects are triggered at lower site intensities and greater epicentral distances than the other environmental effects.

Přístup českého právního řádu je pak porovnáván s řešením, ke kterému bylo přistoupeno v obdobném případě počátkem devadesátých let minulého století v Německu. Genres are gendered, and the epic genre is emphatically masculine, foregrounding males as protagonists and male preoccupations as its proper concerns, and in general validating and glorifying masculine spheres of activity and masculine values and priorities. Self-conscious commentary on this defining feature of epic is readily found within the genre — when Numanus Remulus advises the effeminate Trojans, ‘sinite arma uiris et cedite ferro’ (Aen. 9.620), the echo of arma uirumque has the effect of implicating the whole epic in his male chauvinism; only real men have a right to feature in the Aeneid, Remulus seems to suggest — but is most familiar from confrontation between epic and lower genres, love elegy in particular.

ZusammenfassungMit der Zunahme der Inzidenz chronisch entzündlicher Darmerkrankungen (CED), insbesondere des Morbus Crohn im Kindes- und Jugendalter, richtete sich die Aufmerksamkeit der Wissenschaft auf die Merkmale der pädiatrischen CED. V. a. längere Krankheitszeiten, Schmerzen und Untergewicht behindern die körperliche, seelische und schulische Entwick-lung. Kinder- und Jugendärzte sollten mit den Besonderheiten des Krankheitsverlaufs und den Komplikationen der CED in der Pädiatrie vertraut sein, um den Betroffenen zu helfen, ihr Entwicklungspotenzial voll auszuschöpfen. In westlichen Ländern entstanden Patientenregister, die aufgrund institutioneller Bindungen meist nur einen Teil der Population erfassen. Mit dem sächsischen Kinder-CED-Register wurde 2000 ein flächendeckendes Dokumentationssystem für den Verlauf der CED im Kindesalter etabliert. Auf dieser Erfahrung aufbauend wurde 2004 von der Gesellschaft für pädiatrische Gastroenterologie und Ernährung (GPGE) das deutschsprachige Register CEDATA ins Leben gerufen, das mittlerweile die weltweit größte Zahl von Kindern und Jugendlichen mit CED in einer Kohorte vereint.

Abstract The temperature measurement is essential during the physical examination since it helps to detect abnormalities on animal health. In addition, it should be done in the shortest possible time to avoid stress. The objective of this research is to calculate the correlation between rectal temperature and the superficial body temperature by means of a digital infrared thermometer. Ten alpacas huacaya from the center of development Alpaquero (CEDAT-DESCOSUR), located in Arequipa region at 4,365 m.a.s.l, and eight alpacas huacaya of the zootechnical and technological unit (UZYT) of the Universidad Cientifica del Sur, located in Lima at 0 m.a.s.l., were used. Rectal temperature measurement (RECTAL) was done with a veterinary clinical thermometer for one minute. Superficial body temperature measurement was conducted with infrared thermometer model CENTER 350®, at a distance of between 20 to 25 cm. Six measuring points were established by infrared thermometer: the outer zone of the nose (ON), the inner zone of the nose (IN), the extreme zone of ear (EE), middle zone of ear (ME), lower zone of the ear (LE) and the belly of the animal (BE). Rectal temperatures were measured at the same time as superficial body temperatures. Pearson’s correlation coefficient and graphs were calculated using an R software package called “CORRGRAM.” The results are presented in Table 1. Mean and deviation standard for rectal temperature from CEDAT-DESCOSUR and UZYT were 38.03 ± 0.37 and 37.46 ± 0.35 ° C, respectively. The results showed that there is a major correlation between rectal temperature and the temperature of the middle of the ear and the outer zone of the nose. In conclusion, there is a highly significant correlation between rectal temperature and superficial body temperature in some areas of the body, being an alternative option for the prediction of temperature in alpacas.

The analysis concerns different legal institutions functioning in various legal systems under the name of "three-dimensional property" (3D-Property). It also covers the existing proposals for the regulation of this institution, currently unknown to Polish civil law. Being an exception to the rule of superficies solo cedit, the so-called ‘strata ownership’ would require significant changes to the regulations governing the subject of ownership and other rights in rem, as well as the adjustment of the relations between the owner of ‘space’ and objects within it and the owner of the land. In this regard, possible constructions were presented, recalling the innovative and original solutions that were proposed in codification works in the 1930s.

Se evaluó la temperatura infrarroja corporal de 50 alpacas en un hato de 155 alpacas Huacaya macho en el Centro de Desarrollo Alpaquero (CEDAT – Toccra) en Arequipa, Perú. Se utilizó un termómetro infrarrojo sobre las fosas nasales, zona interna de la oreja, zona media de la oreja y vientre y un termómetro rectal para medir la temperatura corporal, Además, se registró la temperatura ambiental. Se buscó determinar mediante regresión el mejor modelo predictivo de temperatura corporal en alpacas. Los modelos predictivos mostraron que las variables de temperatura de la zona de la oreja interna y temperatura ambiental dan una mejor predicción de la temperatura corporal en alpacas. Se concluye que es posible predecir la temperatura corporal usando termografía infrarroja.

Transformer-based approaches have shown good results in image captioning tasks. However, current approaches have a limitation in generating text from global features of an entire image. Therefore, we propose novel methods for generating better image captioning as follows: (1) The Global-Local Visual Extractor (GLVE) to capture both global features and local features. (2) The Cross Encoder-Decoder Transformer (CEDT) for injecting multiple-level encoder features into the decoding process. GLVE extracts not only global visual features that can be obtained from an entire image, such as size of organ or bone structure, but also local visual features that can be generated from a local region, such as lesion area. Given an image, CEDT can create a detailed description of the overall features by injecting both low-level and high-level encoder outputs into the decoder. Each method contributes to performance improvement and generates a description such as organ size and bone structure. The proposed model was evaluated on the IU X-ray dataset and achieved better performance than the transformer-based baseline results, by 5.6% in BLEU score, by 0.56% in METEOR, and by 1.98% in ROUGE-L.

Dagli anni ‘90 la realizzazione dei quartieri residenziali pubblici, avvenuta tra gli anni '50 e '70, ha ceduto il passo in buona parte delle città italiane ad interventi di riqualificazione, non solo fisica ma anche sociale, dei grandi complessi realizzati nei decenni precedenti, spesso percorsi da processi di degrado che ne hanno stigmatizzato negativamente l’immagine. I tre casi presentati nell’articolo descrivono diverse ed esemplari modalità di intervento pubblico o in partnership pubblico-privato, per la riqualificazione integrata di quartieri periferici: mentre due di essi (PRU via Artom e CdQ Sant'Eusebio) utilizzano in modo nuovo alcuni strumenti attuativi innovativi nelle modalità di finanziamento pubblico e nell’iter procedurale introdotti negli anni '90 –i cosiddetti “programmi complessi”-, il terzo caso (Villaggio Barona) propone, attraverso un intervento di dimensioni quantitativamente limitate e di iniziativa sostanzialmente privata, la riqualificazione di un ampio settore urbano in crisi di cui il “quartiere” diviene il nuovo centro spaziale e sociale. Dei casi si ricostruisce, oltre la contestualizzazione negli ambiti urbani di riferimento, l’insieme delle azioni di accompagnamento o di partecipazione che hanno teso a superare le situazioni di conflittualità che spesso compromettono l’efficacia di questi programmi.

Executive functions are a set of psychological processes that are necessary for the cognitive control of behavior: selecting and successfully monitoring behaviors that facilitate the attainment of certain goals. These skills are necessary to guide learning of new information. Core executive function (CEF) are inhibitory control, working memory and cognitive flexibility. They regulate and control other skills and behaviors, and also have influence on more basic skills such as attention, memory systems, and praxis. Executive functions allow setting goals and carrying them out through planning and monitoring, keeping inhibited thoughts, behaviors and emotions that interfere. This research consists of determining neuropsychological EF profiles in different clinical populations evaluated with tablet-based test. Two batteries developed by CEDETI UC were applied: Yellow Red and TENI (Infant Neuropsychological Assessment Test). The sample consists of 175 argentine children, between 7 and 12 years old, divided in two groups, clinical and control. The obtained scores show the importance of distinguishing profiles between these three CEF within the clinical population comparing with a typical developing group. The overall index obtained differentiates the groups best. Children with dyscalculia, autistic spectrum disorder and borderline intellectual disability obtain significantly lower scores having greater difficulties in EF.

Aim. To determine the prevalence of anemia and its association with disease severity in children and adolescents with IBD. Methods. CEDATA-GPGE is a registry for pediatric patients with IBD in Germany and Austria from 90 specialized centers. As markers of disease severity, analysis included patient self-assessment on a Likert scale (1–5; 1 = very good) and physicians’ general assessment (0 = no activity to 4 = severe disease) and the disease indices. Anemia was defined as hemoglobin concentration below the 3rd percentile. Results. Prevalence of anemia was 65.2% in CD and 60.2% in UC. Anemic CD and UC patients showed significantly worse self-assessment than patients without anemia (average ± standard deviation; CD: 3.0 ± 0.9 versus 2.5 ± 0.9, p<0.0001; UC: 2.9 ± 0.9 versus 2.3 ± 0.9, p<0.0001). Accordingly, physicians’ general assessment (PGA) was significantly worse in anemic than in nonanemic patients in CD (p<0.0001) and UC (p<0.0001). PCDAI in anemic CD, p<0.0001, and PUCAI in anemic UC patients, p<0.0001, were significantly higher than in nonanemic patients. 40.0% of anemic CD and 47.8% of anemic UC patients received iron during follow-up. Conclusion. Almost 2/3 of pediatric IBD patients are anemic. Patients’ self-assessment and disease severity as determined by PGA and activity indices are worse in anemic patients. Contrastingly, only a minority received iron therapy.

Анотація:

The article refers to the legal status of a building which was constructed encroaching the border of neighbouring land. In such a case part of the building is placed on one real estate and the other part on another real estate, belonging to someone else. In legal doctrine and jurisprudence three possible solutions of this problem were proposed. According to the first approach, the whole building becomes a component of the „starting” real estate. According to the second approach the part of the building positioned on another’s land becomes part of this land and therfore property of this land’s owner. According to the third approach – until proper land servitude is established (building servitude), the second approach should be adopted and after the servitude is established – the first approach. The author of this article adopts the second approach, pointing out that among many arguments in this discussion, superficies solo cedit rule is of decisive significance.

Abstract Divided ownership gives rise to a number of problems. The reintroduction of the superficies solo cedit principle and the superficiary right of building into the Czech law does not, of course, mean the return of feudal relationships. However, it should be reminded that it disrupts indivisibility (exclusivity, completeness, limitlessness) of ownership, which is traditionally seen as the foundation of ownership right. The authors use primarily comparative and historical methods in their research on this topic. In its today form, we understand divided ownership as a simplification that serves as ideological abstraction for a situation where the owner is subject to a long-term limitation by a very broad in rem right of another, which is hereditary and alienable. In this context we talk about three approaches to divided ownership in jurisprudence: (a) it does not exist at all; (b) it is limited solely to the feudal era; (c) it is a general term without relation to any specific social situation.

Abstract The ancient history of the concept of condominium and the particular attitude towards the right of ownership of an apartment has attracted worldwide recognition for this type of property. The concept of condominium is based on three components: (1) individual ownership of an apartment; (2) joint possession of common property of a plot of land and parts of a building; and (3) membership in an owners’ association. An apartment in a condominium is an exception to the principle of superficies solo cedit in property law. In this case, the rights of ownership of owners of apartments in a condominium—the rights of ownership of a number of persons—are accumulated with regard to a plot of land. This article analyses, on the one hand, the peculiarities of apartment ownership in condominiums, Georgian legislation—which is the result of the reception of German civil law, and, on the other hand, the court practice developed on these issues in Georgian law.

The ‘accessio’ (accession) in the Terminology of Roman Private LawSummaryThe term accessio (accession) in the terminology of Roman private law did not only denote union and confusion of things. It was a very general term used for defining various cases of property acquisition through union, growth of property, and it determined addition of a new obligation to an old one or addition of a supplementary contract, person or object to the obligation.In the Roman Law literature the term accessio is predominantly used for union of two things in accordance with the principle accessio cedit principali, i.e. the increase falls to the share of the principal.Moreover, the term accessio also denoted adding the duration of ownership of an object by the predecessor (accessio possessionis) or simply adding the duration (accessio temporis). In the sources for the Roman Law accessio temporis and possessionis are used interchangeably for determining specific actual states, which resolve issues connected with accession of ownership duration of the predecessor to the ownership duration of the last owner. Similarly in lexicons, accessio temporis is presented as a synonym of accessio possessionis. The aforementioned accession of ownership duration [of the predecessor by his successor under specific title was permissible with interdict aimed at protection against infringement of ownership of movable objects (interdictum utrubi), with prescription (usucapio) and charge of long time ownership (longi temporis praescriptio).Furthermore, accession also meant accessio personae that is addition of a person, i.e. additional creditor who, beside the principal creditor, could collect repayment of debt from debtor (adstipulator), or a person who additionally, beside the principal debtor, pledged to the creditor to repay the debt (adpromissor), or it is addition of a new obligation to an old one by means of contract of guaranty (fideiussio). With accessio personae, similarly to union of things in accordance with the principle of accessio cedit principali, there had to be two things, one of them determined as principal and the other - additional. Obviously, here occur two obligations, one treated as principal, and the other as additional or accessory.Moreover, accession also means accessio rei, that is addition of new article of service to obligation, that the debtor could render alternatively with the previous, which was possible with alternative obligation (obligatio alternativa) and alternative authorization (facultas alternativa).

Se tuvo el propósito de conocer las característicasde los aspectos vocacionales presentes en un grupo de 12jóvenes en situación de consumos problemáticos, que al momentodel estudio tenían entre 20 a 30 años de edad. Estos participantesrealizaban tratamiento en el Centro de Integración y Tratamiento(CEDIT) y en el Programa Puente, ambos pertenecientes a la Secretaríade Adicciones del Gobierno de la Provincia de Salta.El objetivo del artículo es sentar algunas bases sobre la orientaciónvocacional para este tipo de poblaciones, además de cuestionar prejuiciossociales sobre los efectos de los consumos problemáticos enla subjetividad.Entre los principales hallazgos se encontró que los aspectos vocacionalesestán obturados por una dificultad para la representación delfuturo y la construcción del proyecto de vida. Posiblemente la relaciónque establece el sujeto con la sustancia de consumo intervieneen lo vocacional.

Profits, as one of the ultimate goals of business operations, plays a crucial role in business decision making process. Based on the negative correlation between warehousing costs and distribution costs, this paper introduces urban development coefficient and identifies the cost-effective distance of transport (CEDT) for urban distribution centers using quantitative calculation method and qualitative analysis including center of gravity model. In addition, with land availability and urban traffic control measures as related constraints, this paper identifies the locations of urban distribution centers and conducts an empirical analysis using Jiujiang City of Jiangxi Province as an example.

La investigación fue ejecutada en el Centro de Desarrollo Alpaquero Toccra CEDAT– DESCO, ubicado en el Departamento de Arequipa; con el objetivo de cuantificar la densidad de fibras (DenFib), densidad de conductos pilosos (DenCP) y relación fibras/conductos (Fib/CP), así como estimar el grado de relación entre dichas características. Se evaluaron 344 alpacas de diferente edad y sexo. Para cuantificar las características indicadas se utilizó el procedimiento y equipo denominado FIBER DEN. La evaluación en cada animal se realizó en cinco lugares a nivel del costillar medio, capturando imágenes de 1mm2 de área. Los datos fueron analizados en un diseño completamente al azar con un arreglo factorial 4x2, utilizando el software SAS versión 9.4. Para evaluar las relaciones entre densidad de fibra y conductos pilosos, se determinó el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. Los promedios ± error estándar (EE) para DenFib, DenCP y Fib/CP obtenidos fueron de 24,75±0,30 fibras/mm2 7,83±0,12 conductos pilosos/mm2 y 3,25±0,03 fibras por conducto piloso, encontrándose afectados por la edad y sexo DenFib, DenCP pero la Fib/CP es solo afectado por la edad. La correlación entre densidad de fibra y densidad de conductos pilosos fue positiva y moderadamente alta (r=0,78) pero entre DenCP y Fib/CP fue negativa (r=-0,56). Se concluye que a mayor edad la DenFib y DenCP disminuyen y que los machos tienen mayor DenFib y DenCP, existiendo una fuerte relación directa entre ellas, pero inversa entre la DenCP y Fib/CP

Com explica a la introducció, l’editor de l’obra, el catedràtic i director del CEDAT Antoni Pigrau, tots dos textos tenen en consideració valors i principis procedents del món indígena per tal de formular una proposta política capaç d’implementar aquest nou model. Un paradigma diferent de l’Occidental, que suposi un canvi substancial en la relació societat-entorn i que porti, en definitiva, a assolir allò que en termes indígenes s’anomena el “buen vivir” (la utopia Sumak Kawsay).
