The purpose of this note is to offer some corrections and supplements to the paper of Lohaj et al. (2013), to prove the validity of recently described trechine genera in Serbia, and to comment on other erroneous facts presented in the analyzed paper. In particular, we will show that the taxonomical remarks on the genus Duvalius Delarouz?e, 1859, are wrong. A new species of endogean leptodirine leiodids (Magdelainella studenicae sp. n.) from the valley of the Studenica River, village of Milice, near Usce in Southwest Serbia, is diagnosed and described. This new species differs clearly from all other closely related taxa. Magdelainella Jeannel belongs to a phyletic lineage which includes three more genera: Knirschiella Gu?orguiev, Kosaniniella S. The thorough analysis of a pseudoscorpion sample collected in the Jama pod Gažnovcem Pit, Stilja, near Vrgorac, Dalmatia (Croatia) resulted in establishing a new pseudoscorpion taxon – Neobisium curcici n. sp. The main diagnostic features of the type specimens studied are illustrated, carefully analysed and compared to the closest congeners. The taxonomic interrelationships and the geographic distribution of the new pseudoscorpion species are briefly discussed.

A new species of troglobitic false scorpion, Roncus bosniensis n. sp. (Neobisiidae, Pseudoscorpiones), is described from inside an underground habitat, the Jama Pored Puta Pit, nr. Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The analyzed pseudoscorpion proves to differ from all other congeners, but is closest to R. hajnehaj Curcic &amp; Dimitrijevic. It is possible that the subterranean pseudoscorpion analyzed represents a relict of an old tropical faunal pattern of the Mediterranean.

One new species - Roncus zburatorul n. sp. - is described; supplementary descriptions of the hitherto unknown male of R. ciobanmos Curcic, Poinar, and Sarbu, 1993 and a second female of A. callaticola (Dumitresco and Orghidan, 1964) are also presented. The specimens studied are thoroughly described and illustrated. Taxonomic interrelationships and geographic distribution are briefly discussed.

A new species of the endemic pseudoscorpion genus Protoneobisium Curcic, 1988, P. basilice sp. n. from Croatia has been found, described and diagnosed. From its phenetically close congener, P. biocovense (M?ller, 1931), the new taxon differs in many respects of both qualitative and quantitative nature. Both species of Protoneobisium have a limited distribution; they inhabit Mt. Biokovo, Croatia, and are probably the remnants of some ancient Maditerranean fauna of pre-Tertiary origin.

From its phenetically close congeners (C. litoralis Hadzi and C. dalmatinus Hadzi), Chthonius (Chthonius) torakensis n. sp. is distinguished in many important respects. This endemic form is illustrated, diagnosed, and thoroughly compared to its phenetically closest congener [C. (C.) porevidi Curcic, Makarov &amp; Lucic, 1998] from the area of Krivosije in Montenegro.
