Empirical orthogonal function (EOF) analysis was applied to identify the dominant climate regimes contributing to the precipitation. Abstract This paper considers the environmental and financial impact of various antifouling coatings for ships hulls. To do this comparison an eco-efficiency analysis was conducted comparing three different fouling control systems which offer the same customer benefit of a clean underwater hull. The results clearly demonstrated that fluoropolymer foul release technology can offer this benefit in the most eco-efficient way having lower impacts on both the environment and on the economics of using that technology.
