One experiment tested the use of four grow tube treatments and two pruning levels on vine establishment in the upper Midwest. It was found that the accuracy of a predictive model for grapevine budburst based on ambient temperature was limited under the experimental conditions. In 2000, P-ca (250 mg/L) was applied to Seyval, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet franc (125, 250, and 375 mg/L).
