Анотація:
The purpose of this study was to determine directly or indirectly the effect of experiential marketing and brand image on consumer loyalty through consumer satisfaction of Kapal Api coffee in Bondowoso Regency. The number of samples in this study was 354. The analytical technique used was the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using WarpPLS 5.0. The results of data analysis show that (1) Experiential marketing variables have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. (2) Brand image has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. (3) Experiential marketing has a significant effect on consumer loyalty. (4) Brand image has a significant effect on consumer loyalty. (5) Consumer satisfaction has a significant effect on consumer loyalty. (6) Indirectly Experiential marketing has a significant effect on consumer loyalty through customer satisfaction. This study aims (1) to determine the effect of accounts receivable turnover, cash turnover, and sales growth which have a partial effect on profitability (2) to determine the effect of accounts receivable turnover, cash turnover, and sales growth simultaneously on profitability (3) to determine between turnover. accounts receivable, cash turnover, and sales growth which have the most dominant influence on profitability. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The result of this research is multiple linear regression equation Y = 0.025 - 0.003 X1 + 0.000 X2 + 0.225 X3 + e. Accounts receivable turnover partially has no significant effect with a value of -0.680, of -2.028, cash turnover has no significant effect with a value of -1.559, of -2.028, sales growth has a significant positive effect with a value of 3.368, amounting to 2.028. Simultaneously, accounts receivable turnover, cash turnover and sales growth have an effect on profitability with a value of 4.744, amounting to 2.87. The variable with the most dominant influence in this study is sales growth with a value of 3.368.

This study aims (1) to determine the effect of Capital Adequacy Levels (CAR), Operational Efficiency (OEOI), Credit Risk (NPF) and Liquidity (FDR) partially on Profitability (ROA), (2) to determine the effect of the effect of Capital Adequacy Levels (CAR), Operational efficiency (OEOI), Credit risk (NPF) and Liquidity (FDR) simultaneously on Profitability (ROA), and (3) to determine which of the effect of Capital Adequacy Levels (CAR), Operational efficiency (OEOI), Credit risk (NPF) and Liquidity (FDR) has the most influence on Profitability (ROA) in Islamic banking registered with the OJK for the period 2015-2019. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The result of research is multiple linear regression equation Y = 21,756 + 0,11X1 - 0,349X2 + 0,507X3 + 0,117X4 + e. Partially CAR has no significant effect on the ROA, OEOI has a significant negative effect on the ROA, NPF and FDR has a significant positive effect on the ROA. Simultaneously CAR, OEOI, NPF and FDR partially to ROA. The most dominant variable in this research is OEOI with value -13,352. The predictive ability of these variables on ROA in this study was 89,1%, while the remaining 10,9% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.

Partially liquidity (CR) has a negative and significant effect with tcount less than ttable (-2,445) <(-2.028) or sig α 0,019 < 0.05, solvency (DER) has no positive and significant effect, indicating that tcount is smaller than ttable (-0.644) >(2.028) or sig α 0.524 > 0.05, profitability (ROA) has a positive and significant effect, indicating that the value of t is greater than t table (3.743)> (2.028) or sig α 0.001 < 0.05. Simultaneously, liquidity (CR), solvency (DER), and profitability (ROA) have an effect on profit growth with the Fcount value of 6.071, the value is greater than Ftable, namely 2.87 or Fcount 6.071> Ftable 2.87. The variable that has the most dominant influence in this study is profitability (ROA) with a value of 6.071.

Анотація:
In this paper, I study the effect of foreign direct investment (FDI) on a group of host country economic growth for the period 1994-2011. Using aggregate level FDI data for a group of five emerging countries, the paper reveals that FDI has a positive effect on economic growth. Then I use sectoral data and test whether all the sectors have positive effects on growth. The results vary across the sectors. The results seem to be positive for mining and quarrying as well as manufacturing sector, while trade and financial intermediation sectors to have a negative effect on economic growth.

Анотація:
The effect of zinc deficiency on the growth promoting effect of circulating IGF-I and the direct growth effect of GH on long bone growth were investigated. Food intake was decreased by lack of zinc in the diet. Tissue zinc content and plasma alkaline phosphatase activity were reduced by zinc deficiency. Systemic administration of human IGF-I increased the body weight, tail length and tibia epiphyseal cartilage width of control animals. This somatogenic action was impaired by zinc deficiency, as evidenced by continued weight loss, no increase in tail length and decreased tibial epiphyseal cartilage width of zinc deficient animals. Unilateral arterial infusion of GH increased the tibial epiphyseal width of the treated limb but not of the non-treated limb in control rats. However, no difference was found between the infused and the non-infused limb of zinc deficient animals, suggesting the occurrence of GH resistance on long bone growth in zinc deficiency. We conclude that zinc deficiency inhibits the growth promoting action of circulating IGF-I and the direct growth effect of GH on long bone growth.

Анотація:
The ability of human growth hormone (hGH) to alleviate the effects of zinc deficiency on growth was investigated in the rat. Human GH treatment had no significant effect on food consumption, growth parameters or plasma IGF-I. Food consumption, tail length, liver weight, and tibia weight were significantly lower in the zinc deficient group. Body weight was significantly reduced in the zinc deficient and pair fed groups compared to the control. A significant interaction between zinc and hGH was found for tibial epiphyseal cartilage width but there were no significant differences between the groups receiving hGH and the respective shams. Tissue zinc content and plasma alkaline phosphatase were significantly decreased by the dietary zinc deficiency. Plasma zinc was higher in the groups receiving hGH. Significant interactions between zinc and hGH was found for liver iron, tibial zinc, and tibial copper. Copper and iron showed a competitive interaction with zinc and were lower in the rats receiving the control diet. Both lowered zinc and food intake contributed to the effects of the zinc deficiency; however, these effects were not equally distributed. Food intake had the greater effect on growth and plasma IGF-I while tissue mineral content showed a greater effect for zinc intake.

Анотація:
This thesis consists of four major types of studies each utilising different models of growth and chondrocyte biology, which in combination strengthens the understandings of the effects of GC and growth factors on the growing skeleton. The initial in vivo study showed that in children treated with Dexamethasone (Dex) or Prednisolone (Pred) for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, the effects of Dex on body composition were more apparent in that it was up to 18 times more potent at reducing short term linear growth than Pred. The ATDC5 chondrocyte cell line was fully characterised, which allowed a unique opportunity to study GC effects on a homogeneous population of chondrocytes at the chondrogenesis and terminal differentiation phases. The GCs caused a reduction in cell number, cell proliferation and proteoglycan content whilst stimulating chondrocyte differentiation. These effects were dose dependent and only observed during the chondrogenesis phase when the cells are rapidly dividing. Furthermore these negative effects could be partially reversed with the use of a GC receptor antagonist and completely reversed with IGF-I. These observations were further translated into increasingly physiological models of bone growth. Foetal metatarsal organ explants, where the three dimensional structure and cell connections of the growing bone remain intact, again demonstrated that Dex and IGF-I had opposite effects on bone growth. In contrast to Dex the effects of IGF-I were immediate. IGF-I increased the size of the hypertrophic zone, and this accounted for most of the increase in metatarsal length. Prenatal administration of Dex caused a reduction in birth weight and length and this difference was greater in the female mice. The growth restriction was associated with an elevated IGF-I and IGFBP-2 levels raising the possibility of a state of IGF-I insensitivity, which may explain subsequent growth failure.

Анотація:
In this study micro and nano scale measurement techniques are applied to platelet studies and determination of factors in platelet aggregation and thrombus formation. Conventionally it has been assumed that platelets are stimulated by blood clotting factors and platelet activators to aggregate and form a thrombus at sites of vascular injury. We have recently shown that a primary factor in initiating platelet aggregation is hemodynamic shear. This paper presents the effect of shear rate on the time evolution of thrombus formation and the final geometry of a mature thrombus. A relationship between maximum mature thrombus height and local shear rate is formulated. We have shown that the shear rate is not only an important factor in initiating platelet aggregation but is also one of the main inhibitors of platelet aggregation and thrombus formation. We propose that when the platelets reach a critical height, they encounter a specific local hemodynamic range, which prevents further thrombus growth.

Tissue hypoxia is a common and important feature of rapidly growing malignant tumors and their metastases. Tumor cells mainly depend on energy production thru anaerobic glycolysis rather than aerobic oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria [1]. Intervening the tumor metabolic process via thermal energy infusion is worthy attempting. And hyperthermia, mildly elevated local temperature above the body temperature, is one of such kind. Previously, after being heated for a short period of time, tumor glucose and lactate level increased and ATP level decreased, which suggested energy metabolism was modified following hyperthermia through increased ATP hydrolysis, intensified glycolysis and impaired oxidative phosphorylation [2]. Many researchers designed experiments to determine thermal dose in hyperthermia [3], but few focused on the relationship between tumor and energy, especially for a long-term local hyperthermia treatment. One clinical trial indicated the effective long-term hyperthermo-therapy for maintaining performance status, symptomatic improvement, and prolongation of survival time in patients with peritoneal dissemination [4].
