Community service activities held at Rumah Quran Aisyah Radhiallahu anha call and invite the souls of daa'iyah who should be present in every Muslimah. The student of KKL STAI As-Sunnah named this service program with “wardah” (color the Ramadan with blessings) which is adapted to the nuances of the holy month Ramadan. This year, Rumah Quran held a program with the theme of "kurma" (achieve Ramadan with the Qur'an), which is an activity to memorize one juz of the Al-Qur’an on 25 days and it’s only devoted to women and children. This program is divided into two categories; offline and online. The purpose of this activity is to increase Muslimah’s enthusiasm in achieving the greatness of the Al-Qur'an in Ramadan, and also to be able to manage their time in this holy month. In addition to the Al-Qur'an memorization program activities, there is also a daurah "Tazkiyatun Nafs" on every Friday via WhatsApp group, Live Streaming on Facebook and Instagram. Supporting activities in this Ramadan program is "memorizing the hadith of al-Arba'in an-Nawawiyah" which is held by online and many conversations for children. For other additional online activities, the student of Kkl STAI As-Sunnah hold a daurah women's fiqh study on weekends via zoom. Students of STAI As-Sunnah participated to success this entire program by becoming the organizing committee. As the closing of all activities, there was a competition for hifdzil Qur'an, hifdzil hadith, and breaking the fast with the offline "kurma" participants.

The Qur'an is a holy book that revealed by the Most Holy. In order for the sanctity of the Qur'an to be more meaningful and relevant to (as a guide for human life, as a distinguishing between the true and the false), the Qur'an needs to be reflected in the real world. With the presence of "Social Interpretation" model, this is a step forward that needs to be appreciated, as the courage of the mufassir in annuling the Qur’an is not limited to understanding Qur’an, but rather the mufassir actualizes the Qur’an with problems of social political development. Sometimes writing point of the writer is faced with the tip of the Lord's sword. Therein the test mufassir's guts in pouring his thoughts.

The Qur'an book is the most authentic source book ever given to human civilization. Nowadays no scholars or linguist could imitate the beauty and then compact quality of the Qur’an. In addition, the Qur’an has also made a significant contribution to Arabic language and also its eternity. Thanks to the book, the Arabs became one community, and Muslims could unearth on knowledge. Therefore, the Qur’an has become the central point for Muslims from the time of the Prophet to our recent area. A number of religious scholars, researchers, and writers have focused their attention on the holy book, from way how to read, write, memories, interpret, and study its miracle. This writing elaborates on the way how to teach skill about the Qur'an i.e., listening, writing, reading, and memorizing-all in relation to various theories of education.

The Holy Qur'an, as it introduces itself is a life-giving (that which gives you life), healer (healing for the diseases in your hearts), cultural creator (taught you, which ye knew not before), reformer (improve their condition) and savior (ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it). In this regard, in addition to the deep meaning and content along with the unique literary devices and techniques that have impressed the listeners, the Quran has a unique style in the selection and words usage. One of these methods used in creating a culture is how the Quran employs opposite lexical terms. The kind of contradiction that the Qur'an has invented by selecting words is not customary. By utilizing descriptive-analytical method, the purpose of this study is to demonstrate some Qur'anic contradictions and the logic behind it in order to create a new culture among the audience. The findings show that in many cases, the Holy Quran has not followed the common structure of using opposite words, but it has used a new method to institutionalize a new culture among its audience. This being the case of using the word rahmah against shiddah instead of al-lin depicting the mercy as the cause of gentleness. Furthermore, the use of ithm against nafa’ instead of dharar where it shows that every sin is harmful to human. The findings also prove that this Qur'anic method leads the audience to a better understanding of the meanings and concepts of the Holy Qur'an. Apart from its miraculous model of heavenly scripture, this method or style has made possible to convey a larger volume of knowledge in abbreviated terms and the extent to which the new culture can be built not to mention the development and presentation of broader concepts in audience's mind.

Анотація:
The history of the Bible implies that the Torah has been formed and distorted over time. The Qur'an also confirms this issue. The Holy Qur'an, in addition to introducing the Jews as the People of the Book, uses the word "Torah" eighteen times, "which is a collection of divine teachings bestowed on Prophet Moses." On the one hand, the Holy Qur'an acknowledges and affirms it, and on the other hand, it attributes distortion to this book and introduces the Torah as one of the books that has been distorted throughout history, however, the holy Qur’an considers the part of the Torah that has been preserved to contain the teachings of God and can be acknowledged in general, and considers it a means of guiding the Jewish people and advises them to refer to it. The collection of information in this writing is library-based and their processing is descriptive-analytical. This article seeks to prove the view that the current Torah, with its various versions, has been disappeared in the ups and downs of the times, and that what exists is a very blurred and inconsistent face of the original version, and the Holy Qur'an confirms this.

Anxiety is a feeling of discomfort, worry about something unclear and accompanied by autonomic symptoms. Murottal Al-Quran therapy is a complementary therapy with the most widely used Al-Qur'an media. This study aims to analyze the effect of the murottal Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mulk and Al-Hasyr on the anxiety of medical students of Universitas Sriwijaya. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a cross-sectional approach with one group pre-post test design which was conducted from July to December 2020 at homes through Zoom meeting application. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. Data in the form of primary data using the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) questionnaire.Primary data were collected using the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) questionnaire before and after receiving the Murottal Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mulk and Al-Hasyr for 7 consecutive days. The Shapiro-Wilk normality test was performed on the data, then analyzed with Paired t-test or Wilcoxon test using SPSS device. The Wilcoxon test results showed significant results of murottal Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mulk and Al-Hasyr on anxiety (p = 0.000) in medical students. There is an effect of murottal Al-Qur’an surah Al-Mulk and Al-Hasyr on anxiety among medical students of Universitas Sriwijaya.

James Andrew Bellamy is an American orientalist and professor at the University of Michigan, who has conducted some research about the holy Qur'an. In his research, he assumed Quran as an old manuscript and, by presenting several articles, he has criticized and studied several Quranic words. He believes that Qur'an has been altered and changed; therefore, it is necessary to correct these mistakes by examining the content of Qur'anic verses and surahs. In some of his articles, he considers some of the words of Qur'an as changed words and gives the correct word instead. The following article reviews and criticizes the words proposed by James Bellamy about the word "تمنی " in verse 52 of Surah al-Hajj and also the word "ابا " in verse 32 of Surah al-‘Abasa.

The pattern of educating children or the method of educating children from before birth to school age is a necessity for a mother. Mother is the first and main geographical teacher in pre-school children's education. The age of toddlers to pre-school for children is golden age. Learning while playing is a certainty, playing is the first education for children under five. The age of a toddler is like a blank cassette that can store and record something that is accustomed to and experienced in the development of a child's life. For parents, if they expect their children to become children who are good enough to have to have insight and knowledge of management of pre-school children's education. Among the many models and patterns of education management, the easiest way to deliver children to become good and noble children is quran-based management. Al-Qur'an is a holy book from the most holy God, it will be easily digested and accepted by the core of the teachings to children who are still pure. In terms of management of the pre-school education based on the Qur'an, it is intended for parents to plan for their children to always listen to the chants of the Qur'an. Then group them into playing the verses in the form of per juz al-Qur'an in one month. Then the parents evaluate the child who has been refreshed by the Qur'an, if the chanting is paused, what will happen to the child's reaction. If you cry, it means that the spirit of the Qur'an has entered your heart and soul. The situation is valid for 30 juz, so the child for 30 months has listened to and recorded 30 juz verses of the Qur'an, God willing, the age of pre-school children has been memorized and will be smart with the waslah verse of the Qur'an. This is a Qur'ani-based management that gives birth to children who love and love to read the Qur'an and the hafidz of the Qur'an.

The importance of reintroducing the holy book of the Qur'an to the public, especially among academics who are engaged in the field of the Qur'an. This paper provides important information regarding the explanation of the Qur'an about itself, so that it is hoped that with this description you can get to know the Qur'an closer and more intimately. The method used in writing this journal refers to the provisions of the thematic interpretation method, which is trying to collect verses containing the vocabulary of the Qur'an and trying to reveal the messages it contains. The goal is that Muslims can understand well the content of the verses of the Qur'an which contain information about the Qur'an itself. Allegedly while there are still many Muslims who do not know the Qur'an comprehensively in general, only among academics who are engaged in the field of the Qur'an, who may already know it, but in general there are still many who do not know. It is very important to dig out the names of the Qur'ān bi al-Qur'ān (the names of the Qur'an with the Qur'an).

This study is an attempt to gain an understanding of the al-ruh (Holy Spirit) from a Muslim perspective and a comparison with the Christian perspective. Chapter 1 is an introduction. Chapter 2 and 3 are textual study; the meaning and usage of the al-ruh (Holy Spirit) in the Qur’an will be examined, especially in Muslim Dictionaries, Encyclopaedias and Commentaries as compared with the meaning and usage in the Biblical and Jewish scriptures. Obviously, the Holy Spirit plays an active role with humankind in creation and in revelation; the al-ruh has evidently inspired all the prophets and even believers according to the Qur’an. The experience of Muhammad with respect to the al-ruh is also mentioned in the Qur’an even when he was not yet aware of the work of Holy Spirit as well as the person of the Holy Spirit, as the third person of the Trinity in Christianity. Chapter 3 carries on the findings from the Qur’an, and furthermore give explanations as well as evaluate exegeses and various commentators’ opinions regarding al-ruh. Moreover, there are some disagreements among various Muslim commentators as manifested in their interpretations. Such disagreement is discernable with respect to the doctrine of Holy Spirit as a Person in the Trinity. In addition to this, various issues are investigated like: ‘Where did the divisions and disunity come from?’ Is it possible to find a satisfactory answer? ‘Is al-ruh the angel Gabriel?’ since the angel Gabriel is only mentioned once (66:4). Nevertheless, most of the commentators indicate that the Holy Spirit and the Spirit as the angel Gabriel are the same. Is there a gap in understanding between Muhammad and commentators? Is there a gap between classical and contemporary commentators? Chapter 4 presents a report of the empirical fieldwork carried out through interviews. Questionnaires are designed based on findings in the Qur’an and what commentators have said. A cross section of Muslims in the Western Cape of South Africa as well as Muslims from other African countries presently in Stellenbosch is selected for interviews. Several Islamic sects (i.e. Sunni, Sufis) who are found in South Africa are included in these interviews along with relevant information obtained from Internet sources. An analysis of data provides the basic thoughts for the assessment and response from the Christian point of view in Chapters 5 and 6. Chapter 5 is a comparative study. The aim is to find out similarities in both Christian and Muslim religious concepts, thereby attempting to build up on common grounds; and to find out the differences in understanding about the Holy Spirit and to restore an agreeable understanding of the concept of the Holy Spirit. The ultimate goal is to use the idea of the al-ruh from Qur’anic and Islamic concepts in order to build a bridge to the understanding of the Holy Spirit in Christianity. Some concepts are common to both Christianity and Islam, i.e. spirit (ruh), soul (nafs) and conscience (fitrah). Some fundamental doctrines are essential for both religions. For instance, The Oneness of God is understood in Islam as Tahwid (i.e. Oneness of Allah), and in Christianity, as Trinity, the Godhead or Triune God. Besides, both religions in terms of this doctrine contain elements of the transcendence and immanence of God in relation to creation. The key issue investigated further is ‘whether the Spirit is created or eternal’ and ‘Is al-ruh the created Spirit or the creator Spirit’? The question of how a Christian explains to a Muslim that Jesus is ultimately the Ruh Allah (the Spirit of God) introduced in the next chapter. Chapter 6 is a Missiological approach which is based on the fundamental knowledge of the Holy Spirit and the Trinity in Systematic theology and Missiology. Certain topics are examined from a comparative religious point of view; firstly, a comparison of the natural human with the spiritual human to find out the function of the conscience and of spirituality from a Biblical point of view. Secondly, a comparison of Jesus with Adam and an angel in terms of the purpose for which God created the whole world is made with a focus on Jesus in humanity. Thirdly, a definition of the divinity of Jesus in terms of two aspects: Jesus as the first-born Son of God and Jesus as Messiah (the anointed one and saviour of the world), using a historical, traditional and Christological understanding. Fourthly, a Pneumatological approach is applied as an innovation to this study. Its endeavours generally explore the human religious experience, in order to initiate a ‘dialectical dialogue’; and subsequently to focus on the Trinitarian experience in Islam. An interesting example of martyrdom as an imitation of Christ on the cross can be found among Sufi Sunni Muslims. This is an evidence of the freedom of the Holy Spirit working wherever he wills. In brief, although the Person and the work of the Holy Spirit are not very obvious in the Qur’an, a careful study makes it increasingly apparent. Finally, the work of the Holy Spirit is still alive in all religions, not least in Islam, as the resulting evidence of my research suggests.

In the aftermath of the independence of Morocco and Algeria in the second half of the twentieth century, each sought to create one homogeneous nation-state, defining themselves as Arab, declaring Arabic language as the only official language and embarking on Arabisation campaign that attempted to eliminate any ethnic, cultural and linguistic diversity. The Berber community which comprised 40% of the Moroccan population (Madani 2003, Silverstein and Crawford 2004, Maddy-Weitzman 2006) and 25% of the Algerian population (Ennaji 2009) appeared to be relegated to an inferior position and pushed back to the peripheries. This situation gave rise to what is generally referred to as ‘the Berber question’; the Berbers became increasingly aware of their minority status and began to demand certain linguistic and cultural rights. Translation, most importantly the translation of the Holy Quran, became an important means of asserting these rights and the identity of the Berber as a distinct nation. Drawing on paratext theory as proposed by Genette (1997) and framing theory as put forward by Goffman (1974) and elaborated by others (e.g. Entman 1993, Snow and Benford 1988, 2000 and Asimakoulas 2009), the study investigated the role that three Berber translations of the Holy Quran have played in renegotiating the political landscape of Berber communities in the past eighteen years (1999-2017). Analysis of the three translations have shown that the translators, while being faithful to the text, managed to signal their difference, foreground their language and culture and question, challenge and even undermine widespread official claims, through subtle, counter-hegemonic moves, using framing strategies and a toolbox of paratextual devices.

The study of sound symbolism, phonetics and semantics has been of major concern for linguists since the Greeks and the Romans in the fifth century before AD. The idea of sound symbolism - the existence of correspondence between the sound of letters (or linguists, such as Ibn Jinni (942-1002 AD), and modern Arabic linguists, including al- Badráwi (1999), and Na'aim Alwia (1984), have attempted to elucidate this phenomenon, providing detailed description and some examples from Arabic and the Holy Qur'an. Modern Western linguists such as Magnus (1999) have discussed the correspondence between the sounds of letters and the sense in Western languages. Jespersen (1962) and Badráwi (1999) have recommended that this phenomenon needs further detailed study and have indicated the need of more examples to be used as reference theory. Using Ibn Jinni's model, this study is an attempt to build on the theory of the correspondence between sound and meaning using the Holy Qur'an as an example. While Jinni's focus was on the correspondence of sound and meaning at the word level, this study will focus on the individual sound segments within the word, and the effect of the word within the Surat. The argument is that it is the individual distinctive features of each phoneme in a word that give the word its distinctive sound quality, and also has have an impact on the meaning of the word. Any correspondence between sound and meaning in a word should therefore be assigned to a particular significant distinctive feature. Given that the focus on the presumed direct relationship between sound and meaning, recourse will be made to the principal of onomatopoeia. Therefore, the objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between the distinctive features of the sounds that form Arabic words and the meaning of such words as used in the Holy Qur'an. In particular, the study will analyze the distinctive features, such as a sound being a consonant or a vowel, voicing, manner and place of articulation, airstream mechanism, among others (singly or combined) of the sounds in Arabic words, and relate this to the meaning of the words. This phenomenon will be investigated using descriptive methods and the Holy Qur' an as the object of study.

Анотація:
This chapter discusses the historical origin and development, religious scholarship, political elements, and legacy of the Qur'an. The Qur'an, the holy book of Islam, is the most recent of the major sacred scriptures to have appeared in human history. It includes the prophetic proclamations of Muhammad (570–632) in Arabic, collected after his death in definitive written form and meticulously transmitted through the centuries. More than a billion Muslims around the globe consider the Qur'an to be the eternal word of God, who “sent down” the scripture as his final divine revelation and commissioned Muhammad to be the last prophet to proclaim his divine will for all of humanity to follow.

Анотація:
Статья посвящена правовой характеристике фикха и ответственности в мусульманской системе права. Перечислены этапы возникновения и развития фикха. В статье выявляется трехуровневая система наказаний по мусульманскому праву, элементами которой являются такие виды наказаний как: «худуд», «кисас» и «тазир». В заключении работы формулируется вывод о том, что фикх представляет из себя совокупность теоретических знаний об исламской вере и ее практических положений правоприменения (Шариат) на основе норм главных источников мусульманской системы права - Священного Корана и Сунны Пророка Мухаммада (да благословит его Аллах и приветствует). The article is devoted to the legal characteristics of fiqh and responsibility in the Muslim legal system. The stages of the origin and development of fiqh are listed. The article reveals a three-level system of punishments under Muslim law, the elements of which are such types of punishments as: "Hudud", "qisas" and "tazir". In conclusion, the article concludes that fiqh is characterized as a set of theoretical knowledge about the Islamic faith and its practical provisions of law enforcement (Sharia) based on the norms of the main sources of the Muslim legal system - the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).
