Анотація:
The purpose of this research is to examine job satisfaction among auditors and the relationships between internal as well as external factors and job satisfaction. The research also examines internal and external factors of motivation; dimensions for internal factors include achievements, advancement, work itself, recognition and growth while for external, the dimensions are company policy, relationship with peers, work security, supervisory relationship, money, and working conditions. This research is guided by Herzberg’s Two Factor Theory which explains the difference between motivation and hygiene factors that can lead to job satisfaction. Data were collected using an online questionnaire distributed to auditors in Johor state audit firms with diverse personal and professional backgrounds. The results show that both internal and external factors of motivation have significant positive relationships with job satisfaction. ‘Achievement’ and ‘Growth’ are dominant internal factors of motivation towards job satisfaction while ‘Company policy’ and ‘Relationship with Supervisors’ are dominant external factors of motivation. The results of this research provide indicators to the employers, particularly audit firms, on the factors that influence job satisfaction, thus these employers could take appropriate actions in ensuring the well-being of their employees who are in this context are auditors.

Food safety training has been the primary avenue for ensuring food workers are performing proper food handling practices and thus, serving safe food. Yet, knowledge of safe food handling practices does not necessarily result in actual performance of these practices. This research identified participating food service employees' level of agreement with four factors of motivation (internal motivations, communication, reward-punishment, and resources) and determined if respondents with different demographic characteristics reported different motivating factors. Data were collected from 311 food service employees who did not have any supervisory responsibilities. Intrinsic motivation agreement scores were consistently the highest of all four motivational factors evaluated and did not differ across any of the demographic characteristics considered. In contrast, motivation agreement scores for communication, reward-punishment, and resources did differ based on respondents' gender, age, place of employment, job status, food service experience, completion of food handler course, or possession of a food safety certification. In general, respondents agreed that these motivation factors influenced their likelihood to perform various safe food handling procedures. This research begins to illustrate how employees' demographic characteristics influence their responses to various motivators, helping to clarify the complex situation of ensuring safe food in retail establishments. Future research into why employee willingness to perform varies more for extrinsic motivation than for intrinsic motivation could assist food service managers in structuring employee development programs and the work environment, in a manner that aids in improving external motivation (communication, reward-punishment, and resources) and capitalizing on internal motivation.

Анотація:
This paper extends a previous study that proposed an integrated model to test knowledge sharing (KS) motivation among information technology (IT) workers. While the previous study focussed on the differences in KS between internal and external IT workers, the perspective of the current paper is broader; it proposes additional hypotheses, and uses both inferential statistics and data mining techniques to detect further practical aspects of the integrated model findings. Because data mining techniques are useful in extracting patterns and gaining insights from data, they are implemented here alongside inferential statistics. The present study also looks into the employment-contract factor, to better capture the differences between internal and external IT workers. The study reveals that external workers score significantly lower than internal workers in almost every component of the integrated KS model. This gives rise to five practical implications of knowledge management (KM) and employment policies, including factors and practises that should be taken into consideration while employing external workers, to help motivate collaborative behaviour in IT departments.

Анотація:
Objective The aim of this research is to identify whether personality, emotions, and hedonic motivation influence impulse buying behaviour when shopping online. Methodology/Technique A total of 270 samples were collected through online. Factor analysis and multiple linear regression were conducted in this research. Findings The result shows that personality and hedonic motivations are positively related to online impulse buying, whereas emotions are not positively related to online impulse buying. Type of Paper: Empirical paper Novelty : Previous research had focused more on the external factors that influence online impulse buying. There is a lack of research focus on internal factors that influence online impulse buying. In this research, the individual internal factors such as personality, emotions, and hedonic motivations are used to clarify the relationships between online impulse buying and the individual internal factors. Анотація:
This article actualizes identification of both internal and external motivating factors of modern executives working in investment and construction sectors that directly influence their choice of behavior patterns and professional performance. Classical approaches to executives’ personal motivation may change their attitude to work, however, the overall environment and internal transformations necessitate the use of reframing technologies that enable more efficient motivating mechanisms and systems. This article includes data of research participated by top executives of an investment and construction holding. The study covered a group of both external and internal motivating factors. The analysis results show that the motives rated by their significance level are a valid basis for selecting the most preferable management methods to be applied by experts holding senior positions in an organization.

Theoretical substantiation. The article explores the recreational value and importance of working in human life, analysis of its association with human health and quality of life perception. Any human activity is motivated, so the analysis of effective leisure time, determined not only selected leisure activities, but also reveals the need for the factors, which determine the choice of such activities. The object of the survey was the choice of motivational factors in leisure. The aim of study was to assess the determining factors of leisure motivation of young working people Method. Organized research through a questionnaire based on L. G. Pelletier et al. (1991) leisure motivation scale. The sample consisted of 70 young working people from Kaunas city – 47 women and 23 men. The study investigated whether young working people have enough leisure time, what are its forms and conducting research to evaluate the disclosure of their health. In determining what are the key motivating factors behind the choice of leisure study comparing interpretations of gender and health research aspects of perception. The study data were processed on the basis of mathematical statistics Findings. The survey data suggests that young working people have more leisure time on weekends and often spends it passively (reading, watching television). Examination of the leisure motivation of the youth revealed that most strongly influenced by the choice of leisure internal motivation to experience stimulation, i. e., targeted to the inner satisfaction, enjoyable activities that stimulate feelings of certain associations. Youth groups, by gender dominated external motivation external regulation, external regulation motivation moved, the internal motivation to know, that is these groups of people belonging to an external reward or avoid an external punishment, reward or to avoid the inner interior penalty, to seek knowledge, explore, understand the relevant issues. The analysis of young people's perceptions of their health status and the motivation of leisure activities to those persons who are unable to assess their health status is at least apathetic choosing forms of leisure and are sufficiently strong and determined to knowing what is going. Those persons who believe that there is poor health status in the form of leisure for engaging external motivation identified regulation – they are important leisure activities, and results are or will be useful, but it does not feel the inner satisfaction.

This paper seeks to critique the elements of the complex model of motivation which was developed with the aim of applying it in organisations with the view of motivating, retaining and improving on productivity and service delivery. The model is premised on the internal and external factors that impact on employees’ performance. The Complex Model of Motivation is deemed to be comprehensive in its application. It is noted that employees are plagued with various problems which negate on their performance. It is therefore, recommended that if this Model is applied it could go a long way in addressing most of the problems raised by employees at the workplace. This Model suggests a holistic approach involving internal and external factors that impact on the total work environment. The model is significant in that it identifies promising areas in which organisations can improve so as to provide conducive working environments.

Purpose – The rapid development of Web 2.0 and social media enables the rise of crowdsourcing. Crowdsourcing contest is a typical case of crowdsourcing and has been adopted by many organisations for business solution and decision making. From a participant's perspective, it is interesting to explore what motivates people to participate in crowdsourcing contest. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the category of motivation based on self-determination theory and synthesises various motivation factors in crowdsourcing contest. Meanwhile, perceived motivational affordances and task granularity are also examined as the moderate constructs. Design/methodology/approach – The paper builds a conceptual model to illustrate the relationships between various motivations (extrinsic and intrinsic) and participation effort under the moderating of perceived motivational affordances and task granularity. An empirical study is conducted to test the research model by surveying the Chinese participants of crowdsourcing contest. Findings – The results show that various motivations might play different roles in relating to participation effort expended in the crowdsourcing contest. Moreover, task granularity may positively moderate the relationship between external motivation and participation effort. The results also show that supporting of a participant's perceived motivational affordances might strengthen the relationship between the individual's motivation with an internal focus (intrinsic, integrated, identified and introjected motivation) and participation effort. Originality/value – Overall, the research has some conceptual and theoretical implications to the literature. This study synthesises various motivation factors identified by previous studies in crowdsourcing projects or communities as a form of motivation spectrum, namely external, introjected, identified, integrated and intrinsic motivation, which contributes to the motivation literatures. Meanwhile, the findings indicate that various motivations might play different roles in relating to participation effort expended in the crowdsourcing contest. Also, the study theoretically extends the crowdsourcing participation research to incorporate the effects of perceived motivational affordances in crowdsourcing contest. In addition, the study may yield some practical implications for sponsors, managers and designers in crowdsourcing contest.

The article analyzes the factors and causes of the state of demotivation to work among employees of organizations. The author emphasizes the importance of employee motivation for the success of modern organizations and the undesirable consequences of its absence, which acquire the features of an organizational disease. Demotivation is considered by the authors as a decrease in motivation due to the influence of various circumstances. The factors that demotivate employees are analyzed and the probable causes of their occurrence are listed. The article highlights the personal and organizational groups of demotivation factors. Personal factors include chronic dissatisfaction with the dominant needs of employees; incentives used in organizations that become in reality limiting factors; changes occurring in the personal motivational complexes of employees; personal perception by employees of the actions of the organization’s managers as unfair. Organizational factors include unclear division of functions and implemented work processes between employees, unclear organization structure, low manageability of the organization, unclear goals, unreliability of decisions, widely used demotivating management style with a predominance of punishments over rewards, disrespect and neglect of employees. The article considers the employee’s motivational complex, consisting of internal motivation, external positive and external negative motivation, and determines the optimal motivational complex. Attention is paid to the demotivation process, the orientation of employee motivation. The differences in the general motivation of the employee for any actions and the labor motivation of the employee are determined. The necessity of analyzing the motives of people’s behavior in the working environment is emphasized. The article notes the need to distinguish between the real and declared motives of employees, to identify the deep needs, interests and values of people to prevent the state of demotivation.

Användandet av en kontoplan är frivilligt i Sverige, vilket betyder att det saknas reglering kring hur en kontoplan bör användas. Avsaknaden av reglering öppnar upp valmöjligheter kring de redovisningsval företag gör. Trots detta väljer 95% av företagen i Sverige att använda BAS-kontoplanen. Eftersom alla företag strävar efter att presentera en så bra redovisning som möjligt bestående av önskvärd information kan det dock vara svårt att avgöra vad som ligger bakom företagens val i redovisningen. Redovisningen utformas olika efter företagets intresse och vilka som efterfrågar informationen varierar. Motiven till redovisningsval kan därav delas upp i interna och externa faktorer. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur BAS-kontoplanen används rent praktiskt av företag samt granska motiven till dess val av redovisningsmetod på en övergripande nivå. Frågorna studien avser besvara är: “Varför använder företagen kontoplanen som de gör?”, “Vad är företagens syfte med redovisningen?” och “Vilka faktorer påverkar utformandet av redovisningen?”. Studien har en kvalitativ forskningsstrategi bestående av två delar. Första delen är framtagandet av teorier i den teoretiska referensramen som används för att identifiera interna och externa faktorer som påverkar företags redovisningsval. Den andra delen är att ta fram empiriskt material vilket genomförts via sex semistrukturerade intervjuer till redovisningsansvariga på varierande företag. Resultatet av studien visar att redovisningsval i företag påverkas av olika faktorer samt beror på den motivation som finns inom företaget vid det specifika tillfället. Motivationen påverkar vilka faktorer som företagen tar hänsyn till när de upprättar sin redovisning. Företagens val påverkas både av interna faktorer som finns i förhållanden mellan olika parter inom företaget och externa faktorer som främst påverkas av företagets förhållande till sin omgivning. Studien visar även att BAS-kontoplanen uppfattas som lättanvänd och anpassningsbar. Studiens slutsatser ger en indikation till hur företag motiverar de val de gör inom redovisning och identifierar flera faktorer som påverkar dessa val. Dessa faktorer ger en överblick till varför de väljer att använda sig utav BAS-kontoplanen. Tillsammans med motivationen lägger detta en grund till hur fortsatt forskning kan utformas.
The use of an account plan is voluntary in Sweden, which means that there is no regulation about how an account plan should be used. The lack of regulation opens up choices about the accounting companies are doing. Nevertheless, 95% of companies in Sweden choose to use the BAS account plan. Since all companies strive to present a report with desirable information that is as good as possible, it may be difficult to determine what lies behind the companies choice in the accounting. The accounts are designed differently according to the company's interest, and those who request the information vary. The motives for accounting choices can therefore be divided into internal and external factors. The purpose of the study is to investigate how the BAS account plan is used by companies practically and to examine the reasons for its choice of accounting method at an overall level. The questions the study relates to is: "Why do companies use the accounting plan as they do?", "What are the business purpose of accounting?" And "What factors affect the design of the account?". The study has a qualitative research strategy consisting of two parts. The first part is the development of theories in the theoretical frame of reference used to identify internal and external factors that affect the company's accounting choices. The second part is to produce empirical material, which was carried out through six semistructured interviews to accounting officers of various companies. The result of the study shows that accounting choices in companies are affected by different factors and depend on the motivation that exists within the company at the specific moment. The motivation influences the factors that companies take into account when preparing their accounts. The choice of companies is influenced by internal factors that are found in relationships between different parties within the company and external factors that are primarily influenced by the company's relationship with its environment. The study also shows that the BAS account plan is perceived as easy-to-use and adaptable. The study's conclusions provide an indication of how companies motivate the choices they make in accounting and identify several factors that affect these choices. These factors give an overview of why they choose to use the BAS account plan. Together with the motivation, this puts a foundation on how continued research can be developed.

The purpose of this study was to explore and document the factors that motivated African American public school administrators in a selected school system in East Tennessee to become school leaders. The study highlighted barriers and challenges, support mechanisms, and perceptions of training. If minority educators are to be actively recruited and retained, there must be an understanding of the factors that motivate them to progressively seek administrative leadership positions. The African American public school administrators' experiences were collected through 17 one-on-one personal interviews. The interviews were audio-taped, transcribed, coded, and used to answer the 4 research questions. The primary factors that motivate African American public school administrators to become school leaders are a desire to help the students and to make a broader impact on education. These public school administrators had to overcome the barriers and challenges of racial and/or gender discrimination while working in a system that was not supportive of these endeavors. As a result of this study, recommendations were made for the school system, the African American public school administrators, and for further research.

Bakalauro darbe tiriami mokinių, turinčių intelekto sutrikimą ir įprastinės raidos mokinių mokymosi motyvai. Darbo tikslas – nustatyti mokinių mokymosi motyvus. Taip pat buvo siekiama nustatyti, kokie veiksniai (vidiniai ar išoriniai) yra reikšmingesni mokymosi motyvacijai šiom dviem tiriamųjų grupėm. Suformuluota hipotezė, kad mokinių, turinčių intelekto sutrikimą, mokymosi motyvacijos lygis yra žemesnis, negu įprastinės raidos mokinių. Tyrime dalyvavo 107 respondentai: 44 (6-10 kl.) mokiniai, turintys intelekto sutrikimą ir 63 (6-8 kl.) įprastinės raidos mokiniai. Apklausai naudotas klausimynas, parengtas, remiantis autorių Deci, Connell ir Ryan tyrimuose (1989), adaptuotas Titenytės – Mackonienės (2005). Tyrimu nustatyta, kad mokinių, turinčių intelekto sutrikimą, mokymosi motyvacijos lygis yra žemesnis, lyginant su įprastinės raidos mokinių mokymosi motyvacija. Nustatyta, kad mokinių, turinčių intelekto sutrikimą, mokymosi motyvams daugiau įtakos turi išoriniai veiksniai (bausmės baimė, noras įtikti mokytojui, priverstas laikytis mokinio taisyklių, gėdos jausmas, pozityvaus mokytojo įvertinimo laukimas, materialinis paskatinimas). Įprastinės raidos mokinių mokymosi motyvus daugiau įtakoja vidiniai veiksniai (žinių siekimas, žingeidumas, interesas, noras dirbti klasėje, mokymosi reikšmingumas, pomėgis spręsti sunkias užduotis, tiesos ieškojimas, savo jėgų išbandymas, mokymasis kaip maloni veikla). The Bachelor thesis studies the learning motives of the students with intellectual disabilities and students with normal development. The aim of the thesis is to identify the learning motives of the students. It was also used to determine what factors (internal or external) are more meaningful for learning motivation for these two analyzed groups. The hypothesis is formulated that the learning motivation rate of the students with intellectual disabilities is lower than the students with normal development. The study involved 107 respondents: 44 (6-10 forms) students with intellectual disabilities and 63 (6-8 forms) students with normal development. The survey used a questionnaire prepared according to the researches of the authors Deci, Connell and Ryan (1989) adapted by Titenytė – Mackonienė (2005). The research found that the learning motivation level of the students with intellectual disabilities is lower as compared to the learning motivation of the students with normal development. It was found that the external factors (fear of punishment, the desire to please the teacher, student forced to follow the rules, shame, waiting of positive teacher evaluation, material advantages) have more influence on the learning motivation of the students with intellectual disabilities. En förutsättning för att möta de krav som råder på arbetsmarknaden för unga arbetstagare är att inneha arbetsmotivation. Arbetsmotivation är ett samlingsnamn för faktorer som påverkar människans sätt att agera i olika situationer och kan delas in i inre och yttre motivation. Inre motivation innebär en känsla av fri vilja där individen agerar utifrån intresse att skapa tillfredsställelse på arbetsplatsen. Yttre motivation innebär att skapa en tillfredsställelse genom yttre konsekvenser, vilket kan vara belöningar. Syftet med denna studie är således att undersöka arbetsmotivation med fokus på inre och yttre motivationsfaktorer bland unga vuxna i åldern 20–25 år utifrån en kvalitativ ansats. Det är även av intresse att studera om det föreligger någon skillnad mellan män och kvinnor. Materialet har samlats in via tio semistrukturerade intervjuer och analyserats utifrån en tematisk analys. Resultatet visar att ansvar, kompetensutveckling och feedback är inre motivationsfaktorer som påverkar unga vuxnas arbetsmotivation. De yttre motivationsfaktorerna är belöningar, sociala relationer samt tydliga riktlinjer. Det råder även ingen större skillnad mellan män och kvinnor vad det gäller arbetsmotivation. Utöver detta visar resultatet att unga vuxna anser att ett arbete i slutändan inte ska betraktas som ett jobb utan som en rolig aktivitet för att uppnå maximal arbetsmotivation.
A presumption for meeting the demands of the labor market for young workers is to have work motivation. Work motivation is a generic label for factors that influence a person's way of acting in different situations and can be divided into internal and external motivation. Internal motivation means a sense of free will where the individual acts on the basis of interest in creating satisfaction in the workplace. External motivation means creating satisfaction through external consequences. The purpose of this study is to study work motivation with focus on internal and external motivational factors among young adults aged 20-25 years based on a qualitative approach. It is also of interest to study if there is any difference between gender. The material was collected through ten semi-structured interviews and analyzed on the basis of a thematic analysis. The result shows that responsibility, skills development and feedback are internal motivational factors that influence young adults' work motivation. The external motivating factors are rewards, social relationships and clear guidelines. There is also no major difference between men and women in terms of work motivation. In addition, the results show that young adults believe that a job in the end should not be regarded as a job, but as a fun activity in order to achieve maximum work motivation.

Denna studie syftade till att bidra med kunskap om hur olika faktorer påverkar anställdas motivation i arbetet. Syftet preciserades med frågeställningarna “Hur påverkar yttre faktorer anställdas arbetsmotivation vid ett svenskt företag?” och “Hur påverkar inre faktorer anställdas arbetsmotivation vid ett svenskt företag?” En kvalitativ metod användes i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Intervjudeltagarna var tio anställda på ett större svenskt företag inom banksektorn. Intervjuerna kodades i sin helhet och presenterades i flertalet teman under kategorierna yttre och inre faktorer. Analysen utgick från Herzbergs motivation-hygienteori, vilket var det teoretiska ramverk som valts. De yttre faktorerna som diskuterades i studien var: förmåner, anställningstrygghet och ersättning. De inre faktorer som togs upp var: utmaning och utveckling, intressanta arbetsuppgifter, meningsfullt arbete, återkoppling i form av uppmärksamhet och bekräftelse samt frihet under ansvar. Resultatet visade att medan inre faktorer upplevdes ha en direkt påverkan på motivation, så upplevdes yttre faktorer inte i någon större utsträckning påverka motivation. Däremot när yttre faktorer hade en nära sammankoppling med inre faktorer, upplevdes även yttre faktorer ha en påverkan på motivation.
The aim of this study was to add to the existing knowledge about how employees’ work motivation is influenced by a number of factors. The study was guided by the following two research questions: How does external factors affect employees work motivation at a Swedish company? and How does internal factors affect employees work motivation at a Swedish company? A qualitative method was applied. The empirical basis consisted of semi-structured interviews with ten employees at a larger Swedish company within the banking sector. The interviews were coded into several themes of external and internal factors. The analysis was based on Herzberg’s motivation-hygiene theory. The external factors were: benefits, job security, and compensation. The internal factors were: challenge and development, interesting work tasks, meaningful work, feedback through attention and confirmation, as well as freedom and responsibility. The findings showed that while internal factors were perceived to have a direct influence on motivation, external factors were not perceived as having a particularly large influence on motivation. However, when combined with internal factors, also external factors were perceived to influence motivation.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the managers’ perspective on leadership in relation to the motivation of the employees by an example of a manning and recruitment agencies. This is implemented by framing of two questions; What kind of leadership can be identified by middle managers to motivate their employees? Which motivation factors are relevant to employees based on the perspective of the managers? To answer the question and identify leadership strategies and motivational factors and the relationship in between, we have conducted eight interviews with persons who hold a middle management position. Through a qualitative investigation we have been able to go into depth and had access to these managers reflections, thoughts and experiences. The study is deductive and based on two theories; Two Factor Theory (Herzberg, 1959) and internal and external motivation (Deci & Ryan, 2000). The study also takes into account previous research on motivation and leadership such as adults' motivation for learning and training (Ahl, 2006), the transformative leadership (Guthenberg, 2011), recognition of motivation (Hansen and Hermansson, 2013), and indications of what creates a good workplace (Lindberg and Vineyard, 2012). We have, using empirical data, developed and identified categories based on two themes, leadership and motivation, to answer our question. Empirical evidence shows that the developed categories commitment and presence, leadership coaching, individual and situational leadership, reward, daily work and corporate culture/relationships go hand in hand and are necessary to achieve good leadership to increase motivation. By this we mean that the involvement and presence, coaching, personalised and situational leadership are central to achieve what we have distinguished to be good leadership. While the reward, the daily work and the corporate culture and the relationships within the organisation are essential parameters to get motivated employees based on the manager's approach. We can also see that these two themes are related and interdependent. Based on empirical data, we perceive that the organisation we studied the good leadership is resulting in better conditions for motivated employees.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka om Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori har relevans i praktiken idag inom läraryrket. Studien är kvalitativ med deduktiv ansats utifrån Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori. Totalt 10 semistrukturerade intervjuer utfördes med lärare från högstadie- och universitetsnivå vilka sedan analyserades tematiskt. Resultatet visade att Herzbergs teori fortfarande är tillämpningsbar inom yrket lärare. Resultatet visade däremot på att det fanns skillnader i vad för faktorer som är av mest vikt hos lärarna gentemot vad Herzberg påstod. De mest avgörande faktorerna för arbetsmotivation hos lärarna var eget ansvar, bekräftelse och den psykosociala arbetsmiljön. Förslag till vidare forskning är att säkerhetsställa rangordningen av faktorerna som har störst betydelse för arbetsmotivationen inom läraryrket. Ett annat förslag till vidare forskning är att se om det finns faktorer från Herzbergs tvåfaktorteori som rangordnas annorlunda inom andra yrkeskategorier.
The purpose of the study is to examine whether Herzberg's two-factor theory is still relevant in practice today in the teaching profession. The study is qualitative with a deductive approach based on Herzberg's two-factor theory. A total of 10 semi-structured interviews were conducted with high school and university teachers, which were then analyzed thematically. The result showed that Herzberg's theory is still applicable and valid in the profession of teaching. The results, on the other hand, show that there are differences in which factors that are the most important for the teachers in relation to what Herzberg claimed. The most important factors for the teachers' work motivation are having their own responsibility over their time, recognition and the psychosocial work environment. Suggestions for further research are to secure the ranking of the factors that are most important for the work motivation within the teaching profession. Also evaluate if there are factors from Herzberg's two-factor theory that are ranked differently in other professions.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka huruvida det finns likheter och skillnader mellan generationerna X (1960-1980) och Z (1995-2012) gällande arbetsmotivation. Följaktligen ligger intresse för studien att undersöka huruvida värderingar skiljer i vilka faktorer som är mest centrala för arbetsmotivationen. Tidigare forskning anses vara tvetydig och därmed bidrar denna studie till ökad förståelse av forskningsämnet. Studien har genomförts utifrån en kvalitativ metod och dataanalysen har genomförts utifrån tematisk analys. Intervjuerna genomfördes med tolv respondenter, varav sex var från vardera generation som tillhör företagen Structor och Volkswagen finans. Detta analyserades därefter utifrån teorierna tvåfaktorsteorin, Maslows behovshierarki, Self determination theory och McClellands motivationsteori samt tidigare generationsforskning.  Studien identifierade likheter och skillnader mellan generation X och Zs arbetsmotivation. De faktorer som identifierades bland generation Z är flexibla arbetsuppgifter, relationer med kollegor, kontinuerlig feedback samt meningsfulla arbetsuppgifter. De faktorer som identifierades bland generation X är liknande men ur olika perspektiv. Generation X ser feedback som ett slags erkännande snarare än bekräftelse, relationer ses ur ett arbetsperspektiv samt att de är självsäkra i sin kompetens och föredrar ansvarsfrihet i sitt arbete. Slutligen visar det sig att bägge generationerna vill nå en personlig utveckling och föredrar meningsfulla arbetsuppgifter, vilket tyder på att deras motivation främst baseras på inre motivationsfaktorer.
The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there are similarities and differences between generation X (1960-1980) and generation Z (1995-2012) regarding work motivation. Consequently, there is interest in the study to examine whether values ​​are sent in which factors are most central to work motivation. Previous research is ambiguous and thus this study contributes to an increased understanding of the research topic. The study has been carried out on the basis of a qualitative method and the data analysis has been carried out on the basis of thematic analysis. The interviews were conducted with a total of twelve respondents, six of them were from each generation belonging to the company Structor and Volkswagen finans. This was then analyzed on the basis of the theories such as two factor theory, Maslow's hierarchy of needs, Self determination theory and McClelland's motivation theory as well as previous generational research. The study identified differences and similarities between Generation X and Z's work motivation. The factors identified among generation Z are flexible work tasks, relationships with colleagues, continuous feedback and meaningful work tasks. The factors identified among generation X are similar to generation Z but from different perspectives. Generation X sees feedback as a kind of recognition rather than confirmation, relationships are seen from a work perspective and that they are confident in their skills and prefer discharge in their work. Finally, it turns out that both generations want to achieve personal development and prefer meaningful tasks, indicating that their motivation is primarily based on internal motivational factors.

This dissertation seeks to deepen understanding towards language change by answering three questions: What is the unit of change? What is the manner of change? What are the factors of change? Three cases of linguistic innovation in the Chinese language are examined. Adopting a usage-based approach, I analyze the language data of these three linguistic innovations, and the results provide unanimous answers to the three questions. First, the basic unit of language change is a construction, and it can be of any length, such as phrasal, clausal or discourse-length. Second, these cases of linguistic innovation present a scenario of change led by high-frequency exemplars, demonstrating that language change can be abrupt rather than gradual. Third, the external factors giving rise to the exemplars prove crucial in reconstructing language change in progress. All three case studies present linguistic innovation as a response to a changing material reality. I thus advocate a usage-based constructionist approach that considers external factors in the investigation of language change, as it allows us to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the process.

The modern economy is characterized by a high level of dynamism of the factors of the external and internal environment of enterprises, influencing the possibility of their stable development. With the transition of the Russian economy to market methods of doing business, in which enterprise management must take into account various scenarios, risk becomes an integral element of socio-economic relations. Risk is present in all spheres of life, regardless of whether its presence is taken into account in the situation of choosing an alternative method of managing a business entity or not. The transportation of English overseas in the colonial period, between approximately 1600 and 1900, from different parts of England, Scotland, and Ireland led to the rise of diverse varieties of English depending on the source area from which most of the founder generation originated from as well as on the mixture of dialects at the overseas locations and the ecologies of these sites. This study is concerned with the extent to which features of English input to new overseas varieties were retained and what factors were instrumental in this process (e.g., whether the areas are relic or diaspora locations). Further issues in this complex are considered, for example, focusing, reanalysis of variation, internal dialect patterning, and the refunctionalization and reallocation of features. Innovation, as the reverse process of retention, is then considered, specifically the internal and external motivation for this. In addition, shared innovations across the Anglophone world are looked at. Finally, the various models for accounting for the genesis of new varieties of English are examined.

AbstractInstagram has been an emerging platform for tourists to share their experiences and connect with other users in the multiphasic travel stages. Despite the huge number of photographs shared on Instagram on a daily basis, it remains ambiguous regarding the underlying motives of tourists’ posting behaviour. Thus, this study aims to conceptualise a framework based on the internal and external triggers of sharing travel photographs through a mix methods design involving diary studies and questionnaires. By conducting a path analysis, this study presents and validates a theoretical model including various motivational factors; namely enjoyment, self-esteem, recognition, interests, social norms, goals, social ties, social status and prestige, self-efficiency, outcome expectations and memorabilia. Meanwhile, this research clusters young techsavvy tourists into four distinct segments based on their behaviour of using Instagram while traveling. By bridging motivational theories, social psychology, and social media in the context of tourism, this research extends literature related to user-generated content and Instagram. Practically, this research allows marketers to optimise the effectiveness of marketing strategies based on the characteristics of tourists and their behaviour on social media platforms.

We studied the psychological factors associated with the efficiency of online learning by using a sample of students from a Russian university (Ural Federal University). We used as a point of departure the idea of adaptive learning, which assumes that academic success in an online course is associated with the characteristics of cognitive, emotional, volitional and other areas of a student’s personality. The resulting general linear model includes such factors as internal motivation, external motivation, intelligence, personal qualities, training experience and openness to experience, which have an extremely low proportion of explained variance — 3 %. Based on the above research, the key conclusion was made that a successful student is successful in any training format. In other words, the focus of search for improving the efficiency of online learning should be not only on the psychological characteristics of those students who are successful in the online format, but also on improving the pedagogical design of the online course.

Анотація:
Achieving and maintaining a high level of performance is a goal desired by athletes and their entire training team, regardless of the chosen sport branch. Sports performance involves daily training both physically and psychologically. Decreased performance in athletes can be manifested by: lack of concentration, eating and sleep disorders, increased fatigue, anxiety, muscle tension, etc. [7, p. 247]. Relaxation techniques have been used in the sports field mainly to improve performance, manage anxiety and enhance the recovery process after training and competitions [23, p. 406]. Among the psychological factors important for achieving performance, we can find: motivation (internal and external), interest, emotional control, self-confidence, concentration, etc.

Анотація:
Youth entrepreneurship can become one of the driving locomotives in the development of the Russian economy. The empirical investigation aimed at eliciting youth potential and feasibility of promoting their giftedness in the entrepreneurial sphere. 220 students and postgraduates of 13 universities, located in 12 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, participated in it. The research was conducted by means of a questionnaire during the all-Russian program for the development of the youth project environment “Innograd — 2019: my start”. Content-analysis and descriptive statistics methods were used for data processing. The phenomenon of giftedness to entrepreneurial activity, based on a set of interconnected psychic determinants, including creativity, intrinsic motivation, perseverance in achieving goals, leadership and organizational skills, non-conformism, may be discussed only in exceptional cases (about 1 %). Meanwhile, modern youth has the potential to start a business and connects their professional future with it. Youth entrepreneurship is a multi-motivated activity. External positive and external negative, internal motives are combined into a single structure. It is internal motives, prompted by the needs for self-realization and independence that determine entrepreneurial giftedness. Modern young people consider the main barriers to launching their own business to be outside. To these they refer deficiency of start-up capital, lack of knowledge and adverse environmental factors. Supportive measures, provided by the state through the creation of appropriate infrastructure, eliminate the majority of the difficulties and reduce the risks in setting up own businesses. For young people, gifted in the business field, these barriers are conditional.

Анотація:
The skills of Marine Engineering graduates should be strongly oriented to problem solving for situations without external direct assistance. Marine professionals should also be able to take the right decisions under difficult situations like emergencies. Work-group and job planning is an every day requirement, especially when doing maintenance and reparation tasks. Besides, marine technology has advanced quickly and knowledge recycling is a must on every shipping company, but operation and maintenance procedures have usually to be learnt on the go. During last decades, marine engineering students had not got immersed into a real challenge work environment until going onboard for the first time when finishing their studies. The adoption of a problem-based learning is intended to solve this situation, so students will have a closer contact with real decision-taking and auto-learning situations on earlier stages. We pretend to create more engaging experiences and introduce our students into real collaborative environments using technologies; especially those based on mobile devices and Internet tools. Grounded in motivation theory, this research evaluates how the context of problem-based learning (PBL) affects aspects of motivation in students of marine engineering. Our research aims to answer: 1) How does the context of service in project-based learning affect student motivation? 2) What factors are most influential on student motivation to persist in project-based learning experiences? The results show different behavior in freshmen and senior students.

Communication has always been one of the most important tools through which people can interact with each other. Given that the way we interact with people has never been easy, it has evolved today with more languages, channels and different ways of communicating than before. Communication has a unique role, allowing the solution of certain operational, functional and relational problems, but also employee satisfaction. Recent changes have had an impact on organizations and have increased the importance of managing both internal and external communication. Thus, the communication system is also a system of actions, because the activity and the word are intertwined in negotiations, arguments, counseling, explanation of tasks, conflict resolution. Communication in the educational institution is a premise of the performance of instructive-educational processes, a factor that creates an optimal educational climate, a vector for building the reputation and image of the educational organization and a source of motivation for teachers.

Анотація:
The author characterized the Ukrainian national values, national interests and national goals. It is emphasized that national values are conceptual, ideological bases, consolidating factors, important life guidelines on the way to effective protection of Ukraine from Russian aggression and building a democratic, united Ukrainian state. Author analyzes the functioning of the mass media in the context of educational propaganda of individual, social and state values, the dominant core of which are patriotism, human rights and freedoms, social justice, material and spiritual wealth of Ukrainians, natural resources, morality, peace, religiosity, benevolence, national security, constitutional order. These key national values are a strong moral and civic core, a life-giving element, a self-affirming synergy, which on the basis of homogeneity binds the current Ukrainian society with the ancestors and their centuries-old material and spiritual heritage. Attention is focused on the fact that the current problem of building the Ukrainian state and protecting it from the brutal Moscow invaders is directly dependent on the awareness of all citizens of the essence of national values, national interests, national goals and filling them with the meaning of life, charitable socio-political life. It is emphasized that the missionary vocation of journalists to orient readers and listeners to the meaningful choice of basic national values, on the basis of which Ukrainian citizens, regardless of nationality together they will overcome the external Moscow and internal aggression of the pro-Russian fifth column, achieve peace, return the Ukrainian territories seized by the Kremlin imperialists and, in agreement will build Ukrainian Ukraine.

Анотація:
The article examines the world and Ukrainian history of corporate periodicals. The main purpose of this study is to reproduce an objective global picture of the emergence and formation of corporate periodicals, taking into account the business and socio-economic context. Accordingly, its tasks are to compare the conditions and features of corporate media genesis in different countries, to determine the main factors of their development, as well as to clarify the transformations of the terminological apparatus. The research is based on mostly foreign secondary scientific works published from 1915 to the present time. The literature was studied using methods such as overview, historical, functional and thematic analysis, description, and generalization. A systematic approach was used to determine the role and place of each element in the system, as well as to comprehensively consider the object in the general historical context and within the current scientific discourse. The method of systematization made it possible to establish internal and external connections, patterns and contradictions in the development of the object of study. The main historical milestones on this path are identified, examples of the first successful corporate publications and their contribution to business development, public relations, and corporate communications are considered. It was found that corporate media emerged in the mid-nineteenth century spontaneously, on the wave of practical business needs in response to industrialization, company increase, staff growth, and consumer market development. Their appearance preceded the formation of the public relations industry and changed the structure of the information space. The scientific significance of this research is that the historical look at the evolution of corporate media provides an understanding of their place, influence, capabilities, and growing communicative role in the digital age.

Анотація:
The article analyzes the peculiarities of the media content shaping and transformation in the convergent dimension of cross-media, taking into account the possibilities of augmented reality. With the help of the principles of objectivity, complexity and reliability in scientific research, a number of general scientific and special methods are used: method of analysis, synthesis, generalization, method of monitoring, observation, problem-thematic, typological and discursive methods. According to the form of information presentation, such types of media content as visual, audio, verbal and combined are defined and characterized. The most important in journalism is verbal content, it is the one that carries the main information load. The dynamic development of converged media leads to the dominance of image and video content; the likelihood of increasing the secondary content of the text increases. Given the market situation, the effective information product is a combined content that combines text with images, spreadsheets with video, animation with infographics, etc. Increasing number of new media are using applications and website platforms to interact with recipients. To proceed, the peculiarities of the new content of new media with the involvement of augmented reality are determined. Examples of successful interactive communication between recipients, the leading news agencies and commercial structures are provided. The conditions for effective use of VR / AR-technologies in the media content of new media, the involvement of viewers in changing stories with augmented reality are determined. The so-called immersive effect with the use of VR / AR-technologies involves complete immersion, immersion of the interested audience in the essence of the event being relayed. This interaction can be achieved through different types of VR video interactivity. One of the most important results of using VR content is the spatio-temporal and emotional immersion of viewers in the plot. The recipient turns from an external observer into an internal one; but his constant participation requires that the user preferences are taken into account. Factors such as satisfaction, positive reinforcement, empathy, and value influence the choice of VR / AR content by viewers.
