In adults intussusception is rare and accounts for 1% of all bowel obstructions. Colo-colic are less frequent representing less than 25% of all intussusceptions and are more likely to have an underlying malignancy as there is higher prevalence of colonic carcinoma. Summary Medical records of 31 dogs that had undergone surgery for correction of intussusception during a 14-year period were reviewed.
