AbstractWe performed 12CO(J = 2 − 1) and 13CO(J = 2 − 1) line surveys of the galactic plane using the AMANOGAWA telescope (Nakajima et al. 2007) which covers 5° ≤ l ≤ 180° on a 7'.5 grid. The telescope beamsize and velocity resolution are 8.7′ ± 0.4′ and 1.3 km s−1. The resultant rms noise level is typically 0.12 K in TA*. We found a linear correlation between 12CO(J = 2 − 1) and 12CO(J = 1 − 0) and a curved correlation between 12CO(J = 2 − 1) and 13CO (J = 2 − 1), although the intensity ratios of these three lines have intrinsic variation. Other correlation variants have been tested and the dataset enlarged for more recent entries possessing the Fe-O-Fe bridge including dinuclear, tetranuclear and hexanuclear Fe(III) complexes. The resulting relationships confirm that instead of the original suggestions, the correlation could stay as a linear relationship which covers the possibilities of positive values of exchange coupling constants.

In this paper, we proposed a new corresponding state-based correlation for organic fatty (aliphatic, carboxylic and polyfunctional) acids. By using the recently published surface tension data of the 99 acids [A. Mulero and I. Cachadiña, J. Phys. Chem. Ref. Data 45 (2016) 033105] and comparing with the recently published other corresponding state correlations, we found that this correlation reproduces the lowest absolute average deviation (AAD) values for 82 acids out of the 99 acids. It can reproduce the surface tension data with AAD less than 10% for 89 out of the 99 acids.

This study correlated biomass heat capacity (Cp) with the chemistry (sulfur and ash content), crystallinity index, and temperature of various samples. A five-parameter linear correlation predicted 576 biomass Cp samples from four different origins with the absolute average relative deviation (AARD%) of ~1.1%. The proportional reduction in error (REE) approved that ash and sulfur contents only enlarge the correlation and have little effect on the accuracy.
