Plots were 4 rows × 25 ft arranged in a randomized complete block design and replicated 3 times. Temik 15G was applied with a mechanical drop spreader. Furadan 15G and Disyston 15G were applied with a hand held shaker can. All treatments were applied the day of planting. Posttreatment counts were made on 29 Sep by counting the number of aphids on 5 plants/plot. The percentage of green peach aphid ranged from a high of 60% to a low of 30% from plant to plant.

Atlantic) plants, 20 to 25 cm high, grown from prenuclear minitubers in greenhouses located at the USDA-ARS facility in Prosser, WA exhibited necrotic spots similar to those produced by the early blight pathogen, Alternaria solani.
