The results of studies on the effect of planting time and potato plant nutrient potency in vitro, micro plants of potato that have undergone adaptation to the yield of minitubers from a unit area. It was established that the first planting period (June 10) of test tubes and seedlings was optimal. The overall survival rate averaged 82.0%. The device for growing plants without using soil in a water-air nutrient medium for mass replication of healthy minitubers of potatoes is presented which allows to increase the planting density to 60 plants per 1 m2, the multiplication coefficient - up to 50 or more tubers per plant, the yield of tubers - up to 3000 pcs/m2 and more. In the absence of the substrate it becomes possible to actively influence the growth-stimulating characteristics of the grown plants and control metabolic processes, apply a differentiated nutrition regime to control of plant development by phases.
