Molecular imaging (MI) with ultrasonography relies on microbubble contrast agents (MCAs) adhering to a ligand-specific target for applications such as characterizing tumor angiogenesis. It is projected that ultrasonic (US) MI can provide information about tumor therapeutic response before the detection of phenotypic changes. One of the limitations of preclinical US MI is that it lacks a comprehensive field of view. We attempted to improve targeted MCA visualization and quantification by performing three-dimensional (3D) MI of tumors expressing αvβ3 integrin. Volumetric acquisitions were obtain

However, it is still not fully understood. Several biomarkers are tested as predictors of left ventricle (LV) remodeling after myocardial infarction (MI). The aim of this study was to assess the relationship between selected microRNAs (miRNAs) and LV function and morphology in patients after MI. Materials and Methods: Selected miRNAs related to heart failure were assessed in the acute phase of MI: miR-150-3p, miR-21-5p, miR-19b-3

Assessments of the relationship between wakefulness and tasks states are conducted to foster neurophysiological and mechanistic interpretation in MI-related applications. Thus, to understand the organization of information processing, measures of functional connectivity are used. While matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) activity is known to be an important mediator of left ventricular (LV) remodeling after MI, atrial MMP activation in this setting has not been well studied.
