Pada kenyataannya, program pendidikan TIK belum bisa menjangkau siswa/siswa di beberapa sekolah yang terletak di pelosok atau pedesaan, termasuk juga sekolah menengah yang berada di Desa Mook Manaar Bulatn Kutai Barat Seberang yaitu SMK 1 Negeri Mook Manaar Bulatn. Hal ini disebabkan karena tidak adanya guru yang mampu mengajarkan materi tersebut. Begitu juga bagi perangkat desa, masih banyak yang belum memanfaatkan teknologi komputer ini untuk mengelola arsip desa. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas, usulan untuk program Pengabdian di Desa Mook Manaar Bulatn Kutai Barat Seberang adalah pelatihan Microsoft Word dan Microsoft Excel bagi siswa sekolah menengah dan guru SMK 1 Negeri Mook Manaar Bulatn. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, diharapkan siswa memiliki bekal dalam hal mengoperasikan komputer serta mampu membantu membuatkan surat menyurat sehingga siswa mampu mempercepat pengembangan ilmu pengetahuannya. Bagi perangkat desa diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan komputer dan internet untuk memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapi desa. Misalnya permasalahan dalam bidang pertanian dan peternakan.

Village-owned enterprises have a strong role in rebranding superior village products to increase people’s income and employment. Researcher of Doktor Mengabdi (DM) Program from the University of Brawijaya has entered the 5th year of the 2017-2021 activity roadmap in Sakaq Tada Village, Mook Manaar Bulatn District, West Kutai Regency. In the 5th year, the DM team focused their activities on rebranding BUMKam palm sugar processed products to accelerate the industrialization of superior products in West Kutai Regency. Palm sugar is a superior regional product in West Kutai Regency. The sub-districts with the highest sugar palm commodities in West Kutai Regency are Barong Tongkok at 9.44 tons/year, Peninggahan at 7.24 tons/year, and Mook Manaar Bulatn at 6.92 tons/year. Mook Manaar Bulatn District can develop as a superior product of regional palm sugar in the long term with a large plantation area. BUMKam Sakaq Tada, as a distributor, accommodates palm sugar from farmers, then packaging and sales are carried out with the planned consumer net strategy. BUMKam Sakaq Tada needs to synergize with various stakeholders to maximize the marketing and distribution of palm sugar products

Анотація:
The high-precision radiocarbon calibration curve for short-lived samples (1–4 yr) of the early historical period (3rd millennium BC) presented previously (Vogel et al. 1986) has been further substantiated and extended to link with a similar curve produced by de Jong for part of the 4th millennium BC (de Jong & Mook 1980). The precise dendrochronological age of the sample set measured by de Jong has finally been fixed (de Jong, Mook & Becker 1989), so that the two sets now cover the period 1930–3900 BC, i.e., the Early Bronze Age and Late Chalcolithic periods of the Middle East. The standard calibration curve for the two sets is presented by Vogel and van der Plicht (1993).

Borealosuchus Brochu 1997 was erected for a group of Late Cretaceous through early Eocene eusuchian crocodyliform species formerly assigned to Leidyosuchus Lambe 1907. Borealosuchus wilsoni was originally described by Mook (1959) based solely on a dorsoventrally crushed skull from the early Eocene (Wasatchian) Green River Formation of Wyoming, and assigned to Leidyosuchus. Later analyses referred specimens from the late Paleocene and middle Miocene to the species (Brochu, 1997). In phylogenetic analyses, Borealosuchus has been retrieved as either a basal crocodylian (e.g., Salisbury and Willis, 1996; Brochu, 1997; Wu et al., 2001; Buscalioni et al., 2011; Brochu et al., 2012; Narváez et al., 2016) or a close crocodylian outgroup (e.g. Benton and Clark, 1988; Pol et al., 2009; Turner and Pritchard, 2015). More exact phylogenetic placement of Borealosuchus remains unclear. Borealosuchus wilsoni is stratigraphically the youngest species of Borealosuchus, and one of the most completely known, and as such, it figures prominently in ongoing debates over the phylogenetic relationships and origin of crown group Crocodylia. Given its long stratigraphic range in the literature, the question of whether specimens currently referred to B. wilsoni all pertain to a single species is open. This study focuses on a more thorough description of the skeletal morphology of Eocene Borealosuchus, and a revision of the taxonomy of this assemblage, including the conspecific nature of Wasatchian Borealosuchus wilsoni and middle Eocene (Bridgerian) fossils referred to Borealosuchus wilsoni, including material of Diplocynodon stuckeri Mook 1960. A phylogenetic re-assessment of B. wilsoni will hopefully provide further resolution within Borealosuchus and among other closely related taxa. Specimens were coded with a matrix of 190 morphological characters and subjected to phylogenetic analysis. The diversity of Borealosuchus during the Eocene has been underestimated and specimens from the Bridgerian are diagnosable and distinct from those of the preceding Wasatchian stage. A new species will be erected to contain this material. The erection of a new species of Eocene Borealosuchus renders the holotype of D. stuckeri non-diagnostic at the species level, and a new holotype USNM 12990 is designated for Bridgerian Borealosuchus. Some specimens assigned to Brachyuranochampsa eversolei and Crocodylus affinis may also be referable to Borealosuchus. The addition of new material to Borealosuchus increases the diversity of this group during the Eocene.

Анотація:
Traditional chemical looping technologies utilize solid oxygen carriers and has some disadvantages, especially when solid fuels like coal are used. In this work, a novel chemical looping process using gaseous metal oxide as oxygen carrier was proposed. The reaction of activated charcoal with gas-phase MoO3 was studied for the first time. The experiments were conducted isothermally at different temperatures in a fixed-bed reactor. The apparent activation energy of the reaction was calculated and suitable kinetic models were determined. The results and analysis showed that the proposed concept has potential in both coal chemical looping combustion and gasification process. To further investigate the mechanism of carbon oxidation by gas-phase MoO3, the adsorption of a gaseous (MoO3)3 cluster on a graphene ribbon and subsequent generation of COx was studied by density functional theory (DFT) method and compared with experimental results. The (MoO3)n -graphene complexes show interesting magnetic properties and potentials for nanodevices. A comprehensive analysis of plausible reaction mechanisms of CO and CO2 generation was conducted. Multiple routes to CO and CO2 formation were identified. The (MoO3)3 cluster shows negative catalytic effect for CO formation but does not increase the energy barrier for CO2 formation, indicating CO2 is the primary product. Mechanism of the homogenous MoO3 - CO reaction was studied and showed relatively low energy barriers. The DFT result accounts for key experimental observations of activation energy and product selectivity. The combined theoretical and experimental approach contributes to the understanding of the mechanism of reactions between carbon and metal oxide clusters. To gain a better understanding of the MoO2 oxidation process, the adsorption and dissociation of O2 on MoO2 surface were studied by DFT method. The results show that O2 molecules prefer to be adsorbed on the five-coordinated Mo top sites. Density of states analysis shows strong hybridization of Mo 4d orbitals and O 2p orbitals in the Mo-O bond. Clean MoO2 slab and slabs with O2 adsorption are metallic conductors, while the surface with high O atom coverage is reconstructed and becomes a semiconductor. Surface Mo atoms without adsorbed O or O2 are spin-polarized. The oxygen adsorption shows ability to reduce the spin of surface Mo atoms. The adsorption energy of O2 and O atoms decreases as coverage increases. The transition states of O2 dissociation were located. The energy barriers for O2 dissociation on five-coordinated and four-coordinated Mo top sites are 0.227 eV and 0.281 eV, respectively.

Abstract Nonstationary response of a two-degrees-of-freedom system with quadratic coupling under a time varying modulated amplitude sinusoidal excitation is studied. The nonlinearly coupled pitch and roll ship model is based on Nayfeh, Mook and Marshall’s work for the case of stationary excitation. The ship model has a 2:1 internal resonance and is excited near the resonance of the pitch mode. The modulated excitation (F0 + F1 cos ωt) cosQt is used to model a narrow band sea-wave excitation. The response demonstrates a variety of bifurcations, loss of stability, and chaos phenomena that are not present in the stationary case. We consider here the periodically modulated response. Chaotic response of the system is discussed in a separate paper. Several approximate solutions, under both small and large modulating amplitudes F1, are obtained and compared with the exact one. The stability of an exact solution with one mode having zero amplitude is studied. Loss of stability in this case involves either a rapid transition from one of two stable (in the stationary sense) branches to another, or a period doubling bifurcation. From Floquet theory, various stability boundary diagrams are obtained in F1 and F0 parameter space which can be used to predict the various transition phenomena and the period-2 bifurcations. The study shows that both the modulation parameters F1 and ω (the modulating frequency) have great effect on the stability boundaries. Because of the modulation, the stable area is greatly expanded, and the stationary bifurcation point can be exceeded without loss of stability. Decreasing ω can make the stability boundary very complicated. For very small ω the response can make periodic transitions between the two (pseudo) stable solutions.

Since their introduction to the United States in the 1960s, monk parakeets (Myiopsittamonachus) have thrived. Monk parakeets often construct nests on man-made structures, such as electric utility facilities and cell phone towers. Monk parakeets are non-native and not protected by the Federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Their status at the State level varies considerably─from no regulation to complete protection. Thus, it is best to consult with the appropriate local wildlife management agency before initiating any control efforts. The monk parakeet is a popular cage bird, and although imports from South America have ceased, many are available in the U.S. through captive breeding and from individuals who take young birds from nests.
