Due to its importance in influencing costs and the behaviors and attitudes of current organization members, compensation represents a critical dimension of the human resource management. The study of their effects on the performance of organizations falls under the strategic perspective which stipulates that the effectiveness of the practices and policies of compensation is linked to their fit with the strategies of the organization. The main stream of empirical focus on bivariate relations in order to identify the most effective practices taking into account the business and/or diversification strategy of an organization. Results are contradictory. Recently, research in strategic human resource management, integrating the contributions of the resource-based view, suggests studying alignment focusing both on the fit between compensation practices itself and between compensation and others HR practice in the search of synergies source of sustainable competitive advantage. This thesis studies the relevance of the concept of system to describe the effectiveness of compensation policies and practices. From data collected from 212 large French companies, this emperical research, on a population of managers, highlights that synergies between the practices and policies of remuneration contributes to the perception of a competitive advantage by human resources defined in terms of attraction and retention of the best members and their motivation

The study of the social welfare of the farmer victim of accidents reveals theexistence of disparities between the victims themselves and between the industrial accidentsand the common law. These disparities are inherent to farmer’s quality; whether he isemployed or not, the latter does not benefit from the same rights. In addition, the injuredfarmer in the course of his professional activity will have only a fixed compensation. Thelatter tends to compensate the loss of income and the professional incidence of the accident.Compensation for personal injury is excluded except in the hypothesis of unforgivablemisconduct of the employer. As for the victims of accidents of common law, their socialwelfare is only optimized if they possess a top up insurance plan that will completerepayments in cash and in kind of the agricultural system. Except the coverage of the basiclegal system, the compensation of accidents of common law tends to be complete. In order toensure that all accident victims are treated with equal manner by law and that compensationfor all their injuries can be achieved, we recommend solutions so that the disparities betweenthe farmers victims of accidents can disappear

This study offers a description and analysis of the economic structure, until the mid 19th century, of the fraction of Occidental Normandy which is currently the department “La Manche”. The first part builds up the evolution of population (down to each parish or community), prices of the main agricultural products and salaries from the early 14th century; it offers detailed comparisons with corresponding elements in other French regions. It elaborates on the joint evolution of population and prices, and prices and salaries, in order to caracterise the five or six main stages of this territory’s economic history. The second part successively deals with each of the main branches of industry (agriculture, industry and craftsmanship, maritime trade), between the early 17th (agriculture) or 18th (other sectors) century and the 1850’s. A detailed description is given for each industry, or where appropriate individual companies, leading to estimated evolutions of revenues, added value (in some cases profitability) and staff over the course of the study period, with the help of simple industry-specific econometric models. The strengths and weaknesses of this economy are finally assessed, with the perspective in mind of its further integration into 19th century France

What is the profile of the ghost named as bureaucracy depicted in the real faces of these salaried people? How is the life of workers, white and blue collars, peasants and intellectuals in this so rich country in natural and human resources and so poor physically and spiritually? Using tables and graphics, interviews and descriptions, the essay would like to present the true face of Vietnam with the hope to work out for a (while remaining blurring vague) outline named as Hope
