O presente trabalho refere-se ao SACI - Sistema de Apoio na Avaliação de Distúrbios do Crescimento Infantil, que se propõe a realizar o diagnóstico precoce de distúrbios associados à falência do crescimento infantil, em crianças com até 2 anos. O SACI explora o raciocínio probabilístico em sistemas especialistas, tendo sido desenvolvido para a plataforma Windows, no ambiente Delphi 5, utilizando as DLL's da shell Netica para esse ambiente de programação. O SACI permite que o diagnóstico seja realizado, de forma a disponibilizar os dados relacionados à evolução do crescimento da criança graficamente, e que sejam investigadas as suspeitas de perda de peso e altura da criança, por meio de evidências a serem observadas. Na avaliação realizada junto a médicos pediatras, especialistas do domínio de conhecimento, verificou-se que o SACI é de fácil utilização, apresentando resultados satisfatórios às diversas consultas realizadas.

TESIS PARA OPTAR AL GRADO DE MAGÍSTER EN FINANZASRodríguez Vallejos, Camilo Ignacio [Parte I mediante el método de múltiplos], [Parte II Burgos Adasme, Felipe Andrés mediante el método de flujos de caja descontado]
La valoración de empresas es un proceso mediante el cual, a través de información contable, financiera y económica es posible obtener un valor determinado para una compañía. Lo anterior permite apoyar procesos de toma de decisiones respecto a inversiones, fusiones y adquisiciones, y enajenaciones de empresa, entre otros. Si bien existen diferentes métodos de valoración, en este estudio se utilizará el método de flujo de caja descontados y el método de múltiplos o comparables. El primero se enfoca en proyectar los resultados de la empresa bajo determinados supuestos, obteniendo un flujo de caja libre, el cual descontado a una tasa WACC, también determinada a través de este método, permite obtener una estimación del valor de la firma; lo anterior tiene como fundamento teórico lo expuesto por Modigliani y Miller. Por otro lado, el método de múltiplos o comparables, consiste en escoger value drivers de una empresa, los cuales se encuentran relacionados con el valor de esta y que permiten establecer una relación entre el valor de la variable y el valor de la firma, determinando de forma simple el valor aproximado de una firma, a través de la comparación entre múltiplos de empresas que participan en el mismo sector industrial. Sin embargo, su mayor simplicidad podría generar menor precisión en la estimación del valor de la compañía. En particular, el objetivo del presente estudio, es estimar el valor de la acción al 30 de Septiembre del 2017 del retailer chileno SACI Falabella, el cual cuenta con presencia en 6 países de Sudamérica. Lo anterior permite determinar si el valor de la acción se encuentra subvalorado o sobrevalorado por el mercado. Con lo anterior, se estimó el valor de la compañía y su precio por acción al cierre de sept- 17, obteniendo un precio de $6.209 bajo el método de flujo de caja descontado, el cual es consistente con el precio de la acción observado a la misma fecha ($6.242), con una diferencia menor al 1%. Adicionalmente, la valorización mediante múltiplos arrojo un precio de la acción al cierre de sept-17 de $3.887, el cual es un 38% inferior al precio real observado.

Il genere del cosiddetto “poema sacro” fu uno dei più frequentati nella letteratura italiana tra il XVI e il XVIII secolo, ma le opere afferenti a questa categoria letteraria sono state a lungo ignorate dai critici. La mia ricerca si propone di studiare una sezione limitata di tale enorme produzione, ossia le opere in volgare pubblicate nel Ducato di Milano, coprendo un arco temporale che va dal 1566 al 1706. Sulla base di una rigorosa analisi dei componimenti, spesso poco studiati o del tutto sconosciuti, questo lavoro intende delineare le peculiari declinazioni dell'epica sacra nella realtà milanese, fortemente influenzata dall'indirizzo culturale proposto da Carlo e Federico Borromeo. Gli autori dei poemi considerati sono Sisto Poncello, Giovanni Maria Paroli, Cesare Della Porta, Ettore Colombo, Annibale Guasco, Giacomo Turamini, Antonio da Brugnato, Bernardino Baldi, Antonio Biaguazzone, Giulio Fe', Lelio Guidiccioni, Ambrogio Ferro, Francesco Antonio Tomasi, Francesco Pallavicini, Stefano Rossi, Giacinto Faggi, Giuseppe De Maltraversi, Pietro Paolo Giletti, Alessandro Ghirardelli, Basilio Bertucci.The so-called “sacred poem” was one of the most successful genres of the Italian literature between the 16th and the 18th century, but the works belonging to this category have usually been ignored by critics. My research aims at studying a limited part of this enormous literary production, considering the vernacular poems published in the Duchy of Milan between 1566 and 1706. On the basis of a meticulous analysis of the texts, often scarcely studied or completely unknown, I intend to determine the features of the sacred epic in the Milanese environment, which was strongly influenced by the cultural policy promoted by Carlo and Federico Borromeo. Die Idee zu der vorliegenden Masterarbeit entstand nach meinem Praktikum bei dem Bologneser Unternehmen Meccanica Sarti, das im Bereich der metallmechanischen Industrie tätig ist. Ziel meiner Masterarbeit ist die Lokalisierung der Unternehmenswebsite ins Deutsche und die deutsche Übersetzung der Unternehmensbroschüre. Vor beiden Projekten wurde jeweils eine Terminologiearbeit durchgeführt.
Die Masterarbeit ist in vier Kapitel untergliedert. Das erste Kapitel ist Meccanica Sarti gewidmet, einem Unternehmen, das sich auf die Fertigung und Bearbeitung feinmechanischer Bauteile für die Industrie spezialisiert hat.
Das zweite Kapitel bietet eine theoretische Einführung in die Lokalisierung: Insbesondere werden die wichtigsten mit ihr verknüpften Konzepte (z.B. das Akronym GILT), ihre Geschichte und ihre Entwicklung erläutert. Das Kapitel enthält auch einen Überblick auf die den ÜbersetzerInnen während der Lokalisierung zur Verfügung stehenden elektronischen Hilfsmittel und die Auszeichnungs- bzw. Programmiersprachen, mit denen die Webseiten geschrieben sind.
Im dritten Kapitel werden die Fachsprachen und die Terminologiearbeit thematisiert. Die Übersetzung eines Fachtextes ist nur dann möglich, wenn die ÜbersetzerInnen den Wortschatz des betreffenden Fachgebiets, d.h. die Terminologie, kennen. Nach einer Übersicht über die Merkmale der Fachsprachen und der Terminologie wird auf die von Meccanica Sarti benutzte Terminologie eingegangen. Im Rahmen der Masterarbeit wurde zunächst ein Korpus mit den vom Unternehmen zur Verfügung gestellten Dokumenten erstellt und mit dem Programm AntConc wurden die häufigsten keyword und n-gram ermittelt. Im Anschluss daran wurden mit SDL MultiTerm die einschlägigen terminologischen Eintrage erstellt.
Das vierte Kapitel beinhaltet die Analyse der Website und der Broschüre und die Auseinandersetzung mit ihren sprachlichen bzw. grafischen Merkmalen. An die Analyse schließt sich eine Überlegung zu SDL Trados, dem benutzen CAT Tool, an. Das Kapitel enthält auch die Lokalisierung der Website und die Übersetzung der Broschüre, die beide ins Deutsche durchgeführt wurden. Abschließend werden die Übersetzungsstrategien, -verfahren, -probleme und -schwierigkeiten anhand der theoretischen Überlegungen am Anfang des Kapitels beschrieben.

TESIS PARA OPTAR AL GRADO DE MAGÍSTER EN FINANZASEl presente trabajo trata de la valorizar la empresa Falabella S.A. por el método de Flujo de Caja Descontado, tomando para ello los resultados al 30 de junio de 2017. Como base para realizar la valoración, primeramente se procedió a analizar la empresa y su rubro, poniendo especial énfasis en cada una de las unidades de negocio que componen Falabella y en el nivel de desarrollo de estos por país, para efectos de poder entender las principales características, así como entender los principales fundamentos que explican las proyecciones realizadas tanto para construir su balance así como para su estados de resultado. Si bien Falabella cuenta con un negocio Retail y otro bancario, no se aplicaron modelos especiales de valoración de bancos. Los modelos de Modigliani y Miller (1963), Rubinstein (1973) y CAPM son utilizados para determinar el Costo de Capital, el cual se estimó en 5,26%, para ellos se ha utilizado como base la información financiera tanto de su deuda como de la estructura de capital de la empresa. Luego y en base a la información histórica por segmentos y estimaciones propias así como proyecciones disponibles de analistas, se procedió a proyectar los ingresos, costos y gastos para elaborar un flujo de caja libre, con el que obtuvimos el valor presente de los flujos proyectados incluyendo el exceso de capital de trabajo con el que se cerró el primer semestre del 2017. Luego, determinamos el valor de los activos prescindibles, el valor de la deuda financiera, el valor de los activos no operacionales y el valor de las actividades no controladas con el que se permitió estimar el valor total del Patrimonio Económico, el cual se estimó en UF 532.109.212 Con un total de 2.434.465.103 de acciones comunes, el valor estimado de la acción es UF 0,219, esto es $ 5.813. La acción de Falabella S.A. el 30 de agosto de 2017 se transó desde un mínimo de $6.100 a un máximo $6.400, cerrando a un valor de $6.304, esto es al día siguiente en que fueron publicados los estados financieros de Falabella S.A.

Con l’edizione commentata di un’opera giovanile di Sforza Pallavicino, il poema inedito e incompleto 'I fasti sacri', si cerca di fornire una ulteriore tessera utile a comprendere e definire le caratteristiche della poetica del circolo barberiniano nella Roma di inizio Seicento.
In apertura dell’opera il 'Discorso intorno al seguente poema' raccoglie le dichiarazioni esplicite della poetica del Pallavicino, a partire dalla riflessione di Tasso sul poema; seguono poi sette canti, ognuno dei quali è anticipato e riassunto da un 'Soggetto' in prosa. In essi l’autore, sul modello dei 'Fasti' di Ovidio, rilegge il calendario in chiave cristiana, raccontando le vicende dei principali santi e martiri di ogni mese. La stesura del testo, sotto la supervisione di Papa Urbano VIII, sembra avvicinarsi alle operazioni di revisione del 'Martyrologium Romanum', in particolare all’edizione voluta dallo stesso Urbano nel 1630.
L’opera, in stretta sintonia con la 'Poetica sacra' di Giovanni Ciampoli ma che dialoga anche con altri testi del classicismo barberiniano, si propone come alternativa alla poesia avvertita come lasciva e mendace della scuola marinista, in un’opposizione spesso polemica, ma che mostra a volte alcune interessanti consonanze con le opere di Marino stesso e di alcuni esponenti del marinismo moderato.The commented edition of the unpublished and unfinished poem ‘I fasti sacri’, written by Sforza Pallavicino in the first years of his poetic activity, proposes new interesting information about Barberini’s circle in Rome, at the beginning of XVII century. Explicit definitions on poetic matter are in the ‘Discorso intorno al seguente poema’, with argumentations taken from the theoretical consideration on the epic poem by Tasso. On the model of Ovid’s ‘Fasti’, throughout seven cantos, each one anticipated by a subject in prose, the author covers the Christian calendar narrating the stories of some important saints and martyrs, in the same years of the revision of ‘Martyrologium Romanum’ promoted by the Pope Urban VIII. The poem, extremely close to ‘Poetica sacra’ by Giovanni Ciampoli but also in dialogue with other works of the classicism of Barberini’s circle, proposes itself as an alternative to Marino’s poetry, perceived like lascivious and mendacious. Notwithstanding an often polemic opposition to Secentismo, the text reveals some interesting consonances with Marino’s works, as well as with other authors of the moderate Marinism.

O atual contexto social tem sido marcado pelo constante avanço tecnológico e científico, pela rápida defasagem dos conhecimentos e pela demanda por profissionais mais qualificadas e capazes de aprender e resolver problemas colaborativamente. A fim de atender esta demanda, o ensino tradicional tem que mudar, de forma que as pessoas possam desenvolver habilidades de “aprender a aprender” e “aprender colaborativamente”. A Aprendizagem Colaborativa tem sido apontada como uma alternativa a este problema, possibilitando uma aprendizagem flexível, ativa e centrada no aluno. Os alunos aprendem em colaboração com outros alunos, o que possibilita uma aprendizagem mais profunda, através de trocas de idéias, dúvidas e pontos de vista. Por outro lado, o advento da rede Internet e a consolidação desta como um importante meio de comunicação mundial têm introduzido novas possibilidades à Aprendizagem Colaborativa Apoiada por Computador (Computer Supported Collaborative Learning – CSCL). Uma atenção especial tem sido dada ao WWW, serviço que possui grande potencial como meio ativo de aprendizagem, embora seja amplamente utilizado como meio passivo de transmissão de informações pela Internet. Este cenário tem viabilizado a utilização da infra-estrutura da Internet para a criação de um sistema de CSCL de grande alcance e a um custo relativamente baixo. O objetivo principal do presente trabalho é propor e implementar um modelo de CSCL baseado na Internet que forneça, de forma integrada, o suporte necessário para o desenvolvimento efetivo de atividades colaborativas de aprendizagem. O trabalho realizado pode ser dividido em três etapas principais: (1) o levantamento teórico, que consistiu no estudo das principais áreas relacionadas com o trabalho desenvolvido, o que foi fundamental para a definição do modelo de sistema de aprendizagem colaborativa proposto; (2) a definição do modelo, que consistiu no levantamento das atividades básicas que devem ser apoiadas por um ambiente de CSCL e na proposição do modelo de um sistema de CSCL baseado na Internet com suporte às atividades levantadas; (3) a implementação do modelo, que possibilitou a verificação da viabilidade da utilização do serviço WWW como base para um ambiente de CSCL, através da utilização de recursos de programação para web e da integração de ferramentas já existentes na Internet.

This thesis is a critical review of Taman Sari, Yogyakarta in particular how the Old City Planning including the Pleasure Garden which has multi functions was established in Indonesia during the ancient time ( in the past ), the development during the Dutch era, and current conditions and how the future generation should take care of the place.
The discussions, analysis, synthesis and assumption were done based on the literature study, the ICOMOS Burra Charter, the China Principles for the Conservation of Heritage Sites, and the Indonesia Law in Cultural Heritage.
In the research it has been found that Taman Sari which is located in Yogyakarta was built for several reasons and functions, such as resting area, recreation area, practicing area, traditional activities and workshops, meditation area and also defense area.
One line of this research is that the use of plants which had been planted in Taman Sari area was related with the tradition, symbolism and the daily needs. As assumption in this research some plants possibly are classified as a Javanese traditional plant.
A series of photographs which have been taken from different time support the analysis of this research report.
At the end of the report there is a recommendation to the Indonesia Government for maintaining the cultural heritage asset value, because this could be a national valuable asset which could be handed to the future generation.
Based on the Guidelines to the Burra Charter define we Cultural Significance as :
.....a concept which helps in estimating the value of places. The places that are likely to be of significance are those which help an understanding of the past or enrich the present, and which will be of value to the future generations.

Aim of this paper was to describe the diversity of small terrestrial mammals on selected habitats of Velka podkrusnohorska spoil heap and surrounded areas. Between years 2013 2015 there was realized seven catching on the twenty seven study sites. In every year we repeated a catches in spring and autumn period. The selected habitats were: wetlands, meadows, pine forests, oak forests and successional forests. As a capture method was chose standard line method with usage of snap traps. The obtained data were statically analysed by the R program and the diversity was compared based on the Shannon-Wiener index of diversity. We compared abundance and diversity between spoil heap study sites and surrounding study sites, which were situated out of the Velka podkrusnohorska spoil heap and was sign as control sites. We chose three study sites of every habitat situated on spoil heap and another three sites of every habitat situated out of the spoil heap (control sites). In total we caught 720 small terrestrial mammals of ted species: Crocidura leucodon, Crocidura suaveolens, Microtus arvalis, Microtus agrestis, Mus domesticus, Apodemus sylvaticus, Apodemus flavicollis, Myodes glareolus, Sorex araneus and Sorex minutus.
The highest diversity was on the four wetlands sites which three of them were situated on the spoil heap. The highest abundance was at the meadow site Matyas which was situated on the spoil heap. In the overall assessment of the abundance and diversity of communities of small terrestrial mammals was confirmed equality of spoil heap sites and control sites. In the assessment of abundance and diversity of individual habitats was confirmed equality of spoil heal sites and control sites. Exception was abundance between forests spoil heap sites and control sites, where the equality of abundance was rejected because of higher abundance of control sites. We decide to compare technically restored sites and sites using managed successions on the spoil heap. The diversity of technically restored pine forests and successional forest was confirmed but the equality of abundance of these sites was rejected because of the higher abundance of successional forests. The equality of diversity and abundance of technically restored oak forests and successional forests was rejected because successional forests had higher both of these values.

Background: Disorders of lung development cause death and disability in the young and old: novel insights into developmental regulators can aid therapeutic strategies. The Ca2+ATPase SERCA, already implicated in asthma and cystic fibrosis, appears to play a key role in lung development. SERCA inhibition with cyclopiazonic acid (CPA) in vitro, reduces both airway branching and peristalsis reversibly and dose dependently, whilst also halting myogenesis. It is unclear however, whether changes in branching are mediated via SERCA dependent contractility, or whether SERCA is a direct regulator of airway branching. Aims: (i) to further explore the CPA-induced embryonic lung phenotype by assaying gene expression and cell proliferation; and (ii) to determine effects of genetic perturbation of SERCA function in vivo on airway branching morphogenesis, in the absence of contractility (using a Drosophila model). Methods: Embryonic mouse (E11.5) lung explants were cultured +/- CPA at an air/fluid interface. Standard techniques were used to rear Drosophila and SERCA expression manipulated using conditional, heat-sensitive mutants and RNAi targeted to the trachea. Positively labelled, loss-of-function ‘flip-out’ RNAi and mutant clones were produced using heat-shock induced FLP-recombinase. Gene expression was assayed using real-time RT-PCR and SERCA function assessed using calcium dyes and genetic indicators. Embryonic and larval fly airways were imaged using fluorescent proteins and immunostaining, with live or fixed-sample confocal microscopy. Immunofluorescent staining was used to assess protein expression and cell proliferation. Results: SERCA inhibition with CPA significantly up or down regulated mRNA levels of key genes involved in lung branching morphogenesis, myogenesis and angiogenesis in vitro. CPA treatment also reduced cell proliferation dose-dependently in the lung epithelium and mesenchyme. In the fly embryo, neither conditional SERCA mutants nor targeted RNAi significantly affected tracheal morphology. However, residual SERCA mRNA and protein function was evident at this stage of development. Tracheal maturation, in the form of gas filling was significantly impaired though, in embryos expressing a conditional SERCA mutation. In larvae, development of the dorsal air sac primordium (ASP) was severely disrupted by targeted SERCA RNAi and this phenotype could be reproduced when sufficient numbers of loss-of–function clones were present. SERCA inhibition reduced the number of mitotic cells in the ASP and correspondingly, SERCA deficient clones comprised fewer cells than control counterparts: SERCA regulation of airway cell proliferation was therefore evident across species. Fewer SERCA deficient cells reached the tip of the ASP during morphogenesis compared to controls, whereas a greater proportion remained in the stalk, findings that indicate a cell-autonomous defect in cell migration. Changes in morphology were independent of changes in expression of the key ASP signalling pathways MAP kinase and Notch. Expression of the ASP tip-cell marker escargot was expanded in SERCA deficient larvae, with a number of positive cells being abnormally present in the stalk. This finding could be explained by a failure of these cells to migrate to the tip, alternatively by changes in cell fate. Given key roles of tip cells in morphogenetic signalling, escargot may play a role in SERCA inhibition-induced dysmorphogenesis. Conclusions: SERCA has an essential, conserved role in airway branching morphogenesis across species: this role appears independent of contractility. SERCA regulates cell migration and proliferation processes in the airway, findings that may have wider relevance, e.g. in proliferative disease, metastasis and tissue regeneration. Given evidence in plants and fungi of Ca2+ cycling regulating budding, findings here may indicate a role for SERCA as a generic regulator of iterative branching across biology, with clear implications for further research.

Este estudo descreve e analisa Sequências Didáticas voltadas para educação étnicoracial e a implementação da lei 10639/03. Em aulas da disciplina Língua Portuguesa, ministradas em escolas públicas, estudantes de ensino médio e ensino fundamental produziram textos sobre algumas representações do negro brasileiro: racismo em situações cotidianas, racismo na TV brasileira e o mito do Saci. Trata-se de uma pesquisa-ação, na qual, as reflexões de adolescentes a partir de situações-problema formam o grande objeto de estudo. O conceito de Sequências Didáticas utilizado foi desenvolvido pelos autores suíços Dolz, Noverraz e Schneuwly. O ensino de língua materna está centrado nos gêneros textuais, conforme estabelecem os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais e explicam autores brasileiros filiados aos conceitos de Mikhail Bakhtin. Cada uma das temáticas raciais será examinada em diálogo com pesquisas que trataram especificamente daquele aspecto. Ao longo da obra, contribuições de autores como Kabengele Munanga, Nilma Lino Gomes e Antônio Sérgio Guimarães estarão presentes para melhor compreensão e interpretação das relações raciais no Brasil.This study describes and analyses Didactic Sequences oriented to the ethnic/racial education and to the implementation of Law n. 10.639/2003. In Portuguese classes taught at public schools, high and elementary students have produced texts on the representation of black Brazilians: everyday racism, racism on Brazilian TV, and the myth of the Saci. This is an action research project in which teenagers reflections on problematic situations are taken as the main study object. The concept of Didactic Sequences adopted here was developed by the Swiss authors Dolz, Noverraz and Schneuwly. Mother-tongue teaching is focused on textual genres, as set up by the National Curriculum Parameters and pointed out by Brazilian writers who have embraced Mikhail Bakhtins theories. Each one of the racial topics will be examined under the light of researches which dealt with that particular issue. All along this paper, mentions of authors such as Kabengele Munanga, Nilma Lino Gomes, and Antônio Sérgio Guimarães promote the comprehension and interpretation of racial relations in Brazil.

Previous issue date: 2011-10-28This paper aims to present an exegetical study of a biblical narrative: the Genesis 12,10-13,1a. It follows the style of commentary. The research advances with the biblical tradition in question. In each chapter two investigations are carried out. 1) a linguistic and literary study which includes translation, morphological analysis, syntactic, stylistic and narrative; and 2) a historical-theological that serves as a research on the historical and cultural context, as well as, the theology in the text. In this sense, this research has hypothesized the question: 'Sarai as wife and sister of Abraham'. Throughout the study it is possible to visualize a growing understanding of the scope of the term 'wife and sister'. Based on the arguments found, adding reflections on historical-archaeological and biblical-theological, it seems plausible to say that Sarai is Abraham´s wife and sister not only in the denotative sense, but also in a metaphorical one. Moreover, this expression becomes a key to the interpretation as 'sister' and 'wife' that are important characters in the theological and symbolic language of the bible
A presente dissertação tem como objetivo apresentar um estudo exegético de uma narrativa bíblica: Gênesis 12,10-13,1a. Seguindo o estilo de comentário, a pesquisa avança junto à tradição bíblica em questão. Em cada capítulo, são realizadas duas investigações: 1) um estudo linguistico-literário, que compreende tradução, análises morfológico-sintática, estilística e narrativa; e 2) um estudo histórico-teológico, que se serve de pesquisas referentes ao ambiente histórico-cultural bem como à teologia presente no texto. Neste sentido, esta pesquisa tem como hipótese a questão: Sarai como esposa e irmã de Abrão . Ao longo do estudo, será possível constatar uma crescente compreensão do conteúdo da expressão esposa e irmã‟. Diante dos argumentos encontrados juntando reflexões histórico-arqueológicas e bíblico-teológicas parece ser plausível dizer que Sarai é esposa e irmã de Abrão, não somente em sentido denotativo, mas também metafórico. Mais ainda: esta expressão se torna chave de uma interpretação intertextual, pois irmã‟ e esposa‟ são figuras de peso teológicosimbólico na linguagem bíblica

In questo lavoro di tesi si è voluta creare una metodologia solida per la generazione di geome-trie banchi di flussaggio stazionario, sia per Tumble che per Swirl, a varie alzate valvole (in questo caso solo aspirazione, ma estendibile anche a quelle di scarico), avvalendosi del soft-ware SALOME; seguite da creazione griglia di calcolo e infine simulazione in ambiente Open-FOAM.
Per prima cosa si è importata la geometria creata in un CAD esterno e importata in SALOME in formato STEP. A seguito si sono posizionate le valvole all’alzata da simulare, insieme alla creazione del falso cilindro, diversificato tra il caso Tumble e Swirl.
Si è importato il file del banco di flussaggio, in formato STL, in snappyHexMesh e generata la griglia; questa è stata utilizzata per la simulazione in ambiente OpenFOAM, utilizzando l’utility rhoPorousSimpleFoam.
Infine, si sono estratti i dati per il calcolo di grandezze utili, coppia di Tumble/Swirl e portata in massa, oltre alla creazione di immagini di visualizzazione campi di moto, utilizzando il post processore ParaView.
In parallelo si è sviluppata l’automatizzazione delle varie fasi servendosi sia di script scritti in python che in bash.

Geradas pela globalização, as constantes transformações nas tecnologias, nos meios de comunicação e na sociedade como um todo tornam instáveis as identidades fixadas em repertórios de bens exclusivos de uma comunidade local ou nacional. Isto porque as inovações tecnológicas, o fortalecimento da industrialização e dos meios de comunicação modificaram nossos hábitos e nos deram um horizonte mais cosmopolita, ao mesmo tempo em que unificaram os padrões de consumo, inclusive em relação à Cultura. Mas a cultura nacional não se extingue, e sim se converte, se modifica, se reconstrói para interagir com as diferentes culturas mundiais, de acordo com o mercado consumidor, já que a Indústria Cultural proposta por Adorno (1974) mercadifica os bens culturais. Neste estudo propusemos a análise da figura do Saci, indagando se as narrativas a seu respeito continuam sendo uma maneira de regular o comportamento social, mesmo no mundo globalizado e pudemos verificar o quanto sua figura acabou se modificando para se adequar aos padrões da sociedade. Visto por muitos como a identidade do brasileiro, a figura do Saci não ficou ritualizada, mas foi e continua sendo reconstruída em torno desse processo de mundialização.Produced by globalization, the constants transformations in the technologies, in the media and in the society at all turns unstable identities fixed in repertories of a local or national communitys exclusive properties. But the National Culture doesnt be extinguished; it converts, modifies, reconstructs in order to interchange with world different cultures, according to consumer market, so that Cultural Industry, proposed by Adorno (1974), trades cultural properties. In that study, we have proposed to analyze the Sacis figure, investigating if the narratives in regarding to Saci continue being a way of regularize the social behaviour, even in a globalizated world and we verified how the Sacis figure have been modified in order to be adapted on society patterns. Seen by many people as Brazilians identity, the Sacis figure doesnt be ritualized, but it was and continues being reconstructed around the mundialization process.

This dissertation is a result from a bibliographic, documentary, descriptive, qualitative
research, in the subject about the using of the technological tools of information at the
communication in the institutions of college education. The central porpuse of the research is
investigate how the Support of Sistem for an Integrated Communication (SACI in
portuguese) is used at the University of São Carlos (UFSCar). This dissertation makes the
assumption that SACI can serve the necessities of the most different kinds of communication
inside a Federal University. Concepts as public communication, organizacional, institutional,
integrated, technology and democratize of knowledge are presented. The study presents an
analysis that makes a concern of many kinds of communicatiom with SACI, showing how
this software handle with the communication features. Furthermore, this work brings a broad
view of how the SACI is instaled and is being used in UFSCar s site. To complement this
study, was made a descriptive qualitative research with Prof. PhD. Rodrigo Francisco and
Master Mariana Pezzo. The methodological procedure used a crossbred treatment, using
questions forms analysed with documents and books. After the data and information survey, it
was established that SACI has uncountable functions that resulted in many positive
amendments to management of the information of UFSCar, and for being an instrument that
can be adapted according to the most different organizational needs, is indispensable to
estimate the implatation of the system in others intitutions, as an example, the Federal
University of Uberlândia (UFU), aim at improvement of the communication management in
these oganizations.A presente dissertação resulta de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, documental e descritiva qualitativa, na temática sobre o uso das ferramentas tecnológicas da informação na comunicação das instituições de ensino superior. O objetivo central da pesquisa é investigar como o Sistema de Apoio à Comunicação Integrada - SACI é utilizado na Universidade Federal de São Carlos - UFSCar. A dissertação aqui descrita parte do pressuposto de que o SACI consegue atender as necessidades dos mais variados tipos de comunicação existentes dentro de uma universidade federal. Conceitos como comunicação pública, organizacional, institucional, integrada, tecnologia e democratização do conhecimento são apresentados. O estudo apresenta uma análise que relaciona vários tipos de comunicação com o SACI, demonstrando como esse software lida com as características comunicacionais. Além disso, o trabalho traz uma visão ampla de como o SACI está instalado e sendo utilizado dentro do site da UFSCar. Para complementar foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa descritiva com Prof. Dr. Rodrigo Francisco e com Mª. Mariana Pezzo. Assim, o procedimento metodológico utilizou um tratamento híbrido, no qual formulários de questões foram aplicados juntamente com a análise de documentos e livros. Após o levantamento dos dados e informações foi constatado que o SACI possui inúmeras funções que resultaram em muitas alterações positivas para o gerenciamento de informação da UFSCar, e por ser uma ferramenta que pode ser adaptada de acordo com as mais diversas necessidades organizacionais é imprescindível avaliar a implantação do sistema em outras instituições, como por exemplo, na Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU, visando a melhoria da gestão da comunicação nessas organizações.

Sarcopenia (muscle loss) and dynapenia (loss of strength) are risk factors for disabilities, falls and loss of autonomy with aging. The essential amino acid leucine is a signaling molecule that stimulates mRNA translation, protein synthesis and insulin secretion, making it a potential anabolic agent. This thesis assessed the effect of leucine added to a meal on whole-body leucine balance, myofibrillar and sarcoplasmic proteins and on total plasma protein fractional synthesis rates (FSR) in 13 older women. The design was a randomized, double-blind crossover versus an isonitrogenous meal. A possible effect of sarco-dynapenia on these variables was tested (n=7 with sarco-dynapenia, n=6 controls). Greater whole-body leucine balance (intake – oxidation, measured by dilution of stable isotope [1-13C]leucine), after the meal+leucine was contributed by enhanced myofibrillar protein synthesis, measured by incorporation of [2H5]-phenylalanine. Sarcoplasmic and total plasma protein FSR were equally stimulated by both meals. There was no effect of sarco-dynapenia on any of these protein kinetic responses. Data suggest that additional leucine stimulates myofibrillar protein synthesis and greater total retention. The anabolic capacity was maintained in women with sarco-dynapenia who could benefit from such an intervention. Future studies will determine whether long-term leucine supplementation translates into improved muscle mass, strength and function.La sarcopénie (perte de muscle) et la dynapénie (perte de force) sont des facteurs de risque d'incapacités, de chutes et de perte d'autonomie liés au vieillissement. L'acide aminé essentiel leucine est une molécule signalétique qui stimule la traduction de l'ARNm, la synthèse protéique et la sécrétion d'insuline, ce qui en fait un agent anabolique potentiel. Cette thèse a évalué les effets de l'ajout de leucine à un repas sur le bilan global de leucine et les taux de synthèse des protéines myofibrillaires, sarcoplasmiques et plasmatiques totales, chez 13 femmes âgées. L'étude avait un devis chassé-croisé, randomisé, à double insu versus un repas sans leucine ajoutée (total d'azote identique). Un effet possible de la sarco-dynapénie sur ces variables a été testé (n=7 femmes sarco-dynapéniques versus n=6 contrôles). Les taux de synthèse de protéines myofibrillaires (mesurés par incorporation de la [2H5]-phenylalanine) ont davantage augmenté suite au repas+leucine, contribuant à augmenter le bilan global de leucine (apport - oxidation, mesurée par la dilution de 1-[13C]leucine). La synthèse des protéines sarcoplasmiques et plasmatiques a été stimulée également par le repas avec ou sans leucine ajoutée. La présence de sarco-dynapénie n'a exercé aucun effet sur ces réponses des cinétiques de protéines. Les résultats suggèrent que l'ajout de leucine à un repas stimule la synthèse protéique myofibrillaire et la rétention globale de leucine. La capacité anabolique des femmes âgées sarco-dynapéniques était préservée; celles-ci pourraient donc bénéficier d'une telle intervention. Il reste à démontrer, dans de futures études, si la supplémentation à long terme de leucine résulte en une augmentation de la masse, la force et la fonction musculaire.

Memoria para optar al título de GeógrafoA partir del análisis geomorfológico se estudia la franja costera occidental de la Cordillera de la Costa entre los 29º22’S y los 29º35’S, parte de norte de la mega ensenada de Coquimbo, Región de Coquimbo, con el objetivo de contribuir al conocimiento de la dinámica evolutiva del paisaje costero que modeló los sistemas de vertientes y glacis junto a las terrazas marinas insertas en el flaco occidental de la cordillera. Se analizaron los antecedentes geológicos del área a partir de los cuela se realizó la cartografía geomorfológicas, elaborada a través de imágenes, procesamiento SIG, análisis sedimentológico y trabajo de terreno. Los resultados obtenidos permiten determinar que el área de estudio presenta una geomorfología variada, asociada a un flanco cordillerano muy escarpado, con formas costeras heredadas y actuales, en que se conjugan la dinámica de las vertientes y del oleaje en un paisaje particular, en que destaca la presencia de terrazas marinas no identificadas hasta la fecha. A partir de trabajos anteriores en planicies litorales del norte de Chile, con dataciones absolutas de los niveles de terrazas, se logró realizar una correlación de alturas y composición sedimentológica, estableciendo la existencia de tres niveles de terrazas identificados como TMA (terraza Marina Alta), TMM (Terraza Marina Media) y TMB (terraza Marina Baja). De acuerdo a la información disponible y a través de la correlación de datos absolutos y relativos se puede establecer que la TMA corresponde al MIS 11 o MIS 9; que TMM al MIS 7; y la TMB al MIS 5.

Le role du calcium est preponderant dans la cellule, de meme que les mecanismes responsables de son homeostasie. Le calcium peut sortir de la cellule grace aux calcium atpases des membranes plasmiques (pmca) et etre stocke dans des pools intracellulaires grace aux calcium atpases des membranes du reticulum (serca). Dans ce travail, nous avons cherche a etablir l'hypothese recente de la regulation des serca. Lors de la proliferation des cellules musculaires lisses en culture induite par le platelet derived growth factor (pdgf), nous avons montre que l'activite des serca est tres fortement augmentee. Cette stimulation correspond a la regulation positive de l'expression de l'une des isoformes presentes dans ces cellules (serca2a), tandis que l'expression de l'autre isoforme (serca2b) n'est pas affectee, suggerant une regulation lors de l'epissage differentiel de ces serca. L'activite des serca est egalement augmentee dans les plaquettes de rats spontanement hypertendus (shr) comparee a celle des plaquettes de rats normotendus (wky). Les plaquettes de rats expriment l'isoforme ubiquitaire serca2b, qui ne subit pas de modifications d'expression chez les rats shr, et une nouvelle serca de 97 kda, dont l'expression est fortement augmentee dans les plaquettes des animaux hypertendus. Enfin, nous avons aborde la regulation des serca plaquettaires par un effecteur intracellulaire, les proteines rap 1. Sachant que la phosphorylation de ces proteines affecte le transport de calcium dans les plaquettes, nous avons cherche a savoir quelle(s) serca etai(ent) regulee(s) par les proteines rap 1. Nous avons montre une expression coordonnee de la serca de 97 kda et de l'une des isoformes de rap 1, rap 1b, dans les plaquettes et dans differentes lignees cellulaires. De plus, ces deux proteines sont parallelement surexprimees dans les plaquettes de rats shr par rapport aux rats normaux. Ces resultats suggerent que la phosphorylation de rap 1b regule la serca de 97 kda

Giovanni Legrenzi was a prolific composer of vocal music and maestro di cappella at the Basilica di San Marco but his vocal works are not often studied as a part of the Venetian lineage with composers such as Willaert, de Rore, Zarlino, Monteverdi, Cavalli, and Vivaldi. Despite his being a prolific composer who had significant influence on the work of other musicians in the traditional canon, references to Legrenzi in standard music publications (Grout, Taruskin, Grove Music Online, etc.) are at best sparse, and largely biographical. This dissertation is one step to correct that pattern by creating a performance edition of Sacri e festivi concenti, Opera nona, one of Legrenzi's significant works near the beginning of his Venetian period. This collection of sacred music was published on 12 June 1667 in Venice though Legrenzi's exact whereabouts at the time remain uncertain. This phase of his career can be defined by his having sought more prestigious and lucrative employment. Having lived and worked in rural Lombardy and Ferrara, he made unsuccessful overtures in places such as Milan, Bologna, Vienna, and Paris. A full score has been produced by transcribing from the part books of the Bologna Museo copy, which will allow consumers to have insight into Legrenzi's music. A performance edition of these Vespers settings is important because it would increase access to, and understanding of, Giovanni Legrenzi's music. This era of Italian music between Monteverdi and Vivaldi is often underperformed by practitioners. One goal of this project is to broaden the work's circulation through a music publisher that would be willing to include portions of the chapters outlined in this proposal. Doing so would offer the work as a good specimen of the period to a wider audience of performers and scholars alike.

Les Sacri Concentus 1,2,3,4 & 5 vocum cum basso ad organum de Léonard Hodemont constituent le premier et le seul recueil de motets publié à Liège dans la première moitié du XVIIe siècle. L’étude des Sacri Concentus en vue de leur édition critique constitue l’objet principal de cette thèse. Ainsi, le choix des textes, leur rapport à la liturgie et l’origine grégorienne des mélodies replacent cette musique dans le contexte historique et culturel liégeois. La comparaison des caractères musicaux utilisés par Streel avec ceux d’autres imprimeurs mettent en évidence un lien existant entre Léonard Streel et Gerhard Grevenbruch établi à Cologne. L’étude systématique de l’utilisation des altérations ainsi que des chiffrages de la basse continue constitue un base solide, indispensable à l’édition critique de ce recueil et permet également d’appréhender la pensée qui sous-tend la composition musicale. Enfin, l’analyse statistique de l’occurrence des fondamentales, des cadences et des vecteurs harmoniques offre, quant à elle, la possibilité de comprendre le fonctionnement du langage harmonique de cette musique et de formuler de manière objective en quoi ces motets s’inscrivent dans cette période de transition entre modalité et tonalitéThe Sacri Concentus 1,2,3,4 & 5 vocum cum basso ad organum of Léonard Hodemont were the first and the only one collection of motets published in Liège during the first half of the 17th century. The study of the Sacri Concentus to prepare the critical edition is the main purpose of this doctorate. The choice of texts, their connection with the liturgy and the Gregorian origin of the melodies place this music within the historical and cultural context of Liège. Comparison between the musical characters used by Streel with those of other printers reveals a connection between Léonard Streel and Gerhard Grevenbruch working in Cologne. The systematic study of the use of accidentals and the figures of the thorough-bass forms a solid base, indispensable to the critical edition of this collection, and also makes it possible to comprehend the thought which underlay the musical writing. Finally, statistical analysis of the occurrence of the roots, cadences and harmonic vectors offers the possibility for understanding the functioning of the harmonic language of this music and to express objectively why these motets belong to the transitional period between modality and tonality

La thèse établit l’histoire comparative des différents Sacri Monti italiens dans un but précis : étudier la transformation d’ « architectures » qui étaient des copies de lieux vides de Terre Sainte en vastes cycles chronologiques animés de nombreuses peintures et statues. Les nécessités religieuses de ces sites définissent un rapport original entre les arts qui donne la première place aux statues : on l’appellera « paragone chrétien ». La statuaire y est exceptionnellement didactique et propre à susciter les émotions. Didactique : les Sacri Monti mettent progressivement en place une statuaire narrative. Propre à susciter les émotions : ces terres cuites polychromes à grandeur sont « vivantes » au point d’incarner les scènes. À la fois familiers et exotiques, variés et récurrents, les très nombreux personnages des chapelles composent souvent des types singulièrement outrés. Leur beauté et surtout leur laideur cruelle et difforme, doit être utile : s’appuyant sur une lecture physiognomonique des scènes, le pèlerinage (guidé) aux Sacri Monti constitue une catharsis chrétienneThis dissertation examines the history of the Italian Sacri Monti from a comparative perspective. The main objective is to understand how “architectures” that were copies of void monuments from the Holy Land were transformed into large chronological cycles animated through the use of numerous paintings and statues. The religious motivations of these sites define a specific relationship between the different art forms, one that emphasizes sculpture and which can be characterized as a “Christian paragone”. Statuary is particularly didactic and emotional. It is didactic in the sense that the Sacri Monti serve to stage a narrative statuary It is also emotional since the life-sized and polychrome terracotta sculptures are so “alive” that they seem to be performing the scenes. The many characters in the chapels are both familiar and exotic, diverse and repetitive. They constitute types that often look strangely outraged. Their beauty but also their cruel and deformed ugliness serve a didactic purpose: grounded on a physiognomic reading of the scenes, the (guided) pilgrimage to the Sacri Monti mediates a Christian catharsis

Asset pricing models have been of interest since their origin in modern finance. The Capital Asset Pricing Model is a widely used tool and is one of the early developed asset pricing models in modern finance. There are continual improvements of this model with the evident multifactor models of Fama and French (2015), Carhart (1997) and the South African two – factor arbitrage pricing models of Van Rensburg (2002) and Laird-Smith et al. (2016). This research empirically investigates the performance of eight-different multi-factor asset pricing models in describing average portfolio returns in the South African Johannesburg Stock Exchange. We find that the Carhart (1997) four factor model comprising of the market factor, size factor, value factor and the momentum factor is the most parsimonious model and thus better explains the average portfolio returns in the South African JSE. This model is an improvement of the Fama and French (1992) three factor model. Additionally, we investigate the performance of the two factor Asset Pricing Theory (APT) model of Laird-Smith et al. (2016) and Van Rensburg (2002) that consists of the South African Financial Index (SAFI) and the South African Resources Index (SARI). We observe that the model performs better than the traditional CAPM that is widely used in industry. Adding the SAFI and the SARI to the six-factor model results in an eight-factor model that has a significant improvement in explaining average returns. The results indicate that the market factor, the South African Financial Index and the South African Resources Index (SARI) poorly explain each other but their linear combination improves the eight-factor asset pricing model in explaining average portfolio returns in the South African market. The eight – factor model comprises of the market, size, value, investment, profitability, momentum factors and the two South African indices namely, the South African Financials Index (SAFI) and the South African Resources Index (SARI).

L'étude vise à décrire et analyser un drapé, le sari, tel qu'il est porté par la femme indienne, afin de dégager des représentations du corps et de la personne. Par " porté ", j'entends aussi bien les façons dont il est choisi, mis et utilisé au quotidien et dans les fêtes. S'agissant de mettre en évidence des interactions, cette étude vise également à définir et analyser le sari de manière comparative: dans une région (le Chhattisgarh) et une nation (l'Inde), dans un environnement rural (le village de Puru) et urbain (la petite ville de Ratanpur), chez les âdivâsî et le système des castes. J'ai choisi de partir de l'hypothèse qu'un objet anodin, comme le sari, se révélerait l'outil par excellence pour étudier les aspirations et les idéaux de la femme indienne contemporaine. La thèse porte sur trois aspects distincts des représentations du corps et de la personne I- le paraître et les modes distinction, II- la construction de la personne et le mariage, III- les conventions sociales et l'individualité. A travers l'analyse du port du sari, il est présenté les relations de la femme et de l'homme (gender), la vie sociale et politique dans une région peu étudiée, ou encore l'évolution d'une l'Inde rurale

Previous issue date: 2009-06-04This work investigates the relationship body/language through the discursive construction of the character One-legged man, in the book One-legged man, by Monteiro Lobato, considering the present ambivalence in its constitution as for the binomial beautiful/good and ugly/bad. For this, it tries to verify as the intra and interdiscursive elements link to that subject with base in the theoretical referential of the Analysis of Speech of French line, interpretative science that deals with issues related to the socio-historical process of production of the senses. The dicotomic relationships were analyzed by the observation of indicative elements in the selected discursive cuttings, sending them to the elements of the discursive memory. The intra and interdiscursive mechanisms involved in this relationship allowed to evidence present contradictory aspects in that character's constitution, producing different sense effects
Este trabalho investiga a relação corpo/linguagem por meio da construção discursiva da personagem Saci, na obra O Saci, de Monteiro Lobato, considerando a ambivalência presente em sua constituição quanto ao binômio belo/bem e feio/mal. Para tanto, procura verificar como os elementos intra e interdiscursivos relacionam-se a essa questão com base no referencial teórico da Análise de Discurso de linha francesa, ciência interpretativa que se ocupa de questões ligadas ao processo sócio-histórico de produção dos sentidos. As relações dicotômicas foram analisadas mediante a observação de elementos designativos nos recortes discursivos selecionados, remetendo-os aos elementos da memória discursiva. Os mecanismos intra e interdiscursivos envolvidos nessa relação permitiram evidenciar aspectos contraditórios presentes na constituição dessa personagem, produzindo diferentes efeitos de sentido
