Анотація:

The real-time, continuity, and accuracy of blast furnace stockline information are of great significance in reducing energy consumption and improving smelting efficiency. However, the traditional mechanical measurement method has the problem of measuring point discontinuity, while the radar measurement method exhibits problems such as weak anti-interference ability, low accuracy, and poor stability. Therefore, a high-dimensional, spatial feature stockline detection method based on the maximum likelihood radial basis function model (MLRBFM) and structural dynamic self-optimization RBF neural network (SDSO-RBFNN) is proposed. Firstly, the discrete time series joint partition method is used to extract the time dimension periodic features of the blast furnace stockline. Based on MLRBFM, the high-dimensional spatial features of the stockline are then obtained. Finally, an SDSO-RBFNN is constructed based on an eigen orthogonal matrix and a right triangular matrix decomposition (QR) direct clustering algorithm with spatial–temporal features as input, so as to obtain continuous, high-precision stockline information. Both the simulation results and industrial validation indicate that the proposed method can provide real-time and accurate stockline information, and has great practical value for industrial production.

The stockline, which describes the measured depth of the blast furnace (BF) burden surface with time, is significant to the operator executing an optimized charging operation. For the harsh BF environment, noise interferences and aberrant measurements are the main challenges of stockline detection. In this paper, a novel encoder–decoder architecture that consists of a convolution neural network (CNN) and a long short-term memory (LSTM) network is proposed, which suppresses the noise interferences, classifies the distorted signals, and regresses the stockline in a learning way. By leveraging the LSTM, we are able to model the longer historical measurements for robust stockline tracking. Compared to traditional hand-crafted denoising processing, the time and efforts could be greatly saved. Experiments are conducted on an actual eight-radar array system in a blast furnace, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated on the real recorded data.

Анотація:

The paper presents a synergistic approach for height tracking within a blast furnace (BF). The Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar has been employed to measure the height and surface profile of the burden surface. However the radar signal is easily disturbed, by the radar anomalies, during the process of continuous measurement. The data from rotating chute and charging switch provide information on contextual relevance with radar anomalies. An anomaly detection models has been developed to increase the measurement accuracy by utilizing contextual information. The approach has been validated on real BF. The root mean squared (RMS) error in the measured height is reduced by 17% when using the proposed approach compared to the case without it. The results suggest that the proposed approach successfully adapts to changes in the pattern and characteristics of the burden surface.

Анотація:

This study aimed to analyze the use of stocklab game to improve students' understanding of the stock market. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a nonequivalent control group design. The object of this study were students of class X IPS in MAN Surabaya. Class X IPS 2 was determined as the experimental class while class X IPS 3 as the control class. Both classes were given the same treatment using cooperative learning methods make a match type and numbered head together, however in the experimental class, games were given in the form of stocklab games. The analysis technique used to test the research hypothesis was one way ANOVA. Hypothesis tested by comparing the pre-test and post-test scores in both classes. Based on the analysis results, it was known that there were differences in students' understanding of the control class and the experimental class, where the understanding of the experimental class students tend to be better than students in control class. In addition, students also tend to understand more stock market terms.

Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa Pasar Modal memiliki peran penting bagi perekonomian suatu negara karena pasar modal menjalankan dua fungsi, pertama sebagai sarana bagi perusahaan untuk mendapatkan dana dari masyarakat pemodal (investor). Dana yang diperoleh dari pasar modal dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan usaha, ekspansi, penambahan modal kerja dan lain-lain, kedua pasar modal menjadi sarana bagi masyarakat untuk berinvestasi pada instrumen keuangan seperti saham, obligasi, reksa dana, dan lain-lain. Dengan demikian, masyarakat dapat menempatkan dana yang dimilikinya sesuai dengan karakteristik keuntungan dan risiko masing-masing instrumen. Tingkat pemahaman (literasi) masyarakat Indonesia terhadap pasar modal dan tingkat utilitas produk pasar modal masih sangat rendah dan yang terkecil dibandingkan dengan lima industri jasa keuangan lainnya (keuangan, asuransi, perbankan, pegadaian, pensiun) di Indonesia. Oleh karena itulah Pengabdian Masyarakat (P3M) STIE Trisakti memberikan edukasi awal kepada siswa-siswi SMA Muhammadiyah 25 Pamulang dengan tujuan turut merubah pola pikir saving society menjadi investing society. Metode yang dilakukan dengan memberikan pengenalan teori dasar Pasar Modal oleh dosen dan praktik stocklab games oleh mahasiswa Galvest TSM menjadikan kelompok siswa XII tertarik meresponi setiap kegiatan. Hasil dari pengenalan pasar modal kepada siswa adalah sejak dini sudah dikenalkan nabung saham, agar kedepan generasi milenial Indonesia menuju investing society.

The operation of the furnace depends largely on the handling of gas distribution which in-turn is reliant on the burden surface profile. Measurement of burden profile has been a challenge because of the harsh conditions inside the furnace. Phased array radar will suffice this purpose with no moving parts; however, it imposes its own challenges. One of them is measurement of extremely short distances as the stockline in the blast furnace is just few meters away from the topmost part. Unlike conventional radar where the target is kilometre away the short distance measurement involves with time measure din nano seconds with pico-seconds resolution to achieve the desired accuracy. This paper implements a method for ultra-short distance measurement using radars for blast furnace application in steel plant.

Detailed geological mapping was carried out in the Bandipur-Gondrang area of Tanahun district to clarify the geological set up and stratigraphy of the area. Wherever possible, geological mapping is based on stratigraphic units proposed by Stocklin and Bhattarai (1977) in central Nepal and the present mapping is the west ward continuation from Mugling-Banspani area (Paudyal and Paudel, 2011). The study area comprises low grade metasedimentary rocks of Nawakot Complex. The rock succession of the area are divided into six formations as the Kunchha Formation, the Fagfog Quartzite, the Dandagaon Phyllite, the Nourpul Formation with four members, the Dhading Dolomite and the Benighat Slates in stratigraphic upwards. The former four formations belong to Upper Nawakot Group and the remaining one belongs to the Lower Nawakot Group of Nawakot Complex (Stöcklin and Bhattarai, 1977). Based on lithology, the Nourpul Formation is divided into the Purebensi Quartzite, the Amdanda Phyllite, the Labdi Khola Member and the Bandipur Slate from bottom to top respectively. The Purebensi Quartzite is lithologically distinct in the field; the Labdi Khola Member is significant with copper and iron mineralization in the area, and the Bandipur Slate is also significant with roofing quality slate, however, the Amdanda Phyllite is mapped as an intervening member between significant lithologies. The rocks of the present study area consist of several sedimentary structures like mud cracks, ripple marks, graded bedding and cross and parallel laminations. A broad Ghumaune- Gondran Synclinorium is mapped in the area. In addition to this, several anticlines and synclines are also mapped in the study area. Jalbhanjyang Thrust has brought the older metasedimentary rocks of the Nawakot Complex over the younger rocks of the same Complex. Some corrections are recommended over the distribution of previously shown lithological units by Stocklin and Bhattarai (1977) around the Ghumaune-Bhut Khola section. Анотація:

The article outlines the production of fibrous materials, discloses energy production targets for mineral wool items production, scrutinizes specific features of cupola process. Besides, the article presents the experimental research of mineral wool cupola process. Thus, the article describes the design of a cupola furnace, principles of its operation, and its main performance indicators. A summary of analytical and theoretical research of non-isothermal gas flow motion in shaft furnaces is presented herein. The results of the experimental studies of the patterns of change in gas-dynamic operation of the cupola furnace are also shown in the article. To assess the development of solid fuel combustion in the furnace, the laws that govern the changes in gas composition at the level of stockline have been studied. The results are shown in the Table. The analysis of the current state of thermal and gas-dynamic operation of the mineral wool cupola furnace yielded recommendations for optimization and performance enhancement of the operating cupola furnace.

Анотація:

The Lesser Himalaya in central Nepal is a fold-and-thrust belt with a complex stratigraphy and structure. In the present study, detailed geological mapping was carried out in the Mugling-Banspani area based on stratigraphic units proposed by Stocklin and Bhattarai (1977) to reveal the geological setting and lithostratigraphy of the area. The study shows that the area is occupied by the low-grade metasedimentary rocks of the Lower Nawakot Group. However, there are several discrepancies in classification of the rocks of the Lower Nawakot Group and their classification does not correspond with the field realities. The Anpu Quartzite thought to be the oldest unit of the Nawakot Complex laterally joins to the Fagfog Quartzite. Similarly, the Banspani Quartzite and Labdi Phyllite laterally join to the Purebensi Qu artzite and Dandagao n Phyllite, respectively. Si milar ly, the Nourpul Formation is clearly divisible into three members with distinct lithological characteristics. Based on the above facts, a revise d stratigraphic classification has been proposed for the rocks of the Lower Nawakot Group in the Mugling Banspani area. The Lower Nawakot Group can be divided into the oldest Kunchha Formation followed up section by the Fagfog Quartzite (~Anpu Quartzite), Dandagaon Phyllite (~Labdi Phyllite), Nourpul Formation and Dhading Dolomite. The Nourpul Formation comprises three members namely the Purebensi Quartzite, the Amdanda Phyllite and the Labdi Khola Carbonate. The Jalbire Syncline, Mugling Anticline, Aklang Syncline and the Anpu Anticline are the major geological structures of the study area.

In the article there are presented results of a research that was carried out to determine a reason for the increase of more than 1,22 g/cm3 coal-tar oil density at the coke production of “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” joint-stock company. There have been studied samples of coal concentrates from nine layers of eight mines in Karaganda coal basin and GZh coal concentrate which are supplied to the coke chemical production of “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” joint-stock company from “Kunetskaya” Enrichment plant (Russia). During the work there has been determined dependence of the gas composition on the temperature affecting gas that was released during coal carbonizing process. It is experimentally established that with an increase in the temperature of the released coke gas above 750 ° C to 1000 ° C, light fractions evaporate from the resin and are removed into the gas discharge path, which is accompanied by a weighting, an increase in the density captured for processing coal tar into pitch. The results of the resin studies that is isolated in the same temperature ranges show the indicators of the resin yield and its density during the tests of concentrates also follow a certain pattern – with an increase in the coal carbonizing temperature and with overheating of the released gas, the resin density increases and its yield decreases. The researches in the plant has found that the technological reason for the weighting of the coke gas resin is a low level of coal charge stockline, which makes possible to linger the coke gas in the underroof space and to overheat with increasing the access of light fractions of the resin with the gas.

The western Nepal Lesser Himalaya, lying between the Marsyangdi and Bheri Rivers, is generally free from crystalline nappes and exposes the sedimentary and metasedimentary rock sequences in a wide zone between the MBT and the MCT. Geologically, the area is complicated by the presence of a number of folds, thrusts and imbricate zones. Despite the complicated geology, excellent studies have been carried out in recent years on the stratigraphy of this region. However, individual work has been confined in areas separated by wide intervening parts that are not as well studied. Many researchers have proposed different stratigraphic nomenclatures in their respective study areas, and their stratigraphic subdivisions do not always correspond well with each other. Therefore, confusion and uncertainties have remained in the stratigraphic interpretation of the western Nepal Lesser Himalaya. An attempt has been made here to appraise and synthesize the work done so far to bring out a clearer picture of the problems and prospects in the stratigraphic investigations in western Nepal. For convenience, the stratigraphy of the Lesser Himalayan metasediments the younger group of fossiliferous sedimentary rocks and the Jajarkot Nappe are treated separately. An attempt has been made to extend the stratigraphic nomenclature of the Nawakot Complex of central Nepal established by Stocklin and Bhattarai (1977) and Stocklin (1980) to western Nepal. In spite of the type sections of these rocks in central Nepal and the rocks of western Nepal being separated by a large intervening area, there is a fair consistency in the stratigraphic sequence and rock assemblages in the two areas. The uniformity in the use of nomenclature of rock units will greatly help to build up a more systematic and reliable stratigraphy of Nepal Lesser Himalaya in the future. The low grade metamorphic and the sedimentary rocks of the Lesser Himalaya are divided into the older Nawakot Unit and the younger Tansen Unit. Only the Tansen Unit is fossiliferous. Whereas the Nawakot Unit is largely of Precambrian age, the Tansen Unit ranges in age from Permo-Carboniferous to Lower Tertiary. The Jajarkot Nappe, tectonically overlying the Lesser Himalayan metasediments, consists of medium grade metamorphic rocks such as garnet bearing schists, feldspathic schists and quartzites. These rocks are succeeded conformably by unmetamorphosed carbonate rocks of possibly Cambro Ordovician age and stratigraphically and tectonically comparable to the Phulchauki Group of the Kathmandu Nappe of central Nepal.
