LabVIEW provides a new development platform for the design of NC software for its multi-task parallel and real-time processing. This paper discussed the design of the NC software of a micro mill based on LabVIEW. Six modules of the NC software, composed of such as algorithms of decoder, cutter compensation, interpolation, were analyzed in detail with structured analysis methods. NC codes simulation was carried out using the software. The results showed that it can complete NC functions such as line interpolation, circular interpolation, and cutter compensation.

3D face modeling has been an important offset of computer graphics. It can be used in many fields. Modeling reality face of a given person is a difficult task because of the complexity of face surface. To improve the modeling results, kriging was used in 3D face modeling adjustment . The general face model is personalized using the space interpolation technology of Kriging. To improve the result of Kriging, the 3D model is smoothed by interpolating once again in a local area near every feature point, and then a better natural result is achieved. The final model is more human and natural.

Abstract This paper deals with smooth motion interpolation. Recently, a direct construction algorithm was developed for designing piecewise parametric motions with second order geometric continuity (G2). The present paper provides a refined version of the G2 spline algorithm and shows how the G2 spline motion can be used to fulfill the task of motion interpolation by solving the problem of inverse design for the G2 spline motion. The results are useful for computer aided motion animation, and Cartesian trajectory generation for CNC machines and robot manipulators.
