Background: Balancing training load helps prevent injury and maximize performance, but coaches do not often know the load or intensity of drills when making selections for practice. Objective: This study aimed to classify the drills of a women’s collegiate lacrosse team into low, moderate, and high intensity categories. Methods: Twenty-five participants wore global positioning system (GPS) devices and heart rate (HR) monitors daily during team practice and scrimmage matches. The data collected was trimmed to reflect only the time the players practiced and then organized by drill. Mean HR, distance rate, and training impulse (TRIMP) scores were used to classify drills into tertiles: low, moderate, and high intensity. Results: A total of 56 unique drills were analyzed over 33 training days, with 24 drills considered moderate intensity, 17 drills were high intensity, and 15 drills were low intensity. By position, 17 drills were low intensity for the midfielders, followed by 16 for the attacker, and 12 for the defenders and goalies. The defenders had the highest number of moderate intensity drills with 27, followed by the attackers with 24, midfielders with 21, and goalies with 17. Lastly, midfielders and goalies had the highest number of high intensity drills with 18, followed by attackers with 17, and defenders with 16. Conclusions: These results will help the coaching and training staff manage workloads and potentially reduce risk of injury and overtraining by giving insight into the demands of each drill they require of their athletes.

Soccer players perform a variety of training drills to develop the physical, technical and tactical qualities required for match-play. The role of coaches in prescribing training suggests that players may not always meet physical targets set by conditioning staff. To quantify the physical outputs elicited by different training drill types, 183 professional soccer players were monitored over 8 seasons using Microelectromechanical Systems during normal training, yielding 65,825 drill observations [362 ± 341 observations·player−1]. Linear mixed models assessed the influence of drill type, head coach and playing position on physical output. Drills lasted ~14 min, eliciting total distances and high speed running of ~1000 m and 40 m, respectively. Conditioning drills elicited substantially greater relative high-speed running [18.8 ± 27.2 m.min−1] and Sprint [3.5 ± 9.4 m.min−1] distances than all other drill types. The proportion of training drill types used and external outputs elicited per drill were affected by the head coach. Midfielders recorded the highest total distance [77.3 ± 36.1 m.min] and PlayerLoad™ [8.29 ± 3.54] of any playing position, whilst the lowest outputs were recorded by goalkeepers. This study provides reference data for practitioners when seeking to manipulate training prescription to achieve physical output targets whilst also meeting the team’s technical and tactical objectives.

The main purpose of this study was to develop a model for predicting the quality of holes drilled in the root part of the spar of helicopter main rotor blades made of glass fiber-reinforced plastic (GFRP)-Ti multilayer polymer composite. As the main quality criterion, delaminations at the entry and exit of the drill from the hole were taken. In the experimental study, a conventional drill and two modified geometry drills, a double-point angle drill and a dagger drill, were used. Preliminary experiments showed the best hole quality when using modified drills, which allowed further detailed study only with both modified drills at different drilling speeds and feed rates. Its results in the form of training sets were used to build artificial neural networks (ANNs) to predict delamination at the entry and exit of the drilled holes. An analysis of the fitted response functions presented as 3D surface plots and contour plots led to the selection of the best tool, a double-point angle drill, which demonstrated the lowest achievable delamination both at the entry and at the exit of the holes approximately 1.5 times less (0.45/0.48 mm) compared to dagger drills (0.68/0.7 mm) and determined the ~5 times larger optimal area for the drilling speed and feed rate. The results obtained confirm the possibility of effective prediction of the quality and productivity of mechanically processed composites of complex reinforcement using ANN to quantify the quality criteria and search for the optimal modes of such technologies.

Purpose: To statistically evaluate the internal and external load metrics in different types of lacrosse drills. Methods: A total of 25 Division I collegiate female lacrosse players wore a heart rate monitor and a global positioning system during preseason training sessions. Seven measures determined training load, 2 internal measures and 5 external measures, across 5 different types of drills: stickwork, small-sided games, individual skills, conditioning, and team drills. Principal component analysis was used to determine which internal and external load variables were most associated with each drill type. Results: Stickwork extracted 2 principal components, explaining 45% and 17% of the variance. Small-sided games extracted 1 principal component, explaining 51% of the variance. Individual skills extracted 2 components, explaining 39% and 22% of the variance. Conditioning extracted 2 components, explaining 44% and 24% of the variance. Team drills extracted 2 components, explaining 52% and 18% of the variance. Conclusions: In 4 out of 5 training modes, the inclusion of both internal and external training-load measures was necessary to accurately decipher training load. For most drills, the first component is related to measures of external load, and the second component described the balance between internal and external load measures. Small-sided games extracted only external measures including the following: accelerations, total distance, and average speed. These results show that a combination of internal and external load measures is required to determine training load during certain training modes. This information can help coaches make decisions about desired training load for practice sessions.

Purpose:Planning tennis sessions accentuating physical development requires an understanding of training load (TL). The aims were to describe the external and internal TL of drills and analyze relationships between ratings of perceived exertion (RPE), TL, and other measures. Methods:Fourteen elite-level junior tennis athletes completed 259 individual drills. Six coaches helped devise classifications for all drills: recovery/defensive, open pattern, accuracy, 2-on-1 open, 2-on-1 net play, closed technical, point play, and match play. Notational analysis on stroke and error rates was performed postsession. Drill RPE and mental exertion were collected postdrill, while heart rate (HR) was recorded continuously.Results:Recovery/defensive, open pattern, and point play were significantly greater than closed technical drills (P < .05) for RPE and mental exertion, as were accuracy drills and match play (P < .05). Recovery/defensive, open-pattern, accuracy, and 2-on-1 open drills had higher stroke rates than match play (P < .05). Error rates of closed technical drills were significantly higher than for open pattern, 2-on-1 drills, point play, and match play (P < .05). No HR differences were observed (P > .05) between categories. Substantial correlations existed for drill RPE and TL with mental exertion (r > .62) for several categories. TL was substantially correlated with total strokes (r > .65), while HR and stroke and error rates were in slight to moderate agreement with RPE and TL (r < .51).Conclusions:Recovery/defensive drills are highest in physiological stress, making them ideal for maximizing physicality. Recovery/defensive drills compromised training quality, eliciting high error rates. In contrast, 2-on-1 net-play drills provided the lowest error rates, potentially appropriate for error-amelioration practice. Open-pattern drills were characterized by significantly higher stroke rates, suggesting congruence with high-repetition practice. Finally, with strong relationships between physical and mental perception, mental exertion may complement currently used monitoring strategies (TL and RPE).

The savage essence and nature of sports means those who work on it hunt for the win. The sport enterprise is undergoing a gigantic digital transformation focused on imaging, real time and data analysis employed in the competitions. Conventional process methods in sports management such as fitness and health establishments, training, growth and match or game realisation are all being revolutionized by the sport digitization. In team sports it is well known that is needful an enough and simple digital methodology to organize and construct a feasible strategy. Digitization in sports is perpetually evolving and requires pervasive challenges. The sports and athletics digitization success is based on what is being done with collection of more data. Competitive advantages go to those who produce powerful operations using the data and acting on it in real time. The potential impact of these sport features in sport team operations is powerful. Data does not ride all decisions, but it empowers knowledgeable decisions. In these world circumstances, our vision with this system was born from a dream helping soccer sport management systems embrace and improve its contest success. Our perspective problem is how a decision support system for soccer coaches helps them to take enhancement decisions better. To face this problem we have created a soccer coach decision support system. This system is organised in two joined components; the first simulates the prediction of the soccer match winner through a data driven neural network. This component output activates the second to operate the logic rules learning and provides the stats, analysis, decision making and additionally plans improvements like drills and training procedures. This helps on the preparation towards upcoming matches as well as being aligned with their style and playing concepts. Future scalability and development, will analyse the mental and moral features of the teams by virtue of their athlete’s behavior changes.

Work in enclosed spaces is a common occurrence on board ships. Unfortunately, accidents associated with confined spaces are also common. In many accidents, even those who intend to help a distressed person in an enclosed space can suffer injuries or in the worst case lose their lives. This results in more people injured or killed than the emergency first had. This study has through a qualitative reaserch method, interviwed six respondents with a semi-structured interview. The respondents consisted of naval officer students from the Swedish Naval Officer Universities in Sweden. The study investigated how the exercises aboard the ships prepare the crew for evacuation from enclosed spaces. The study found that in the respondent’s experience that it is practiced too seldomly and because of that it may arise some uncertainty in those situations. Many respondents felt that they could not save anyone in a fast enough time and that evacuations from confined spaces are a very difficult task. The study’s result indicates a lack of knowledge in the situation of evacuation from enclosed spaces.

This project describes the role of ritual in the basic entrainment processes of Canadian soldiers. Building on the ecological systems theories of Urie Bronfenbrenner and Roy Rappaport, this project construes human adaptation to occur within multiple interdependent planes of ordered biological, sociostructural, psychosocial and symbolic (even transcendent) meanings and interactions within integrated social ecologies or “living systems.” Rappaport’s theory supports the argument that invariant, embodied actions and impulses not encoded by ritual performers establish social order, values, motivations, competencies, dispositions and representational or symbolic meanings—understood within this project as worldview—circulating within and regulating integrated human ecologies. Ordered sequences of invariant actions and impulses have also come to be conveyed within human phylogenic and ontogenetic developmental processes. This project specifically explores the hypothesis that embodied ritual dynamics pervade the basic entrainment rite of Canadian soldiers. The analysis draws on the ritual theory of Rappaport and the psychosocial developmental theory of Erik Erikson to describe the manner in which innate social regulating impulses and liturgically ordered ritual processes are exploited, in conjunction with predictable human psychosocial developmental imperatives, to build foundational martial dispositions, a spontaneous impulse to radical solidarity and a robust, homogeneous and multivocalic worldview in Canadian soldiers. Such a worldview is adaptive to all aspects of service within the Canadian Armed Forces. The rudimentary martial worldview inscribed upon recruit soldiers and officer candidates forms the foundational background to all subsequent martial meaning and adaptation in so far as it is collectively maintained throughout the military career. This argument maintains that a ritual analysis of adaptive meaning and solidarity among soldiers has profound implications for the structure and direction of future research investigating the persistent and well documented rates of distress, maladaptation and health pathology among serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces.

The economic globalization and internationalization of exchanges led to the opening of borders and professional mobility. As a result, new communication needs are emerging. Indeed, institutions, organizations, administrations and enterprises are nowadays recruiting professionals who can communicate in different languages during their workplace activities. To meet this demand, schools and universities have implemented bi-multilingual teaching. This thesis focuses on bi-multilingual French-language University Courses (FUF) and aims to analyze the framework including non-linguistic subject(s) (DNL) in French and French courses, which is intended to ensure the academic and professional success of allophone students. Thus, we conducted a field survey within the Economics courses of a FUF in Egypt so as to study the linguistic and teaching practices. Our research shows that the integration of French for Specific Purposes (FSP) and French for Academic Purposes (FAP) courses in the FUF’s academic program aims at student achievement. Furthermore, the results of our investigation led us to develop different tools which will enable French teachers to create FSP/FAP courses more easily. More specifically, it is the construction of a competency framework, the design of a training program and educational activities

Practice tasks that decompose the skill into smaller components are routinely prescribed by coaches to improve biomechanical qualities for efficient and fast swimming. Such practice tasks are typically referred to as drills and prescribed within part-whole training approaches. The Representative Learning Design (RLD) framework suggests that task decomposition may lack the capability to represent or transfer to the behavioural and movement skills required in competition. Consequently, current practice in swimming may be sub-optimal. This thesis aimed to examine the efficacy of current swimming practice approaches for improving competition performance. To address this concern, this thesis was broken into three studies. Study One (Chapter3) explored the most commonly prescribed training approaches used by elite swimming coaches to improve freestyle stroke technique. The findings indicated that swimming coaches seem to intuitively mention using variants of the constraints-led approach in their practice design. However, in practice, tasks that decompose the skill into smaller components are prioritised. This study provided the foundation to representatively assess the immediate effect task decomposition drills have in supporting freestyle performance. Chapter 4 encapsulated the design and calibration of a swimming 3D kinematic analysis system to allow for drill and freestyle analysis. The eight camera, multi-digital setup allowed for a reliable and accurate quantification of the multi-planar swimming movement. In Study Two and Three (Chapter 5 and 6), the action fidelity of two commonly prescribed upper-limb drills, Long Dog and Polo, were kinematically assessed using group- and individual-based analysis approaches. Six elite freestyle specialists swam a total of 300 m, for each drill, broken into two 25 m laps of drill then two 25 m laps of freestyle swimming. A number of significant kinematic differences and similarities were identified between drill and freestyle swimming. On a group basis, paired t-tests indicated that when swimming the Long Dog drill participants displayed no significant differences in upper-limb characteristics compared to freestyle, yet may not represent the medial- lateral hand pull path of race-pace freestyle. The Polo drill returned similar upper-limb kinematic characteristics to that encouraged for sprint-distance swimmers. Further, the results suggested that the Polo drill could lead to higher stroke rate values and inter-arm coordination that may be beneficial to race-pace freestyle. Individual-based analysis revealed that participants displayed significant individual-specific differences between freestyle and drill swimming. This indicated that certain drills may not be as beneficial for particular swimmers’, based on their distance specialisation and skill level. A combination of both group- and individual-based analysis provided a thorough examination of the effect of drill swimming on freestyle kinematics and performance. The body of work in this thesis provides both detailed insights into elite swimming coaches prescription of training tasks and empirical evidence to confirm or question current task decomposition drills.

The purpose of this study is to explore the influence of Mach drills training on the healthy fitness of elementary students. The participants are 34 track and field team members of B elementary school. After receiving parental approval and the health evaluation, the participants underwent the training of Mach drills for ten weeks which is substituted for the original athletic training. All the participants were taken pretest and posttest health fitness measurements. The processing of data analysis was conducted by SPSS for Window19.0 version statistical software. Nonparametric analysis was adopted to be the statistical method to examine the significant level of the experimental group. After that, qualitative interview was used to understand their psychology cognition. The findings of the physiology analysis show that there is no significant difference in flexibility, but it has prominent effect on the measures of muscular endurance and anaerobic power. Besides, cardiovascular endurance was statistical on male members (p<.05). The findings of the psychology cognition show that 65% of participants like health fitness measurements, 25% believe this training can increase individual physical endurance, 50% have positive attitude to the Mach drills training, and 97% think Mach drills training is helpful for health fitness measurements. The results show that Mach drills training could promote muscular endurance, anaerobic power, cardiovascular endurance for elementary school track and field team members, but not including body flexibility.

The effect of 8 weeks training applying high lifting leg technique Mach Drills on speed and power of junior high school students Abstract In this study, the characteristics of high lifting leg technique of Mach Drills were certified and grasped by the researching method of sports biomechanics. Then, high lifting leg technique was applied in one 8 weeks training focused on junior high school students. Furthermore, the effect of the training of high lifting leg technique on junior high school students’ speed and power performance could be comprehended. In experiment, 7 track and field athletes accepted training for many years were served as subjects (3 males and 4 females) in the analyzing of lower extremity parameters including joint angles and push off data. Afterward, 14 track and field athletes from Jincheng junior high school in Tainan City (including 7 males and 7 females) were recruited to accept the training of high lifting leg technique of Mach Drills for 8 weeks; meanwhile, pre-test and post-test of speed and power were executed and compared. The results showed: 1. Comparing with normal lifting leg technique of Mach Drills, high lifting leg technique let lifting leg to rise to the higher vertical height and to produce bigger pushing force. This result meant high lifting leg technique was beneficial to develop the lower extremity technique of running and fit with the requirement of junior high school athletes’ training. 2. The maximum loading rate of foot IV in high lifting leg technique of Mach Drills was bigger than the rate in normal lifting leg technique. It meant the amount of high lifting leg technique training should be took care to avoid the sports injury. 3. The training of high lifting leg technique of Mach Drills was helpful for the power of lower extremity and the speed of sprint, especially for the speed of sprint. 4. After the undergoing of high lifting leg technique training, the progressive scopes of testing performance between male and female athletes weren’t different significantly. So sex wouldn’t affect the advance ranges of male and female subjects. 5. More sports biomechanics and training studies aimed at high lifting leg technique of Mach Drills could be carried out in the future to understand and apply more relating this technique.

In both research and practice, physical output is typically described using aggregate parameters extracted from wearable technologies. Parameters include volume measures (eg., total distance), work rates (volume expressed relative to time, eg. metreage per minute) and output bands, which bin either accelerations or velocity into a smaller number of thresholds. Similarly, skilled output may be described using coaches’ ratings, player rankings and counts of skilled actions, termed involvements. Involvements refer to skilled actions when players are both in possession and not in possession of the ball. These parameters are typically aggregated across pre-set windows, including stints, quarters, and training drills. However, there are periods of altered physical and skilled output within training drills and stints, which are not captured by aggregate parameters. It is also difficult to determine when output meaningfully changes within sessions using these aggregate parameters. Consequently, it is difficult to use aggregate parameters to inform time-based decisions, including substitutions and stint-to-rest, and training drill length prescription. The aim of this thesis therefore was to develop an alternative method to aggregate parameter profiling, which can identify changes— either increases or decreases-- in physical and skilled output within training drills and matches. Study One quantified the relationship between physical output, skilled output and stint duration in elite Australian football matches. Physical output was quantified using aggregate parameters, extracted from Global Navigation Satellite Local Positioning System devices. Skilled output was quantified using individual player involvements. Random effect models showed negative relationships between duration, high intensity running, and involvements per minute. Metreage per minute had a positive relationship with involvements per minute for most players. Three conditional inference trees were computed. These models described the impact of factors, including round (ie., game number within a season) and rotation number, and how individuals react to outputs, along with a general set of thresholds for the data. All models demonstrated a weak relationship between physical, skilled output and time. This suggests that wearable technology data and notational analysis feeds could be analysed differently to improve their use in team sports. Study Two proposed a combined time-series/frequency domain approach to profiling physical and skilled output in team-sport. A binary segmentation change point algorithm was applied to the velocity time-series, collected via wearable technologies of Australian football players during matches. This method overcame the need for pre-set aggregation windows by identifying different segments of physical output through the mean and variability of velocity. Spectral and involvement features were extracted for each segment to describe physical and skilled output respectively. Spectral features were able to describe aspects of output that are not captured using aggregate parameters. For example, spectral kurtosis may describe whether physical output is continuous or intermittent. Between five and seven change points were able to give more insight into physical and skilled output than aggregate parameters, whilst identifying sufficiently different segments of play. Study Three applied the time-frequency approach of Study Two to match profiling in team- sport. This study demonstrated how a time-frequency approach may identify differences in physical output between matches, that are not apparent from aggregate parameters. Additionally, the time-frequency approach was able to identify changes in physical and skilled output within matches. Alongside the change-point algorithm, k-means clustering allowed for segments of movement to be classified through both their time elapsed within a match, and their physical and skilled output. These methods could therefore be used, to increase the specificity of load monitoring and physical activity prescription in team-sports. Study Four illustrated how a time-series/frequency-domain can be applied to physical output to assess the sequence, specificity and difficulty of team-sport training drills. By condensing velocity data from training drills into a similarity metric relative to match segments, a drill sequence resembling physical output at differing points of a match was generated. This study identified challenge points for each drill, where the mean and variance of velocity within training drills changes. The location and features of challenge points varied substantially by drill. Aggregate work rate parameters may therefore misrepresent the influence of training drill length on physical output. Movement paths were further analysed to explore how players accrue total volume measures such as total distance. These movement paths may reveal differences in physical output between training drills to match outputs, despite similar aggregate parameters. This thesis demonstrated how a time-frequency analysis of physical and skilled output may increase the sophistication of match and training drill profiling in team-sport. The methods presented in this thesis can identify periods of high physical output late in a match and the movement paths completed by athletes, with differences in physical output between matches. This information may assist practitioners to identify difficult matches (ie., matches with high physical outputs), without relying on typical aggregate parameters. These methods may also increase the specificity of training drill prescription to match outputs. The methods presented may also inform training considerations that are not addressed with aggregate parameters, including training drill sequence and duration.

Nowadays, the Information Network is developed rapidly and utilized widely to make our life more convenient and efficient. Due to the popularity of computers, networks and the rapid progress of hacker skills, the issue of information security becomes more and more important. Although generally the companies construct their security systems for network protection, however, that is still indefensible. Information security professionals focus their efforts on what they know best: Firewalls and other Internet security mechanisms like Secure Sockets Layer(SSL). While firewalls and other Internet security mechanisms go a long way in preventing the hackers from intruding into a corporate computer network, they do nothing to stop the most significant source of computer crime: the employees. Many people believe that the espionage is committed by well financed organizations that can only be stopped by national agencies. However, studies show that employees were responsible for more than 70% of information related thefts. Most of the employees are careless with information security that causes the information security vulnerability in an enterprise. The human approach in terms of 'Social Engineering' is probably the most difficult one to be dealt with. Consequently, this study adopts Social Engineering and Information Security to construct an Automatic Education Training System for E-mail Social Engineering Drill. The objective of this study is helping employers to construct the concept of information security of E-mail Social Engineering for employees by importing this system, related practice. Therefore, this paper comprises two issues as listed below: 1. How to automate the E-mail of social engineering include Signals of social engineering. 2. How to automate a complete social engineering drill and training

AbstractGraphical tools for firefighters in emergency interventions have been proven to be very effective. Particularly, paper-based operational guides and digital guides with 360º images were already assessed during the drills developed, during a training program in a real, but obsolete and not in use, hotel. The obtained results were considered very interesting, being part of the study previously published by this research team. In the previous study, three different methods (two of them based on graphical contents) were compared in order to communicate the features of a building to firefighters, five minutes before starting a victim rescue during the drills of the mentioned live fire training program. These good results encouraged us to continue the development of the digital guides and this paper describes the first one created for a real building, placed in Zaragoza (Spain), which is in use nowadays. In this study, two versions of the digital guide are presented, one based on a PDF file and another one implemented with online 360º images.

AbstractRussia and the Central Asian countries have developed strong cooperation in countering non-traditional threats emanating from terrorist groups and transnational criminal organizations based on a shared vision of the threats themselves and instruments to tackle them. The 2021 takeover by the Taliban in Afghanistan brought to the fore a need to protect the borders of Central Asian states from any spill-over effects, as well as illicit activities. The 2022 civil unrest in Kazakhstan embodied the long-standing fears of “colour revolutions” expressed by regional governments. These crises created a security vacuum utilized by Russia in furthering its influence and promoting an enhanced regional security cooperation between Central Asian states and Russia. Joint military drills and trainings serve as tools for Russia to restate its relevance for Central Asian countries via bilateral cooperation channels and mechanisms available within regional international organizations.

The training of military crews of armoured vehicles can be enhanced by applying AI-based methods to the training drills. Defence Research and Development Canada used a Human Behaviour Representation approach to create an armoured crew simulation trainer for the Canadian Armed Forces. The Human Behaviour Representation (HBR) approach is a form of rule-based AI that applies a cognitive task analysis to derive a synthetic operator. The cognitive task analysis resulted in a Task Network Model (TNM) for each crew member of the Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) and for the entire crew. These TNMs were inputted into a discrete event simulator to create a synthetic training environment that combines virtual and human members of the LAV crew. The training platform allows a human member of the team to interact with the synthetic crew through voice production software that was integrated with the synthetic environment. The paper presents the development of the Intelligent Tutoring System module for the LAV crew simulation platform that serves as a human instructor for conducting basic LAV drills. The paper outlines the architecture, functionality, and testing of the module. The work shows how the HBR approach can be used to develop a synthetic coach for training a military crew. The work is a step in developing and testing a general training system for small military teams. The training system will allow to conduct basic crew drills, in which a human crew member will be trained with the synthetic crew members, thus overcoming some of the obstacles that military crew training faces: a logistic difficulty to gather a full crew at the same time and place and a deficiency of qualified instructors. The paper outlines the steps for the follow-up work required to develop a generic AI-based autonomous systems for basic training of small military teams.

Abstract The full scope simulator (FSS) is very important for operator training, but the related SA training can’t be conducted for lack of the severe accident models, so it is urgent to expand the severe accident model on the FSS in nuclear power plant (NPP). The full scope simulator of 3rd-generation passive NPP can perform more abundant and complete accident scenes for operator training and accident drills through coupling MAAP5 models, namely severe accident simulator (SA simulator). In this paper, the severe models (such as core, primary system, containment), the key technologies of coupling MAAP5 software with FSS are described. Then taking the MSLB+SBO as the initial hypothetical condition to simulate the whole process of the severe accident emergency drill scenario in 3rd-generation NPP and make a preliminary sensitivity analysis on the mitigation effect of the mitigation measure for RCS injection flow in the accident drill scenario. The results show that the whole severe accident drill process can be very simulated, the SA simulator can not only provide an effective mean for the simulation of NPP severe accident drill scenarios, but also can be used as an auxiliary tool for the verification of severe accident management guidelines (SAMG) and the optimization of drill scenarios in NPP, which provide some technical support for the safe and stable operation of nuclear power plant.

"All people in the military must be proficient on the basics – to shoot, move, and communicate. Basic Rifle Marksmanship (BRM) is required for both noncommissioned and enlisted Warfighters in all branches of military service, with training on BRM skills being conducted in a series of “dry fire”, simulation, and live drills. In all phases of training, Warfighters receive instruction on the four fundamentals of shooting: breathing, body position, sight picture, and trigger squeeze. Within simulation, this training is conducted in a 1:4 to 1:8 range; one instructor per 4-8 students. While realtime individualized feedback is a goal of instruction, it is not a reality, as instructors must attend to the needs of many students. In an effort to aid instructors in providing valuable individualized feedback, a tutoring system was developed which automatically diagnosed novice performance when compared to experts. This system was used to diagnose novice performance with extensive physical sensors applied to the weapons. This work investigates whether machine learning can aid in the diagnosis of the novice performance, without the physical sensors, and analyzes the degree to which the sensors are necessary."

The aim was to find out, compare and evaluate the eficiency of take-off preparation for selected indicators of motor performance in athletes in the category of younger pupils. The monitored group consisted of 5 girls (average age 12.4 ± 0.22 year) and 4 boys (average age 12.9 ± 0.12 year) regularly participating in the training process three times a week. During 8 weeks in the racing period, take-off preparation was applied in the training pro-cess, consisting of two different batteries of take-off drills. The take-off preparation took place two to three times a week, taking into account the participation of athletes in the race. We performed the following tests to determine the eficiency of the take-off preparation to change the level of motor performance in selected indicators: 50m run, 20m cursory run, standing long jump, vertical jump with countermovement without arm swing and repeated vertical take-off drills without arm swing in 10s. We found that in the output measurement, the athletes of monitored group achieved an improvement in motor performance in tests for explosive power of lower limbs and the maximum running speed tests.
