Results show that prolonged standing type, physique, and sustained time significantly affected the participants’ shank circumference increases (all p<.001). One of the most viable solar energy utility is the solar hot water system. In this study, a three-dimensional CFD program is employed to simulate the field in the storage tank of a large solar hot water system. The storage tank simulation is coupled with a system simulation program, TRNSYS, to simulate the entire solar hot water system. Diploma thesis deals with a suspension system of cords and slings called Redcord. Redcord helps physiotherapists as their auxiliary third hand. Redcord has a wide range of application. The main goal of the thesis is to develop and test training units in Redcord for spinal patients on a wheelchair in the Rehabilitation Institute Kladruby. Behavioral studies in young adults have shown that working memory capacity (WMC), the ability to maintain and manipulate items in memory, may be associated with individual differences in selective attention. Changes in WMC may also reflect reduced controlled attention and/or increased distractibility observed in aging.
