The Juniper forest reserve of Ziarat is one of the biggest Juniperus forests in the world. This study assessed the land-use changes and carbon stock of Ziarat. Different types of carbon pools were quantified in terms of storage in the study area in tons/ha i.e., above ground, soil, shrubs and litter. The Juniper species of this forest is putatively called Juniperus excelsa Beiberstein. To estimate above-ground biomass, different allometric equations were applied. The Afghan pika is a destructive vertebrate pest that debarks the apple trees in Ziarat valley, Balochistan. It attacks trunks and other main limbs, especially of young apple trees in winter. While in summer, it eats or damages peas, potatoes, wheat, and corn. The leadership of school principal plays a vital role in the success of an institution (Vernon-Dotson, 2008) as well as in the betterment of student outcomes (DuFour & Mattos, 2013). However, this success is not possible unless the teachers are committed to their profession (Altun, 2017). The present study examines the insight of teachers concerning the leadership approaches of their school principals, and its association with the teachers’ professional commitment. W pracy zaprezentowano wyniki badań nad zmianami wilgotności ziarna żyta nieogrzanego i ogrzanego promieniami podczerwonymi w trakcie procesu nawilżania. Ziarno żyta wstępnie ogrzewano promieniami podczerwonymi, a potem nawilżano w różnej temperaturze. Po procesie nawilżania mierzono wilgotność ziaren. Na podstawie uzyskanych wyników stwierdzono, że ziarno wstępnie ogrzane promieniami podczerwonymi charakteryzowało się większą wilgotnością aniżeli ziarno niedogrzane. Do opisu zmian wilgotności ziarna żyta w trakcie nawilżania z powodzeniem może być wykorzystywanymodel Pelega.

The current study has employed Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline (MARS) and M5 Tree (M5T) models to predict the relative humidity in the Hunza River basin, Pakistan. The internal gas flow within a pipework system can generate large noise levels which may be sufficient to cause vibration and fatigue damage. The sources of such noise can be modelled by means of acoustic oscillations of inflow and outflow from a point location. Single and multiple point locations (monopoles and dipoles) within pipework are analysed to determine the different wave structures they generate. Flow over ducted cavities can lead to strong resonances of the trapped acoustic modes due to the presence of the cavity within the duct. Aly & Ziada [1–3] investigated the excitation mechanism of acoustic trapped modes in axisymmetric cavities.
