<strong>The objective:</strong>&nbsp;to conduct an analysis of contemporary research data devoted to the study of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (CP/CPPS), evaluate its manifestations according to the UPOINT classification and the NIH-CPSI scale, and present our own experience in applying the NIH-CPSI scale and UPOINT classification in clinical practice. <strong>Materials and methods.</strong>&nbsp;A literature search was conducted in scientific databases using keywords such as &laquo;chronic prostatitis&raquo;, &laquo;chronic pelvic pain syndrome&raquo;, &laquo;pathophysiology&raquo;, &laquo;diagnosis&raquo;, and &laquo;treatment&raquo;. A total of 25 patients with CP/CPPS were examined to demonstrate the clinical utility of the NIH-CPSI scale and UPOINT classification. <strong>Results.</strong>&nbsp;The literature review represented main theories of pathogenesis and approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of CP/CPPS. Additionally, clinical data demonstrated that the average NIH-CPSI score among patients with CP/CPPS was 26.8&plusmn;6.8 points. According to the UPOINT classification, the urinary domain was present in 88.0% of patients, psychosocial domain in 68.0%, organ-specific domain in 48.0%, infectious domain in 32.0%, neurological domain in 24.0%, and muscle tension domain in 12.0% of patients. <strong>Conclusions.</strong> Phenotyping based on the UPOINT classification along with the NIH-CPSI scale can be utilized in patients to assess and guide multimodal treatment for CP/CPPS.

The article examines the mechanisms of analysis of aggregate financial flows of economic entities. Analysis of the formation and movement of financial flows showed that, despite the widespread use of financial indicators in the analysis, today there is no integrated assessment of the state of financial flows of a group of economic entities that form the commodity-production subsystem (СPS). The authors propose to analyze the formation of financial flows using the structuring of financial flows and reflect their state within the СPS. This approach, as well as a number of financial indicators, takes into account data that assess flows by type of activity in their ratio. At the stage of formation of the financial system of СPS, the relationship between the change in the results of the functioning of СPS-forming business entity and the efficiency of financial flows is established through a block of indicators. First, absolute, then relative, and then get integrated indicators. The calculation of relative indicators is based on the comparison of the obtained values with the normative ones, which are determined by a vector that reflects the directions (positive or negative) of changes in financial flows, based on a specific stage of development. The assessment of the formation of financial flows of СPS-forming economic entities is able to show the main sources of funding and identify the centres of consumption of finance within the СPS. An autocorrelation model and an adaptive Brown model were used for prediction. In the first step, the characteristic regression method determines the best regression function - the most appropriate for the available values of financial flows for certain periods of time. The second step calculates the regression parameters using the least squares method. It is concluded that the constructed model is consistent with the experimental data. The presented developments reflect the developed and proposed algorithm for analyzing the formation of financial flows of СPS-forming economic entities, which differs from existing approaches using not only financial indicators but also a block of indicators that characterize the ratio of financial flows. This allows to increase the objectivity of the assessment of financial flows in the process of economic system development

Among the diseases of dogs, pyoderma is a frequent reason for referral to veterinary clinics. To effectively treat pyoderma and develop new strategies for preventing this disease, it is necessary to study the causes of formation and the conditions for the manifestation of pathogenic properties in causative agents. The purpose of the study will be to identify the microbiota isolated from the healthy skin of dogs and those with pyoderma. Washes were collected from the skin of various areas in clinically healthy dogs and dogs with pyoderma. The material was sown on selective media for the isolation of specific genera of microorganisms; after cultivation, pure cultures were identified according to the methods generally accepted in microbiological practice (cultural, tinctorial, morphological, and biochemical tests), according to Bergi's determinant. In addition, the following test systems were used: “STAPHY-test 16”, “En-coccus-test 36”, and “NEFERM test-24”. It was established that coagulase-negative and coagulase-positive species of staphylococci belong to the representatives of the autochthonous microbiota of the skin of clinically healthy dogs, which are isolated from different areas in 100 and 60–68.5 % of cases, respectively—the coagulase-positive species S. pseudintermedius and the coagulase-variable species S. schleiferi subsp. Coagulants occupy up to 65 % of the central niche, and СNS accounts for up to 30 % of all identified staphylococci. The causative agent of pyoderma in monoculture was S. pseudintermedius in 85.8 % of cases. In 57.1 % of cases, association with pyoderma was represented by СPS and Escherichia coli, and microbial association with СPS and Pseudomonas aeruginosa was detected 4.0 times less often – 14.3 % of cases. In 28.6 % of cases, microbial associations included СPS, Proteus in combination with intestinal or Pseudomonas aeruginosa. On the share of coagulase-positive staphylococci S. pseudintermedius, S. aureus, and coagulase-variable subspecies S. schleiferi subsp. Coagulants account for the central part of the staphylococcal microbiota (93.1 %), identified from inflammatory skin foci in pyoderma. At the same time, the species S. pseudintermedius significantly prevailed over other species; in particular, its share accounted for 78.4 % of the staphylococci isolated, which is 16.0 times more than S. aureus and 8.0 times more than S schleiferi subsp. coagulants So, in the etiology and pathogenesis of pyoderma in dogs, a significant role is played by СPS, in particular, the species S. pseudintermedius.

Patients with bacterial vaginosis are often diagnosed as having chronic generalized inflammatory and inflammatory-dystrophic periodontal diseases including chronic catarrhal gingivitis, mild and moderate periodontitis. The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of the treatment of inflammatory and inflammatory-dystrophic periodontal diseases in women with bacterial vaginosis and their sexual partners. The study included 28 heterosexual couples aged 18-45. Clinical dental check-up was performed during the treatment and in 3 months after the treatment completion. Green-Vermilion indices, РMA (in Parma modification), complex periodontal index (CPI) according to Leus, Svrakov's iodine number were determined. Both groups of patients were examined for the presence of Gardnerella vaginalis and Atopobium vaginae in the oral cavity by PCR testing. The therapeutic course was the same for all groups of patients. General therapy included "Fluconazole" in a dose of 50 mg once a day for 7 days, "Clindamycin" in a dose of 150 mg every 6 hours for 5 days, probiotic "Symbiter acidophilus concentrated" was prescribed to be taken starting from the 3rd day of antibiotic therapy for 21 days, and Calcium-D3-Nycomed (1 tab. during dinner for 30 days). Local treatment included oral baths of the drug "Stomatophyte" after morning and evening hygienic procedures for 7 days, "Metrogil-dent" ointment for gum application for 7 days, the chewing drug "Lizak" (1 tab. every 6 hours for 5 days), "Symbiter omega" in silicone caps for gum application overnight following the for 21 days.&#x0D; Chronic generalized catarrhal gingivitis was detected in 10.71% of women, mild chronic generalized periodontitis – in 64.29% and moderate chronic generalized periodontitis – in 25% of the women. In men who were carriers of pathogens of bacterial vaginosis, chronic generalized catarrhal gingivitis was found in 7.14% of individuals, mild chronic generalized periodontitis – in 60.71% and moderate chronic generalized periodontitis – in 32 male subjects. General and local dental treatment of women with bacterial vaginosis and their sexual partners showed a positive evidence-based dynamics of dental status. 3 months after clinical and laboratory observations, no complaints were presented and the oral hygiene status improved significantly. Before the treatment, the Green-Vermilion index mean values in women with bacterial vaginosis were 1.323 ± 0.035; by the end of 3 month therapy they equalled to 1.032 ± 0.021. A similar dynamics was seen in the men: from the initial index values of 1.336 ± 0.041, the Green-Vermilion index lowered to 1.048 ± 0.036. By the end of 3 month therapy, the PMA decreased by 49.03% in women and by 51.95% in men; no significant difference between the indicators of groups I and II was registered, while the difference between the results in the middle of groups I and II is significant.&#x0D; The analysis of the СPI index values demonstrated the women had a significant difference between baseline and post-treatment outcomes of 1.98 scores, while the men had 2.01 scores. No significant difference was found between the findings of groups I and II both before and after the therapy. A similar positive dynamics was confirmed by the Svrakov's iodine number indicator and according to this indicator obtained before and after the therapy, difference between groups was not detected. The significant difference between the indicators in the group of women and men was 2,789 and 2,831, respectively. The detection Gardnerella vaginalis and Atopobium vaginae in the oral cavity before and after the therapy did not demonstrate a significant difference between the group of men and women, but there was a clear difference between the parameters obtained at the initial examination and 3 months after the therapy. Gardnerella vaginalis was detected by 67.87% and 61.59% less, Atopobium vaginae – by 65.79% and 58.65% less in the women and men, respectively. This patented treatment regimen for patients with bacterial vaginosis contributes to the regression of inflammatory manifestations, improves oral hygiene, and is effective for the treatment of women with this comorbidity and for the therapy of their sexual partners. The dynamics of reducing the percentage of detection of bacterial vaginosis pathogens reflects the dynamics of the clinical picture of periodontal disease in both women with bacterial vaginosis and men who are their sexual partners that confirms the effectiveness of the therapy for both gender groups.

Summary. Today it is known that among maxillodental abnormalities crowded teeth have a leading position and often accompanied by periodontal diseases, lesions of the hard dental tissues, functional disorders of maxillodental system and psycho-emotional disorders of patients is a relevant problem in dentistry. The researchers ascertained the fact of increasing the activity of the course of periodontal disease in patients with maxillodental abnormalities.The aim of the study – to estimate the intensification of inflammatory processes in periodontal tissues of young individuals with crowding of the teeth using periodontal indices.Materials and Methods. The article presents the comparative estimation of the intensity of inflammatory processes in periodontal tissues from 104 people in the age of 18−35 years with chronic catarrhal gingivitis (CCG) on the background of crowding of teeth (main group) and 33 people with CCG without orthodontic pathology (comparison group). For the estimation of the state of periodontal tissues the indexes PMA, bleeding gums and СPI were used. The obtained data were worked out statistically. Results Discussion. It is set on the results of studies that in dependence on the degree of severity of CCG and with increase of the age of examined increases the intensity of inflammatory processes in tissues of teeth-restraint apparatus in both study groups, but in patients with CCG on the background of crowding of teeth this tendency was more pronounced. The average value of the PMA index by its criteria of index revealed to gingivitis of the average severity in the main and comparison groups of the study. With the increase of age of patients in both study groups the increase of the index of bleeding was set. In patients with crowding teeth the values of CPI index exceeded the values of the index in individuals without orthodontic pathology.Conclusions. In patients with crowded teeth on the background of chronic catarrhal gingivitis the intensification of inflammatory processes in periodontal tissues increased with age and depended on the severity of chronic catarrhal gingivitis and was higher than in patients without orthodontic pathology.
