Full textThe purpose of this study is to examine the mechanism of inequality, focusing on the process of family by annalysing micro panel data and crosssectional data since 2006. Family, companies and government used to ensure the livelihoods of all citizens. In addition to the change of demographic structure, the rise in unmarried and divorce rate as well as the common-law marriage changed the family system which traditionally ensured our livelihoods.

Full textThis dissertation examines how the U.S. Marine Corps institutionalized warfighting concept, maneuver warfare in the 1970s and the 1980s. It emphasizes that the Alfred Gray and his reformers attempted to institutionalize the concept through building new requirement system and reforming its education in the 1980s. The MC's requirement system was fundamentally changed from the physical element-based system into the future-oriented and warfighting concept-based system. Also, the education was shifted from knowledge focusing to military judgment focusing. It argues that, on the other hand, the influence of new strategic circumstance and new exercises, combined arms exercises, on the introduction of maneuver warfare was limited.

The unemployment rate has been kept under 3% in Taiwan Area, R. O. C. in the past several decades, and people did not realize the importance on the problem of unemployment. However, because the influences of economy globalization, industry structure transitions, boom circulations and so on, the unemployment rate has been on the rise. Therefore, the government must put emphasis on the importance of the livelihood protection and re-employment of the unemployed. On the basis of the solutions to the unemployment, this thesis aims at the exploration of the protection system for the unemployed in Taiwan Area, R. O. C. The Unemployment Benefits Regulations put into practice since 1999 January 1st and was abolished on 2003 February 12th because of the implementation of the Employment Insurance Act. Going through decades of development and 4 years enforcement, the Unemployment Benefits Regulations did not work efficiently to the re-employment of the unemployed due to the failure to collaborate with other employment promotion measures. The Employment Insurance Act enforced on 2003 January 1st. In addition to the independent law system, it features at the added benefits items, and merges employment measures such as vocational training and employment services. Facing the increasingly unemployment problems, the government also initiates many employment projects. With the collaboration to the ‘Active Labor Market Policy’, the Employment Insurance Act is trying to solve the unemployment problems in a whole. The research intends to understand the dynamic process between the Unemployment Benefits Regulations and the Employment Insurance Act by analyzing the technical literatures and statistics datas. Besides, this thesis will provide some practical suggestions to the protection system for the unemployed in Taiwan.

The social security system of Mainland China emphasized the state-run economic status under planned economic system. It took the equalitarianism route in assigning the field. The social security system was being expanded constantly. It agreed more on the national guarantee way. The country took on too many social security projects. The financial burden was aggravated day by day. The result on quality of social security was not raised apparently. After reform and opening-up, Mainland China is economically improved by a wide margin. This reform can be found out that government decreases interference and responsibility gradually. Enterprise and individual liability is strengthening. Under making the result of “granting power and allowing keep a bigger share of profits” of policy and country that “ Some people become rich”. Mainland China has to change its original social security system. Globalization accelerates the paces of the market economy in Mainland China by passed key elements, such as capital, goods, technology, and information in recent years. Although the economic efficiency improved, it is expanded such as the gap between rich and poor. This essay adjusts and causes the social concern of the underprivileged groups to analyze further on the social security system. Finally, This essay is in order to probe the feasible policy orientation on protecting the underprivileged groups.
