Nowadays, the retail business is very competitive. The alternative time of information technology generation and management skill is very quickly. It brings a great impact to consumers’ cooperation. While retailer use relationship marketing to strength customer loyalty and expand the market share, the importance of relationship marketing to consumers’ cooperation has been arising. The objective of this research is to coordinate current documents, discuss marketing evolution, and understand relationship marketing basic concept and model. Through comprehending the consumers’ cooperation value, function, circumstance and problem develop a suitable relationship marketing model for consumers’ cooperation. At the same time, analyzing information technology has been a very important auxiliary skill to develop suitable application model for consumers’ cooperation. Also applying case study based to generate figures is to prove the relationship marketing application possibility in consumers’ cooperation. The major research method is case study. First of all, we need to identify the object and create a survey questioner. The survey is divided by four parts included theory and related data from industry analyze. Using the basic information and colleting data to interpret and develop hypothesis. Then, examining the variance of χ2 is to see the impact of relationship marketing application in cooperative member loyalty. The hypothesis has been approved by above analysis and generates a conclusion and recommendation. Consumers’ cooperation is now learning the relationship marketing. It is away behind the retailer. In the future, when we join the WTO, the participance of international competitors will give more impact. Therefore, consumers’ cooperation should apply the relationship marketing strategy to increase his member loyalty. Otherwise, the retailer will attract the cooperative members. Then, it would be difficult for consumers’ cooperation to develop and establish new relationship with his members.

In the twenty-first century, an age of knowledge-based economy, domestic industries of Taiwan have faced various impacts since Taiwan’s participation in WTO. In order to survive and develop, an enterprise must enhance its nuclear competitive ability--- continual R&D of new products and new service. Colleges and universities with research manpower of high quality are changing from theory-oriented to practiced-oriented and application-oriented, and they actively grasp opportunities to cooperate with enterprises to raise money because the government is on a tight budget and it cuts its funds for education and public R&D. Cooperation between industry and colleges is an win-win strategy for enterprises and schools under all kinds of circumstances. To welcome a new era of a knowledge-based economy and a brainpower industry, the Yilan County Government sets up an operative norm, build up a university town and a technological county, in the development of industries. It also enthusiastically contributes itself into building a convenient network of transportation, such as the Taipei-Yilan Highway and main lines of communication, and into supplying sufficient water and electricity, a broadband network, and a high quality manpower in hopes of attracting SMEs of biotechnology and of customer service of telecommunication, and soft industries of sightseeing, training, and electronics to enter Yilan. Yilan County Government also leads to establish Yilan Entrepreneur Center to help enterprises entered do most efficient R&D at the lowest cost and shortest time. Yilan County Government actively plans related measures to promote the development of industrial and academic circles. As a person of Yilan, I would like to know the results of the government’s work and that if the current entrepreneurs encounter problems on the cooperation between industry and colleges which may affect their willingness to participate in the cooperation. Through literature review, this study came up with non-structural and structural questions. 8 of the questions can be grouped non-structural part. This study also adopted Likert’s six-point scale to rank the questionnaires. Besides the variations of the background of interviewees, the questionnaire can be divided into 3 parts. They are questions of the motivation of cooperation between industry and colleges, of obstacles, and of current plans of the government. The interviewees are entrepreneurs and college students in Yilan. Through the interviews and the questionnaires, this study proposed suggestions for strategy development for SMEs in Yilan to deal with challenges through cooperation and exchange between industry and colleges when facing globalization.

The purpose of this study is to explore the problems of putting into practice and the solution ways of the teaching strategies in doing mathematical writings blending with cooperative learning, the effects on students’ mathematics learning attitudes and to understand students’ learning experience and opinions. The research method is action research. The teaching strategies proceeded for three months, a total of a two-cycle action research. The subjects were 34 second graders in junior high school which the researcher work in. Research tools are Li Mo Ying’s(1983) questionaires adopted from Fennema –Sherman mathematics learning attitudes scale(1977), and three kinds of the mathematical writing learning sheets, mathematics learning attitude questionnaires, students’ interview records and students’ writing data. The results showed: 1.The problems confronted by the researcher in doing mathematical writing activities were some students’ inadaptability to the teaching methods with mathematical writing activities, some students couldn’t make good use of the discussing chances for learning, the difficulty in time management, and the students were not good at describing the processes of thinking and raised solutions further. 2.The implementation of mathematical writings blending with cooperative learning for students’ mathematics learning attitudes didn’t reach significant level. 3.Different kinds of mathematical writing activities had different influence on students’ learning and the students considered that the teaching strategies were helpful for mathematics learning. At last, according to the results of the study, the researcher made some suggestions as reference resources of the effects of mathematical writing activities on mathematics education in junior high school and the further research.

We construct a portfolio adjusting model in which exchange rate risk is specially considered. The no-trade region is derived via minimizing the cost of trading and the cost of tracking errors owing to no trade. General speaking, when portfolio weight falling in the no-trade region, then international investors do not have to adjust their portfolio weights, infrequent trading will incur significant tracking error relative to the desired returns.; once if the portfolio weights fall out of the no-trade region, international investors need to adjust their portfolio into no-trade boundary, frequent trading will incur transactions costs Our results show that, in a two risky asset economy, there exist at least two no-trade regions under certain initial parameters. The arc of no-trade region decreased as the transaction costs, foreign exchange rate risk decreased, and the arc of no-trade region is positive correlated with the change of the mean return of foreign trading, the correlation efficient between foreign exchange rate, and the correlation efficient between risky assets decreased. As a result, no-trade region is most sensitive to the change of transaction costs.

This is a practical research discussing industrial–academic cooperation involving vocational high school in Taiwan. It is a survey concentrated on the students in at vocational high school. The main purpose of this research is to explore the strategies of industrial–academic cooperation by different view of investigation from four examined groups. Our current internship training in vocational education is mainly operated by the Rotary Cooperative Education Program (This program has been conducting more than thirty seven years since 1969). There are reasons to keep the system; however are room for evaluation and improvement on the implementation process. This research was surveyed by a questionnaire developed for the vocational students who participate in rotary cooperative education program of Cosmetology, and all this samples which also research on parents, educators, school administrations, and cooperative workplace are sum up to 818 pieces. In the process of this research, the findings are as follows: (1) An extremely high portion of students choose this program on their own. (2) The families examined in this research are from relatively low rank of social and economic status. (3) All examined groups have positive attitudes on rotary cooperative education program. (4) High dropout tendency should be handled and resolved immediately. This research would give academic suggestions according to those results, and it is expected that this research would become useful reference for improving industrial–academic cooperation situation in Taiwan educational field.

The goal of the research is to employ cooperative learning strategy in biology laboratory lessons of first grade of junior high school to propose effective laboratory instructional strategies. The research adopted quasi-experimental method. The subjects were 246 students of seven classes from two schools. Two classes from one school were experimental group, and two were control group. In the other school, two classes were experimental group, and one class was control group. The four classes of experimental group adopted cooperative laboratory instruction in four laboratory lessons from Unit 1-1 to 2-2 in biology laboratory lessons of first grade in junior high school, that is, establishing laboratory lesson with positive goal interdependence using heterogeneous grouping and role-play, competitive evaluation and reward structure, discussion and offering of worksheet, regulation of activity times and group presentation on the rostrum. The three classes in the control group adopted traditional laboratory instruction. Pretest was conducted before the beginning of the semester, and posttest was conducted before the first periodical examination. The research took about one month. The tools of research and method of data collection included assessment tools like “Cooperative Behavior Rating Scale”, “Microscope Manipulation Checklist”, “Biological Experimental Achievement Test”, “Rating Standards of Portfolio”, evaluating sheet, questionnaire of feeling, and interviews. The data collected were statistically analyzed, and it was found that the students of experimental group had performed higher level of cooperative learning behavior, had integral ability of fluently adjusting the image of microscope, achieved better scores in achievement tests than control groups. The groups could coordinate to accomplish the production of portfolio, with more complete content structure, in better labor division. Besides, the students of experimental group performed more positive learning attitudes, self-identity, appreciation of others and consciousness of cooperation in filling and answering the questionnaires. To sum up, the cooperative learning strategies like the emphasis on structure of group members and labor division, efforts to concretely clarify the goals and arrangement of collective assignments to the groups, can effectively reduce students’ behaviors that are irreverent to assignments in laboratory. With cooperation and mutual help of the members, and interaction with instruments, peers, and teachers, the function of laboratory lessons can be brought into full play, and students can achieve understanding of content knowledge, development of scientific skills, and active learning attitudes.

The purposes of the study was not only to improve these 7th graders’ volleyball teaching by applying cooperative learning in the class, but also cultivate their core competencies from the experienced curriculum, as well as enhance the researcher's curriculum design and professional growth. This study was conducted on 25 7th graders in Meimei Junior High School. Founded on SWOTA analysis and the conversations between the teacher and students, the research planned program of volleyball teaching, and carried it out, collected qualitative data and tested students volleyball skills testing, to evaluate the action plans. Here are the research questions of the study: I. How to investigate and reflect the problems that PE teachers may face when teaching 7th graders. II. How to plan cooperative learning curriculum for 7th graders’ volleyball learning. III. The applications of cooperative learning on 7th graders’ volleyball learning. IV. The evaluations of cooperative learning on 7th graders’ volleyball learning. The conclusions of this study were as follows: I. Students’ predicament in physical education class can be effectively discovered through SWOTA analysis and reflection. II. It was proved that designing volleyball teaching by the action plan can enhance teachers’ professional accomplishment. III. This study mainly focuswd on how the teachers of vocational competence departments cope with stress from their teaching routine and what strategies should be taken to lessen their stress. In the course of seeking for the outcome and solution, much has been done in deciding , collecting data , making document review, examination, questionnaire survey, statistical analysis, and making conclusions and suggestions. These questionnaires designed for the teachers of vocational occupational competence departments in Taiwan, have been issued to 62 schools. A total of 466 copies have been finished successfully. The reference data finally obtained have been analyzed through the software of SPSS 120 version. The conclusions are as follows: 1. The stress the teachers are troubled with is still in middle level. The main source of stress from their working routines is the burden at work. 2. When it comes to coping their working stress, higher-level strategies, the strategies -”to think with reason ”and “ to solve with action ”- are used more frequently.The strength of their working stress varies greatly with whether they are male or female, how long they have taught, what their education is, and where their school locations are. 4. The variation of how long they have taught varies remarkably in dealing with their stress. 5. It is found out that the stress on the teachers is negatively in proporition to the strategies they take.

Abstract This study is to discuss the effective strategies to returning dropouts at a cooperated school in Yi-lan County. Four major research purposes are stated as follows. 1. To understand the current treat models for returning dropouts and the efficiency of effective strategies at cooperated schools. 2. To understand the influence of effective strategies on each individual returning dropout at cooperated schools. 3. To discuss the individual needs and the desire for assistance of returning dropouts 4. To analyze the research results and give the practical suggestions of the ways to consult with returning dropouts in addition to the recommendations of prompting cooperated schools. The approach of this research is based on case studies with in-depth interview. The interviewees include the returning dropouts and their parents, social workers and teachers at the cooperated school. Moreover, relative documents at the cooperated school had been collected and reviewed in the way of documentary analysis. The conclusions have been reached as below. 1. The institution of cooperated schools is well-established. However, the learning achievements of students at cooperated schools are quite variable. In such a way, the problems of teacher supply and the employment guidance has been presented. 2. The cooperated schools have provided great efficiency of life guidance, learning guidance, career guidance and parent-child guidance for returning dropouts. 3. The aspects of dropouts are complicated, mostly attributing to personal reasons, the family, the society as well as the peers. And the major reason that makes the dropouts come back to school is to get a diploma of junior high school. 4. It takes time for returning dropouts to adjust themselves to learning. However, they are quite comfortable in behavior adjustment, family adjustment, social interaction adjustment and self-acceptance adjustment. 5. In the error-prone transmission environment, the quality of a video sequence may be damaged because of noise or packet loss. Moreover, since more and more real time video stream applications are needed, high compression rates of video streams have been reached by some video coding standards such as H.264 or MPEG4. It will make the video stream more vulnerable against stream error, and the error will also propagate to the successive frames. In order not to increase the complexity of the encoder, error concealment techniques were proposed, and it is a post-processing concept on the decoder. It utilizes the temporal or spatial information to recover the damaged data, and more and more temporal, spatial or even hybrid error concealment methods were proposed over the years. We propose two temporal error concealment methods, which use bilateral filter as a tool to reconstruct the lost macro-block. Bilateral filter is mainly used to deal with de-noising problem. Therefore, we apply the de-noising algorithm to tackle our error concealment problem. Afterward, we propose a cooperative game theoretic error concealment structure to adaptively select the proper algorithms to reconstruct the error macro-block. By applying the cooperative game theory, we can effectively take advantages of both temporal and spatial information to do error concealment. Therefore, the result using our method can achieve better visual quality compared with using single error concealment method. Finally, because the blocking effect may occur after replacing the missing macro-block with the concealed macro-block; therefore, we also introduce a de-blocking scheme to detect and remove the blocking effect for better image quality

The purpose of this research is to investigate, with the strategy of cooperative learning, effects of junior high school students’ conceptual change in the human circulatory system unit. The research tools consist of the Biology Concept Diagnostic Test (BCDT), semi-structured interviews, and cooperation learning questionnaire. The BCDT was used to investigate the difference between cooperative learning and conventional methods. After teaching, the situation of concept change of the students’ blood circulation system was thoroughly discussed and found out with semi-structured interviews, and cooperation learning questionnaire. This study adopted a quasi-experimental design. Four seventh-grade classes were recruited, 2 classes (a total of 59 students) assign to the experimental group under the Student’s Team Achievement Division (STAD) of cooperative learning system, the remaining 2 classes (a total of 74 students) assigned to the control group under the conventional system. The quantitative data were from the BCDT; the qualitative data were from the others. The results from the analysis of the BCDT showed that the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in the aspects of the conceptual change and maintenance (p< .001). The results of the sexual comparison indicated that male and female students’ conceptual change was not remarkably different. Moreover, the results of the semi-structured interviews indicated that the experimental group was better in effects of the conceptual change. However, both groups were not familiar with the blood circulation diagram. According to our study results, we suggest the future teaching methods, research plans, teacher specialized growth, and school administration.

Kaohsiung has positioned itself vis-à-vis Mainland China which is situated in East Asia and has embraced two rapidly increasing global commercial centers: one of the massive cities group of Greater Hong Kong, including Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Macau and the other, Greater Shanghai, including Shanghai, Wuxi, Suzhou, Nanjing, and Ningbo. It is estimated that by 2020 the development of the coastal areas of Southeast Mainland China and the Yangtze River Delta will bring a second wave of rapid economic growth. Utilizing such a massive market power and regardless an economic integration via a CEPA formation, a West coastal economic area model or a shared market model across the Taiwan Strait, Kaohsiung should deem it important to seize the opportunity and function as a pioneer for direct cross-strait transportation with its advantageous position in the above-mentioned area. It should join the ensuing market and, through the massive market power of a harbor city, strengthen its advantages to attract more students from Mainland China to study in Kaohsiung. It is hoped that those who come to study in Kaohsiung will recognize Kaohsiung’s advantageous position and learn democracy at campus and how to tolerate multi-culturalism. Moreover, it is hoped that through interpersonal interactions they will see Kaohsiung as their dwelling place for their work and life and subsequently utilize the city as a nexus point to reach the rest of the world. Employing the research method of Interactive Management (IM), the present study conducted two interactive symposiums on researching how to enhance the human resources in Kaohsiung in the aftermath of the direct cross-strait transportation. The participants to the interactive symposiums have come up with 12 strategies as the prerequisite preparations for the ultimate purpose of the symposiums – to enhance the economic development of Kaohsiung and to attract high-quality human power to move to and dwell in Kaohsiung in order to contribute to the development of Kaohsiung. Concerning the issue of recruiting the students of Mainland China to receive the higher education in Kaohsiung, the result of the study indicates that the symposium participants demonstrate a higher degree of consensus on 1) how the universities and colleges in Kaohsiung should enhance their competitiveness and 2) a mutual recognition of the academic certificates as the most important pre-condition of the communication of the higher education across the strait. Moreover, in the second interactive symposium, in spite of the escalation of opinion diversion, it also shows that the symposium participants gradually adjusted their individual opinions to respecting and understanding others’ opinions. Subsequently, a consensus was reached through brainstorming, independent thinking, rational debating and publicly opinion-expressing.

This study investigated the current statuses of and correlations between work-related difficulties and coping strategies among public preschool educators in Hsinchu County and Hsinchu City after implementation of the integration of early childhood education and care. Based on previous literature, a questionnaire named “Survey on Work-related Difficulties and Coping Strategies of Preschool Educators” was developed. This questionnaire was administered to public preschool educators in Hsinchu County and Hsinchu City. A total of 498 questionnaires were distributed, and 351 valid responses were obtained, resulting in a valid response rate of 70.48%. The main findings were as follows: 1. The preschool educators perceived an intermediate to low level of work-related difficulties, with the difficulties in “school administration” being the highest and those in “interpersonal relationships” being the lowest. 2. Among their coping strategies, “Problem solving” was most frequently used, while “Avoidance and compromise” was least frequently used. 3. The preschool educators’ overall perception of work-related difficulties varied significantly by workplace, position, and class combination. 4. The preschool educators’ coping strategies for work-related difficulties varied significantly by length of service, workplace, and professional background. 5. In their use of the assistance seeking strategy, the preschool educators usually sought assistance from “class partners or school colleagues”; in their use of the problem solving strategy, they would usually “communicate and discuss with those concerned”; in their use of the self-adaptation strategy, “identifying and improving the problem through self-reflection” was their most frequent action; in their use of the avoidance and compromise strategy, “observing the situations before figuring out a solution” was most frequently adopted by them. 6. Difficulties in school administration and difficulties in interpersonal relationships were both slightly correlated with coping strategies. Abstract The primary purpose of this study was to explore the effect of using cooperative learning method for student’s Accounting learning competence in a vocational high school. Through the study, the researcher intended to find out the obstacles and develop workable strategies to overcome every obstacle. The subjects of the study were the teacher’s intact class (first-year class 2), including eight boys and twenty-eight girls. The teacher adopted heterogeneous grouping to using cooperative learning methods from November 2002 to January 2003. This was qualitative and quantitative research. The quantitative research tools were the learning attitude scale in accounting, the feeling of accept cooperative learning method and interpersonal relation of the class scale. These data were analyzed by SPSS software. Collecting student’ learning log, students’ questionnaires and classroom observation record in such a learning environment. Keeping the record of the teacher’s findings, thoughts and changes during the period of action research and interviewing students’ records. The relative information was used to do the qualitative analysis. The major findings of this study were listed as following: 1. The cooperative learning could enhance the students’ learning attitudes. Especially, it has significant effects to the students of middle & lower ability. 2. The cooperative learning could enhance the students’ learning achievement. Especially, it has significant effects to the students of middle & lower ability. 3. The cooperative learning could enhance the students’ learning feeling. Especially, it has significant effects to the students of higher ability. 4. The cooperative learning could develop social skills and promote interpersonal relationship. 5. Yet, some student’s individual questions, time limitation, free-rider effect and higher noise level etc. were discovered during the research process. The teacher explored the obstacles of using cooperative learning method and developed workable strategies to overcome every obstacle. 6. To sum up, this study reveals that the effects of implementing cooperative learning in a vocational high school Accounting classroom are generally positive. Cooperative learning method helped the students promote Accounting learning achievement, learning motivation, and positive attitudes. Finally, this study also provided some suggests to the instructions and further research.

We hope to research the joint promotion by sales promotion strategic alliances. Because the lack of review of marketing strategic alliances, it is hard ot found the motivation of joint promotion, content of sales promotion and their relationship. That''s we want to try to give it an answer. The reserch use the case study research included 3 banks and 29 cases. The conclusions are: 1.The motivations of sales promotion strategic alliances of bank are"inter the new market", "cost cut", "resources implementation"and"explore the share of market". 2.No matter the motivation of sales promotion strategic alliances, the content of strategic alliances all are price cut in the beginnigng. Then the content of sales promotion would be affect by asset specificity, If the asset specificity higher, then the content of sales promotion would become value added, if the asset specificity lower, then the content of sales promotion would become price out. 3.We find it is more satisfied to use the content of value added, less to price cut.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to investigate the effects of the Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) instruction on the English reading performance of adolescent fiction for senior high school students in southern Taiwan. To begin with, the students’ English reading comprehension and their responses to English reading before and after the CSR instruction were compared. In addition, the student responses to the selected adolescent fiction, the CSR instruction, and cooperative learning were examined. Finally, the students’ difficulties and their suggestions for the CSR instruction were explored. In this study, 62 tenth-graders were recruited from two intact classes in Lu-zhu Senior High School. All the participants were required to read two selected works of adolescent fiction, respectively The Whipping Boy (Fleischman, 2003) and Sarah, Plain and Tall (MacLachlan, 1987). Before the CSR instruction, the participants took a pre-study English reading comprehension test and completed a pre-study questionnaire. During the intervention, they were divided into groups consisting of five to six students, each of whom was assigned a role along with a corresponding task. In each CSR session, the students engaged in group discussion, strategy application, and group-based presentation to collaboratively comprehend the selected fiction. After the 12-week CSR instruction, a post-study English reading comprehension test and questionnaire were conducted. In quantitative analyses, a paired-samples t-test was administered to compare the participants’ English reading comprehension scores and their responses to English reading. Also, descriptive statistics was applied to investigate the student responses to the selected adolescent fiction, the CSR instruction and cooperative learning. Finally, four open-ended questions in the post-study questionnaire were analyzed qualitatively. The major findings of the present study were summarized as follows: 1. There is a significant difference in the participants’ English reading comprehension before and after the CSR instruction. In addition, the mean score of the post-test is higher than that of the pretest, indicating the CSR instruction helped promote the participants' English reading performance. 2. There are four significant differences in the student responses to English reading. The increased mean scores in the post-study questionnaire suggested the participants agreed that English reading is favorable for improving language ability, and reading comprehension. Also, cultivating English reading habits, and exchanging reading responses with peers can be crucial. As a result, the CSR instruction raised the participants' awareness of the need to engage in English reading. 3. The majority of the participants expressed their fondness for the selected adolescent fiction. They were impressed by the entrancing plots in the fiction. In addition, they learned to meditate on such issues as friendship, responsibility, affective support and familial bond in their life. 4. Most of the participants agreed with the benefits of the CSR instruction. They considered the CSR instruction delightful. Moreover, they claimed to have learned useful reading strategies during the intervention. Also, they were fond of the roles assigned to them in the CSR instruction. 5. The majority of the participants were positive about the cooperative learning in the CSR instruction. They found the group discussion helpful for English reading comprehension. Additionally, they claimed to have become more involved in the tasks of their group than before. Furthermore, they agreed that reading collaboratively had facilitated their English reading confidence. 6. The participants’ difficulties during the CSR instruction were divided into three categories, including (a) inability to fulfill assigned duties, (b) insufficient time to finish given tasks, and (c) divided responses to the text after group discussion. With regard to the students’ suggestions for the CSR instruction, their comments fell into four categories, including (a) the freedom to choose reading materials, (b) the flexibility in role assignment, (c) the extension of discussion time, and (d) the teacher’s guided reading of each reading selection. Based on the research findings, three pedagogical implications were proposed. First, teachers can combine the CSR instruction with adolescent fiction to help students become active readers and to enrich their English reading experiences. Second, students can enhance confidence of English reading and whet their reading appetite in the cooperative learning-based reading classes. Finally, student-centered reading activities can serve as a complement to traditional teacher-directed English reading lessons.

Abstract A Study on the Achievements and Learning Attitudes of Using Flipped Classroom and Cooperative Learning Strategies to Learn of Junior high school Students in the Mathematics 英文摘要 The issue of using flipped classroom and cooperative learning strategies to learn has received considerable critical attention. This teaching strategy have been claimed to facilitate learning attitudes and bring positive impact on students’ achievements. Although the literature on Flipped Classroom and Cooperative Learning Strategies to date appears to be relatively theoretical, the benefits listed in related literatures fit well with theories of optimal learning environments and student engagement. The aim of this study is to analysis the effect of using flipped classroom and cooperative learning strategies to learn in the mathematics to enhance achievements and learning attitudes of Junior high school Students. Both qualitative and quantitative measures were adopted to analyze the data in order to explore students’ enhance achievements and learning attitudes. Results of this study revealed that: (a) Achievements of using flipped classroom and cooperative learning strategies to learn of junior high school students in the mathematics are no significant difference. (b) Learning attitudes of using flipped classroom and cooperative learning strategies to learn of junior high school students in the mathematics are significant difference. (c) Quantitative and qualitative analyses of data revealed that students are mostly positive for flipped classroom and cooperative learning Strategies. The teacher must pay attention the learning content meets the learner center when student self-learning and to create a friendly cooperative learning place when student cooperative learning in class. The research summarize our findings, highlight limitations of current research, and offer suggestions for future research.The paper closes with advice for teachers’ reference using flipped classroom and cooperative learning strategies to teaching. Abstract The purpose of the study was to investigate the effectiveness of collaborative learning applied in gasoline injection engine courses by examining the effects of teaching methods on students’ achievements , and learning strategies created or promoted at vocational senior high schools. Meanwhile, the study examined whether there were significant differences in learning styles and learning strategies of the students with high and low capacities in the experimental group and those in the control group. This study first reviewed literature on the theoretical backgrounds, characteristics, and empirical studies on collaborative learning, learning strategies, and learning styles. An experimental approach served to verify the effectiveness of "Student Team Achievement Divisions" method. The experiment was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. The samples contained 80 students of two classes at the 11th grade, in the department of automobile at a vocational senior high school. The experimental group and control group were given a collaborative learning approach and traditional instruction respectively, and the experiment lasted for six weeks. The instruments of the research included " gasoline injection engine achievement test", " the learning strategies questionnaire", and "the learning style questionnaire". The analysis was based on independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of covariance, two-way analysis of covariance, and Kruskal-Wallis one-way analysis of variance by ranks. The conclusions of the research were listed as follows: 1. The posttest results in "learning achievement" showed a significant difference in achievement test scores between the experimental group and the control group. The results also indicated achievements of the students given a collaborative learning approach are higher than those given traditional instruction. 2. The collaborative learning had caused a positive effectiveness on achievements of gasoline injection engine for the students with high capacities in theexperimental group, and had caused a negative effectiveness for those with low capacities; also, there is a significant difference on achievements of gasoline injection engine for the students’ various learning styles in the experimental group. 3. The posttest results in "the learning strategies questionnaire" showed a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group.The results also indicated that the scores of “learning strategies questionnaire”, “cognitive strategies inventory”, and “metacognitive strategies inventory” the subjects in the experimental group got are higher than those of the control group. 4. The collaborative learning had caused a positive effectiveness on the students with high capacities in the experimental group, who applied learning strategies to their learning, and it had caused a negative effectiveness on those with low capacities. However, there is no significant difference on the scores in the learning strategies for the students with a variety of learning styles in the experimental group. The purpose of this study is to investigate the approaches to enhance the attitudes toward science of elementary school study in learning “Science and Technology” of Grade 1-9 Curriculum. The subjects were 35 students in a fourth grade class enrolled in Pingtung Area Elementary School. Action Research was applied methodology, and incorporated cooperative learning strategies, continuous reflection and improvement. The research tools included instructional model that incorporated cooperative learning strategies, pre- and post hoc- measuring scales on the science attitude, semi-structural interview questions, self-developed teacher observation chart, group discussion records, teamwork observation chart, self-review chart, assignment slips to be completed by students. The data were analyzed to understand the change in students’ attitudes toward science after participating in instructional activities that incorporated cooperative learning strategies. The results showed that the implementation and application of cooperative learning strategies were able to improve the attitudes toward science of students. The data from the pre- and post hoc- measuring scales on the science attitude were analyzed with t-test, and showed that students’ attitudes toward science had positive improvement. The video tape on instruction and feedbacks from students showed that students’ were having increasing interest in natural science, and expecting the coming of the next class session. Based on the review, the teacher gained professional growth to improve the existing instructional model. The research proposed solutions to the flaws occurred in the existing instruction for the guidelines to the future instruction. Suggestions were also proposed on future researches and application of cooperative learning strategies for reference to science teachers and researchers.

An Action Research on the Cooperative Learning of Physical Science and Mathematics in the Ninth Grade by a Mentor Teacher Abstract The purpose of this study is to establish an authentic cooperative learning environment based on the experience of group learning in order to further improve students’ learning of physical science. The researcher designed a series of cooperative learning strategies on class management, such as discipline management, designing class context, and developing interpersonal skills. The researcher further established a cooperative learning environment after regular school hour to help students improve their learning of mathematics, taught by a mathematics teacher with the traditional lecture approach. The subjects of this action research were a class of the ninth grade. The researcher was the mentor teacher of the class. The study lasted for two semesters, and was divided into three action research stages. Data collected covered both quantitative and qualitative information. The quantitative information included scores on school monthly examinations, results from What Is Happening In Classroom (WIHIC), and a questionnaire on cooperative learning in class management. The qualitative information on the other hand was retrieved from worksheet, records about cooperative learning in class management strategies, students’ diary, and journal of teaching. These two kinds of data were analyzed and compared to reveal the effectiveness of this study. The results of this study indicate that: First of all, the well-designed cooperative learning activities in physical science can effectively enhance the students’ concept learning and cognitive skills of inquiry. In addition, they help the students establish the habits of actively participating in discussion and finishing the tasks. Secondly, class management strategies of cooperative learning in physical science class can effectively improve students’ motivation for cooperation and their cooperative skills, as well as enhance the positive atmosphere of classroom learning environment. Finally, cooperative learning helped this mentor teacher to manage the class effectively in the aspects of class discipline management, designing the class context, and developing interpersonal skills. The students were able to transfer the learning skills, attitude, and habits, well practiced in physical science class, to mathematics class. They were motivated to solve mathematics problems cooperatively as well as immediately. A learning-and-tutoring strategy enabled them to identify and solve the mathematics problems and hence their performance in mathematics was improved significantly. In summary, cooperative learning significantly enhances the students’ learning multi-dimensionally. Keywords: cooperative learning, class management strategy, learning achievement, action research.

The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of “Basic Electricity“Practical Course whether there are significant differences with traditional teaching strategy and teaching strategy of combined with concept of error operation to serve as reference for future teaching. Quasi-experimental design was used for this study. Two groups of students participated in this study for eight weeks. The experimental group has 19 members, and the control group has 21 members. Pre-tests were given to both groups in the beginning of study in order to understand the differences of professional basic ability between the two groups. The experimental group was taught with teaching strategy of combined with concept of error operation, while the control group was taught with the traditional teaching strategy. Both group were taught the same topics during this study. After eight weeks, the post-tests were administrated. The achievement tests after study included paper and pen tests and skill tests to investigate the student’s cognitive and skill abilities, and view questionnaires extra for theexperimental group after study. The statistic procedure employed for analysis experimental data and testing the hypotheses were: Descriptive statistic, t test, and ANCOVA. The conclusions of this study were listed as follows: The results of this study revealed that the achievement tests(paper tests)’ grades in the experimental group were not significant better than the control group.But the achievement tests(skill tests)’ grades in the experimental group were significant better than the control group.And according to the questionnaire of experimental group students, most students had positive views for the teaching strategy of combined with error operation and concept.

The main purpose of this study discuss the results in learning achievement by the cooperative learning teaching strategy for eighth-grade students. During the process of research, researcher use the questionnaire of Ministry of Education for quantitative analysis and collects the data including teaching observation and records, group activities works, etc.for qualitative analysis. The results of this study obtained the following conclusions: 1.Cooperative learning teaching strategy can enhance students' cooperative learning experience. 2.The cooperative learning experience for students’ grades regularly has no significant correlation, however the low academic achievement students can feel much closer from teacher and peer. 3.Through the process of cooperative learning teaching strategy, the cooperation can increase students’ learning motivation, self-confidence and social skills. According to the findings of this study, researcher can keep developing the cooperative learning teaching strategy and diagnose the assessments in limited time. Let students not differentiate as much as possible to learn in the classroom. In addition, provides teachers one of the strategies for differentiated instruction.

The purpose of the study is to examine the impacts of incorporating Interactive White Board (IWB), based on cooperative learning theories and learning by doing strategy, into integrative activities scouting subject instruction upon students’ effects and attitude of study and achievement in integrative activities learning. The study used the unequal-group experiment design to sixty frist-grade students from two classes at Chia-Yi Jounior High School with twelve classes in twelve weeks. Before the experiment, the students took a test of “orientation and map recognition scale”and “learning attitude at integrative activities scouting subject scale”. One class was sampled to be experimental group. They were assigned to be the experimental sample that received interactive whiteboard incorporating instruction. The other class was to be control group. They were assigned to be the learning list. This study used the ANCOVA and reliability and validity analysis to examine the hypotheses. And the results are as the followings: 1. Using interactive whiteboard incorporating instruction with cooperative learning theories and learning by doing strategy make learning achievement better than the control group. 2. Using interactive whiteboard incorporating instruction with cooperative learning theories and learning by doing strategy make learning attitude better than the control group. 3. The results from the interview showed that the experimental group students were in favor of interactive white board. The method could help them more interest in learning and help them learing. It also help them easy to learn the abstract concept and promote interaction in their team for strengthen the effect of cooperative learning.

The Effects of Posing Problems in Cooperative Groups on the Performance of Fraction Concept, Problem Solving, and Problem Posing for the Fifth Graders of Gifted Children Yea-Chen Jang Abstract The major purpose of this research was to discuss the methods of posing problems in cooperative groups, which would improve the 5th graders’ performance on fraction concept, problem solving, and problem posing. The research provided a reference for the elementary math teachers. The study of the teaching method of posing problem in cooperative groups was designed by the researcher,who combined the theory of self-conducted with the characteristics of posing problem research, and took the results of fraction concept as a reference. The technique required the experimental students in cooperative group pose their self-constructed mathematics problems, and then check and solve the problems in the group. The control group was instructed with the traditional teaching method. Totally 128 5th graders in four classes were selected as subjects and assigned to two different groups. Two classes were assigned as the experimental group and the other two were the control group. The research was conducted over a six-week period, for 40 minutes each time twice a week. Students’ scores on “Fraction Concept and Problem Solving Test” and “Problem Posing Test” were analyzed by using two-factor analysis of variance and co-variance. In addition, the experimental group was conducted self-rating scale to explore the level of likeness. The findings were as follows : 1. Posing problems in cooperative groups did improve the experimental group on whole fraction concept and Difficult Part/whole Concept, Number Line Concept but it had no significant effects on Easy Part/whole Concept. Besides, The gifted classes were better than the normal ones in the whole fraction concept and the other three concepts. 2. Posing problems in cooperative groups did improve students’ performance of problem solving. The experimental groups were better than the control groups. The gifted classes were better than the normal ones. 3. Posing problems in cooperative groups did improve students’ performance on problem posing fluency, variety, elaboration, and novelty. The experimental groups were better than the control groups. The gifted classes were better than the normal ones. 4. Concerning the self-assessment of the teaching technique of posing problems in cooperative groups, in recognition part — most students agreed that the teaching technique of posing problems in cooperative groups was helpful in mathematics study. In skill part -- most students agreed that the technique was helpful in mathematic problem solving. In emotion part -- most students agreed that the technique was helpful in stimulating their imagination.
